Nice and easy to use and put up. I bought it for my garage and it works well. It is only on the wall with a couple of screws so a determined person could rip it off but hopefully by that time I would be alerted.

Great Value
A great product and excellent value. Only took ten minutes to install from opening the box to having it up and running. Loud enough to deter an intruder. Thinking of getting another for my garage. The four digits only give a possible 24 combinations. Not a big issue but I would have paid more for a similar model with a greater number of digits (just two more with a six figure code would give a possible 720 combinations) and a louder alarm, although there is a socket to connect an external siren which I will probably get. All things considered, I’m very happy with it and well worth the money. The misses keeps going in to my shed and forgets the alarm is on and it scares the c**p out of her. Very funny!

Very Happy It Stopped Burglers The Other Day
A few days before i wrote this we had a couple of guys break into our garage here in Dublin.
But I had mounted this beside the door disguised into the frame and set it every night before completely locking up.
They got through the wooden door and triggered the alarm and then ran for it and got away.
Nothing got taken so they were probably just scouting the place for something easy but multiple layers of different security including this alarm stopped them.
The alarm is so loud it hurts my ears to stand beside it if it goes off.

Excellent Portable Alarm.
Luckily, I managed to purchase two of these when they went on offer having been looking at them and similar ones for some time. They come in very handy, especially when used in conjunction with wireless driveway alarms as made by the likes of OneByOne.

Great shed alarm. Simple to install and set up. Very easy to use each time. Not sure off battery lifespan yet but haven’t changed them in a few months and it’s used almost daily. One downfall like many others have stated is that is easy to rip off the wall. So like others I built a wooden frame surrounding it making it slightly more secure. Loud enough to spook. Loud enough to stop intruders though?…….

Bought this to replace the last Yale alarm which we’ve had a good few years. So bought another one easy to use does the job what else can you ask for.
Works well
This is the 2nd one I’ve fitted and does the job in the tool shed.
Just ensure it’s fitted where it’s easy to access key pad but not easy to remove easily, such as between 2 rafters.
Easy to operate and while not the ultimate security device, its an additional deterrent if used as part of a multi layer set up.

Very loud (not a complaint)
This is very simple to use. Pop the batteries into it, set your code and press 4 to engage. There’s a warning beep to remind you it’s there when you set it off and it gives you plenty of time to enter your code before the alarm goes off.
If the alarm goes off I can’t hear it inside my double glassed house but it is loud enough to chase off any unwitting trespasser that may have set it off.
A good deterrent and loud!
Easy to use and install. Like some other people I have built a frame around it to make it harder to get at the batteries / remove it from the wall. It is loud enough to be a deterrent and the motion sensor works well. It is a deterrent and a thief would be able to disarm this alarm quickly with a well placed hammer blow.
Excellent alarm for the price
This alarm is excellent value and works well. Once set, it gives a warning beep when you come into the motion sensor range and gives you time to enter the code to stop it going off. I let it go off once to check it did work and it was very loud and could be heard from inside our house.
I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a reasonably priced alarm for their shed of workshop.
Best Alarm for outdoor shed/Garage
I bought this alarm for use in my garden shed as we have an exit from the shed that backs onto a public pathway. Easy to use and set up and you can attach it to the wall or have it free standing and once it is set and detects motion and activates it is extremely loud and we can hear it from inside the house with all doors and windows closed and it being in a shed. would definitely recommend. Bought this purely due to my neighbors shed being broken into. The alarm is very loud but it does take about 10 seconds to start after it’s triggered. If you’re using this to protect bikes I would recommend still chaining them up inside to ensure there’s time for the Alarm to trigger.

I can’t stress this enough but read the instructions before just chucking some batteries into it because as soon as you put them in you need to enter your code. Very easy to fit once you know what you’re doing and is as loud as a screaming banshee once the alarm is triggered. I’ve put mine in my keter shed by using superglue on the rear plate and I’ve had no problems with it at all.

Could do with a few small changes but overall good
Product is great for value but beeps when sensor is tripped giving someone time to find it and break it b4 it alarm sounds. Also alarm does not beep when set so u have know idea if it’s actually set or not. But alarm is fairly loud and works well but could do with some small changes.

Good alarm, but only if it’s boxed in to something secure.
Really good product at a good price.
It’s super loud and easy to set up. Doesn’t seem to go off when it shouldn’t. What I would say is that the method of fixing to the wall isn’t great, one screw through the plastic back, does feel like it could be torn off the wall quite easily and the batteries removed to stop the alarm from sounding. So I boxed mine in with some plywood and screwed that to the wall instead.
Loud simple and works
Easy to install. I understand with 4 numbers the variety of combinations is fewer, but seriously they have 20 seconds to try them all! Feel a lot more secure now with the things in the toolshed.

A good budget alarm for a shed. The locking screw to attach the alarm to the wall mount needs to be redesigned though, as it is very small and awkward to insert.

Purchased for our shed in the garden. Easy to install and set up. Very loud when the alarm sounds. The keypad only has 4 numbers 1-4 so if you prefer a code with numbers above this it won’t be suitable. We are very happy with our purchase.
Really Loud and does the job
I had a rubbish alarm fitter install an alarm that just needed to be de-commissioned while in the lockdown. I bought a number of these so that I could use throughout the house at night so that I felt a bit secure. Easy to use, just add batteries and then input your 4 digit code. Sensor works great and very loud when the go off. I would recommend. I have placed them on services to pick up any movement and they are doing a good job until the lockdown is lifted and I can get my new alarm fitted.
It works
I ordered two alarms to put in two sheds. They arrived intact no damage. I put the batteries in and tested the first one. It was fine. I have put the first on in the shed. Things I do not like. Across all brands they seem to use pathetic sized screws for the battery compartment. They need larger screws with larger screw heads or use a clip in system. The alarm sound is good. Do not need a complicated code 1 2 3 4 and making a combination of the numbers is fine. Works well. Will just have to see how long the batteries last. You can get an ac connection if needed but Yale do not say where to get one from. Overall 5 stars it is robust, a nice size and easy to use. I hate the small screw on battery box. I would order again.

Better than nothing
Simple to mount, activate and deativate with key code. When the alarm goes off its duration is 30sec. I dont know if comes on again. Not as loud as a smoke alarm. I have it in a work shop 30m from the house. The alarm is barely audible in the house. It was bought with the intention of frightening off an intruder. I think it would do that.

It’s not some flimsy rotten old shed you could open by looking at it the wrong way; it’s 4 years old and in perfect condition, not the cheapest one you’d find, and it was secured with multiple bolts, a very heavy duty hasp and staple, a 100+ padlock and a combination keypad lock.
We keep our tools in there amongst all the usual DIY stuff. There was 1000s of portable equipment in there.
The person chewed through the hasp with a bolt cutter (must have taken some real effort!), then ruined the double doors with a pry bar or similar, breaking the bolts on the other side off of the door to gain entry.
Yet nothing was taken. I believe the thief knew what to look for, poked their head in above the door to see the alarm and thought better of setting it off. Definitely worth it as a deterrent even if we do have to pay to fix our poor shed doors now.

The alarm systems that use a sensor stuck on the door/window, that once moved from the alarm system acitvate it, just wouldn’t quite work on my garage door. This Yale alarm, lets me put it anywhere I wan’t. The sound level is loud. At 100db it would be enough to wake you up or irritating enough to put someone off.
You of course need to put this somewhere that would activate it early, which then means its position can also make it obvious. So positioning it well is probably the hardest part.
Something I don’t like about this alarm is that when it’s activated it sends off a loud beep and flashes a red light once. This will happen if everytime you go in to your own shed/garage/lock up which is a nice reminder that you have an alarm to disarm but this feature also tells someone who’s property it isn’t, that there’s an alarm and can also locate where it is from the red light beep. I have put tape over the light area.
I also don’t like that when I enter my code each button beeps loudly. I don’t really want to tell everyone I feel the need to put an alarm in my garage.

This is a simple, easy to install alarm. The timing to get in and out of the shed before the alarm goes off is sufficient. I don’t know if thieves could easily destroy it, but it is important to warn them that it’s there as that fact alone may deter them. Use with good locks and coach bolts on the hinges of the shed.

Yes it works fine and it’s really loud if your anywhere near it when it go’s off good cheap alarm. Reading the other reviews about the small screw on the bottom that holds the cover on. TIP PUT THE SCREW ON THE COVER FIRST ( before you attach to wall )THEN SLIP THE UNIT OVER THE SCREW ON THE WALL. Hope this helps you all .
Helps to give you piece of mind
Very very loud, easy to install, set up and use. The only bad thing is that it beeps when you first trigger the sensor. While this is good if you forget to disarm it, if a burglar was prepared for this kind of alarm, they could smash it before it has a chance to let rip.

This little alarm is one of the est things ive spent money on, i bought this for my garden shed, 12×10 feet it works brilliantly, still cant believe it was only 15 quid, luckily iv never had any intruders but the peace of mind it gives you is brilliant, iv tried and tested it, set the code, wait 30 seconds, open the doors and a warning bleep is emitted, a second movement and the siren goes off with ear piercing noise, its really loud, no intruder will hang about when this goes off, it can also be placed anywhere you want and comes with a fixing kit or can be left to stand on its own, really recommend this.

It is very sensitive. Triggered by the tiniest of motions. It works really well and the siren? is very loud. Only trouble is rushing to switch it off, although it does it itself after a few minutes
Good value alarm
Not quite sure how you rate a shed alarm for ‘warmth’ or ‘sheerness’ so no stars for those ‘features’, but overall pleased with the alarm. Can’t personally say how easy it was to install as my husband did it but based on the absence of swearing, I would say it was pretty straightforward. Think it gives my husband added peace of mind regarding the security of his beloved bikes!
