I bought this to clean my mountain bike easily before I put it in my car or home.

Let’s start by saying it’s not a powerful pressure washer like a mains one. That’s why I bought it. You can’t / shouldn’t use a mains pressure washer on a bike due to damaging the seals. That said I find it powerful enough for all my other needs.

First, it’s great for my needs. It’s light to handle, well balanced and packs away in my bucket.

Second, it can use any water source ie a hose pipe, a river, a bucket or even a 2ltr pop bottle (although I think this adaptation should be included). A bucket with 3 litres of water was fine to fully clean a very muddy bike. I take a 2 litre pop bottle to clean my bike straight off the trail to put into my boot and it’s enough. When home a bucket fully cleans it.

Third, you can change pressure from high to low and change the angle of spray.

Included in my box: ( I chose the no battery and charger, just the body version.) There is a short lance and a longer lance, a spray angle head and a netting bag alongside the washer.

I bought without charger and battery because I chose to buy the fast charger and a 3amp battery separately (ie longer battery life and charges in half the time) and it worked out about 10 more than the full package.

I’ve used it numerous times now, cleaning windows, cleaning the car and washing some chairs. It was easier for me than getting the mains power washer out. In fact, I’m thinking of getting rid of the mains one because for me this is all I need.

So in summary I love it, it’s powerful enough for me, and ideal for my bike when I’m putting it in my car, just don’t expect it to blast slime off flags for example.

It’s ok but I bought it for washing the car. I find it bit weak on the car really but having saying that might be bit spoilt from using power washers over the years.

It’s great for cleaning the windows on the house. Washing the UPVC window frames down it great for that.

Probably the most important thing which confuses people with this is that it isn’t a traditional pressure washer like a Karcher or something like that which is really high pressure and can cut through very tough dirt and grime – if that’s what you’re looking for, I’d suggest moving on to something different. If you want something that’s handy for cleaning your car, bike windows, watering the garden and shifting light to moderate dirt then take a look at this. This is a great little machine, working at a lower pressure but still surprisingly powerful. I use this to clean my car, motorbike and push bikes. It does a great job with this using both the soap spray bottle and the general nozzle. It picks up and cleans off most of the dirt and grime both my car and bike pick up without the risk of stripping the paint like a much higher pressure washer could quite easily do although as expected it won’t cut through the grease and road much on alloy wheels without a bit of elbow grease. I have in fact used it to clean my garage door and started to strip the paint on there where it had peeled a little so it does have a bit of kick to it.
The bucket this one comes with is ideal for cleaning my bike however you might have to refill to get a full clean over your average family size car. Having the flexibility to use any bucket of water rather than having to hook it up to a tap gives you plenty of flexibility and the hose is plenty long enough to work around your car easily, plus has a filter on the end to remove any big bits of dirt so it doesn’t ruin the washer or whatever you are cleaning. I personally use a big water container on wheels that is filled from an overflow off a water butt collecting water from my garage roof.
Battery life is decent enough too. You won’t get much more than a full car wash (including initial rinse, soap up and rinse off) out of a full charge, but then that’s pretty much perfect unless you want to do loads of jobs at once. There is a handy little battery level display on the battery itself, just with a simple press of a button.
Overall I knew what I was expecting when buying this and I’m really pleased with it. I wasn’t expecting the super-powered (comparatively) washers like some of the other corded ones available and because of this I could treat it and what I’m cleaning accordingly. For me it’s a fantastic bit of kit and I’m really pleased with it and would recommend.

    Great fun!
Great to have the shower feature, will defo take camping off, when off grid.
Used it for cleaning conservatory, windows, cars, bikes, easy to use, just chuck the end in a bucket, aim and fire!

I wanted a portable car washing system as I was fed up with having to keep running out a hose from the back of the house, where the water supply is, through the garage and the when the hose sprung a leak wetting stuff in the garage.
The system also has a reasonable pressure of water to clean the car, washing down the drive and the patio. The pressure wash is well made and very easy to use. I am well pleased with this produc

I have a caravan in a seasonal pitch in the woods. Over the course of 8 months ago sorts of dirt has built up as I’ve had no way to clean it – other than with sy bucket of water. I wish I had discovered this pressure washer ages ago. It’s incredibly easy to use, especially if you have a rolling caravan water butt. I’m well impressed with the pressure it achieves. I mean, it’s never going to compete with a pressure washer with a hose attached but that’s not what this product is all about. It’s cordless and doesn’t require need to be attached to a mains water supply. Genius!

ice and easy to use, love the adjustable settings, the ability to draw water from anywhere great – much easier than dragging my mains pressure washer out and connecting power and water. I just used it with a bucket of warm water to clean off something someone had put on my wife’s windscreen again, egg white or watered down pva glue, or something similar. 2nd time it’s happened, no known reason or culprit. Got to be someone local, so seeing me just take a bucket and the hydroshot out and effortlessly clean it off may help.

Only tested once, will add more after further use but first go was block paving.
Delighted it jetted Moss out of the joints on narrowest setting without making as much mess as a mains washer (but enough mess for my wife to laugh at my mud spattered head). Much easier than a brush for large area though still a chore and think the jointing sand will still need topping up though hopefully not all of it.
I’m sure it won’t clean oil stains etc as some want, but that’s a different job. Moss is definitely my bugbear.
I suspect two issues for those that say it’s feeble. 1) the hose end must dangle in the bucket, if any part touches the floor or sides the pressure drops right down or can stop. 2) in case you missed it, there’s a high/low button on the top.
Having used it some more, it can be a real pain if sucking up water rather than using a tap but from other reviews I discovered that means a poor seal on the inlet. Best use soap or gel to help as the nut will break if you overtighten.

Really useful Portable Pressure Cleaner, especially handy if you don’t have ready access to a Power or Water Supply e.g. you can use a Bucket of Soapy Water followed by a Bucket of Clean Water, the spray could be a little stronger but it is battery based so understandable.

I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to car cleaning, but now I m retired and disabled,I used to take it to the car wash every week, and it was costing a fortune. So, I thought I would invest in something like this. Reading some of the reviews, it was disappointing, but the positives were good. It is very easy to use, certainly does a good job as far as I m concerned, good foaming, powerful enough for me. I would recommend this to anyone. Enjoyable to use . One hour from start to finish. An abled body would finish in half the time. Brilliant bit of kit.

I purchased this for washing the car and it does it well, Its not as powerful as a Jet wash but it does the job extremely well and a lot easier than using the traditional bucket and sponge.

It is also great for other jobs and would recommend this item and will return to buy other items from the range

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFantastic for me.
I have no access to an outside tap, I pop the hose inside 20l tub.

I can get two car washes out of a battery.

    The foamer is brilliant too.

I had the mobi v17 before this.
The worx is much more powerful.

    I have used on slabs/patio.
It does work! Best to use 15 or 20 deg settings and then the 40 to move dirt away.
    Just don’t expect mains power.

Great for bicycles and my wheelie bins too.

Can not fault this product one bit.

I’ve also purchased the worx shears since. Now I’ve got two batteries if I ever get caught short on power.

Battery sharing is another great feature and all products feel quality.

Brilliant product. Good power for what it is.

The only downside is the short length of time the battery lasts, especially on full pressure, before needing a long recharge. There is not enough time to carry out all the work in one go.

This portable pressure washer is great for cleaning refuse bins and patio furniture as it saves having to take out my electric pressure washer and hose. Obviously the pressure isn’t the same as an electric one but it does do a decent job. It is quick and easy to use and basically anyone can use it. I haven’t used it on the car yet but I certainly can see the benefit of using it in the winter months. The battery that comes with it is adequate but I invested in the larger one also so that I always have one ready on case I need it. All in all I am quite impressed by this portable pressure washer and can also see myself using it to clean the windows too.

very easy to use, not the most powerful jet ever but is battery powered. one charge fully soaped , brushed and rinsed my large mpv . on the narrowest jet setting it actually removed ground in dirt from the wheels. overall i would say that i am pleased with the product and i,m glad i purchased it.

Good as a pre contact wash to loosen dirt and for removing bird poo, but it will not clean your car on its own. Just powerful enough to give a good rinse but will not remove dirt on its own. Use as part of a full wash cycle and it is a good aid.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI had been contemplating buying the hydroshot for a while but some of the reviews on here did actually put me off a little. The recent spell of good weather and having 3 dirty cars on my drive encouraged me to take the plunge and buy it. I’m glad I did and i’m not sure where some of the negative reviews i’ve seen are coming from. A bit of common sense suggests that this is not going to be as powerful as some mains connected pressure washers, and it certainly isn’t. That said, it is definitely a LOT more powerful than any hosepipe i have ever used and probably something similar to an entry level mains connected pressure washer.

The reason I required a cordless pressure washer is because I live in a rented house with no outside tap/ hose pipe so the ability to use a bucket of water as the water source is ideal. Also, the fact that it dismantles down to a small compact size means I can store it in a cupboard which is useful as I don’t have any outside storage. For the price, there isn’t anything else that fits my criteria.

I opted for the full kit which includes a detergent bottle and brush attachment amongst other things. The detergent bottle is good and provides a decent covering on the car as shown in my video. The brush, however, does feel a little flimsy when it is attached to the hydroshot so I have found myself just using it as an ordinary brush disconnected from the hydroshot.

My only other gripe with the hydroshot is with the plastic clip that holds the hose to the bucket. It doesn’t seem to have a very good hold on the hose so it just keeps popping out of the clip, which gets a bit tedious after having to re-attach it every 30 seconds. I’m sure i’ll be able to find something to solve this issue though.

Overall I think that the hydroshot is a very capable and useful portable pressure washer. If you don’t have outside access to either power or a water tap like me then I would definitely recommend it. If you are expecting it to be a replacement for your current mains connected pressure washer, then you are probably going to be a bit disappointed.

    Surprisingly good!

I love Worx cordless tools! I bought this as ordinary pressure washers drive me crazy – tangling the hosepipe, electric cable & the wand hose altogether all the time. This is so easy to use, very lightweight, and for me the whole point about Worx cordless tools is that you can just pick up and go (as long as your battery is charged – I keep 2 on the go so I can switch if one runs out).
I was worried that it might not be powerful enough to really clean anything, and whilst it’s true that it is not as powerful as a corded machine, it certainly cleans really effectively, even stained block paving. I find that because it’s so easy to use I do the chores more often, thereby not needing such a heavy-duty clean in one go. It seems economical on water, and you can achieve a worthwhile clean with just a watering can full of water. It also works really well when connected to a normal mains hosepipe, and I found the connectors to be totally watertight, unlike my 2 corded pressure washers, which both spout water at the connection point the whole time. I really don’t regret buying this – will probably buy another to use elsewhere.

his is great for a quick wash of your bike car caravan when its only needs a spruce up. don,t expect full on power like an electric one but it does give more than enough power to get rid of dirt and mud.
great for those days out on the bike in the mud and wash off before you get home.

Overall really impressed with this – very portable and adaptable. A longer battery life would be an improvement – additional more powerful batteries are quite expensive, so it would have been better if a longer life one supplied, but this would increase the cost.

Bought this puppy a week ago and its absolutely great. Powerful enough to clean rust of drain in garden and strong enough to wash dirt off brick walls and concrete floor. really love it and so light to carry. ONLY DOWNSIDE the battery doesnt last long and takes a long time charge, approx 3 hours to fully charge for about 45min use. however just found a fast charger on amazon.

other than that, im super happy and worth every penny.

One of the few times I have been more than pleasantly surprised. A fun tool to use which delivers better than expected results. For the size of the pump it delivers a constant useful pressure that will help clean even heavy dirt from most surfaces without risking damage to vehicle paint finishes or softer surfaces. Ideal if you don’t have access to an exterior water supply. Just use a container and insert the pipe. Can be used for many functions including watering the garden. Highly recommended for anyone interested in keeping their cars clean.

I got this as a replacement for the Mobi v17 I’ve been using for the last 18 months. I’m impressed so far, the pressure is quite a bit higher than the mobi, and the build quality just feels better. Dont go in expecting full on jet wash dirt stripping power and you’ll be pleasantly surprised, it does get close though. I’m happy that the power isn’t too high, it’ll be kinder on mountain bike bearings than a large pressure washer.
This morning I washed 2 cars and the 2.0 Ah battery was just running out of juice as I finished the second. I’d guess that was using around 33l if water. I did use a brush and bucket to clean things, the jet wash was for pre wetting and then rinsing. I did try just using the pressure washer to shift the dirt on the wheels and it was quite good on the 15 setting at stripping the road grime off.
All in all, this is better than the Mobi v17 by some margin.

What an excellent little power washer. Great if you just want to spruce your car up. The little folding bucket is great but I would also get a cheap plastic bucket to top water up with or you will be back and for to the tap. Pressure from the built in pump is good. But connect it to a hose pipe fed at mains water pressure and it gives excellent results. Battery life is also very good, however the brush attachment isn’t much use but the soap dispenser attachment is excellent.

The Hydroshot is perfect for when you need to clean something with ease. It’s not as powerful as a normal plug-in pressure washer but is far more convenient to use. Convenience is where this tool wins the points. It’s very portable too. I have only used it to clean the car so far and it does provide effective cleaning. From the 2AH battery is comes with I was able to pre-wash, snowfoam and rinse the car down after sponge washing.

The power share concept means you can add bigger batteries to your collection too.

I read a lot of reviews about this and decided to purchase the more powerful battery a 4.0Ah.
Works well, had to do my car twice but the patio only once. Initially took a while to suck the water through the system.
But found that if you do this on the ground the water was sucked no problem. Would recommend.

Bought this to keep in the van to clean my mountain bikes after going out riding. You need to take your water with you, but I find I use about 5ltr per wash and I have a 25ltr water container. The pressure is never going to strip paint or remove really caked on dried gunk but it rinses and washes very well when I finish my ride, the different spray patterns are useful and easily changed. It’s easy to set up, break down and changed lance size and it doesn’t make a mess if you empty the hose properly (Just keep running the washer after removing the hose from the water and hey presto). Not sure about battery life yet as only used it a couple of times, but it takes around 3 hrs for a full charge from empty. The battery also has a handy press button level indicator on it too. In all I only marked it down a star for price, as it could do with being 20 cheaper. I suppose it will be once there’s more competition. All in all, it’s a good compact mobile washer, for small jobs.

I liked how easy it was to set up and use – I had watched a few online videos so I’d got the general idea before it arrived. Its first job was on my fold-away golf trolley which had dried mud and grime on the wheels and in lots of nooks and crannies. No contest! The trolley was immaculate in less than five minutes. I had sprayed it with household detergent first but it wouldn’t have been essential. This will also be superb for doing the car and under the wheel arches. Glad I got this. It isn’t an all powerful pressure washer if that’s what people need but it feels well made with good quality accessories.

This product is for general use car, house windows patio or any thing you want in general, not a bad item . Battery lasts to a certain degree as the more you use the quicker the power drains. Forget at the moment but I think you get two batteries. You can buy other parts for the power spray, it would have been nice to have had the detergent bottle included in the package. You can still make suds by mixing your soap solution in water before adding the sucktion tube into the water. it can use a bucket of water quite quick so check at intervals so it does’t run out. When first trying out for the first time it takes a little time for the water to come through, so give it time to start working. The nozzle at the front of the gun can be rotated to suit your needs giving veraing power feeds, not as powerful as the kacher but still a all round washer power gun.

Even though this is not as powerful as the mains equivalent, which is to be expected, the convenience of not having to be connected to mains water and electricity, far outweighs the reduction of power. I always found it difficult to wash my car with the Karcher due to the positioning of water and electricity supplies, but with this the car can be washed whatever its position. This is a great purchase.

OK, so the pressure and flow rate could be better. I got it for washing my mtb out of the mud at the end of the trail. For this it is great. The battery is good enough to clean a moderately dirty estate or two muddy bikes. The bucket is great and I have no issue with the clip, also the shampoo bottle is great. Brush idea I do not understand. I do wish it was cheaper. I got a bottle attachment, it takes 4 litres to clean a bike. It takes two buckets to clean a car and with it I can use warm water. I like the battery charge indicator.

To wash my car I can fill a barrel from my water butt, so saving water also, it rinsed the car well but struggles with stubborn bird poo ECT, so still used brush. I used 12L of water in this unit to wash a car so wouldn’t bother with small bottles as will empty that too quickly to wash anything really. So overall I am pleased as no risk of hoses through my house and love saving the water also by using from water butt.. as an off grid washer its good but wont replace a mains water and electric pressure washer at all.

So overall I am pleased as no risk of hoses through my house and love saving the water also by using from water butt.. as an off grid washer its good but wont replace a mains water and electric pressure washer at all.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI really love this for washing the car when space is tight, no piped water, and no electricity. You can’t go wrong! I tried it out today. One battery charge was enough to do the wheels on very high pressure. Charged it up again and just did the whole car. So, I`ve bought another battery. Should be good to do my coupe.
It` does`t pretend to be a “Pressure Washer”.
It`s just great. You know how much water you`re using…. if you`re on a Metre. Just take the buckets out!
I`ve had pressure washers before……really difficult to use ….omg….by the time you have assembled the electricity, with extension cable, then taken out the hose and attached it to the water supply……. I lost the will to live….it all got tangled round the car. Not nice when its minus something in Scotland!!
    This is great!

    NO cables!

This unit equates to having high power water hose access, literally anywhere, without the need for mains electricity or a mains water supply. Charge the battery, fill a bucket or soda bottle with water, and wham…you have a jet washer…any place any time. The pressure output is not a match for the high power mains operated units….but if you require a unit that can deliver up to ten times the pressure of a conventional garden hose, this is the unit for you. Really well engineered nozzle…just what I was looking for to clean my car and the outside of the house. A++++++++

I purchased this on a whim (when it was on offer) as I was fed-up with faffing about setting up my pressure-washer every time I wanted to clean my car or motorbike. A great addition to any garage, easy to set-up and use. I can snow-foam, wash and rinse my car on one charge of the 2.0Ah battery with enough left-over to wash the suds of my driveway (approx. 4hrs to re-charge). The collapsible bucket is just the right size to carry and will only need filling 2-3 times per car.
Sturdy enough to take the odd knock or being dropped, my only suggestion would be to either purchase an additional battery or go for the 4.0Ah version as this will give you plenty enough charge to maybe do a regular sized patio or decking. However, if you just want something for small jobs without the fuss of hoses and extension leads then you could do worse! It came with a mesh carry bag with makes it totally portable, I often take mine down to jet the saltwater off my dinghy after a sail.

As in the title, after first use I was sure I’m going to return it, mostly due to lack of preassure and buy much more powerful corded one.

Next day after bad weather pretty all day it was time to wash it again, took Hydroshot out of the box and 10 minutes later my van was shiny again.

I think I discovered what it was actually designed for! After about 50 washes I simply love it! It is not perfect due to flimsy hose mount to the bucket which jumps out quite often during wash (gonna have to fix it myself). Don’t know if it works better with original bucket as I only have basic version.

After I ceramic coated my panel van I wash it almost daily (its spring now) it takes me about 10-15 minutes and 2 15l buckets (on a quick wash I use only one).

Not sure of battery time as it never run out during wash. I even tried to run it out once by washing my pavement but after a couple of buckets gave up… I fully charge it after every use and only use turbo mode.

It works well with Worx foam cannon (avaliable to buy elsewhere).

The gun’s power its adjustable and there are two lengths of the lance – very handy although most preassure is with long extension.
I have to say that there’s enough preassure to wash a car (I had my paint damaged at a car wash previously due to high preassure!).
The gun is pretty light and very portable.

I don’t have a tap in front of my house and was running dirty hose through it previously. I just take a bucket with me.

Now is the best part… I’m having a water catch system installed in front of my house for 25 and will use soft rain water for free!
I already save a lot of money as I was paying at least 15 to wash my van outside only. My van is black and I like to keep it clean so by washing it 3-5 times a week Worx Hydroshot have paid for itself long time ago.

It’s so portible I even planing of taking it with me on holiday.

This is longest review I ever done and hope will help people make right decision.

Worx Hydroshot shot its perfect for washing cars and super portable. If you after a high preassure buy more powerful one.

Overall very happy with the purchase and glad I didn’t return it!

I done a fair amount of research and thought i would give it a try.

The kit is very good and comes with everything you need to get going, other than a full charge of the battery. I was never expecting it to compete with a powered pressure washer, but i did expect a marked improvement over the standard hose pipe…….i was wrong, the increase is marginal.

I gave it a try on my lightly soiled car and it seemed like a huge amount of effort to remove the surface layer. I tried the various lances and settings but no real difference.

In the end i gave up and resorted to the garden hose and a sponge.

I really wanted it to work well, but it didnt meet my expectations, maybe a higher voltage would increase pressure, i’m not sure. The worx range is a sound idea, but i do believe in this area, its certainly not a jack of all trades!

Nice and convenient, easy to use pressure washer. I agree with the reviews that the battery doesn’t last an awful long time but I can snow foam spray my whole car and pressure hose it down after on one full charge. Would consider buying the larger battey but I don’t quite have the need for it and I also would end up spending my entire day washing random stuff in the garden! I suggest buying and trying before getting the extra battery.

Must be noted it is not as powerful as a conventional pressure washer but neither does it pretend to be.

I read many reviews before purchase many good some bad, most where about lack of pressure, after setting up I found the most likely cause of this lack of pressure, the supplied hose has a filter on the end which you put into your bucket or whatever water supply you have chosen, I found that this caused the end of the hose to float (often above the waterline) so I have attached a small weight to the end (fishing weight or similar) now all is good and I have a good pressure at least until water supply comes to an end. A good quality tool and has already proved useful compared to a large pressure washing machine which is not as mobile and requires tap and electric mains.

As many have said not as good as a mains powerhose, so don’t buy it if that is what you require. However, if you need it just for cleaning your car (actually the lower pressure is a plus here) or general hose down use this is perfect. You don’t have the cumbersome electric power cord wrapping around the seemingly inflexible water hose attached to the power hose machine. You only need a bucket to take as your water source anywhere you need it. Why 4 star cannot comment on durability.

We have the normal Karcher jet washer in the shed but it can be a bit of a faff to set up just for a small job (like washing out the wheelie bins) so this is excellent. I bought the larger capacity battery and it last for absolutely ages. I also bought the “pop bottle” connector. This enables you to fill a 2 litre plastic pop bottle with water and wash using just that. The water pressure isn’t as high as the Karcher but its good enough for many jobs. The collapsible bucket and hose work very well. I am very happy with my Hydroshot which I have now had for a few months.

Customer support was absolute fantastic, no call waiting , clear and concise and understand their own products. Hubby said Worx will be his tools for life..

As for the Hydroshot He loves it for his building maintenance, lightweight for getting up ladders (goes where pigeons leave there droppings). Third of the power of a cable Jetwasher so windows can be cleaned without cracking and paint flying off surrounds..

As for home use , vehicles cleaned in minutes as you don`t need to unravel long hose pipe and trailing power lead, even stands at back door and waters the plants and lawn with the low nozzle setting..

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI received mine with a missing soap bottle, but amazon as always were very helpful and tried to source a replacement but could not and instead gave me discount twards my next order to the value of the missing soap bottle.. THANK YOU!!
Now as to the item in question….There have been a few mixed reviews regarding this item…. And I can understand why..
If you expect it to be like a normal pressure cleaner then you will be disappointed.. especially when using water from the bucket. But thats to be expected, if you think otherwise then again you will be disappointed..
BUT if you understand that it is a handy portable low pressure cleaner for light work that you can use anywhere where there is no mains tap then it is a ideal little gadget for cleaning rinsing your car, motor bike, patio etc….
Also please keep in mind to those that said it worked fine then pressure dropped and was not working properly… There is a small filter in the gun itself.. where the hose attaches to the gun… unscrew the orange connector and inside there is a filter… which can block up easy as it did to me..just remove the small disc filter and rinse it and all be ok again. as the with the filter on the end of hose that goes into bucket… clean regularly… for me its ideal and handy… I RECOMMEND IT!

Great little pressure washer for waxing cars etc ,but do recommend purchasing the soap bottle to go with it (9-99).
2 settings high and low pressure ,I use it on high pressure on the car ,and it does a great job, probably use about half a bucket of water ,very economical.
Saves dragging the hose out ,then the bucket, and rinsing off ,I find it easy work to use ,I would recommend it ,battery probably lasts about 15-20 minutes .price has gone up since I purchased it !!!!

bought product for boat cleaning. glad I bought extra battery. 2 batteries lasted long enough to remove winter grime and algae from 30ft cruiser. standard nozzle worked best. rotating nozzle useless. not as powerful as mains powered, but did the job. very handy to be able to trail inlet hose in water around boat – no hosepipe or mains lead to trip over. best to spray with foam first and brush in.

    Bang on for my needs.

I’ve not got a patio so one of the “normal” pressure washers work but I don’t really need that power and it can damage paintwork and bearings (on bikes) so this portable unit is ideal.

It has enough pressure to remove dirt from a car but not enough to damage bearings on the bike, winner. The fact that it’s battery operated is ideal for mountain bikers who drive to a trail get dirty and can at least wash the bike before going home.

The only complaint is the price, yes you can get a refurbished Karcher K2 for 45-50 but you need a plug and you shouldn’t wash a bike with it.

If you have a patio/block work/drive needing cleaned buy a Karcher.

This works perfectly for my intended use, car washing, garden furniture etc.
If you expect a battery powered item to blast very heavy grime or algae off your patio you may be disappointed.
It’s not under powered but not the one to buy for anything that needs real blasting.
I find it has enough power to clean a months build up on my car with no problems, this isn’t industrial strength IT’S BATTERY POWERED !
I would say if you plan to wash a very large van or clean his and her cars I’d buy the larger battery, mine has never run out washing and rinsing thoroughly but it would not last for a second car or motorcycle.

For a cordless device this is pretty good. It is so easy to get ready, compared to a mains power washer.
However, it can’t equal the output of a mains one, which is usually about 1500 watts – this is more like 250watts, so it takes longer to do a job.
It is really good at cleaning alloy wheels, you just have to spray on a bit of cleaner first. You can also do the whole car, a small area of paving , or a boat deck. Again, it is much better if you use some liquid cleaner, whereas a mains unit’s higher pressure might do the job without it.
Where it really scores is on convenience of use. A bucket of rainwater goes quite a long way, and you can also use hot water if needed. If you get the pop-bottle adaptor, it is completely self -contained – although 2 litres of water doesn’t last very long – very useful if you need to go up a ladder. Because it uses water so economically, you could use it in a drought without getting in trouble; and in winter you don’t finish up with water everywhere like with a mains washer, and you don’t have to worry about getting your mains electric cable wet. You could even use it indoors, if you’re careful, e.g. to clean a shower area. Because it’s so easy to use, I do things “as and when” rather than waiting until it’s worth getting the Karcher connected up.

So like most gadgets, it’s “horses for courses”. A few words of advice: don’t use dirty water, or you’ll have to keep cleaning the filter, which is very small. And get a spare battery, the bigger the better, if you want to keep working with it for very long. I got a 6 Ah one, and I haven’t managed to run it down yet.

Does what it says which is to pump water from a bucket through the nozzle. It is not a jet wash and does not have pressure as such but for washing a car it is fine. I bought the additional 4.0 battery for more power. Washed 2 cars using the soap dispenser and it took 3 black builder buckets of hot tap water per car (1 for prewash and soap foam, 2 for rinsing and wheels). Also washed the engine and wheel arches. It’s portable which is good, the reason I bought it is because all my local hand car wash places are managed by pillocks and poor migrants on 50p per car wage who scratch your paintwork with the zips on their clothing and miss out parts of the car, I’ve had a few arguments with the pimps and decided to wash myself.

I purchased the Hydroshot just as a convenient addition, i was not expecting how easy and versatile to use. so all sorts of items that would be a chore to clean ,are so effortlessly to do,even if a hose supply is not avalible. I did puchace the extra bottle attachment .so even if items only require a quick rinse to wash the dirt away before storing, lawn mower, etc. i ve even taken the Hydorshot in my car to the golf club , to clean my golf trolley before placing back in my car…..over all i am amazed how much i do use the Hydoshot.

A little expensive but this is a fine pressure washer with decent power. I bought it to clean my golf trolley of mud during the winter muddy months. Bought a 5 litre jerrycan for this job. Haven’t used it for that yet but have used for other things and I am impressed. Battery only lasts about 15 – 20 minutes before needing a recharge, however that is plenty of time to do what it was bought for. Probably enough time to wash the car thoroughly too. Adjustable pressure speeds so can also be used to wash off muddy pets after their walks. Recommended.

Golden Review Award: 30 From Our UsersHaving read the reviews, most were about washing cars and bikes. I used it today to wash our Goldie after a beach walk.
If you have a dog that loves mud and water, then this is a really useful addition to carry in the car. The beauty of this is that the pressure is high enough to wash the mutt down, with hurting them. Certainly the plant watering setting can be used on the head. I found the 40 degree angle setting idea for washing him down.
It won’t remove everything, but certainly makes him more presentable to take home!

    Brilliant for washing muddy dog!

This is great for those small jobs all around the place. Washing your car to washing down the conservatory and then for path ways. It comes with a bottle to put car shampoo or patio cleaner in to help lift the dirt on low pressure. Put it on high pressure and the dirt just falls away. It is what it is, so read the instructions before you make the assumptions.

My van is a sprinter XLWB, costs me 17 to get it washed at my local wash place.bought this as I was spending 17 every week. after brooming with my telescopic soapy broom, all I need is my worx to wash the soap.bucket of 20L clean water to rinse just leaves 1 bar battery left with all water gone that’s exactly 18mins at full power.
After 6 washes I’ll have got my monies worth,. Power is fine I mean you can’t put a price on practicality, shoots decent.
Only downside if you wash your car make sure total run time doesn’t exceed 20mins otherwise you’ll find yourself with a dead battery and still a half-washed car.

If you need a portable pressure washer for light to medium tasks, then this is perfect. Washing cars, cycles, etc are ideal use cases. I used it on a bike and my car and happily got 30+ mins of run time. However, if you’re looking to clean your patio or driveway, then this isn’t really the right tool for that job. In tests, it is indeed powerful enough to clean the bricks and slabs, but the battery will not last the whole job. Better off going for a mains-powered pressure washer on those occasions.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersIf you buy this thinking you can blow paint off a panel or clear a large house of lichen then you are going to be disappointed and should go for a mains-driven, mains water-supplied power washer by Karcher or similar. If you have no water or electricity supply, the area you want to clean is smaller, and you are happy to take a little bit longer then this is for you. I received it this morning, charged the battery (it took about three and a half hours from flat, probably be much quicker from only part-discharged) and proceeded to my garden to clean the floor of my rabbit run. Chucked the hose into a nearby water butt and started; I finished a three metre by one metre run in about ten minutes. It was so much quicker and easier than a bucket and a stiff brush and was very economical with the water.

Try to keep the washer going as it takes a good moment to pick up the pressure again after stopping with a full hose.

All-in-all this serves my purposes admirably and I am pleased with my purchase.

Golden Review Award: 42 From Our UsersNOTE: I HAVE GIVEN THIS EQUIPMENT 5 STARS ONLY BECAUSE IT DOES THE JOB I BOUGHT IT FOR.
If I were to use this pressure washer for cleaning the car, even at maximum pressure I would rate it as 2 stars. It DOES NOT get the muck off even when pre-treating car with a traffic film remover.
If I were to use this pressure washer for cleaning paths, drives and patios I would, if it were possible, give it a negative rating. It didn’t do anything but wash the loose dust off my patio. The ground in dirt remained even after treating with a proprietary path/drive cleaner first. I understand there is a nozzle which can be fitted to give a similar effect to a well known ‘dirt blaster’ but I do not have one so cannot comment.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersHad this cordless washer for a little while and so far used it to clean my shed roof, refuse bins and of course my cars. I can honestly say that it is pretty true to its own marketing write up. Doesn’t replace the jet power washer, use it for jet washing lighter cleaning jobs. If access to hosed water source is not possible and connecting to mains is unavailable , this tool is perfect . Cleaning a medium sized car I’ve used approx 2 ten litre buckets of water! That’s to initially to wet the car/ foam the car with a foam dispenser bottle/ then rinse off. The pressure to clean a car is quite adequate . So much easier than sponging the car etc. Reckon I can wash 2 medium sized cars on one full charge of the battery. The only gripe is that you better have all the water you’ll need for your job at hand, otherwise you’ll be going back and forth to the tap to fill the bucket , and that’s irritating. Learnt that on my first few jobs !!! Happy shopping

If, on the other hand, you are after a portable, capable and versatile machine for washing your car, motorhome, boat, caravan, motorcycle etc without ready access to a mains water supply or power source, then this may well be as perfect for you as it s for me.
I bought the standard Hydroshot without all the accessories as there were several I wouldn’t have used, instead choosing to buy the soap bottle accessory, the 4.0ah battery and a fast charger instead.
Charging with the regular charger is a fairly slow process, even with the regular 2ah battery supplied, but once fully charged I found it was sufficient to rinse, soap and then rinse off the car. Pressure using the finest nozzle setting was good enough to get most heavy deposits off. On with the soap bottle and I covered the car in a layer of snow foam; whilst this didn’t produce a thick mass of foam like you’d get with something like a Karcher mains powered model, it still covered the car in a satisfying and efficient layer of foam. Rinsing off was a piece of cake and there was still life left in the battery.
I’ve since used it to wash our motorhome from top to bottom, thoroughly clean my motorcycle and various jobs around the home. Although I have a nice Karcher in the garage, I find that I’m using it less and less. The Hydroshot isn’t so powerful that it’s going to cause damage to the motorhome, force water under window seals or blast grease from the motorcycle bearings. It packs down small enough that I can take it anywhere and use safely on almost anything.
In short, I love it and I’d not want to be without one again.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI am really pleased with the performance of this product. I read various reviews before purchase as I have no access to water so I was interested to know how this product worked drawing water from a bucket for example. The pressure of water jet produced was good. I primarmily want this product for car cleaning and for this it performs well. For other pressure washing jobs I can’t comment. I did purchase the 4ah battery as well as the battery supplied does limit run time to about 30 minutes

Good for light use! it isnt powerful enough to clean patios or decking but does a good job on cars / motorbikes / Push bikes etc. Very easy to use and great accessories. I bought to use on my dirt bikes after track days before loading them and it works just fine.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Users4 stars so far. Will update in a few months time. Read the reviews of all the previous purchasers. They have it well covered. Great for cars and motorbikes (which had been my intended use). Battery takes a while to charge from new but lasts well. Batteries/charger can be used with other Worx products (hedge trimmers, chainsaws, mowers, etc.). Ideal for my needs as I ride a bike all year round. NOTE: that the max inlet pressure is 0.5 barg. Average water pressure in our neck of the woods is 1 barg at the property boundary.

Golden Review Award: 129 From Our UsersI was a bit sceptical about buying this product but I watched numerous You tube video’s with the mixed reaction they were giving in the end I thought the only way to find out if this product would do what you want is to buy one and find out all I wanted it for was to wash my Peugeot Partner and general window cleaning etc I think the standard battery is a bit limited so I purchased 2 x 20v 4ah Batteries and it makes all the difference you are not worried about the battery running out before you are finished and I do believe that the larger battery gives thr Hydroshot a bit more power the foaming attachment works great with either a little washing up liquid mixed with water for the window’s or snow foam for the car the short and long lance work well but I think the brush is a little to soft I have not used the Folding bucket the Clip provided for holding the hose in the bucket keep’s on coming off so I purchased a small spring clamp from Wilkinsons for a 1 and that works far better just keep 2 buckets of water available I am really pleased with the purchase the Variable spray patterns are great and handy from a spot water shot to a nice soft water broom pattern if like me you were a little sceptical don’t be buy it and try it youself not a cheap option with the added batteries agreed but good if you have no water supply close to where you want to work and also to have a portable put in the boot of the car option I hope this review help’s others to make up there mind about the Great Worx Hydroshot.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersCan’t get hose out to my car so this is a brilliant product.
It does not have the power of a pressure washer (doesn’t claim to be one)but it does have good enough pressure for rinsing my car which is what I bought it for.
    Very happy with purchase.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersWhat an amazing bit of kit. I have a penthouse appartment and unfortunately can’t run a pressure washer for car/Camper/motorcycle cleaning. This solved the issue. Draws water from anywhere, produces a sensible pressure for automotive work, not so strong that it can damage paintwork like a mains power washer.
Combined with the snow foam attachment it is an amazing cleaning tool.
It is perfect when away from home too, ideal for the camper or giving the bike a proper clean after track sessions

    Amazing

Golden Review Award: 46 From Our UsersExcellent, very glad that I purchased this item. Very versatile. Perfect for cleaning the car and worked superbly dispensing the snow foam using the accessory bottle. My only problem has been trying to register the extended 3 year warranty. Worx UK initially would not accept my Gmail address as valid. I had to register the 3 year warranty with Worx USA (who would accept my Gmail address? But probably not valid?). But at least I’m on Worx records. I finally got Worx UK to accept my Gmail address and register my warranty but only after the 30 day period for the extended 3 year warranty had expired! So they have only given me the standard 2 year warranty. But I will persu this further. You cannot register the item without the serial number, which you can’t find until you receive the item. Worx use date of purchase for warranty registration, but they should take into consideration dispatch and delivery dates. Part of my order has only recently been dispatched, well beyond the 30 day registration period already !

Golden Review Award: 411 From Our UsersMen are a funny lot aren’t we…dont need a map I know where we are going and didn’t read the instructions the later being the case with the worx hydrology!
So having excitedly unpacked this box of awesomeness I hurriedly ran outside to wash the car.
As the tension built as the water slowly ran towards the spray gun from my bucket of water you could cut the excitement in the air with a bread knife..then like a drunken Romeo after a Friday night out the excitement gave way to disappointment as a pathetic spray erupted from the nossel.
What???? This is crap..but hang on there were great reviews what had I missed ???
A quick YouTube search and there it was…push the HIGH POWERE BUTTON!!!
BOOM A JET AS POWERFUL AS NIAGRA FALLS CAME SQURITING FROM THE HYDROSHOT!!!
BRILLIANT so a clean car, gutters and caravan have ensued since getting it.
It’s not going to be as strong as a main power washer but then it’s not meant to be.
All in all 9/10 for an easy to use versatile jet wash….REMEMBER TO PUSH THE HIGH POWER BUTTON WHEN YOU USE IT
Attached photo of my newly washed car! See other reviews to see what polish I used. Hope this review helps and have a fab day

IF YOU READ ONLY ONE REVIEW READ THIS/USE THE POWER BUTTON!!!

Happy overall with the hydroshot, it is powerful enough for most applications, although, as it states, it will not do heavy duty cleaning. My only complaint is the 20V 2.0AH battery that is included, takes a long time to charge and will only last for about 20 mins of continuous use. I have now bought the worx 20v 4.0AH battery and this seems to last a lot longer.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersGreat bit of kit if, like me, you don’t have an outside water supply on the mains. Comes with all the bits you need to do almost everything I wanted it for. (Mainly cleaning my car and window frames). Not as powerful as I had hoped and on high pressure setting it gets through water rather quickly, which is a pain as my nearest supply means I have to take it all back into the house whilst I fill the bucket again. Overall though I would recommend it for jobs not too tough or too long.

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersThis power washer is not as powerful as some of the mains operated models on the market, but this is out-weighed by its compactness and convenience. It is battery operated and can, therefore, be used anywhere. It can be used connected to a mains water supply, but the best part is that it can be used with water from a bucket or even from a pop bottle, with the optional connecter and tube. Optional add-ons are also available, such as a spray/squeegee and a turbo nozzle to increase the cleaning power of the water jet. An extremely versatile machine and one which I wouldn’t like to be without.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersI bought this recently to wash the car as i get back ache doing it all by hand now and i must say i am very impressed with it. It’s never going to be as powerful as a plug in electric one as it’s only run off a battery but it does have 2 settings and it’s completely portable and that’s where it’s usage comes in. It took me approximately a quarter of the time to wash the car compared to the old bucket and sponge etc. A quick wipe down with a chamois leather and job done. I went for a plastic fold down bucket from a different seller and that would hold 20 ltrs. I only half filled it and i still had some water left over at the end.
I will certainly be taking it on our touring holiday as all i need is a charged up battery, somewhere to fill the bucket and away i go. Anywhere at any time.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis works (WORX? :-)) well and while expensive is the only one on the market of its type; the accessories are useful and it comes with a handy carry bag to put everything in. I would recommend getting a second battery as they do take quite a long time to charge. This washer is particularly useful if you need a greater pressure than a normal hosepipe but not the pressure you get from a mains power/water washer so good for things that could be damaged by too high a pressure.
