Works great for the price!
I was tempted to buy the Ring doorbell then realized you had to subscribe to the cloud service which I didn’t want. So this came As a more suitable alternative and I could insert my own SD card. Battery time is adequate I have to recharge every three and a half weeks which isn’t too bad. Overall great value for money instructions are easy to use and it was very easy to install.
Took me about half an hour to set up and install. Picture is great day and night. First impressions. Bell was bigger than I thought it would be but works great. Sound quality clear. Camera is quite straight on. Doesn’t have side vision. Good quality for the money so far.

Easy to set up nice and clear camera best thing is if you lose power or WiFi is off it still records love the anti theft sounds like a police car and for Halloween you can change voice to a clow

Other than changing the router to 2.4 it was a easy set up it’s working well at the moment but early days the door bell is nice and loud and picture quality very good
Feeling more safe and secure
Being of the older less technical generation my concern was being able to set up and operate the camera bell and app, however having only a minor hiccup which was quickly resolve with an email to a very helpful agent, all is working very well. Had I paid more attention to the trouble shooting page in the instructions then all could have been resolved even quicker.

Quality is amazing
This is my best doorbell camera I’ve bought. Easy to install. Picture quality is excellent. Only prob is the charging. I need to charge often. You get notifications all the time to remind you to charge it and how much percentage is left. Sound is brilliant too.

XTU wireless doorbell with a built-in camera. Is an excellent item to have. Once you download the app. You can keep an eye n the outside of the house as well as answer the doorbell even you’re outside so you don’t miss a delivery. As it rings on your phone to alert.
I highly recommend this – I am not looking for compatible home security cameras.

I can fault this unit and am extremely happy with it. I don’t have a single criticism of it. It takes 2 minutes to set-up with clear instructions. We have used it/accessed it from all over the country to respond to callers and also to check the live situation, brilliant!

I have spent quite a lot of time searching for this kind of video doorbell. Finally I found it. The video doorbell is easy to set up and can oversee the front door environment. When people presses the doorbell, my mobile phone will alert me that there is a visitor outside and we can communicate over the phone. One more advantage is that it does not require endless monthly subscription fee. Highly recommended to those people in need of video doorbell.

Good quality for the money, easy to set up, just one problem, can’t seem to pau the chime to the door bell. The bell works great, picture on my phone is great and sound quality, just wish I could pair the chime, the red light flashes to pair but it won’t.

Simple to install and use.
I’ve had this for a month and it was simple to install and easy to use the app. I haven’t taken the cloud subscription but have used a memory card and can store all the videos I need. Video and picture quality in daylight is good. During the hours of darkness it’s black and white but also fairly good quality. Haven’t had to recharge yet but it seems fine.

Really useful to be able to see who’s at the door even if you are miles away. You can even speak to whoever’s there through the intercom.

This is the best thing I have brought, I recommend this one if you’re looking for something that is easy to install.
Impressive little video door camera. Quality is great! Ours come with a chime too which is acceptable volume set to its highest. When a caller presses the button , video comes to your phone . Was an easy setup. Connection to Wi-Fi was easy. Had to share the connection with my wife’s phone via the app for us both to share the camera connection . But yes works very well and is worth the money. I bought a cheap micro sd card for it too. All in all , it performs perfectly and for the job it does, I didn’t need to spend lots of money to get the same result.

Worthwhile upgrade
Having used a Smart door bell for about 3 years, I was happy with the product. But then it packed up, so I replaced it with this.
Much slicker looking device. And the app is far more streamlined and gives thumbnail previews of all motion detected in a list. Which saves trawling through video of yourself, looking for anything more interesting.

Bought this when our standard doorbell failed, looked at getting a camera doorbell but didn’t want to spend over 100 as that seemed silly. This one is great and you don’t need a subscription for it.

Help needed with the set up, I spent two hours and still have no voice recognition.
Seen this and considering previous reviews decided to buy instead of Ring. Pleasantly surprised by it’s simplifical setting up with my Android phone and sharing with my wife’s. Only requires 2 screws to install after charging the device, not sure how long charge lasts. Only difficulty I had was the securing screw, a bit fiddly for my sausage fingers (hint put a bit of Vaseline on end of screwdriver to hold screw in place).
Nice clear picture and alarm on phone and app is easy to use. Altogether a good buy and would recommend it.
Does everything I hoped it would. Good wifi signal; never misses anything; notifications every time, and the app can be used without having to pay out more (if you go with an sd card).
My only gripe is that the battery is not removable. When it is time to recharge (after about a month), it takes almost a whole day to charge. I have a large hall and a porch seperated by two doors, so cannot hear the door knocker at all, so very frustrating.
If the battery was removable and thus could buy a spare to swap it out when this happens, I’d give this video doorbell 5 stars.
I have had this up for about 1 month now. I added a 64GB memory card to it which went in nicely. No drama. Affixed the bell to my front door in minutes and its been working ever since. Very simple to set up. The app is flawless, intuitive and just seamlessly runs.
I have set the motion detector to normal and it works well. I get video recordings for every human interaction with the camera which is what i was looking for.
The notifications are quite frustrating. Even when you set the app to no notifications. You still get plenty of them. That is the worst part of this entire setup.
The doorbell rings on your phone and in the house and its nice and loud.
The picture quality is excellent and videos stream to my phone in no time. i am currently 200 miles from home and can stream a video in seconds.
Overall, there is a reason this is a highly rated piece of kit on amazon as it works excellently and for a month there has been no downtime.
It even tells you when the camera battery goes below 20% which is useful.
I have been using this for a month and I am impressed. Only lost 30% of battery power up to now. Good visibilty even at night. Can speak and hear clearly and I have not noticed any considerable delay thru my WiFi when someone calls. The chime is not the loudest but adequate for my portable needs. The chime is powered by AA battery’s or D input at the bottom, I think you can use rechargeable batteries recharged by this input. I am not sure on this as normal AA batteries are provided. After a month they are still working. The cloud edge APP does what it needs to and you do not need to buy vloud storage. Good product hence 5 stars.
The packaging on this doorbell camera is decent. The instruction booklet l found very easy to follow so set up was quick and easy the whole thing took me 10 minutes I’m not technically minded. The app to download is super easy to navigate around so you can have the settings to fit your own needs the picture quality day and night is superior quality l like that the camera doesn’t trigger animals etc it focuses on human activity, there is an audio option so you can chat to your caller, there is a reset button and tamper proof alarm. I really like that l can hear the doorbell ring on my phone so if I’m at the bottom of my garden l will know if l have a caller, l can share my app with family so if I’m away on holiday it’s great piece of mind having the extra security. I’m sure there are more features l haven’t mentioned as l have it all set for what l want in a doorbell camera you really can’t go wrong with this one.

I bought this not really knowing how good it would be but it does a great job in alerting us if there is someone at the house when we are not home and allows us to speak to them clearly. Bargain for the price and I have recommended it to others too.
Price very good, SD card a must as I didn’t want a subscription, can be sensitive, picture quality good although I blacked out sections so only applies to my front driveway I’m still having next door detecting motion! however still learning settings but recomend this video door bell without hesitation it also comes with a small chime box which is usb must be charged comes with batteries, you need to purchase an SD card for door bell, a bit tricky setting up but easy to follow and install
I’ve been wanting a video doorbell for a while now but reluctant to spend money on a wireless one from Ring and

I put the motion sensor setting to 1 as I have car pass by and people walking regularly. Even putting it on SD rather than HD was good enough.
Battery life still going strong on day 4 even thought I didn’t put it on a full charge when I got it and I’ve had a lot of deliveries too.

From me, I will be recommending this to my family and friends

Battery: since set up, battery life stands at 75% still. The doorbell is amazing and I’m very happy with my purchase.
Update!
It’s been 3 months now and only just had the notification saying there’s 20% left and needs charging.
It’s still very reliable.
Installed and it’s been ok but now it’s playing up like it’s faulty constantly going off saying a I have a visitor so I’ve had to take it down now!! I also have a software update todo but it won’t download it? I’d like the seller to contact me and try rectify this problem I’ve got and I will change my review. This is really frustrating especially when I’ve paid hard earned cash for this doorbell when let’s face it its not cheap is it. Seller please get in touch maybe I need another doorbell? I don’t even want a refund I just want my doorbell working properly or replaced.
**Update** So I’ve changed my review the selling for in touch with me and tried there best to fix my problem but still no luck so they replaced the doorbell amazing customer service the best I’ve delt with and the doorbell is great maybe I had a fault one but rest assured it was replaced. Thanks
I used this product for 3 months now. I have to recharge in every month in power saving mode. It’s difficult for me . I contacted customer care support and no update after 3 weeks!! So camera quality and functionalities are good. But aware about 2 things. 1. Poor customer care service 2. Need to recharge every month in power saving mode(lowest power consumption as per recommendation from company)
It’s nice looking doorbell, super easy to install and setup. Battery lasts 2week on 3/4 full charge on HD setting. On a full charge battery lasts 3wks. Down side, I don’t know if its because I have an SD card in place and not purchased cloud space, there is a day when playback. It takes time b4 you can see what going on. Watching live is great. Also sometimes it doesn’t pick up any movement at all. It’s like when it should it doesn’t, when it does I don’t need it it’s so weird. Other than that value for money it’s good. It’s got other features too which you can read about. Would I recommend yes if your not fussed about the odd non records.

The actual doorbell is very good. the cloud app could be better. i.e simpler to use. it was easy to set up.

Excellent picture clarity. Sound through intercom can sometimes be a bit low. But overall a decent doorcam. Would probably given 5 star if aligned with Amazon Alexa. XTU customer service were quite prompt to respond.
