The cover cap tab for keyhole has broken off. Have to double check to ensure a good click when locking. Otherwise fine. Thanks.
High quality padlock
I chose this padlock as Yale is a trusted brand of high quality products. This padlock is very sturdy. It has a cover that neatly clicks over the keyhole to protect it and keep it weatherproof. Also has rubber flanges to protect the top part of the padlock where the hinged part joins the main body of the padlock. I’m very pleased with this item and would highly recommend it.
Padlocks for shed or garden gates
These three padlocks are good value and are ideal for locking your garden shed or side garden gates. They claim to be weatherproof which they are to an extent but they are not waterproof. Like all padlocks they benefit from a shot of WD40 for equivalent to keep the mechanism working smoothly, an easy maintenance task.
They lock very smoothly and provided they are oiled they also unlock with the same ease. Otherwise I am really pleased and they do the job they were intended for very well.
Seem good quality, sturdy padlocks.
These aren’t particularly cheap but considering the quality, and the fact you get three “keyed-alike” locks from a known brand I think they are probably worth it.
Quality seems good, locking and unlocking is smooth, and there’s a useful rubber collar on the locking bar too, plus a keyhole cap to help keep water out.
Three keyed-alike locks, great for my three gates in the garden, one key fits all. Plenty of keys provided too.
Can’t say how long they’ll last but initial signs look promising, so at this early stage I’ll say RECOMMENDED.
Need regular oiling
I’ve always used Yale locks & have always been happy.
These are a good lock, but the weather seals don’t work properly & the key-hole cover holds the leaked water inside.
I regularly oil the locks & made a drain hole in the key-hole cover to stop them filling up.
Now I’ve done this, they seem ok, but don’t buy them if you want a weatherproof lock.

Great locks
I use these locks for my beach hut. I lost the keys for the previous set and had to have them cut off. The locksmith had great difficulty because they are so strong and he agreed they were very effective. When I had to replace them I knew I wanted the same again. They stand up really well to the sea and salt air conditions as the lock is protected. I like that one key fits all three padlocks. I would definitely recommend these padlocks (and so would the locksmith)

Great quality be aware loop is a little fa
Really good quality. Just one thing to note and that is that the loop has a black covering which is a little soft and makes the loop fatter. There is also a rubber top to where the loop goes into the lock to protect it from the rain. This is all great but it just makes it a little tight to push into a standard shed lock.

Excellent – as usual this Yale padlock is robust and sturdy and is exactly what I wanted for my garden gates.
Très bonne protection de la anse
Cadenas efficace pour verrouiller un antivol d’attelage par exemple, en effet la anse du cadenas est difficilement accessible voir impossible un coupe-boulon ou a une disqueuse/meuleuse lorsque celui-ci est verrouill.
Attention, la course d’ouverture de la anse est de ce fait limit par son carnage de protection.
Muy buena compra
Tened en cuenta que lleva dos topes que son un peln ms anchos, a mi me pasa que tengo que sacar uno para poder sacar el candado. Por lo dems, muy bien, no se estropea nada.
Buen candado pero medida engañosa
El candado esta muy bien, cierre de bolas, cuerpo y arco de acero, proteccin contra intemperie perfecta y llave de 5 pitones. Pero sus medidas son engaosas. Me explico: La medida de 60 mm es de la proteccin plstica inferior externa, sin embargo el cuerpo del candado hace 50mm. Lo mismo pasa con el arco, en la descripcin indica 12mm, pero son realmente 9mm. Tenerlo en cuenta a la hora de comprarlo. Por este motivo no le doy las 5 estrellas. En resumen un buen candado para exteriores, de lo mejorcito, y envo Amazon perfecto.
I’d love to give these a 5 star rating, they are great, but… The little boots on the shackle are impractical, they are loose, stop the shackle from going through a bolt hole and come off easily… Too easily. I solved this by removing them. There’s no other way. You then have the issue of skinny exposed metal visible, which does offer the wether protection nor visible deterrent. I solved this buy using black heat shrink tubes intended for electrical connections. The second issue is the caps over the key holes, they just get in the way and make use impractical. Simple solution… Cut them off…
By doing both of these things, I don’t know whether I have effected the weather proofing of the product or the life span… But they were 100% required to make the lock practical.
Having said all that, they look impressive, are a good deterrent, and are the right size… plus+++ they fact that I could get three locks keyed alike is a massive bonus to me. These are a great product, if they sorted those two small issues I’d give 5 stars…
Shoulders can obstruct locking
Good padlock, just make sure the outside of the loop on what you want to lock isn’t to large as the shoulders on the padlock can prevent you from locking it due to them hitting if there isn’t enough clearance.
