After 2k20, I was fully expecting this to be another mess. By the dev team have managed to pull it back and this one is actually quite fun. Nothing revolutionary to speak of in this game as it still uses a lot of the same stuff that previous games did but it’s definitely an improvement from their last game. Not that that says much.
It tends to exit to the dashboard of the console every other session without prompt and doesn’t ever give the option for quick resume. I should probably mention this only happens in the MyRise game mode as that’s all I’ve played since getting the game.
I will start with the issues
X box series x version
Loading times are ridiculously long
Graphics are not great for something that was supposedly made from the ground up
Sometimes it can feel like you get stuck and can’t do any move and will just get spam attacked while you wait patiently to get an opportunity for reversal
The career mode can be a little tedious and poorly acted/voiced
The good
Lots of game modes
Lots of cool environments
Lots of cool wrestlers and awesome moves
This really is a trip back to childhood 90s and early 2000s where wrestling games were some of the funnest games to play with friends
If they can iron out the issues, this could be the start of great things

Fantastic entertainment for fans of WWE, well worth the money with so many game modes and characters to play with.
