A very comprehensive socket set offering good value for money As a motorcycle owner who’s always fitting new attachments and performing maintenance I bought this set. It’s been extremely useful and appears to be of good quality for the price paid. It’s made light of many tasks and proved versatile in other ways
Good tools All the pieces are there everything works as it should. Messurments on the tool are precise. I use it on daily basis working on a motorcycle never had an issue. Tool does nut crumble( small bits) does not break or bend . handles are grippy and sturdle
Son in law is very happy with it. Gifted to son in law after getting his first car, a mini, which he is now always tinkering with (ruining it if you ask me) and he says this socket set has really come in handy for him as he continues to ruin the poor mini even more
Very good value for money Excellent toolkit. All sockets are sturdy and more importantly 6-point for the bolts which is all important when working on an old car.
The ratchets have good weight to them and have held up pretty well, I have put them through a fair amount of use and they still work as they should and the ratchet mechanism is still crisp.
I’ve used the sockets with an impact wrench and it has been working pretty well. Used the toolkit to strip down an existing engine that I had.
Good Quality and Value for Money Everything in this socket set is chrome vanadium. When ordering I was concerned that only the sockets would have been chrome vanadium. Pleased that everything in this socket set is chrome vanadium because I’ve had tools that were not chrome vanadium and they don’t last.
Well worth the money This set is impressive. It’s well-presented, in a good, strong case and comprises a useful selection of tools for the DIY or car enthusiast. For the money, it’s a very good buy and should provide years of service. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Buy it!
Good solid tools I purchased this as my 20 years old socket set had corroded and some sockets had gone missing. The first thing I noticed was how heavy it is, always a good sign with tools. There are sockets, long and short in just about every size you would need. Time will tell how the tools resist corrosion.
Socket wrench set was little damaged Well I will give four start the package was good but little damaged hole. The set were pretty much same product what I look at before buying happy what I want, Nothing was miss socket great.

Missing 20mm Good afternoon I have had a cuppel of socket sets off you before and Kees coming back as they are brilliant and I am always happy but today I opened up my order and I am missing the 20mm socke
Good tool set spoiled by tool restraining system in case Comprehensive tool set which looks sturdy.
My only complaint – like previous reviewers – is the awful plastic screen that is used to secure the main sockets and torx heads in place. This is fastened in place with several small screws that have to be undone before you can access the tools, and refastened again to secure tools after use. Stupid, fiddly system that just wastes time when you want a tool. You basically need another tool to open your toolset – in what universe does this make sense!!!
Had this kit for over 2 years I’ve owned this kit for over two years now and i can confidently say its the best 50 i ever spent. Thing is a tank. Seen me through several car services, brake changes and suspension changes. Great value for money would highly recommend.

Not used but seems sturdy As the title says I have used this yet. The case is good and looks like it will last, although the recesses for the sockets are a bit roomy and as others have said they will move about and come out of place. I’ll be sticking a bit of adhesive draughty excluder in to stop this.
There’s a good selection of sockets both standard and deep a few handy torx bits thrown in. It’s not a set filled with useless driver bits to get the numbers up although there a few in there.
The sockets seem well made and have a mix of hexagonal and star shapes so they will get on pretty much anything. You can tell they arnt the best quality but for the price really good value.
The ratchets seem strong and feel positive, they also allow for small degrees of movement for those lovely tight recesses on modern cars.
All in all I’d be confident in taking an engine out using this kit and should serve most DIY mechanics well.

Really good set, batter than the Halfords pricer set I used to own. One gripe, have to use plastic cover inside to keep things in place, but that’s a small gripe.
The set is brilliant quality and has everything i need to wrench on most things. My push bike, motorbike,van, car even stuff in house.

Amazing value. This set has become my go to. If they hadn’t messed up the box with the plastic sheet/cover thing then it would have legendry status. Still good though.
Cheap and solid with a few issues Solid equipment for the price. However if you do not keep the plastic cover or open the the wrong way, all the components will fall out. After a few months various pieces of the toolkit rusted. The tools were used in light wet conditions twice, but were never submerged or used around salt water.

Good for DIY Mechanic Had this set for about a year and still haven’t found a bolt that doesnt fit any of these sockets. the only downfall is that the pieces go everywhere when you are moving the case about as some of them arent secured correctly which can be a nightmare sometimes.

Solid, tough and sufficient for most jobs Heavy piece of kit but seems substantial and robust. Did a full service, brake and disk change just using it and a screwdriver and had no problems.

Better than most. Quality seems good. My partner has used it once already. The variation in sizes is good. It is again cheaper than other well known brands and does exactly the same job. comes in a nice sturdy case and each part has its own little section so they don’t all jumble up together.

Be careful Had bought this kit last year. Been using for routine servicing of fairly new parts no issues.
When using however on harder graft parts the tools don’t manage well at all. Was attempting to remove a sump plug using a torch head, First use of this socket and it totally failed. Be careful when purchasing as not as good as it’s made out.

Good finish and fit. although you’re not supposed to…I have used a few of them on an impact gun without any problems. A small criticism is the six point (apposed to 12 point) and the thick wall of the sockets could give some accessibility issues. But I’m being fussy and probably comparing them to more expensive and established makes. Overall I would recommend this set.

Great buy This is an absolutely amazing set, it’s basically my first set of decent sockets and I’m not disappointed. Everything works as it should and everything feels quality. I’ve done loads of jobs to my bikes with this set and it never failed!

Don't buy the slightly cheaper copy!!! And KEEP the inside plastic cover!!! There is other socket sets slightly cheaper than this with ‘strenthened steel’, but this is high quality chrome vandium(last forever), with just about everything you need to repair a car… The wrenches are superb quality and the mechanism is very good… Clicks are less than 10 turns, and has a locking mechanism to lock the sockets in so they don’t fall… I’m very impressed with the set, and saved me whilst on holiday… The only critical point is that it doesn’t have an adjustable spanner, as sometimes that’s the only thing you can use… But this and an adjustable spanner will be in my car forever now… Nice case too, but be warned that you need to keep the plastic cover inside to keep the tools in place…

I purchased this after struggling for years with odd tools when maintaining my bike. This is easy to use and I’ve used it on all the bikes in the family. It’s a heavy old box, that’s for sure, but the number of ratchets and sockets is what does this – you can’t have all these without the weight. Ideal for a bike workshop or using for self maintenance on a car or other vehicle, putting furniture together and other general tasks.

Bought this as a present last year. Reports back are very good. Had a very similar set myself and used it professionally for years with no complaints ( I still have it and still in use even though I retired 7 years ago professionally ). I have just bought another one for my brother. Most certainly more than adequate for any amateur enthusiast. To find fault is hard and simply nit picking.

This is a really comprehensive set of tools that will really get in close to the problem. They appear to be very sturdy and well thought out. The set is a replacement for a cheap unit that broke. BTW, an excellent present! I will be getting several more units.

Quality seems good. My partner has used it once already. The variation in sizes is good. It is again cheaper than other well known brands and does exactly the same job. comes in a nice sturdy case and each part has its own little section so they don’t all jumble up together.

Great quality, cannot fault, however I’d recommend you put a bit of cardboard or foam inside as the smaller sockets tend to come out when transported, nothing more annoying than figuring out what slot it goes back i

Had bought this kit last year. Been using for routine servicing of fairly new parts no issues.
When using however on harder graft parts the tools don’t manage well at all. Was attempting to remove a sump plug using a torch head, First use of this socket and it totally failed. Be careful when purchasing as not as good as it’s made out.

Decent socket set for the money
I’m impressed with this set for 60.00. Chrome vanadium sockets 1/2 and 1/4 drive. Good finish and fit. although you’re not supposed to…I have used a few of them on an impact gun without any problems. A small criticism is the six point (apposed to 12 point) and the thick wall of the sockets could give some accessibility issues. But I’m being fussy and probably comparing them to more expensive and established makes. Overall I would recommend this set.

Although I have not actually used the socket set, I have looked at it and am quite happy with my purchase, I would say it is good value for money but I am not a proffessional mechanic so have limited experience of tools.

Using this socket set at work its getting a lot of heavy duty use. Not let me down seems very sturdy bit of kit. very pleased with it.

Only thing wrong the handle broke off the box and all the bits fell out when it fell on the floor but no big deal

Only just arrived. Opened and its in a sturdy black plastic case. Opened up and its a very heavy and comprehensive socket set. More than I will ever need. Was well impressed ro say the least. Proof will be in the use. Not got a job for it atm but I’m sure looking at the quality that it can more than handle it.

This is an absolutely amazing set, it’s basically my first set of decent sockets and I’m not disappointed. Everything works as it should and everything feels quality. I’ve done loads of jobs to my bikes with this set and it never failed!

There is other socket sets slightly cheaper than this with ‘strenthened steel’, but this is high quality chrome vandium(last forever), with just about everything you need to repair a car… The wrenches are superb quality and the mechanism is very good… Clicks are less than 10 turns, and has a locking mechanism to lock the sockets in so they don’t fall… I’m very impressed with the set, and saved me whilst on holiday… The only critical point is that it doesn’t have an adjustable spanner, as sometimes that’s the only thing you can use… But this and an adjustable spanner will be in my car forever now… Nice case too, but be warned that you need to keep the plastic cover inside to keep the tools in place…
