This was great for our holiday. Good shelter as it was a little breezy. Very light weight and easy to pitch. There is a knack to putting it away and getting it back in the bag, but once mastered its easy. Great product highly recommend.
The tent has just been put up in the garden so far but it was easy to put up and fairly easy to put down again. Good size for the family. My only complaint so far is that there are no mesh pockets as per the images online which is a big shame.
I bought a lot of tents to try and on the advice of another reviewer decided to take a risk and buy from Amazon warehouse in order to secure the older version

We bought this as a beach tent. We are a family of 5. 3 children 5,4,2. so shade is a must for a beach day.
This was perfect for some shade, changing, (toileting) or just some privacy when out and about.
We zipped it up and locked it to do donkey rides and ice creams. We even pushed the pram into it. Which kept our belongings secure to be left. There is no way someone is picking it up and walking off with it as its large.
It takes seconds to put up. This is a huge plus for those of us with young children. We put a blanket inside to make it more comfortable.
When it’s windy you have to work out which windows to open slightly to stop it taking off. This is trial and error. weighed down the bags on the side with sand. (the pegs that came with it didn’t really work to well in sand) but did on grass.
We’ve used this in the garden for shade, taken it to local parks. It packs down relatively small and we usually prop it onto the pram when transporting it. Husband tells me it’s good to carry and not too heavy over long distances when he did carry it.
It packs into its own bad which is convenient and has enough room to get it in without distressing the bag. Agree with other reviews on this. Also instructions sown into the bag so you can’t lose them is a huge plus. (although once you know how you don’t need them)
Glad we went with the larger tent. (fam of 5, kids 5, 4, 2. plenty of room to grow into it. We can all fit in it which is great.
I would buy again for sure. At 89.99 is great quality with room to grow into it and I Hope it lasts a few years.

Saw someone with one of these on the beach and thought it was some kind of sorcery it almost puts it’s self up so had to have one no more struggling in the lightest of breezes with poles poking everywhere and the wife helpfully telling you that that pole doesn’t actually go in that hole it’s the other and packs away just as smoothly what’s not to like .

Used this a lot this summer. First outing was to the Air Tattoo where it kept the children out the blazing heat. Next outing to an evening open air concert where it gave my son a place to sleep and lastly, multiple beach trips. Really easy to use, lightweight and provides enough cover for a family of four at a squeeze. Really happy with it.
Having just used this tent on the West Coast of Cornwall it withstood the windy days we had and only used the Guy ropes once. It was perfect for a day on the beach acting as a changing room and protector from the mid day sun. Would definitely invest in another if the need ever cropped up.
So easy to put up and take down. Have used it all summer and it is still in one piece. Quite impressive as it has withstood Cornwall beach wind and my children who have had it up in the garden alot…who normally break everything. A great purchase.

I’ve not used it at the beach yet. But I set up a practice run in the garden and it was so easy to put up and down by myself. A great size for the family, and love the privacy it gives so you can get changed. I got this also as it has zipped window covers which most I’ve seen don’t. Got this at a reduced price so even better!! We live by the coast so this will get lots of use.
Lightweight, easy to assemble and take down too, takes literally 5 mins. Great source of shelter from the wind, rain and provides shade from the sun. Great size for a family of 4. Got two beach chairs in and all the beach stuff easily still with plenty of room. Love the fact you can zip up the front and get changed in privacy too. Didn’t realise when I purchased but has 3 windows which zip up or down to open and close.
Got this for a holiday. It was easy to get out and put up. The instructions for collapsing it were not as easy to follow. You never get it packed up how it was before, really have to roll it on the ground to wrap it up enough to get it back in the storage bag. Apart from that, it is good quality, could fit 2 adults in it sitting in beach chairs. Came with loads of pegs, they didn’t do much on the sand – fill the sand bags instead to stop it blowing away but they do mean you could use it on grass quite well. It kept the sun off and I think a lot better than the pop up beach tents that are not as big and are also quite difficult to pack away in my experience.

It goes up in 2 seconds, is easy to pack up and lightweight to carry. You have to read the instructions to make sure you don’t put pressure on the leg joints when taking it down. It’s a fab size, perfect for 3 adults to sit or 2 people in fold up chairs. The pockets are great, particularly the upper one to keep phones away from sand. My family love the beach, but I can’t spend long in the sun, so this is exactly what I needed. As the sun moves round, I can open or close the windows to let the breeze flow through. I love it.
Whenever I buy something online I always research thoroughly because there’s nothing worse than buying the first or cheapest option you see only to look a little further later on to find a much better product that might only cost a little more, me being me would then always regret my purchase knowing there’s a superior version out there that I could of had.
So after plenty of research this XL beach tent by WolfWise came up as the obvious choice and wow was I not disappointed by my choice, this tent has far superior build quality and features only normally found on the more expensive tents out there and so represents great quality for a fantastic price!
For starters this has the largest footprint for a 4-5 person tent and easily accommodates my 6ft frame both vertically and horizontally. The windows actually zip up rather than just tie up and the black mesh is perfect for letting the breeze through whilst keeping the sand out. There’s plenty of internal pockets for your valuables and a centre hook which I hang my portable, rechargeable fan from for extra cooling. The front door zips up if you need privacy and folds out to make a nice extended ground sheet.
The whole process of putting up and taking down will only take you a minute or so which brings me to the decisive factor as to why this is the beach shelter to go for. Unlike older cheaper versions of other makes that require pulling on a orange centre rope to erect, this frame just pops up automatically and clicks into place from the centre. Then to put the tent back down again, just pulls up and folds back down, nothing could be easier.
The legs of the frame lock and unlock into place with ease and are a reassuring 9.5mm thick rather than the thinner 7 or 8mm thick of its competitors, this gives it added strength in those windy beach conditions. It has sand bags on the sides and back which can be easily filled for added weight and the beautiful aqua and silver colour not only helps you quickly identify your shelter when looking from the sea but looks great on the beach.
I did buy proper sand pegs for the four guy ropes for extra stability in windy conditions but apart from that this tent is well made and perfect shelter for those hot sunny days on the beach.

Ours had a small hole in the fabric so had to send it back, I bought it at a discount deal and they wouldn’t replace it for the same price.. sad as the tent was great.
We use it instead of a gazebo in the garden. It provides good shelter from the sun, which has been really helpful in this very hot weather. We weight it down with sandbags on the patio which works really well. Very pleased with it. Our young grandchildren particularly enjoyed playing inside it on their last visit. Very easy to put up and take down, can be done easily by one person and then stored in the bag provided. That said it has been up for over a week without problem.

Have had 2 beach tents in the past, 1 had poles 1 was pop up, this is the best of both. After researching I went for the XL size and it is worth it.
Love that the windows zip up to stop them flapping about and that you can close the front for total privacy. Lots of useful pockets too.
Set up was easy and taking down is fine as long as you don’t force it, there are stickers with instructions to help.
Got this at a discount price and so pleased I bought it, if you are undecided like I was, go for it and go XL it will not dissapoint.

A friend had one of these and I was impressed. I did some research to see if there was anything on the market that was better. I couldn’t find anything and so bought one. I’m glad I did, it’s exceeded my expectations. Very easy to use and the kids love chilling out in it when the sun is at its hottest.
Very impressed with this product. Took it to the beach for the first time today and was impressed how quick it goes up. Would describe it as like opening an umbrella. The size of it is very generous to and will probably use it as tent as well for my boy when he wants to try camping for the first time in garden etc (not properly outdoors) as it will comfortably fit both of us sleeping.
We ate our food inside as well as a family of three to offer protection for the sun which was a great addition to our trip including getting changed so none of that awkwardness trying to change under a towel act hoping it doesn’t fall down just has your about to pull your pants up!

This beach tent pops up very easily, it’s relatively sturdy and quite big on the inside. My kids make me put it up in their room now that it’s too cold to go to the beach, and they have “camp outs” in it. Recommend for a 4 person family
Bought for a fantastic price as this is the shelter I decided was one of the best for safety, ease to put up and down. It’s a quality piece of kit for the beach or garden or anywhere. Plan to use it a lot next summer with my granddaughter and know that she’ll be protected from the sun and that it’s spacious. Groundsheet zips up too and the colour is fantastic from a fantastic trustworthy brand. Easy to carry and very pleased with it.
Not as big as i thought it would be. But it’s a great item. I have used it a few times and not disappointed.
Bulkier and heavier than my other beach shelter, a ‘pop up’ style, but so much more impressive. Erecting the shelter is simple and straight forward – instructions are attached to the carry bag. 3 windows and 1 door, all of which can be covered/closed for privacy. With the door open, 3 people can sit in it, closed I would say only 2 with comfort. Folding is a little fiddly and takes longer, as it has to be rolled up quite tightly, and I find it impossible not to gather a little sand with it. However, the grandchildren love it.
What is not to like about this sunshade.

We had a light rain shower on the beach, and we got 2 adults and 2 teenagers in this for about an hour. There wasn’t much room, but kept us dry.
Needless to say, when this needs replacing, I will buy another one of these.

I researched beech tents for about an hour before deciding on this one, and I have no regrets.
It’s very very easy to put up (just remember to click the two front legs into place first). Very very easy to take down, pretty easy to pack away and easily fitted in the bag. It was well made and looks quite durable.
I wanted one that had a zip up front for changing on the beach. It has 2 zips so you can zip up both left and right sides and leave the top open to see out.
It has mesh windows but with zippable curtains for privacy when changing or for shade. The zips are on either side of each curtain so you can part zip it up like the front, open fully to allow a breeze on warm days or zip up fully to keep out the chilly breeze on colder days. A hanging pouch under each window inside to keep your phone etc up away from any sand.
The sand pouches seemed to hold the tent down well enough on the windy beach and were easy enough to empty. We have used it as a changing room and shelter on the beach, play tent at Grandma’s, home cinema in the livingroom, the kids absolutely loved it as a play tent when we went camping (keeping our main tent tidy, lol), and we are planning to take it with us on our picnic this weekend.

We had a smaller beach tent for our weekly excursions to local beaches. After the grandkids took ours over we decided on something a bit larger and more practical. So after a fair bit of research we settled on this one, and so glad that we did. This fits two adults on beach chairs and all of our parafernalia with ease. I like that the mesh windows can zip up to offer wind protection, and privacy. Deploying the tent takes moments. Collapsing and rolling it up is getting easier with each use. And the carry bag is perfect at keeping it all compact.
We have used this a lot over the summer! We’ve had the other types of beach tent, the pop up and the poled versions and this is head and shoulders above those. Not only is it easy to put up and take down but having the zip up front for privacy when getting changed or leaving bags in when going for a walk on the beach it’s a fantastic feature. Well worth the money, couldn’t recommend enough!

The Kids love it for our picnics and we love the shade and wind protection it gives.
It does require you to be tidy with folding it down to make it easy to put back in its bag but this only adds seconds to the put away.
I would probably have gone for the XL if I had seen it before hand as I think as the kids grow up I will probably end up being edged out (we are a family of 4).
Fantastic asset for the beach. Easy to use. Good size for a family of 4. Brilliant shelter from sun or rain! Cant imagine a day on the beach without it.
This is a great beach tent which is sturdy and is good in a fresh breeze as long as it is well secured with the guy ropes as well as the base pegs. It is very easy to erect but quite difficult to fold down, it definitely needs two people to fold the legs and pack and roll the sides and base to ensure it will fit the bag. In breezy weather three people helping would make it a lot easier. The bag is well sized but it is best zipped up with two people assisting.
Exactly what is advertised. As long as it lasts a few summers I can’t fault it. Easy to put up and down and to fit back in the bag. Once up with the sand pockets filled it is not moving.
Deliberated on this for a while but turned out to be a great purchase. Getting the thing up is so easy. Getting down and back in the bag is a little more difficult but achievable with two people. It’s pretty roomy and would sit three adults and a couple of children with ease.

V v easy to put up and take down and nice and spacious inside – room for a couple of adults and babies to play while sheltering from the sun. Only negative is that the base material is a little plasticky and crackly and is different from the rest of the tent.
We bought this 3 to 4 person beach tent for our grandchildren when we go to the beach. The tent was lightweight and fairly easy to erect. I found a slight confusion with the instructions with respect to straightening the legs. Only 2 legs could be/needed to be straightened. The instructions implied, to me, all legs needed straightening. Once erected the tent was stabilised with integral sand bags and supplied pegs and guys. The tent certainly appeared to be sturdy even when our granddaughter used it for a walking support. The tent provided a good shady space.
This beach tent is fantastic, am so pleased with my purchase. I did quite a bit if research and looked at different options before deciding on this one. It’s a good size, easily fits 3 adults in comfortably and was great for our family of 4. The extended bottom is a fantastic design allowing you to zip up the tent and have some privacy whilst you change in and out of swimming gear. The mesh windows allow for good air flow so it doesn’t get too hot and can be easily zipped up and down as the sun moves throughout the day. It’s so easy to put up and down and I can do this by myself within seconds. The carry bag is great too because it’s a good size so you’re not spending ages on the beach trying to wrap something tightly in to a small bag. All in all a great product.

Bought this for a beach holiday. I’m so glad that I did!! This is a great beach tent, light to carry and very easy to put up. There are 3 pockets attached to fill up with sand as well as pegs included. Personally I’m going to buy some sturdier pegs for it as the ones supplied are plastic. Offered very good sun protection. I bought the XL and personally being a big guy I would say this is great for 2 adults and kids but 4/5 person would be a bit of an ask. Space for 2 chairs comfortably and bags and kids! Zips up at the front so you can get changed in privacy and bag it comes with has instructions sewn in. I suppose my only gripe would be the price as it is expensive however was worth every penny on the beach everyday and you can take it to parks etc as well. Certainly harder to fold back up than to put up but gets better with practice. Lastly, on a windy day you do need to turn the tent round as ours did start to move and would have blown away had we not turned it to reflect some of the wind. All said and done though fantastic tent and whole family was happy!!!
Was a little wary when I bought this but it seems quite robust and will do the job when I try it on the beach.
Very pleased with this purchase. I wasn’t sure about buying it and thought about it for ages. Very glad I went for it in the end. It really is so simple to pop up. The instructions I thought was a bit confusing so I watched the video that was with the photos of the product and managed fine. I purchased the XL size and it was perfect for me and hubby, our 2 kids and our dog. Plenty room inside to get changed if you’re on the beach. It folds back down really easy to and comes with a handy zipped bag to put it in. Haven’t used the rope or pegs as it wasn’t too windy on the day we used it, the attached sandbags were enough. Highly recommend!
Haven’t taken it to the beach yet but tested it in the garden. Very easy to pop up. Loads of space for 2 adults and 2 kids + the trappings of a day out at the beach. Zips up for when there is nobody using it or you want some privacy. Pretty easy to take it down. Recommend practicing a few times at home. All in all a great purchase.

This is without doubt the easiest beach tent to put up and dismantle the wind protection is superb and the sun protection offers a cool place to sit or sleep I’m the hot sun. Full marks from me 10 out of 10
Lightweight. Super simple to set up (really is mainly done in mere seconds, include the sand pouches and guy ropes and you add another 3-4min.). Well thought through. In retrospect, I should have bought the next size up for my family of 6. As the kids grow we could do with that bit more space, but for the moment it’s still a good size. Also easy to pack down and tidy away. Very pleased with it. Would (and have) recommend!
Excellent shelter. Plenty of room for 2 adults and a 10 yr old. Stayed fairly cool in the sun today in the garden. A little tricky to take down and never thought it would go back in the bag but it did.
Not sure how it would go up or down if it were breezy… we’ll see

Ordered tent for its size and easy of putting up/down. I was very pleased with both aspects. Had a very minor issue with the carry bag but that was sorted extremely promptly with the seller and to my satisfaction with no fuss or quibble.
Worth every penny. For privacy when needed the front base zips up. Lovely features such as mesh windows and storage pockets. Great colour and sets up in an instant. Very happy, used three times at the beach, offers good shade and ventilation. Very sturdy. Would take abroad eventually when we can but great for UK beach so far.
First observations was that the product although larger was light and would be easy to put in the boot of the car and then carry to its final destination on days out. Great start – as I had visions it might be too big!
The bag was of an ample size and I could instantly see there was thought by Wolfwise in leaving room for when it was repacked. Too often new products are squeezed into bags that are too small and so then very hard to repack.
The instructions are attached to the bag itself, which I think it a great idea for easy reference, so they won’t get lost.
I followed the instructions during the assembly, and being careful as my first attempt to put up, I guess it took me about 3 minutes to put up. This did not include pegging out the guy ropes but that didn’t take much longer. As new the guys ropes are not attached, so we need to attach them to the shelter, put for future we will have them ready to just peg out as has now left them attached. The ‘easy up’ action is indeed easy up. No cords to pull, just a push down on the top sections having firstly opened the lower section poles out in place.
I was very impressed with the size of the shelter, really liked the fact the window vent curtains are zipped (can’t abide ones which just hang with toggles as they can still let too much wind in when its not required). The front door is large, and can be pegged out too, so extends the floor area outside of the shelter.
The internal pockets are a great addition for keeping things safe, as is the middle roof hook which I think we will hang a small rechargeable fan from if needed and in very hot weather.
Taking the shelter down took a little longer, but only because we wanted to make sure we were doing it correctly.
With the lifting of the upper mechanism the shelter easily collapses, and then you pretty much reverse what you did in putting it up. Finally the shelter was rolled up and secured by the black banded supplied, it then fitted easily into its bag with room to spare.
I am delighted I made the choice to buy this shelter as opposed to some on the market and it looks like days of struggling to add poles to our current shelter are a thing of the past.
Would definitely recommend and very much looking forward to taking this on our next trip out.
Great tent for the beach, lightweight, Can be carried easily and goes up really in about 30 seconds.
Some stitching connecting fabrics could do with some reinforcements, especially where stresses can be applied. Also even though it’s a great sun tent it doesn’t stand up to any wind much more than a breeze.
Cloth quality is good and relatively easy to stood up and close it after the use.
It’s decent size to fit a family to sit so can be used in backyard too for kids to have fun in Sun.
It comes with handy bag making it easy to carry and store.
There are no downsides but if I have to say one , it is I cannot use it for camping but it is not meant for it anyway.
Generally very pleased. About as big as they come and certainly protects one massive dog and a couple of adults.
Easy to put up even in breezes which is a bonus. For its “up” size it is relatively compact in its carrier. The only useful addition would be a shoulder strap as well as the carry handles.
Assembling it is very very easy. A clever idea to place the instruction of how to assemble and dissemble it, is sewn inside of the carry case. Paper instruction is easier to lose. Ideally having two people would be better but it is completely achievable to assemble and disassemble it alone.
The construction is very sturdy and tight. Currently we play hide from the monster. So my son hides and me or my brother will pretend to be a monster. We will shake the tent to scare my son. Holds well and never feels fragile. Can be tide and pinned to the ground to prevent from being blown away. Inside you have three windows that can be zipped up for privacy, including the entrance for full privacy. Very spacious inside. So changing will not be a problem whatsoever. Also changing a child’s clothes. Plenty of space for two. Also has a hook on top for a lamp and three pockets below the windows for storage. Very practical and helps with organising your day. The tent seems to be water proof, but I haven’t tried it in the rain, so I can’t comment. No apparent gaps in the stitching.
There was one issue we had, certainly something that has to be addressed. There are two fabric rings on the front, sit on either side just above the zipper. One time the zipper got caught on the fabric ring and we couldn’t open the zipper. I was worried I would break the zipper. Had to call my brother to sort it out. The ring should sit further above and not overlap the zipper.
