The camouflage appearance makes the wildlife camera cleverly blend with natural surroundings and will not be easily discovered by wildlife. You could apply this game camera to wildlife observation or hunting, home security, or farm area surveillance.

1. The connection principle of the mobile phone and wildlife camera is that Bluetooth is used for discovering the camera, WiFi connection is used for data transmissions such as preview, playback, image transmission, and settings.

2. This wildlife camera only supports direct Bluetooth and WiFi connection between your phone and camera. It is not supposed to connect to a WiFi router, WiFi hot spots, or network. In open areas, the WiFi connection range can reach 32ft.

3. The App does not support the function of detection notification. You can open the App to check the camera’s capture area or preview the gallery.

4. When your trail camera is connected, the camera switches to TEST mode, and the motion detection will be disabled. If you disconnect your WiFi trail camera, your camera can switch to ON mode and start detecting movement again.

The product is great and the service is even better. Cassie was amazing to deal with when we had a problem with our camera and she sorted everything out for us. Brilliant. I will be buying another one of these cameras. Quality of Footage and images are great. We have a nocturnal visitor and it captures great videos of its activities. Thanks Cassie

Once I got the app downloaded the set up was easy. I am trying to get a set in AA batteries to last a week so I’m tweaking the settings at the moment. The recorded antics of Hopper Gob the hedgehog and friends are hilarious. They can’t get enough of the food I put out. Without this camera I would miss all this. Excellent .

5.0 out of 5 stars Now I can watch hedgehogs in comfort.

I brought this as a replacement to an older wildlife camera that had stopped working. I would recommend Ceyomur camera the quality of the video is amazing much better than the old camera. It is mainly used to film foxes in our garden and the quality is good enough to identify them individually. Works well with 128gb card but needs to be full size. You do need to adjust the settings for your own needs.

We have now been using this camera for 10 months and are very pleased with quality and performance.
Picture and video is excellent. Battery life is good although we primarily use this camera with a DC power supply. We recently had reason to contact Ceyomur support and were very impressed with their quick response to our emails. They were very efficient and went to considerable effort to resolve our issue to our complete satisfaction. We would certainly recommend Ceyomur and their products.

Very good night time video picture quality on all the settings.
Battery life excellent. 2K video 30 seconds approximately 45 videos per night lasted for 6 nights. (Depending on batteries used)
The trigger speed is slower than expected but I’m using the camera for hedgehogs in the garden but saying that the motion sensor is excellent with very few blank videos.
    Not tried the wi-fi.

5.0 out of 5 stars Slow trigger speed

We have been fostering two baby barn owls for the last few months as mum and dad had disappeared and through advice from a local charity have been feeding them. Bought the camera so that we could a) work out whether mum and dad had definitely disappeared-they had! And b) so that we could ensure that the owls were beginning to fend for themselves and grace when to reduce their feed.
The quality of the pictures and videos are very good and although we use it with quite close range to what we want to pick up we have also tested it in other areas too and the quality at a greater distance is also good.
The camera itself is reasonably easy to set up with built in wifi that talks to your phone via an app. The app itself is a bit buggy and could be improved but still does the job.
The only downside, as we have the camera 20ft up a tree is that you have to physically get to the camera and press a button each day to connect it with the app and download the images. Shame that the app cannot pick the camera up from a short distance however for the price paid we are not complaining!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great product. Very good value for money!

Got this as we thought we had a badger visiting our garden. With a few peanuts each evening this camera gives us a great view as to what happens in our garden after dark. It is heavy on batteries but we invested in some rechargeable one to keep the cost down.

I really like this camera and it is handy that you can download all of the videos and photos straight from the app.
Downsides are that it is a bit fiddly to work out how to set it up and also the batteries run out very fast.
    Great quality images though.

I bought the camera to track the progress of a couple of feral cats and I used it on the combined photo and video mode. It worked very well and I had plenty of footage as they settled into their new home. It’s easy to set up with lots of options for motion sensitivity. It also has a WIFI setting which I used a few times to monitor how much it had recorded. I would recommend this camera.

Camera takes good quality photos and video. The built in Wi-Fi is useful for downloading them via the App to phone without having to remove the SD card. I use the strap to secure the camera because I found the tripod/mounting plate awkward to use as the screws loosen quite quickly making the camera wobble. It seems a bit slow to start recording so can sometimes miss whatever it was that triggered it. I bought the camera to find out what was digging holes in the garden and now have some great photos and videos of the culprits in action (a fox and cub, also a field mouse).

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersFirst I’d like to say that although I’ve only had this camera for a few days, it seems to be excellent value for money. Photographs and videos are crystal clear both day and night, and the response from the seller to queries is fast, although they didn’t answer a specific question as outlined below.

The only problem for me is a bit of confusion over the activation speed of the camera. The advertising states that the trigger speed is 0.2 seconds, but the fastest setting for the PIR interval is 10 seconds (the default setting is 30 seconds), which means that the camera dosn’t start recording video for 10 seconds after movement is detected, which means that on one occassion, all I got was a video of the tail of a cat in my garden as it walked across the field of view.

Does the 0.2 seconds relate to photgraphs rather than video ????

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI got this camera to see the hedgehogs in my garden. It took a while to figure out how to use it, but once I did its easy enough. I wouldn’t say it is suitable for the older generation if they’re not used to using a smartphone. I’m still adjusting the settings to get it right as I often only see the hedgehogs when they’re leaving as the filming has a delay on it but I’m pretty sure that can be changed in the settings. I haven’t had to change the batteries since I bought it a few weeks ago and it’s still going strong.

I brought this product for my Grandma so that she could see the wildlife in her garden from the comfort of her living room. However the app was very poor when using it on her older Ipad.
I installed it on my phone (Samsung S23) and the app performed better however the wifi range is awful. I can only connect to the camera if I am practically in the garden which defeats the purpose of having it for the reason it was intended.
I assumed when I purchased this item that it would connect to existing wifi, however it does not, it uses its own wifi so its a faff having to keep switching between the camera wifi and my own wifi. This made it impractical for my Grandma to use as it was far too technical to teach her.
Also, when using the app feature, in order to view any recordings you have to first download them all to your phone, which takes ages!
Although the video quality is very good and we did eventually see some lovely videos of the hedgehogs in our garden, I would not recommend this camera for the wifi feature. We have another wildlife camera that saves videos to an SD card, it was a faff to view the videos too, unfortunately this camera does not solve this issue.
In conclusion, good wildlife camera, but do not expect much from the app/wifi features.

I will further update this review when I’ve had the opportunity to evaluate it.
    *****************************************************************************************
This is a well featured camera and it is easy to set-up and use. Recordings can be viewed and uploaded through the Trailcamera pro2 app.
However, the advertised trigger speed of 0.2 seconds is wildly optimistic, in tests it was between 1,0 and1.5 seconds. On several occasions, whatever triggered the camera was out of view before recording started.
I e-mailed the supplier but didn’t receive a response so, sadly, returned for refund.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOnly drawback is lack of remote live viewing using home WiFi. It would cost nothing to add this – hopefully a software update one day? Not that it matters too much to me as I my mode of working is to remove the SD card and transfer the night’s clips to my laptop and use a video editor to make a short film. Sample attached is based on 20 short clips, many not used of course.

This camera has great picture and video quality, the app is complicated to navigate but still seems useful. Just be aware that you cannot view the footage as it happens, the camera takes footage that you then upload to a device.

Therefore, I have returned this item as it wasn’t for me, I didn’t realise that the camera wasn’t live i.e. you could watch the wildlife as it was there. I was refunded quickly, and customer service is great.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe images and video I get off the card are great (for hedgehogs), but the Bluetooth only seems to work for me if I’m practically on top of it, and even then it takes so long to connect and ages to download, it’s quicker just to go and take out the sd cardwhich defeats the object of being able to check the device from afar. However, the customer service from this company is excellent and if you wanted to try it to see if it works for you (as I am aware not everyone has the bluetooth issues), they will be very helpful to sort it out for you.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe only problem is that it has yet to record any video. I have it set on Photo & Video but only get photo’s which are of good quality. The camera is used for wildlife visitors at night. The battery life is very good but a power pack would be environmentally better. The supplier is being very helpful in trying to resolve the video issue and an engineer is currently reviewing the settings to see I have made an error. They are really trying to ensure that I am fully satisfied with this purchase.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI purchased this camera back in June and it has proven to be quite a source of entertainment since. I have mostly been using it for capturing a fox on video – although I also managed to get a clip of a badger which was a surprise as I didn’t realise we had any in the immediate vicinity! I haven’t taken many photos with it, preferring video only. The video quality is pretty crisp – more than enough for sharing to social media etc, and the infrared night vision is impressive. The camera has proven to be a reliable machine and has survived some pretty stormy weather. It looks pretty cool with the camo as well. I had some initial frustration with getting the fox to hang around long enough in front of the camera so I took to feeding it as you can see in the video. It’s amazing to finally see close-up what before was only ever a fleeting glimpse.

Contrary to some other reviews here, I have had little difficulty in connecting to the camera wirelessly with my phone. It’s pretty easy to get the photos and videos off the camera and on to your phone using the app.

The only cons are that it needs lots of batteries and the lens occasionally steams up on colder nights but I think those issues are just inherent in trail cameras.

If you’re interested in wildlife at all I’d recommend getting this camera!

Attached to a tree or post the battery compartment using the strap is reasonably easy to extract albeit slightly stiff. Then I attached it to a Small Rig Super Clamp with ball head. Unfortunately when attached to a ball head you are unable to take the battery compartment out without having to undo the ball head connection. You then have realign everything again. Small niggle but frustrating.

Need to use trial and error, plus you tube videos are helpful.
Associated app tends to freeze or restart without prompting.
But for all of this – the quality of photos and video exceeded my expectations.
Also only using 720 not 1080. How clear will it be?!1
Very good value and I intend to get another.
Worth the frustration for fantastic results.
I now know what’s in my garden and when and I’ve got a near perfect record of wildlife at home.

Only had this a week, but very happy so far. Everything works as it should, good images daytime and dark. It’s niggly to connect but easy enough once you’ve got the hang of it (have to turn mobile data off my phone before it will connect). The app is great, easy to download the images and video. This takes a few seconds for a 30s video and pretty much instant for photos. I like the options. Mine is setup to only record in the evening and overnight using the timer, and to take 4 photos and a 30s video each pir trigger. This is much more flexible than expected. So far I’ve only caught a pigeon, but hoping for something more exciting.
I bought the high power Amazon brand rechargeable batteries and these last 3 or 4 days using my settings which isn’t so bad. I bought 16 so I can swap in a fresh set while the others are charging.

Bought this to video a group of hedgehogs that had started to frequent the garden. Didn’t want to spend a lot of money but this camera had some good reviews and You tube videos. My expectations were low, due to the cost. I was blown out of the water by the video quality at night. There was very few false positives on the PIR detector. Mostly cats detected from the side but did not come into camera range. Bluetooth and Wireless makes this useful if you mount your camera high up and don’t want to keep climbing up to it. This was so good that I have ordered the CY70 as I don’t need the wireless but want another camera. Customer service is better than some other more well known companies. Would recommend this range for someone who wants a trail camera but doesn’t want to spend a fortune.

The camera itself is pretty good really. The app is horrendous and fails constantly whilst you try to get the images off. Needs to be looked into by the developer. Unless you’ve had experience of these sorts of cameras before, it does take an age to figure out setting up, downloading and making this a part of your every day enjoyment of wildlife. After a lot of deliberation and false starts, we used this to film hedgehogs in our back garden, only to learn the extent of our rat infestation. The Amazon page is wonderful, but the instruction manual could be improved, especially with regards to setting up.

The night vision works well and the batteries seem to last. At 90 on Amazon, it represents good value and the support at Ceyomur (whilst being difficult to locate) is actually good. Recommended.

The camera unit is robust and seems well waterproofed – has survived a few days of very heavy rain in my garden. Two mounting options are supplied, one is a strap which is easy to use and works well, the other is a mounting plate with a moveable metal arm. I tried the latter initially as I thought the strap would not work for my mounting place. The mounting bracket really isn’t that well made, and the instructions aren’t clear at all how to use it properly, so I found that it would quickly become loose and every day I would have to move the camera back to where I needed and try to tighten up various bolts – not ideal! After a few days I managed to figure a way to use the strap and this has been a much better option, camera has not moved at all.

Camera uses AA batteries, not supplied, needing 8 of them. This is where it can get expensive. In my garden, I wanted to leave the camera on 24×7, I have foxes and badgers coming to eat throughout the night but sometimes daytime. I found that with my configuration (20 seconds recording time, slightly better image quality than default, all other settings left at recommended values), the batteries lasted less than 10 days. That would be typically capturing 20-30 clips per day. Depending where I was buying the batteries, I could see this was going to be costing me upwards of 5 every 10 days, which was not really workable. I have now bought a set of rechargeable batteries, enough to have a set in the camera and a set charging, which has cost me around 20. Rechargeable batteries seem to deplete a lot more quickly (after one day I was down to 40% according to the camera) but as I can recharge, this is not an issue for me.

Image quality, motion detection, night vision are all really excellent. You can configure various settings, some of which appear to affect battery life according to the instructions. My main recommendation would be to increase the recording length from the default of 10 seconds as typically you will find you miss a lot of what is happening, 20 seconds worked much better for me.

The camera can be configured via an app, or via the built in display, which is a nice option at this price point. The built in display also lets you see a live preview of the camera view which is handy for ensuring you have it set up correctly.

My main issues relate to the app which you need to use if you want to view or download images and videos without removing the SD card from the unit. The premise is quite elegant – the app uses bluetooth to talk to the camera and tell it to turn on it’s WiFi, thus saving battery power by not having WiFI running all the time. You then have to manually tell your phone to connect to the camera’s WiFI hotspot, and then return to the app which will then automatically connect to the camera. This all works, but is a little clunky – sometimes the WiFi takes 5 seconds to be detected and to connect, sometimes you wait 20 seconds, occasionally it doesn’t work at all and you have to restart the app and try again.

Once the app is connected is it well laid out and logical to use. You can view previews of images and videos saved on the camera, and then ask to download them to your phone. This is my main complaint – it is *sooooo* slow! A typical video clip on my camera is about 25mb in size. To download three or four videos sometimes takes nearly 10 minutes. Whilst the videos are downloading, the app effectively freezes, so you are unsure if it is working or if it has frozen. Anytime I have more than a couple of videos to download, I will remove the SD card and use my PC to copy them across.

As I said at the start of this review, the unit is brilliant and I would buy again, it would be nice if the supporting app could be improved however!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI like to see what’s going on in my garden at night and this camera is a decent addition to my group. It has a very robust feel to it and I like the fact that the screen shows what the camera is looking at as you’re setting it up. It does have a timer which is perfect for me because I don’t want to be wasting battery power by leaving it on all day ‘just in case’. The battery case is opened by pressing a little button at the front of the machine, you may have to press hard and you then pull the battery tray right out. You can use rechargeable batteries but not lithium and the only thing I would say is that when you come to remove the batteries, they are very difficult to get out. I used the tail end of a teaspoon to flip out the first one in each row (4 rows of 2). Another important point is that you cannot use a mini sd card inside an adaptor, you must use a full size card. The video quality is very good and as well as the date and time, the temperature is also shown. I can’t comment on how well it works with a phone, my mobile is far too ancient to cope with that sort of thing!

It is a very good product overall. Picture quality is excellent and it does work well at night as one would expect. However, it feels a bit clumsy to me as some of the plastic covers do not fit quite well. What is more I expected it to have batteries included as more battery powered products do nowadays.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersBrilliant camera. Very easy to set up and use. We knew there was a hedgehog living in our garden so we wanted to try to get some photos and videos. This camera does both simultaneously, and the quality is excellent. You can adjust the length of the video. You can also tailor the times when the camera is active, so for example we only have it a five overnight, otherwise we’d get hundreds of photos of pigeons etc! Pictures can either be downloaded over the in built wifi, or just slip out the SD card and pop into your laptop. Cannot recommend highly enough. Outstanding value for money.

Great camera for capturing overnight hedgehog activity in your garde

Golden Review Award: 27 From Our UsersAfter a great deal of research looking at the amazing variety of Trail / Wildlife cameras available I honed in on the Ceyomur CY65 WiFi Trail camera.
I was looking for my first trail camera and it had to be suitable for use in a small / medium sized urban garden to see what wildlife might be around, I knew we had a fox but was that all?
I think that it is is essential to do some serious research before choosing a camera and there is plenty of information on the internet regarding trail cameras in general and some very detailed reviews on YouTube on the Cy65 . This helps you get to know what the limitations of the various cameras are and how near you need to be to your targets to get the best photos and videos.
There were some features of the CY65 that I particularly liked, and these were:-
    1. The front facing display screen — which enables the camera to be accurately set up monitoring the target area.
    2. A regular sized SD card — the micro cards can be fiddly and easily dropped and lost in the undergrowth.
    3. The “low glow” I/R Led (as opposed to “no Glow”) — I felt that in my circumstances I wanted a better chance of good night time picture quality.
    4. The variety of power sources, including rechargeable batteries.
    5. Plenty of camera settings to suit a variety of image capture situations.
    6. A reasonable detection angle with a fast response time (0.2 — 0.4 secs) to capture images of any animals.
    7. The Wifi capability.
    8. The ability to choose photos or videos only — or both!!
    9. The easy loading battery cassette.
    10. A timer function for night time hours only

On arrival I found the camera to be well packaged and sturdily built. The battery cassette is a very snug fit and required a bit of a tug to get it out but there is no chance of it slipping out accidentally! The instruction booklet is fairly understandable and will get you up and running fairly quickly although I would recommend two or three careful read throughs and several cups of coffee before doing anything serious. The Wifi down load and mobile phone connections worked very well but you need to follow the steps carefully. You use the Bluetooth to help your phone find the camera and then the Wifi connects the phone to the camera for downloading etc. It does NOT work through your home router system.

I like the Wifi very much. It means that I can view live action, download photos and videos and change camera settings from inside the house. The signal passes happily through an outside wall (1980’s detatched) / window and if the camera is within about 32ft of line of sight then it works very well. Also it is extremely useful when setting the camera up because you can clearly see on your phone exactly where the camera is pointing.

The camera’s performance: Daytime images and videos are really very good for a camera that at the time of purchase was about 75. I haven’t fully experimented with the higher resolutions, finding that 5 Mp and 8Mp to be perfectly adequate for viewing on a phone or 17″ Laptop. The night time photos and videos are of course in black and white, the photos are at the same resolution as the daytime photos. The video is once again pretty impressive and some wonderfully detailed action can be seen.

Using the camera: Although the camera mounting strap is excellent I have bought a camera “spike” and adjustable head stock to enable me to easily move the camera to different locations to examine particular areas in detail. I first tried a very wide angle of view to see where I might need to concentrate my efforts, which it did — but I quickly learned that to get the best images you need to be within about 15ft of say a fox and 5 — 10 ft for birds and small mammals. I would say that there is quite a lot of experimenting with camera settings, particularly at night to get the very best out of the CY65. Having said that a simple “point and shoot” approach on default settings still produces very acceptable results.

Wildlife findings: To my great surprise on the second night I discovered we had a magnificent urban badger visiting our garden!! We knew nothing of his presence and I am currently keeping a log of sighting details. I have a feeling that this camera has sparked a new and hopefully lasting interest of wildlife in our household!

Customer service: When first using new tech after sales help and advice is paramount if you are going to get the best out of it. An early operator error led me to contacting them via email and I had further contacts as I explored the camera’s parameters and I must say that I have received some of the best customer service ever!!

Overall: From my experience I would say that this CY65 Wifi trail camera is probably very difficult to beat at this price and I look forward to gaining further experience of it and learning more about the wildlife in my garden! I have now produced a simple spreadsheet to record activity and link to my saved photos and videos!!

ive been very pleased with this. its not too complicated to set up and the results are very good.

it takes 8 AA batteries – worth using rechargeables

for what’s essentially a cheap camera, the results are remarkably good, and the waterproofing allows it to be left in exposed situations without worry

we now have a great spotted woodpecker regularly visiting the fat feeders and my next little poroject is to try to get some images of him (or her)

I really like this camera. I was wanting to watch what happened in my garden at night and how this fox was managing to get in my garden and do its business in there.
It’s super easy to set up. You need a memory card (SD) for it to work and this is not included.
You also need batteries – again not included.
The image quality is actually really good. I was quite surprised at how good.
I’d recommend this to anyone wanting to watch wildlife and see what happens when they’re not there.

I got this wildlife camera to see what was going on in my garden both day and night. I love animals/birds and try to encourage as many creatures into my garden as I can. I spend a small fortune each month on assorted wildlife food but rarely spot who’s eating. This camera is really easy to set up, it connects to your phone via Wi-Fi and has a range of 32 foot. You have to download an app and can access the feed and download pictures and video from the camera via this app. It can also record to an sd card (not supplied). The night vision is really good and gives a clear picture. In daylight the picture quality is bright and the live feed is smooth. Being a camouflage pattern, the camera doesn’t stand out and blends in with my surroundings. The cam works in all weather, so no worries about it being exposed to the rain. My only negative about this item is that it takes batteries, rather than being mains rechargeable, so this will be costly after a while. Other than that, this unit is well made and works well and is my new favourite toy!

This is the best wildlife camera I’ve tried yet.
It’s made from good quality plastic and the general build feels good too.
It’s got the nest qualities I’ve seen yet like the ability to connect it to your phone to set the settings.
You need an SD card to record onto which is up to 128 mb. You also need 8 x batteries which is quite a lot so I’m going to get rechargable ones.
The video is very clear and the night vision is much better than my previous one.
It caught my dog on video but looking at it I think it missed a little bit at the start which my cctv does too.
Overall though I think this is an excellent wildlife camera for the money.

Con’s.. for me the instruction manual could be improved explaining the set up options, and corresponding effects more clearly.
Pro’s.. captured great video and stills of our garden wildlife. Wandering badgers, cats and numerous variety of birds have been filmed, delighting the grand children (and me).
Batteries have performed really well and (with my video/ stills setup) I can leave the camera out for 3 days and nights with no problem.
I first used this camera during the storms of Feb’ with no water or wind damage.
I’m really pleased with the purchase.

I have wanted a camera like this for a long time. We get quite a few animals in the garden as the weather gets warmer and the night vision option enticed me even more!

The camera can be camouflaged in trees or bushes, ideally 3-6 ft high and is solid and robust without being too heavy to stay in place.

You need to open the cover at the front to see the screen, there is a black switch just below it that releases the battery compartment, it requires 8 x AA batteries. There are also USB and DC ports and a tripod socket. You have an on/off/setup button and are promoted to insert the SD card as soon as the camera is switched on. I bought a 32gb card but you can go up to 128gb.

Go to set up (there are 7 pages of options) and choose language/time etc and format the SD card. There is a wifi button and wifi/bluetooth is easy to set up – please see instruction booklet for specific instructions. There is an ‘OK’ button which you press once you have made your choices. The barcode in the booklet is easy to scan and works with IPhone or Android phones.

There are so many modes and options and being able to download, save, edit etc from your phone is ideal. The photo and video quality is excellent. There are various resolution modes and all produced high quality images and videos, you can even set it to only be active at certain times to save on battery life. It is waterproof so no need to worry if it’s left out in the rain.

The night vision setting is excellent, the photos are black and white but very clear and I’m looking forward to making more use of this mode as we head into summer as hedgehogs and the occasional fox tend to appear in our garden!

A great product, well thought out, and from what I’ve read excellent customer service should you be in need of advice. Pleased with my purchase.

Here we have a good quality camera with connectivity functions allowing for phone synchronisation. It has a decent viewing angle so great for wildlife.

The build quality feels good and the strap seems very study.
I much prefer rechargeable devices myself but this takes batteries instead.
This can be solved by buying a set of rechargeables and putting them in instead.
It will save buying new ones.

Overall i think this is a good quality camera system, much better than expected.
    Would recommend.

I do like photos of wildlife and this is pretty good. You can set it up to take nice photos. You need to go through the set up but it’s pretty simple once you have worked it out. It takes a lot of batteries – and sucks them dry – so I’d go for rechargeable. Linking to your iPhone is ok, need to go through Bluetooth and a ‘wi-fi’ type connection but it walks you through it. You put in a standard size sad card, it formats it thrn it’s ready for use.
Overall, nice camera, detects well and it feels very waterproof.

  76. CecileDesailly says:

This camera is better than I thought at first. It’s fairly “old school” using batteries and an SD card. You have to connect to it using Bluetooth, both for setting it up and downloading photos, or videos. You also need to be able to get to the camera to replace the batteries or turn it into the right mode so you can connect to it. This obviously might rule it out if you want to leave it in situ for a long time undisturbed. But it’s good enough to put in your garden to see what visitors you get. We tied ours to a tree. The wide angle lens has an impressive range, I am not sure how sensitive it is to movement across the whole visible region (120 degrees is the claim), but it certainly pick ups us walking across it’s path and it has snapped a few birds and cats, and the nighttime images are recognisable. I think it would be quite good near a bird table.

I am sure you can spend a lot more money than this on wildlife cameras, but this might be a good one to start with.

When I took this out of the wrapping I was along the lines of where do I start. I followed the instructions
and as I should do and got there with out to much trouble.
When you look at the camera it looks complicated but it’s not. You have three sensors that trigger the
camera to record, They are at different angles. I would say for mounting higher rather than lower.
There is a battery compartment with a clip over lock and the batteries and a card are need to get it up
and running. The body is camouflage in muted colours and frankly will not be seen by any wild life.
You operate this from your mobile and also record to it as well. Not heavy and can be mounted in a
number of different ways on what ever way you prefer. Not heavy even once the batteries are in.
I took my time getting used to it and that was the right way to do it. The quality of the pictures astounded me. I thought they might be grainy and horrible. Anything but. We have deer and a fox on a regular visit. A lot of Pheasant and general wild life. The fox even comes up to the top of the stairs to check for food.
When setting it up take your time it does all you need you just have to get used to it.
Much better than I thought and I’m enjoying it very much

It looks well made and it is waterproof (although I haven’t tested this)The instructions were easy to follow for setting it up, it has a motion sensor and night vision, the camouflage is good and it was easy to site.
I think that the price doesn’t really indicate how good the results are from this camera, as you can see in the short video the clarity at night is very good. I would definitely recommend it.

It takes 8 aa batteries I bought rechargeable energizer ones as that’s what they recommended the camera has a screen aswel so can go through the pictures on the actual device night mode isn’t very clear tho maybe that’s because it’s b&w if I had to complain about anything then it would be to have a built in battery that you can charge from the device also you need a sd card for it aswel

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a fantastic outdoor wildlife camera. I had been sharing my other camera between locations at the front and back of the house, now I no longer need to.
We love feeding the birds, we have a feeding stand near our tree in the front garden near the living room window. We couldn’t get decent photography of the birds from inside the double glazing so using the outside cam is ideal.
It has a camouflage casing; it looks great now and when the leaves come back in it will be even more hidden. It has a strap that you can use to attach it to tree trunks, branches etc. It stays put nice and stable without being shaken by the wind.
It takes 8 AA batteries; we are using regular super strength ones but plan to get rechargeable ones. We found that we were not restricted to a 128gb card.
Setting up via the app is easy, it gives access to all the settings as well as being able to browse and download photos and videos on the camera, plus there is a set up video on the product page. I love the fact I can view and save or delete videos and photos from my phone using the app, I don’t need to take the camera down from the tree. Battery life is fantastic.
The motion sensing is really good, I don’t miss and of the birds as they are sensed from the side as they arrive. Image clarity is outstanding. Nigh vision is excellent.
A really great camera all round. Brilliant build quality fully featured and has great image clarity. Very good value.

The wifi connectivity is excellent. Great picture quality too.

This is my 2nd Ceyomur Trail camera (and in fact my 4th trail camera in all). I use them mainly for keeping up with the activity of squirrels and other rodents (!) in my garden as well as foxes and birds.
They are pretty good for doing this. This one Ceyomur Trail Camera CY65 is very similar to my CY75 (not surprisingly!) In fact I can’t really see any difference — not even the price!

It’s easy enough to set up (but then as I say, this is my 4th one and they are all pretty much the same with a similar menu structure) but maybe less so for the novice. You’ll need a SD card and 8 batteries (I tend to use rechargeable but these seem to need replacing every few days — I expect it will depend on the amount of activity in your garden). You can use any SD cards up to 128GB — so that should last you a few weeks/months! I like the new feature of being able to control your camera via “wi-fi” — this is an excellent addition to its capabilities.

There are all the usual adjustments that you can make on the camera — whether you want to shoot in photo or video mode, the quality of the resolution (3MP up to 30MP) the shutter speed, resolution of the video, length of each section of video (5-180 secs), audio on/off etc. Just as an example I almost always have as big a SD card in as I have available/can afford and then set the video to max resolution and have it running for 60 seconds.

The trigger for catching the little creatures is the same (0.2s) and it still sometimes misses the little birds (blue tits and robins) unless they stay for a little while. It captures larger animals (squirrels, cats, foxes, magpies for instance) with no problem.

Obviously, it is really important where and how you site the camera. I used to wind it round a tree trunk or a leg of the pergola or arbour in our garden. Now I tend to stand it on a tripod (I cover the rest of the tripod with plastic so that it doesn’t get too weathered/rusty — it’s mainly metal!) The camera CAN get triggered just by high winds which is a little annoying. I’d recommend not setting it up too close to overhanging branches. I did once and just kept getting video of branches swishing by in the breeze — rookie mistake!

The quality of the pictures is really good, the video ok and the night time video passable. All in all, this is a really good camera to use and much cheaper than many well known makes which have fewer features. I paid thirty pounds more a couple of years ago for a camera far less advanced. Hence, I could not really give it less than 5 stars at this price.

Great wildlife camera which is very easy to set up. Batteries and memory card are needed which aren’t supplied.
Comes with a strap to attach to treetrunks or similar and a tripod screw device to attach to wood with supplied screws or as I have done pen into the ground.
The Bluetooth is used to set the camera up and WiFi from the camera to retrieve the photos.
See photos which were taken this morning, about 15 shots of different bird visiting a pond in less than 24 hours.
Quality of the photos is good and can be varied to help storage on the memory card. Can be set to record video as well as still photos. Photos are date and time stamped for achieving purposes.
Night vision looks good on the display, but as yet I have not had anything trigger the device at night. Early days as only been in place 24 hours.
Really pleased with this and look forward to moving it around and setting video to test it further.

Set up was easy, just add 8xAA batteries and insert a full-size SD card (not supplied) and follow the onscreen instructions. Comes with stand and straps so you have several mounting options. With Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and at 74.99 price range (price at time of review) great value for money if you are in the market for a wildlife camera.

Strapped to a fence post and left for a few days, survived heavy snow, minus degree temperatures heavy rain so can confirm that this is very robust and waterproof.

I tested in my garden and caught a cat at night and the image and video was impressive, so night vision works and gives a very good quality image. Also did get a few clips of nothing, assume I need to play round with the settings.

Would have preferred rechargeable as the batteries could prove to be expensive, however can see this being a great deal of fun with the kids as they explore the wildlife we get in our gardens.

CEYOMUR WiFi Bluetooth 30MP 1296P Trail Camera
    =======================================
A whopping hi res 30MP camera with good IR. Takes the full size sd card and has a slideout tray for batteries. With the wifi/Bluetooth you can view footage on your phone (or change settings on the device) without having to remove the sd card from the device, which is handy if you’ve installed this in a high or hard to reach area. If you have it in a more reachable area, you can actually use the built in screen which works just as well. Comes with mounting and even canvas straps in case you want to tie it round a tree.
Overall great build, surprisingly good pics. The night pics are a little washed out, but still viewable, and the daytime shots are really good. It does take 8 AA batteries though, but considering its WiFi and Bluetooth that’s not too bad. Currently selling for 74,99 which is actually not a bad price for what you are getting.

    Nice wildlife camera

Moving straight onto the pro’s and cons with this along with a quick roundup to finish off.

    Pros:

Image quality: This has great image quality at a high resolution, this allows you to manually zoom into videos and stills quite a lot without them looking blurry or overly pixelated.

The night vision on this camera helps the camera display clear sharp images even when placed in an unlit area. This is great for wildlife lovers as they can watch creatures in and how they act without human interaction. This can be in a garden or outside of a tent, in the middle of a field. It really doesn’t matter where you want to use it, it can come along with you and even be left.

The screen is nicely locked away behind a lockable flap that protects it from damage while simultaneously hiding the light, stopping it drawing attention.

The controls are easy to use but this pro is also tied to a con.

Aside from this, it’s nice and light unit but the batteries add a lot of weight to it.

    Cons:

Connectivity: This interfaces with computers via an older style “mini” usb cable, not to be confused with micro usb. This alone isn’t a con but when you add to this that the cable provided in the box is only around 30cm, this becomes an issue. This does come with bluetooth and WiFi connectivity which is great but this leads on to the next con.

Batteries: This device requires AA batteries and while it can use rechargeable AA’s, it would have been much nicer to have a rechargeable lithium polymer battery built in as there’s plenty of space for this, if you lose the battery compartment.

SD Card: The device will not function without an SD card inserted, it simply displays a blue screen stating the user should insert an SD card and doesn’t allow you to bypass this to enter settings or see the viewfinder screen. Kind of tedious as I was forced to format my SD card with all my data on it, prior to being able to use the camera. This also states not to use SD with an adapter so Micro SD’s cannot be used in this which tells me the company were trying to save money by cutting corners with older tech that was excessively available. A smart move from a profits perspective but this doesn’t bode well for the end user as they then have to go out and buy older tech to work with their shiny new trail camera.

Overall it’s a decent trail camera and good for watching animals or keeping a look out on am emerging problem. It will even function as a security camera but let’s remember it’s portable so would be easily stolen if accessible.

I do recommend this but I urge the manufacturer to consider switching to micro SD as a means to bring it more up to date with technology that has been around for over a decade now.

Wildlife Camera, CEYOMUR WiFi Bluetooth 30MP 1296P

I have wanted one of these types of camera for a long time. I live in a rural area where I see deer most days, I have even spotted a badger trotting past my front door on the odd occasion. When I saw this camera I was keen to give it a try.

To be honest I was a little dubious about the quality of this as it does seem reasonably priced for this type of camera. But when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised, the build quality of this is really quite good considering it’s price. The camera is made of plastic but it appears to be strong ABS type plastic which is usually very tough indeed. The body of the camera has a camouflage colour so it will easily blend into a bush or tree and shouldn’t be easy to spot.

The camera can be powered by 8 x AA batteries, I found that nimh rechargeable batteries that I have seemed to work fine in this, although if leaving unattended for a long period of time then you may wish to insert some Energizer batteries into it. This will also work from a 6 Volt 2 Amp power supply which is not supplied.

The camera can be mounted to a tree, post or bush by using the supplied strap. If a more permanent fixing is required then a metal mounting plate and screw on swivel joint are also in the box.

The top part of the camera houses the lens along with motion sensors, as soon as something moves within the range of the sensors the camera is activated. The camera can be used to take stills or movie clips, there are various settings to allow for high or low resolution (30MP Image or 1296P Video). You can also set the video length and number of shots taken each time the camera is tripped. This can take high resolution colour during daylight, at night the image is in black and white but does have a crisp sharp image.

The lower part of the camera has a cover on a hinge, unclip the cover and fold back to reveal a small display screen, along with the buttons for controlling the camera. This does required an SD card which is not supplied, so you will need to get one before you can use this. The camera can connect to a phone via bluetooth, just download the app and you are ready to go.

I have been pleased with the results so far, I have only used this for a couple of days pointing towards a dirt track past our house. So far the camera has picked up a couple of rabbits and a nosey fox, one or two birds but no deer or badgers yet. The camera has good water protection so it should function in all weathers without being damaged. For the asking price this is certainly a handy bit of kit.

Where to start? Basically this works, does what it says it can do which sounds a bit simplistic but at the end of the day that’s what you want from any product you buy – sadly not all products live up the their description.
These sort of wildlife cameras tend to look pretty much the same, camouflaged and not big as to be obvious however, their price tags are not the same. At the time of this review the price for this wifi blutooth camera is 74.99 making it good value for money. There are some out there which cost a lot more and are almost the same spec and its difficult to decide if its a good buy or too expensive. For the 75 you get a good solid quality camera with viewing screen, connects easy to your phone. Good quality footage.

My only niggle and I haven’t knocked off any stars because its not a fault or issue more of a preference which is reflected in the price. I prefer any gadget to be rechargeable rather than use batteries. I’m so used to being able to just plug in the device and charge more than buy batteries or take out the rechargeable batteries to them put them in a charger. Like I said, its not an issue, if you want a rechargeable device then you have to pay more and then you have the issue of waiting for it to charge, so its all about preference.

    Overall a really good buy.

This is a great value camera for the specs. You would be looking at double the price from more popular brands but this packs a punch!

The camera is decent quality and day footage is really easily distinguishable making it good for not only wildlife but also general cctv function. The night vision feature works well and offers a an ability to see what you would otherwise miss. Made some decent captures on this camera (mainly just the neighbours cat) but proved it works well.

Really secure and comes with a clip to ensure no water can get in (necessary with UK weather)!

    Great optio

I am super impressed with this Ceyomur outdoor camera, it has a wide 120 degree lens with motion detection that’s quicker than my mobile phone at taking moving images that come out surprisingly clear. It works with Bluetooth via the company’s app and Wi-Fi and produces 30MP and full HD quality images. It comes with a stand and can be attached to a tree with the supplied strap, it can then be tilted to suit, though not directly towards the sun, point it south or north to protect the camera from over exposure, keep the front of the camera clear from moving branches/leaves to stop false triggers rather than the wildlife. You can set the trigger from 1 photo to 10 photos to ensure the getting the best shot. The shutter speed can be altered as can the image size. The best resolution is 1296P, though it can be altered right down to 360P. Night detection is black and white though sharp. The PIR can be adjusted too though will definitely use up more battery for a high motion detection.

If I had any negative thoughts it’s just the amount of batteries it uses, namely 8 AA batteries, I wish it came with a removable rechargeable battery like my doorbell camera, this would be eminently more convenient than expensive batteries.

Aside from the batteries it is a super wildlife camera with really excellent resolution that can be used remotely from the app to your phone or tablet, it comes with a USB cable and very clear instructions I’m very impressed with it for the money.

Great camera. Good photos and videos of wildlife. Slight problem setting up the camera but Andy at Ceyomur support was very helpful and soon had the camera up and running. Very pleased. Would recommend.
