Well worth the money.
Did not buy for myself but for sister in law but checked it out and would be easy to install and definitely value for money.

Very Happy with Purchase
I put easy to install but I actually bought magnetic pads rather than use the screws that go into the wall.
Purchased as a replacement after existing alarm died. Read reviews on several alameda settled on this one. After all it’s only a smoke detector.
Just the job
Easy to install, long battery life hopefully and great value for money. Not many allow you to install on a wall instead of ceiling, this one does, so no additional drilling needed, replaced where old door bell chimes was!

I purchased this to replace simular unit that has started beeping after it long life battry is giving up after about five years. I purchased these as they have a ‘snooze’ button to cancel the alarm when they get triggered incorrectly. For thos who are wondering, the old ones would go off from time to time after things in the grill spitting onto the grill heating ellement.

Lifetime Battery
Very easily installed. I used a self adhesive magnetic holder. Lifetime battery. When the device needs replaced, the battery should expire at roughly the same time.

Purchased three of these alarms to replace old ones that were passed their operational dates. I found them very easy to install and the 10 year battery life gives peace of mind. Perhaps a little note for diy people to say. Allow a 10 degree anti clockwise from horizontal on the left hand hole when drilling the wall for the base fitting. To compensate for the clockwise movement when locking of the device to avoid the logo being off centre.
I have stared the battery as it has a ten life; as I have only installed it have to wait ten years before I know if the battery is as good as advertised.

Very easy to fit and feels like a solid high quality product. Alarm sound is very penetrating- which is how it should be.
Replaced old ones. No annoying battery change. Used easy fitting magnetic plate given area when removing older one had damaged ceiling and no issues.
Oh so easy to fit. 10 year battery preinstalled!!! Company supplying contacted me to see if everything if OK. Superb quality.

I bought this to replace my landlord old alarm that just stopped working..this new alarm is really loud which is great but it picks up my vape so seems to be very sensitive if I take 3 big cloud vapes then it triggers the alarm so for me being a vaper it’s not so good but I’ve placed it upstairs where I rarely vape that being said if it is as sensitive as it seems then it should be really good for the job it’s intended for touch wood I’ll never know

Appears to be well constructed and offered at a good price by comparison with others online……….also well packaged and fast delivery.
TIP………use only the mounting screws supplied as they are countersunk to avoid fouling when the body is turned when joining the two parts.
Easy to install, tested with smoke and it detects well and fairly to reset. Good value for money and hopefully it should last a number of years.

I’ve had a problem with a smoke alarm going off randomly for no reason, so got this to replace it. It looks simple enough to install (not handy myself so will get my landlord to put it up).
The battery will last 10 years, apparently, so that’s good.
Downside is I think I’ll need to buy a new alarm after that, though, as I don’t think it’s possible to change the battery.
But it’s 10 years, so no problem.

Well constructed and so useful
Bought for my elderly parents and I wouldn’t take a risk with them. Very easy to install and as it has a battery life of 10 years you can leave it alone apart from the occasional test to see all is still working. Second one I have bought and I would recommend this smoke alarm.

(1*) I bought two of these a year ago and one has started to beep loudly three times
Edit (^4*): Having put it back in its holder, it seems to have been alright for the last couple of months, so maybe the malfunction was caused by dust or an insect.

Composto da una base agganciata al sensore con mezzo giro risulta molto comodo il fissaggio con dei semplici tasselli di quest’ultima, una volta fatto ci basta togliere i fermetti dalla base che andranno applicati lateralmente al sensore una volta agganciato.
L’intervento dell’allarme puntuale e preciso senza scherzi strani con una potenza del suono non indifferente
Ottima la batteria al litio che garantisce durata ed affidabilit nel tempo in fine caratteristica molto importante la possibilit di silenziare un qualsiasi malfunzionamento dello stesso semplicemente sganciandolo dalla sua base .

Due to the reputation of this alarm I am trusting the reputation of this model as it is fitted to many RV from the factory.

Bought this for a neighbour. Nice quality, and seems OK. Have read reviews about false alarms and poor battery life, but so far cannot fault this.I seems a solid well made unit.

We have had this smoke alarm for less than 6 months battery still working!!

So much so that I had to leave it in another room and buy a fireangel instead (which is a fire alarm I would definitely recommend, if more pricey and so put in my visible areas). However if looks are not your thing then buy this… I knocked a star off for chunkiness otherwise it I’d 5 Star for performance.

This was dead easy to fit – the hole spacing was pretty much the same as the defunct (old, different make) alarm. Unscrew that, screw up this, off we go. The test button works, presumably the alarm will work too.

The item was easy to install (small drilling needed for the ceiling). The smoke detector attaches easily on its base and seems to be efficient. I hope the enbuilt battery will last for the 10 years it is meant to last.

This smoke alarm was very easy to fit and being a non-mains type, there was no problems in having to find a power supply. It was easy to do a Test of the item. So far we have not actually heard the alarm, which is what you want to happen. Can recommend.

No need to replace batteries…just ensure red LED blinking and test regularly. Easy installation and tested with a bit of burnt paper after installation and detected and alarmed as expected.

Good size, looks neat and easy to use. 3M stick on magnets fit well on the back of the alarm avoiding drilling of holes in ceiling or wall.

This unit came with screws and wall plugs to install it, I was too lazy to drill a hole for the wall plug, so reused the hole from the last alarm unit, and use screwed the second screw straight into the celling plaster board, seems to be strong enough to hold this alarm in place, it’s not exactly heavy so I think it will easily stay put for 10+ years.
I used to get a lot of false alarms from cooking with the previous alarm, as it’s in the hall way outside the kitchen door. I have not had a single false alarm from this yet, so fingers crossed it is as effective should the worst happens.
