I’ve never used a trail camera before and was amazed at how easy it was to use. I had a couple of teething problems but their customer service (especially. Cassie) was excellent. They went through everything I needed to do to check the settings etc in a really easy way. They sent follow up emails to see how I was getting on, had the advice worked etc: they obviously want you to get the most out of their products!

5.0 out of 5 stars Really impressive results

Works a treat. Help us work out where the rodents were coming from in the garden and garage. Also tells you when the beasties are no longer in residence.

My husband is so happy with this camera. We have had our suspicions that we have badgers digging up our garden. This was confirmed with the camera. Very good pictures also picked up the odd fox having a wander through

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have delayed reviewing this untill i could give it a fair test and have found it does not dissapoint. Easy to use with good instructions ,picture quality at night is good daytime picture quality very good . Using none recharchable batteries gives about 45 to50 hourson picturesonly at the
medium settings video obviously uses more power . Very pleased with purchase.

Large card available coupled with long life batteries gives the durability that is required of the unit the picture quality is good considering when through all elements of the weather systems we experience so all round a good buy then a win win for all.

Used in the garden to see what visitors we had. Saw a fox moving about in our garden.
    Clear night vision.
Daytime pictures are really clear as well.
    Great buy.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’ve been using a 32GbSanDisk Ultra SD card and Amazon ‘basics’ High-Capacity 2400mAh NiMH
rechargeable batteries in my camera bought in October 2022. I had to peel off the plastic wrap from the batteries so they’d fit into the camera. This wouldn’t have been a good idea if the camera battery casing was metal as the plastic sheathing insulates the battery negative body. So if you do this, be careful, especially when the batteries are not in the camera! There may be other good reasons not to try this method, but it worked for me.

Once charged, the batteries can easily last a week if I put the camera out every night and limit to 10-20 second videos, even in hi-resolution mode, though I would typically pick up 4 or 5 events per night, so may not last as long if there is a lot of action in your garden.

As some others have mentioned, the camera does occasionally miss some activity though I can live with this at the price paid. I know this because the food bowl on which the camera is trained was sometimes emptied overnight without any event being captured by the camera either in photo or video mode. This is despite trying different camera distances, angles settings etc.

On the whole, I’m happy with the results, good ones which I started to obtain from day 1 with default settings, in photo mode only to start with. Some results attached.

Support and advice from the seller was excellent!

No rewards were offered and/or accepted for this review

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Value Camera .. but occasionally misses the actio

I don’t often write reviews, but I had an issue with my SD not being recognised. Contacted customer support who were brilliant. I’m normally tech savvy so thought i knew it all but it was a simple as this. Some devices allow you to take the card out while the unite is switched on. Not so the case here, and not that its a problem. Just didn’t want anyone else to make the same mistake as I did! Image quality and battery life are great. Really well done to the CS team at Ceyomur who have kept in contact with me to ensure there were no further issues!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI recently had a problem with the camera, it was not retaining the date and time settings so I was not able to set it for specific recording times, such as through the night only.
I contacted the company through their support email and had a reply within a a day. The support person, in my case Amilia, gave me some very clear and straight forward advice and guidance on resolving the problem. I followed the instructions and the camera is working normally again. The support I received from this company was fantastic they get a 10 from me.
    Thank you Joh

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersGreat little camera and customer service was excellent. Few small teething problems getting it set up, but with customer service’s help go it up and running and works perfectly. Only issue I have had is rain on the lens but that can’t be helped on a camera, if you use it under cover it is fine, great video and picture images, sensors on medium are excellent, and I now know what is going on in the garden at night 🙂

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThe unit functions as described, though a couple of “Be aware” issues, which would be true for all wildlife cameras:-

    1. The battery compartment is a tight fit for rechargeable batteries, as these are slightly fatter than non-rechargeables. I went the extra mile by using my Dremel tool to very slightly enlarge the top opening for the batteries, enough such that the battery can be slid in/out with ease.

    2. The camera chews up batteries, a decent set works for just a few (7..10) days. Again not unique to this camera.

    3. Note that the specs suggest a 6V 2A power adapter. In fact this is pessimistic, since it works with 4 rechargeables which total 4.8v (4×1.2v), so in fact any decent power USB charger works: I used an old spare USB charger/adapter rated 5v (actually measured at 5.2v) at 2.5A. Works like a dream.

    4. Therefore my final solution is the USB charger mounted indoors with a very long low-voltage cable, e.g. Twin Bell-wire, or sheathed twin, to the camera. So, no need of expensive batteries, no need to “recharge”, safe (no outdoor mains).

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersCamera is great to use. When delivered we started to have a problem with the camera showing a “white” screen on start up. When we contact the manufactures support, they were first class. Having tried resetting the camera and upgrading the firmware they concluded that it had an inherent fault. They then supplied a replacement camera which arrived within two days. It is great to have that level of support and to find a company that wants its products to be appreciated.
The replacement camera is faultless and is taking great pictures of the nightly comings and goings in our garden. For its price it is hard to fault.

I’ve had the camera in pretty much constant use for several weeks often in heavy rain and it’s still working perfectly. Picture quality and video recording are very good and the night recording is also great. Battery life obviously depends on how you’ve set it up and how many activations are triggered but I haven’t had any issues. All in all I’m pleased with the purchase.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI have been using this camera now for 2 months and I’m very pleased with the pictures/videos taken in daylight and at night. I found the camera very easy to set-up and I like that the top half of the front cover hinges out to gain access to memory card, set-up controls and screen, so I can see where the camera is pointing before I close and lock the front cover.
Overall I’m very happy with the camera except for the battery compartment, which is why I have deducted 1 star on my rating.
I have realised after 72 years that rechargeable AA batteries are not round and therefore do not slide into the battery compartment like standard non-rechargeable batteries. The battery compartment tolerances are too small, so I have to try all 8 batteries to see which ones will slide into the compartment easily. These go in first and the remaining 4 batteries go in last otherwise the batteries get jammed at the bottom of the battery compartment and it’s very difficult shaking and banging the camera with my hand to dislodge the jammed battery. The longest to date is 10 minutes to remove a jammed battery.
I wish Ceyomur would stop using this battery compartment and change over to the slide out battery compartment that they use on their other wildlife cameras.

Wondered what was eating our peanuts during darkness so bought this camera. Have now seen the Pine Marten feeding on the nuts. Very good and clear photos and videos of the animal. Have not had it long enough to comment on battery life but so far satisfactory. The Instruction manual is good but the printing is extremely small and the printing is a light grey. With these two downsides the manual is very difficult to read. I still give the camera five stars for its performance. Very good value perticularly at this incredible price. Have already recommended it to one of our neighbours.

As am just trying this out at present, I am trying to see what it’s like in my cattery on first impressions it seems very good, battery life seems okay then again they are expensive (8 batteries) if anything I would have liked a large battery maybe 2 so you can have one to change. But overall I like this item.

Definitely would reccomend. Settings are very customisable. The front facing display screen really helps you to set up the perfect shot before closing the case up – takes out a lot of guess work and trial and error. The videos and images are good quality and even include sound recording.

The camera has caught lots of wildlife in our garden; birds, foxes, hedgehogs, mice. It’s became quite addictive to leave it out for a week or so before checking to see what’s been captured. So much so we bought a second to give us an alternative angle to view too.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersCeyomur contacted me directly and offered to supply a newer model free of charge. They acknowledged that the camera they originally sent was defective. The CY70 has a much faster trigger time and the date and time remain set as they should. I have not yet looked at the shots on a larger screen, but they seem to be decent. We captured a badger, a fox, and several rabbits in the first night alone. On occasion it does not trigger (I know this because we set out a small water dish–the dish moved from one shot to another but whatever moved it was not in any of the shots). All in all, I am very satisfied with the camera and regardless, customer support of this caliber is worth its weight in gold. I greatly appreciate companies that stand by their products and will be recommending Ceyomur to others shopping for trail cams.

(old: The fastest trigger time was ~5 sec when tested empirically. There is no wildlife I know of that sticks around for an entire 5 seconds for you to take a photo. Might as well ask them to say ‘chesse’. The date and time would not set not matter what I did. I tried resetting from the menu, pulling the batteries out and back in, formatting the card, resetting again, etc. Nothing worked. The time always reset itself to 2021/01/01 00:00. Garbage! Returned for refund.)

Bought to replace another brand wildlife camera which stopped working as soon as it was out of the warranty period. Whilst it is too early to say if the same will happen with this one, it does seem to be of much higher quality in terms of construction. I was uncertain about the image quality initially (video) but as the colours seemed very muted, but realised that the camera was directed too much towards the sun. After adjusting the position the images have a very pleasing quality and colour. IR operation overnight also produces good images. So overall, I’m very happy with my purchase.

This is an excellent little camera and very reasonably priced. I have had it a few months now and it hasn’t let me down, taking many short videos of the wildlife that visits our garden each night – foxes, hedgehogs and badgers as well as the occasional mice as well as a couple of cats (though they are not wildlife!). Then as it gets lighter we hear and see the birds too. I had no trouble setting it up.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI wanted to confirm that I had a hedgehog visiting my garden at night, so after a good deal of online research, settled on the CY60. One of the key reasons that swayed me, apart from the very reasonable price, was the praise for the standard of after sales service by a number of the reviews. My camera arrived and after a few nights of mixed results, I contacted Ceyomur for advice on the camera settings that I was using. They requested some of my video clips to assess possible problems and identified a possible issue with the PIR system. They immediately sent a replacement camera and I am very pleased with the results I am getting. What really impressed me was the swift response from the company to my query and their determination to ensure I had the best experience with their product. Their customer support staff were very polite and helpful and best off all, their response was so quick. Ceyomur was not a brand that I had heard of before, but based on my recent experience I would happily recommend them.

This is my 3rd trail camera purchased over many years. It is a great bit of kit superb quality nightvision. Previous ones were 100 ish jobs this one at 50 is fantastic value and only needs 8 aa batteries and not 12.

A few issues initially setting it up, mostly IDTENT errors though.

This was easy to set up from the off. Bunged in an SD card and batteries, switched on to start recording and left in the garden overnight. Quite surprised to see the amount of activity in the garden. The quality of the video is very good. I had a tinker with the settings and got longer footage of activity. Definitely worthwhile doing a bit of research online for optimum settings on the camera.
Battery life is good too. My camera has been out for 5 nights in total and still shows full battery, so no problems with that.
    For the money, highly recommended

  46. MakaylaMcCorkin says:

Unlike some of the other reviews, I actually paid for this item. I had seen one in action, but setting it up was quite tricky as a first time user, especially as the side buttons (On-off-test) are very small and in the same colour as the camera. It is very responsive to movement, which meant that one place I put it, some branches caused it to operate almost continually! However, I do now know where the rabbits are, and that one at least can’t jump over the protective netting, as I saw it try to do so! The screen is really inadequate for viewing results, and so I have been removing the SD card and slotting in the PC. There is also a cable included with the item.

I have bought a 32mb SD card, and two sets of rechargeable batteries. The card might not be large enough if there is a lot of night-time activity, and I haven’t fully tested how long the batteries last.

However, I have set it up, managed to record wildlife, and viewed the results on my computer screen.

The camera system is well designed and a reasonable setup set of defaults. I like the fact you have a nice little display inside to guide you through the setup of the various modes and do xyz when triggered. The system has a significant number of IR LEDs (40 off) to ensure night vision is is of good quality. 1080P HD 24MP camera yields fantastic images as both stills and as a video. A decent wide angle lens makes the scene images good quality and better to capture the target birds or animals. SD cards up to 32GB can be used, but do not use microSD with adapter. The 6V power is supplied from 8 x AA cells 6V 2A ( the 8 AAs are 4 in parallel with the other 4 to yield enough power) and i found i got on my triggering a week out of these batteries. Only used quality alkaline batteries, do not use Lithium as the very low internal resistance will not respond well to this paralel connection of cells and may cause them to overheat or even explode. The main camera is IP66 rated so strap it to a tree or post and dont worry about it being affected by the elements; it will be fine. Happy to recommend Andrew

I’ve three of these cameras to track the hedgehogs round the garden. They do an excellent job and I would recommend them. The batteries are in the main body of the camera so the wires don’t snap in the hinge, making them more reliable. I use this camera with a 6v transformer and a 5mt extension in my garden.
I like the fact that only the top half of the camera opens and the lens & monitor are on the main body of the camera making it easier to point the camera in the direction you want to film.
I also like the clarity of the audio. One small drawback is the maximum length (5mind) of the video could be a bit longer.

This is by no means a toy. In fact it’s quite a complex camera which has too many settings for me to get to grips with. I Used it in my front garden and on the second night I filmed a fox coming right up to the camera (I did leave some ham by the camera). There are so many settings and you can finely tune everything. I am very impressed with it and night vision is very, very good. Now for the slight negatives: You’ll need to spend a few pounds for batteries and you’ll also need to buy a micro SD card. I bought a SanDisk Ultra 32GB Extreme microSD with adaptor from Amazon which is adequate and will give plenty of capture time (settings dependant). If you’re looking for a wildlife camera then I personally think this one is very well priced and offers good image and video quality with a multitude of options, which I left at default and really enjoyed seeing the fox close up.

I was very impressed with this wildlife camera quality, and I must say the performance is great. The camera has good motion sensitivity, and the photo quality is excellent. The 1080p video resolution is good enough for day & night stills and videos, and I haven’t noticed any delay on playback. The menu settings are very simple, the instructions are easy to understand, and it was pretty easy to set up. The build quality is very good, and the camera is well-designed, feels sturdy and very solid, works very well with rechargeable batteries, and described, it works great. The included strap is very sturdy, and the camera is also very well camouflaged. Recommended for nature observers, but not only.

This wildlife camera is a great way to see the best of nature without disturbing it. The quality of photos, audio and video is good both day and night. A decent bit of kit for nature lovers, it can also be used to monitor for the invasion of strangers and unwanted animals, and to record plant growth. I put it out outside garden and it rained. I wanted to know what animals are visiting. The camera was waterproof and when I checked it was dry. I managed to see a cats, birds and foxes. My four year old granddaughter enjoyed watching it back. The camera is triggered when it detects movement and captures great moments. The small colour LCD screen makes it easy to watch videos and photos. Overall an easy to use and easy to set up trail camera. It has a good amount of functions to choose from. It’s only 32gb, I would have like it to support more storage. Also it requires too many batteries although compatible with a power supply

I tried a couple of cheaper trail cameras but they were not very good, this one is well worth paying a bit more for.

The screen is at the front, so you can see what you are shooting, the settings menu is easily accessed and images can be viewed and deleted without removing the SD card. Incidentally, the spring holding it works perfectly, sometimes it can be too fierce. The batteries last for a very long time, the daytime images are excellent, and the nighttime shots are clear.

The package includes a cable to connect to a computer, a strap to fix to a tree, a nicely made tripod to fix to a wall and an excellent comprehensive manual.

It is a while since I felt so pleased with a purchase, I am more than happy to reccomend it.

  58. EdytheRiggs says:

     United Kingdom

If you’ve never owned a trail cam then this is one to consider starting off with, it’s simple to use and it gives some really good results. The unit itself is very robust and comes with the means to strap it to a tree or post, or to a fence or wall with an adjustable ‘bracket’ – it’s just a shame that they didn’t include a ‘spike’ so that you can ground mount it, although I’m sure that it wouldn’t be difficult to make one. I’ve had mine out for a few weeks now and some of the weather has been shocking at times, to date there’s been no evidence of water getting into the ‘guts’ of the camera.

If you decide to get one of these and you want to use it straight away, please be aware that you will need an SD capture card which isn’t included- it can take a maximum of 32GB, it won’t work with a micro SD card in an adaptor. You will also need 8 x AA batteries (not included either), they suggest using high-quality alkaline batteries and they stress that lithium versions shouldn’t be used – personally I’ve opted for decent rechargeable’s, this works out cheaper in the long run and it’s better for the environment. There is the facility to use a DC adaptor but I haven’t tried that yet.

The handbook is comprehensive and it is easy to understand, having said that there is a fairly intuitive menu which helps you along nicely. I’ve set my camera up to give 12MP images, even though the camera is capable of giving 24MP – I find that 12MP is good enough and that it saves space on the capture card. I have the video quality set to its maximum of 1080P HD.

You do have the option to set the camera up so that new images overwrite old on the capture card, I’m not sure why you would want to risk losing good images or video but the facility is there if you’d prefer it.

At the time of my review this Ceyomur CY60 trail cam would cost you just shy of 50, it is very user friendly and has the potential to give you an insight into how Mother Nature utilises your garden when you’re not watching – it’s certainly an eye-opener. I’ve been very impressed with this and I’m more than happy to recommend it.

This is a good quality nice and easy to use camera.
Follow the good written instructions and you will be up and running in no time at all.
The picture quality is excellent in both day and night vision. The motion detection setting works very well too and the battery life seems great.
Overall this is a good quality wildlife camera with a good easy to use menu and excellent recording quality.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIf you just want to monitor what is going on in your own garden then I would recommend something like Amazon’s Blink camera system for flexibility and features — but if you want to monitor someone else’s garden, or somewhere further afield, then a trail camera like this CY60 model by CEYOMUR could be an option. This CY60 is an old-school trail camera that is designed to be set up in a remote location and left to get on with the job of recording what it sees — no live monitoring or other real-time features. The CY60 does not have a memory card included and a note says “Please do not use a Micro SD Card with card adapter” so you will probably need to purchase a standard 32GB SD card before you can get started. This camera also requires 8 AA batteries and alkaline or rechargeable ones can be used — however it states (Note: Lithium batteries cannot be used) — I don’t know why, but I would have thought that these ultra-long-life batteries would have been ideal for this type of camera use. The CY60 is also compatible with 6V 2A power supply — but I guess if you were near a power supply you would probably be using a different type of camera anyway. There are a bewildering selection of trail cameras available but at around sixty pounds currently from Amazon the CEYOMUR CY60 offers some decent features for the price and can give good results after a bit of experimentation. However, no supplied memory card or batteries reduces the star rating a bit, but the CY60 is definitely worth consideration — four stars for what it offers at the price.

The camera was relatively easy to set up. There’s no need to change the default settings, however I did extend the time it filmed after sensing movement to 30 seconds.

The picture quality is very good, both day and night.

The initial trouble I had was positioning the camera. It does need to be quite low, I opened the screen and put it into test mode so I could see what it would record.

Once set up, it will record as soon as it detects movement – the recording will last for the time you’ve set up.

The only downside is that it takes 8AA batteries – i’d advise getting good quality batteries as they tend to last longer.

    Good picture quality

The Wildlife Camera 24MP 1080P arrives in a box with instructions. This will require 8 x AA batteries and a appropriate storage card to capture video footage. The camera is designed to be kept out-doors and will capture movement on video of wildlife. This will capture both day and night-time activities. The set up allows designated time slots when you want this active and the preferred time capture and time lapse photos. There is a bit of trial and error perhaps in set-up and what is best suited. A test-phase will allow you to set up a select what you think might be best suited. Use a good quality manufacture storage card that is capable to capture and store images quickly, there are good options available on the market. The camera can be set up in a few different ways, select the one which suitable for location. Outs was fixed to a panel of what which was pointing in the right direction. Nice quality camera, robust, designed for outside usage, thought about batteries might be a consideration and you will need 8. Works well in practise and very pleased with this item and what this facilitates.

Right let’s get straight to the point. This is a really good wildlife camera for outdoors or indoors, I’ll explain in a minute what I mean by indoors. The image captured is excellent and is after all 1080p. Downside only is it takes 8 AA batteries, yes 8, and of course I haven’t worked out yet how long they will last but that is down to how you set this thing. You don’t get these batteries supplied! You do get the option of taking footage for short or long periods with periods of rest in between, also you can target the hours that you wish this to be operating, and of course you obviously don’t wish to use this during day time. So it can be wise to start off by taking short video over periods of long intervals, and this is where time-lapse photography comes in, an art in itself. Also not provided for storage is an SD card, it has to be a certain fast acting card and up to a maximum of 32GB. Prices for those have come down quite a bit over the years so shouldn’t be a problem. There is a DC hole to take a small power supply, the power cable is not provided and although I have several power suppliers none of the connectors fit the hole, it’s quite a small hole so I will have to hunt one down. By the way I’ll retract my ‘obvious’ statement regarding not operating this during the day time as you will see in a minute. This dark camouflage coloured camera arrived with small pieces of blue protective coverings covering the infra red lens and sensors, in a small brown box and the box has two sections, one that contains the accessories which is a strong fabric belt that you can use to strap this camera to say the side of a tree. You also get a mini USB to USB-A cable to attach to the side of the camera to transfer pictures to a PC/laptop. You also get an attachment that is basically a base with screw holes and an arm that you can adjust to any angle within reason although it is a bit fiddly it does work. The bottom of the camera has a ‘shoe’ so that you mount this on a tripod if you so wish. This camera is totally waterproof as it should be, there are two covers to simply unclip, one on the upper side to access the mini female USB port and also the controls via an LCD screen and the other cover is on the bottom side which lets the cover hang down for access to the battery compartment at the bottom. Settings can be adjusted simply by accessing the LCD menu via several rectangular buttons and going through the options. Now this is why I come to the fact that there are other non obvious uses for this. I’m sure I have mice or rats in my garage! I have set down bait and traps but nothing so far. Some of the bait disappears. Now this is the ideal answer to that problem. So far nothing, but the angle of image is brilliant and will cover the entire garage space from one end of the garage or the other. I can after reviewing the images see what size animal I’m dealing with here. Hey it might be an entirely different wildlife animal as I live near the countryside. I don’t want to inhumanely kill anything, just lay down a trap for capturing a rat or mouse and let it go somewhere in the countryside. Also I haven’t used this in daytime yet and it’s still dark in the garage when the doors are closed during the daytime. I award this camera four stars and the drop in star is simply because lots of devices use lithium batteries these days and I can’t see why this isn’t using one of those. I must get hold of a power supply as I can plug it into the garage wall and hey presto it’s good to go without using costly batteries. It will also stop me from thinking ‘when are the batteries going to run out!?’ 4 stars for a very good picture, and time interval options, let down by the number of batteries needed.

A great camera for outdoors or indoors let down by needing eight AA batteries

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersAt first, I was not at all keen on this trail cam. I set it up in the woodland at the bottom of the garden with two other trail cams for comparison: a Bushnell and a Browning, all covering the same area.
The first night I had it on by itself set at the most sensitive for IR. There is everything passing this spot, Foxes, Badgers, Deer, field mice different types of birds/Owls and its generally reasonably busy, so I thought the most sensitive stood the best chance of catching passing subjects. It fired off at every movement of grasses and foliage, but missed anything larger, so the second night I set it in the mid position. It missed five Badgers, a small group of deer, a fox, a local cat prowling, and a sparrow hawk collecting nesting material (the sparrow hawk was in daylight) All of which the other two cameras captured. It did fire off eleven times, with no resulting evidence of what triggered it, once there was a doe in the background, but I’m not sure that was what triggered the cam? So maybe it’s just slow to react? I don’t know. I found the IR beam to be very focused and too bright, it’s not diffused as much as my other cameras, it did eventually capture a single Doe, but unusually, she didn’t come across the clearing, just stood in the background looking, this is unusual behaviour, they have either got used to the IR on my other cameras or they are not perceiving it as dangerous and has no worries for any of them because of the subtlety of the light, or this light is too bright and worries them. From the resulting videos, my feeling is it is not subtle enough and they are frightened by it, but the various animals may well get accustomed to the brighter light, certainly the fox in the video captured on the third night has?
So, the third night I tried more settings and put the IR on the ‘lowest’ setting which seems better, and captured the fox in the video. The camera itself takes reasonably clear stills, but the videos, although also reasonably clear, are a little jerky. None of the results are as good as the Browning/Bushnell cameras, BUT, they are much more expensive to buy.
Oddly it takes 12V worth of batteries, 8 X1.5 Volt AA’s; but the manual says external power should be 6Volts?
The camera comes with a tree strap and the option of a semi-permanent screw on bracket. Batteries and SD card are not supplied.
Although the results are not as good as those produced by the Bushnell or the Browning, considering the price difference to purchase, they are surprisingly good. Time should be taken to get the best settings for the best results, but it does seem worth taking the time to set it up properly. I think this has to have five stars for the cost, value for money and the results.

This is an excellent wild life cam that’s 1080p HD quality picture. It take one 32GB SD card in the side and takes 8 AA batteries that need to be good quality ones not cheap one’s. The DC hole on this and everyone I’ve bought is always too small and it have to shave some plastic off around the end see photo. This does work well and if you don’t have a lot of batteries you can use the DC cable to usb and a power bank just set camera to on close it and push the DC connection in the hole it will start recording after 5 seconds. The menu buttons are not light up for this price and I’ve got a apeman 20M just a little cheaper and the buttons light up green so 1 star off for that, otherwise a excellent camera oh apart from the rattling inside without any batteries in or SD card that something may of come loose like some hard hot glue maybe.

    Excellent picture quality.

Recently purchased this camera to replace my old one, which sadly started playing up after two years. This is a very good, reasonably priced camera. Easy to set up. Gives good nighttime videos which is all I want. Delivery was exceptionally quick. Cannot fault, very happy with my purchase.

UpgradedWildlife Camera 24MP 1080P, CEYOMUR Trail Camera with 120 Detection Angle Loop Recording Game Camera with Night Vision Motion Activated Waterproof for Garden Wildlife Observation Hunting.

This comes nicely presented in its own box so would be most suitable to give as a gift.

We live ver close to the woods so we get alot of wildlife coming into our back garden, there’s foxes, squirrels and various birds so I thought with this wildlife camera I could get some good shots of all these animals and birds.

My husband set this up in our garden overnight and the next day this camera had captured pics of the foxes!
The pics were clear and that’s using the night vision, I’m impressed!

This works exactly as it should…. The only down fall is that it requires 8 x AA batteries! This needs to be redesigned so it’s Rechargable…… Most things are rechargeable nowadays so I don’t see why this can’t be.
If this was rechargeable it would be good value for money but as 8 yes 8 batteries are required it’s priced too high.

    Needs to be rechargeable!

This camera is both a video and still camera for use outside or under cover.
You can leave it positioned to get pictures or movies of wildlife.
The camera has sensors to allow it to trigger when movement/ temperature change occurs.

It takes 8 AA batteries (not supplied), either lithium or Alkaline. (Rechargeables can be used)
You also need an SD card of up to 32GB. The type is the standard postage stamp sized card or you can use a micro card with a standard sized adapter.
A power input socket is on the bottom that can take a 3.5mm x 1.35mm jack for 6V. 2Amps , if you wish to use this you would need to purchase a power supply as one is not included.

Plug in your SD card and format it inside the menu options.
The menu also has a list of languages to choose from.
Decide what resolution you would like your stills. There is 2MP right upto 20 MP .
You can choose time stamp settings.
There is a timer set up for when you want your recordings to occur.
    Choose video format.
Use the mode button to look through your stored files and check the format of your photos and videos.
A cable for mini USB to USB A allows you to take your camera and plug it into a pc to view / transfer pictures.

I chose 5 MP for testing the still image and the results were very good.
Video at 1920×1080 p (highest video mode)also looks good, there are two lesser modes.
This WILL take pictures in the dark in infra red mode and the pictures are monochrome as are any videos taken in infrared mode. I found It automatically used infrared, I did not need to set it to do so.

You can set the PIR interval to allow greater longevity of the batteries.
There is a time lapse mode to enable long sequences.
Video can be saved in upto 4gb lengths, a new one automatically starts as the last 4gb vid saves, making 8 x 4GB videos possible on a clean 32GB card.
You can choose to use the side sensors for added movement/IR sensing or not use them.
For audio recording the option is on or off.

Pictures are full colour when taken in daylight.
A test mode allows for trying out the different options so you can get exactly what you want sorted out before leaving the camera. There is a short pause after setting to allow you to close it and walk away.

The outer case is a robust plastic in grey Camouflage and Black with tough closures and appears to be weatherproof.
There is the option to padlock or clip the case closed to stop tampering.
On the underside is a tripod thread.
You are supplied with a strong metal stand that screws in underneath, so the camera can be fixed with screws to a post or possibly a platform on a tree ( eg if you are wanting to get shots of a birds nest etc).
Also a Webbing strap is supplied which threads through slots in the back of the outercase which increases the fixing possibilities.

The camera can also just stand on a flat surface in case you are wanting to use it indoors for any reason (maybe to photograph pets etc) .

When picking up a movement to capture, it flashes a small red light or lights .

All in all this is a feature packed camera.
Keen nature watchers would love it and it could potentially be used for watching nesting birds etc in an aviary/ insect hotels/ Bat boxes / Garden intruders.
We are mostly going to use it for fox watching .

The picture of the manual is taken with the camera using the 5mp setting.

Day/night, video/still, weatherproof, timer , plenty of resolutions

I only have a small garden, but it attracts ground-feeding birds during the day and a number of small mammals during the night, including the odd marauding cat, so I was looking forward to using this wildlife camera.
Set-up was easy, using the supplied user guide. Eight AA batteries are required (not supplied). However, it’s possible to use a mains connection with a 6v 2amp DC converter, which I’m doing.
A mount is provided but, although it is quite robust it is fiddly to adjust. I have been experimenting with camera position and have mounted the camera on a block of oak, it can be stood on the ground or on a table and is very stable.
The camera has no inbuilt memory so you will need an SD card (not supplied) of up to 32GB. Retrieval of images can be done using a card reader or the supplied micro USB cable. Images are recorded as .AVI video or .JPG still images.
After my initial tests I was impressed with the quality of the images, however, there is a massive problem. The camera didn’t start recording until about five seconds after the sensor detects movement, but which time target is long gone. I suspected a fault.
I contacted the supplier’s customer support and was very impressed with the very friendly, high quality service. They confirmed my suspicion that the camera wasn’t working as expected and immediately dispatched a replacement, which I’m please to say arrived in a couple of days and is working as expected.
I’m looking forward for a let-up in the current bad weather to install the camera in the garden and I’m sure I’ll be getting some excellent images and video footage.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThe camera is great for the price: high sensitivity motion activation, night vision, and strongly built. The camera functions with rechargeable batteries whereas the last camera I got only worked with one-time-use batteries so I had to return it. The product does as it is advertised including arriving with a cable to download photos from camera to desktop and also a strap and screw to attach it to a tree or pole etc This camera is the 3rd addition to my collection, allowing me to film wild animals in my local area up close and understand how they survive naturally.
    I strongly suggest this product.
