This is the second dvd player I have brought from boifun and they work very well. The first one I brought has been running great so I got another to replace a different make that did not last that long . We’ll worth the money and not as expensive as some other makes.
Bought this to take on cruises and like its light weight and screen that swivels.
Has an easy to use remote control
The functions are good like any fixed device including “Last Memory” to pick up where you left off.
A good option is to add lyric files to mp3 music on a memory stick to see them display whilst playing (see video)
Sound is good but has a 3.5 mm AUX output for headphone or mini speaker.
Could not register online but this was quickly resolved by customer services, thanks Jack.
The picture quality is very good, nice and clear and the sound is clear and can have the volume increased considerably. The battery life is good – we got a couple of movies in and the battery still hadn’t fully drained.
This is great for us when travelling away in the car, keeping the kids happy on long journeys, and for us as a family when staying away from home. I recommend it.
Original remote control didn’t work, and customer swiftly replaced with different make, and assured me future DVD’s will have it to. The picture quality is great and the sound is good to.
Excellent size of screen and great that it is able to adjust forward/ back but best feature is the ability to turn screen to sides to minimise glare. Picture quality for portable player is good but the size of screen makes up for any shortfall as its so much easier to watch that smaller screen versions. Cannot comment on battery life or reliability as its still new but so far battery life has been good with the versatility of using on the go then charge later.
The children are delighted to resurrect their old Pe ppa Pig DVDs out the cupboard. Because they hadn’t seen them for the longest time they were glued. The thing is, I was able to get this after owning another one of these previously, which the eldest child took off to UNI with him.
The things that I like most was the car lighter plug, because children watch DVDs for more hours than a battery last. And it did last a decent time, so no complaints.
The second thing I like is the screen flips over as if it is a big tablet computer and although there was no necessity to do that, it has great novelty factor for the children, especially when grown ups have tablet computers to use.
The sound was decent enough, but far getter when plugging headphones in. That makes it into a situation where the parents don’t have to listen to the Shr ek movie again for the seventh time.
What we did do for a laugh, was download some Tv shows onto a usb stick, just to try it, and it worked! However we don’t get a look in, so we have to make do with Pe ppa Pig and Night garden.
I was really impressed by this unit. Great picture quality as well as sound quality. Just what we wanted for our campervan! The suppliers were really quick and helped me register the warranty without any hassle. Definitely recommend
Arrived safely and on time. Great asset when I want to view an instructional DVD alongside working on a job. Also good at relaxation time, when the TV is not convenient, like sitting in the garden or summerhouse with a G & T.
This is a great piece of kit for the price. Picture quality is very good, as is the screen itself, and is easily customisable to suit conditions on the easy to use remote. Would recommend.
I use this product to play DVD’s; I also had old family Photographs transferred from VHS onto disc and am able to view them on this player. Picture and sound quality excellent. Simple to use- added bonus is the remote control.
This was bought for my parents who are in there eighties easy set up easy to use would of had one myself but couldn’t afford to get two but will be looking to purchase next payday
This is so much bigger than my last one I had which is great. So far its ticking all the boxes. I only wanted it for watching a film occasionally in bed. Finding I use it more than I thought I would as it’s so clear and easy to use and the remote is great.
This dvd player works perfectly. Got for the intention of camping and travelling but use it at home too. Perfect for what I want. Would definitely recommend. Worth the money.
Very pleasantly surprised how easy it was to set up, a tssk I was dreading.
Once charged I was watching without fuss.
Charge lasts about 2 full discs.
Good clear picture on a good size screen.
Portable machine, more like small laptop, feels fairly robust.
Very easy to use, stop, change discs and to charge.
Only negative point is the tiny buttons on the very small and quite flimsy remote control.
If you have poor eyesight (like me) or ‘fat fingers’ (like me!) it’s easy to hit the wrong function key.
Other than that it would have been a 5 star review all round from me.

Second mp4 to AVI, again no success
Meanwhile I receive a reply from Biofun with a short but clear explanation of how format. They also suggest I download software from ‘Format Factory’. Suggesting the DVD only support AVI, which is surprising as their page suggests VOB…
Anyway, this worked for me,
search on-line for mp4 to AVI, choose (freeconvert.com)
hit advance option…
In Video Codec – choose, xvid (MPEG4)
In Video Screen Size – choose, 480 x 320 (320p)
Now you can add your video and convert..

Compact and extremely easy to use. The viewing quality is perfect. We are extremely pleased with it.
It was very good all round quality, but not the beat.
The remote control is great and I use this player a lot despite its drawbacks. The ability to swivel the screen is useful if you are trying to watch on a small table in a hotel room for instance.
Sound quality is fine and you can plug speakers in if you need to.

This DVD player is a good size and therefore easy to view. It is built to sit flat with the screen vertical but can also be used flat. It has enabled me to watch videos from my collection that are not available on other media e.g. Sky, Netflix, Prime. It is easy to use and is portable so I am able to use it on my caravan holidays.
Soon as i recieved it i charged it up and played a dvd no problems good picture good sound
Has played a selection of DVD’s and CD’s with no issues. Complete with cable to connect to tv screen if required, although decent size screen to player already. Looks just like a laptop. Great value for money too and great service from Amazon as always. Also comes with a remote control.
I can confirm that this portable DVD is of good quality. It has a lovely large clear screen and it’s easy to navigate. After misplacing the remote control recently, I emailed the Company, they got in touch with me straight away, and they have gone beyond the call of duty to help me. Ordered for my autistic son for Christmas. Unfortunately it did not work when opened on Christmas Day, could only operate using the remote which my son cannot do . Got straight on to the seller and they where brilliant and sent me another next available day (it was Christmas too).

A DVD player that provided a decent picture. It’s drawback is that the sound quality is not very good and I found that it is essential to use headphones. rather like a number of programmes on mainstream TV!!!! It is very easy to set up and use
The player is easy to use and performs well. As I have a hearing problem I wear headphones when using it. My only slight niggle is that the speaker (volume) could be improved.

I’ve only used this once but so far it seems good. It’s a good size and I like that you can move the screen which is very handy when sitting in bed watching a dvd. If I had one criticism I would have liked it to be a bit louder but that’s a small thing as I think it is good value for the price.
Was looking for a big name brand for a Christmas present but it looks like they have stopped making Portable DVD players with bigger screens.
Took a chance on this one as it was reasonably priced and was pleased with the product.
The build quality is good, the picture is good, the sound is OK but plug in headphones and you’re sorted.
This is a high quality product with a large screen and a very good sound system.
Not only can the kids watch films during long travel journeys in the car – this is due to the long battery life, but also their grandparents can enjoy it as they are not hearing very well- and this is due to the clear sound system. Highly recommended.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. Having poor eyesight he did take a while to get to grips with it, now he has he’s quite pleased with it.
It seems great as a remote player, no problems there at all. have a little problem with connecting to the tele , just waiting for the support people to get back to me , probably me dong something wrong
Bought for my 85 year old mum. She is delighted, as it is easy to use (her tv player is too difficult) and the sound is good (as she is hard of hearing). She has arthritis and the push button controls are also easy for her to operate.
Great product for the price! I’ve always struggled with the smaller screen dvd but the size of this screen is excellent for the money just like a wide-screen laptop. Its rotational too. It comes with connectors so I can plug it into my TV too! The battery life is really good. Definitely worth the purchase!
My 95 Yr old father’s sight is diminishing, so can’t use his laptop any more. The DVDplayer is so simple to use, no keyboard to manoeuvre. He loves it.
I often spend hours waiting in the car and decided to try this player so that I didn’t have to have the engine running in order the use the DVD player built-in the dashboard. It does answer to all the requirements. If you turn the screen around, using the remote becomes problematic since the sensor is then pointing away from you. However, with careful positioning the signal of the remote can “bounce” from another surface behind the player to still work.
I bought this for my elderly parents as they wanted to watch old classic movies together . I decided that since I would not be able to visit them in awakes this Christmas, this would be an ideal gift sent via Amazon to their home address. They love it and it will be perfect during the winter months and also fur the fact that they won’t be with the family for the festive season.
I bought the DVD player for a Christmas present at a reasonable price and a quality item. The instructions are easy to follow and explained in great detail. It has a great big screen a quality picture and fantastic volume. It is lightweight and easy to carry and setup and you can purchase a carry case/ bag separately. A great quality product at a reasonable price.
Also his old portable DVD player died so I started to look for a replacement for him.
He seems really happy with the picture quality. You can turn or pivit the screen side to side which makes it easier if you have it placed in a corner out of the way. The headphone input is amazing.
I read one review about the fans being too loud to hear anything. Just plug headphones in and we didn’t notice the fan being very loud on ours.
The price was perfect and the size of the screen that comes with amazing picture quality, there’s a lot to like about this item.

Like other reviews, the remote control did not work when I first received the DVD Player. I emailed [email protected] and a very helpful person named Cici contacted me to check that I was using it correctly. Once I confirmed that I was pointing it at the correct sensor, changed the batteries and tested all the buttons, Cici replied again and arranged for a replacement remote control to be sent to me. It took a couple of weeks to arrive from China but it works fine. Thank you Cici.

So, so lightweight, using for holidays and good value for money
The DVD player is portable yet comes with a screen large enough to enjoy all the action of the DVD being played. Also, from different angles, as it swivels. The sound quality is load enough to be heard in the same room or the one next to it. The remote control unit is easy to use and my preferred way of operating the player. It was useful to be able to play DVDs that would not play on other players. Just take care when removing the protective film from the screen so not to leave any sticky bits behind along the inner edges of the screen.
Bought this in Feb of this year, and was really pleased with it – good screen size, easy controls ( I’ve never used the remote).
Earlier this month, the charging went wonky, it wouldn’t charge while I was playing a DVD, and took ages to recharge.
I got in touch with Boifun, who sent a new charger – took a while to arrive as Amazon were out of stock and they had to send it from their depot. I was sceptical that it would sort out the problem, but amazed when it did!
All back to being a really useful DVD player.
I’ve ordered quite a few other portable DVD players from Amazon and returned them all, as even the ones that claimed to give the option of switching between 16.9 and 4.3, didn’t actually make any difference. This model leaves a blank section of screen left and right and displays 4.3 format in the correct shape, as necessary to view older TV programmes without obviously elongated cars and wide faces.
In my opinion it’s crazy to sell these portable dvd players that only display 16.9. I imagine most people who buy these players are above a certain age, where a large percentage of their collections is in 4.3 format and most younger people don’t buy dvd’s anymore anyway.
This seems more sturdy than my previous amazon portable DVD player, that didn’t last quite as long as I hoped for.
Picture quality on this model is excellent. I haven’t tried out the multi region capability yet but this DVD player seems to suit all my requirements.
It can be charged without mains 240v, run for 6 hours, multi region and as stated earlier, plays both aspect ratios correctly.
* My previous portable DVD player also had an option where it switched from 4.3 to 16.9 automatically as the disc required, but I’m glad just to have this facility at all, even if you do need to change the setting manually every time you need it.
So I would recommend this model on my initial experience of it, but only time will tell how long it’s lifespan will be.

I bought this for my mum after viewing many dvd players, i selected this one for the screen, size and reviews. Iv not seen or used it but she is very happy with it after watching a couple movies, saying the screen and sound quality are good. She was also very excited to learn about the multiple input options. Makes me want to get one for myself tbh 🙂 definitely worth it for 105 (after discount & extra voucher)
Could find no problems with this Dvd player to date. Came with all necessary cables you could need and remote control. Also some good software features.

We bought this 17.5 inch DVD player from Biofun via Amazon after being terribly let down by a 12 inch DVD player we bought from a rival company that every DVD we tried to play either stuck or the picture quality was terrible, when we purchased Biofun 17.5 inch DVD player the picture is clear and crisp and having watched around 6 movies, to date not one disc has stuck and also the volume is excellent having used it in our Motorhome and with the DC adaptor you can play directly off the mains not having to worry about battery life left, also playing CD’s was really great with clear sound and great volume control. Would thoroughly recommend you to buy this product.

I have wanted a dvd player with screen for quite some time now. I came across this one brought it and its brilliant. Light weight good sound quality.
Not bad for the price, a bit clunky, otherwise ok, the picture quality is good.
The downside is the sound, it’s not really great, you have to have the volume up quite high as the motor is noisy, the sound itself is ok, not really in stereo but ok.
All in all, it’s ok
Bought this to use in the motorhome. We have solar panel & invertor so can charge this player and watch 2 movies before needing to recharge. It’s not too heavy, not flimsy or weak.

I researched DVD Players on Youtube before I bought this Player, and of the top 5 best Biofun came top of the list.
I was more than pleased after buying it, and would recommend unreservedly to others.
The size was much bigger than I expected as it is as large as a laptop, but the quality is great and the swivel screen can be folded over the base and can be controlled by the remote control.

We are extremely happy with this portable DVD player. It is just as good as described and we are well impressed. The design and quality of this product is brilliant. And the sound, screen, and picture quality exceeded all expectations.
We purchased the black colour and love the matt finish, as well as looking more stylish, it doesn’t show every fingerprint.

Well what can I say..I’ve used on my 1st camping break since COVID..as regards to the screen,good size but picture isnt very crisp and sharp.i expected better,as the technology nowadays is by far better than 5 years ago lol.its perfectly watchable and does the job.but I was expecting HD quality. Battery lasts ages tho.Would I buy again.?..NO certainly not worth what I paid for it..but I wanted a big screen,I got that..so not all bad..
I’m really happy with my new dvd player and the support service. It arrived very well packed and protected. My son loves to watch movies on it and is a great way to watch movies on the go! I highly recommend it.
This may appear initially a strange review as I ordered this brilliant product and it didn’t work at all. I was frustrated as this was to be a gift. First thought was to return to amazon, however I noticed an email address for boifun to raise issues. Contacting them to say what a disgrace a product arriving that didn’t, the work etc. I received an email next morning apologising with some tips to fix, this didn’t work so replied. Jack from BOIFUN responded immediately stating they would send a new product immediately, apologising on behalf of boifun. Next day via prime (which I don’t subscribe to) a new DVD arrived, works brilliantly, huge screen, so clear and sound is fantastic. …brilliant product. I just want to say what fantastic customer service by boifun but specifically to Jack, this would be a pain missing a birthday gift but thanks to Jack all good.

UPDATED 14TH AUGUST 2021 – I am slightly hard of hearing. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE as although I had not contacted the supplier they read my review and immediately solved the problem by sending me a pair of external Logitech speakers. I can now enjoy DVD’s wherever I go and hear everything clearly.

I love my new portable DVD player. It is an excellent size and has great picture quality. I love the fact that you can watch it anywhere as well as in the car, using the adaptor and can also connect it to your TV. Just brilliant and worth every penny. My grandchildren love it as they can now watch many of the DVD’s that I purchased for their dad years ago, fantastic.
This portable Dvd player offers battery use, car charger, mains use and a large 15inch screen. The player is sleek and in choice of colours, the sound quality is really very good and of course it plays music cd’s. I bought this as a gift for a friend who is recovering from COVID and is stuck in bed most of the day without access to a TV. She absolutely loves it. The screen is far bigger than expected and the quality of playback is excellent. She uses it plugged in so I can’t speak for how long the battery life is. I’m planning on buying another to use when I get the chance to spend time in our family caravan. Great product.
Weight is just over 4lb and it feels really sturdy. Screen moves back and forth and turns and rotates well. The screen can also lay flat in ‘tablet mode’.
As you can see from the photos, it’s a good looking piece of kit, great screen size and all the cables you need to get up and running.

My first dvd was in and running without a hitch ( I do read instructions so it’s important you find the on/off slide button on the side).
It does far more than I need but I wanted the bigger screen and I’m so happy with the clarity of the picture.
You can hear the disc spinning but does not distract when the dvd is playing.
Volume goes from 1-20 and its loud enough, the sound quality is what I would expect and is fine to meet my needs when travelling in the car ( for passengers) and when I play my keep fit DVDs.
5 Stars as I’m pleased with the basic set up and running on unpacking.
Will not be able to rate battery life, additional options or film audio/subtitles and headphone sound/volume until I start to use it in different environments.
No batteries for the remote not a problem. I did not use it to set up what I needed. Remote looks busy lots of buttons!
Mixed reviews almost put me off but I’m glad I bought this portable DVD player.
Remote: wonderful touch. The ability to remain snuggled under my quilt and rewind or pause: great stuff! And there’s many features as the BOIFUN accepts soooo many formats. The USB I used to select pictures for printing was loads simpler on this.
Screen: durable and great size. Hubby’s getting one as he’s a tad jealous of my big 15.6 “.
With being a lil bit of a techno-phobe it’s a great way for me to keep current. I don’t have broadband, it’s too easy to spend loads of time streaming. With my portable dvd player I’m able to remain in control. Put on a dvd. When its finished, no options to watch continuously.

The product is a decent size for replacement TV viewing. It’s accessories allow easy link to the television screen & the remote makes for easy control of the unit. Great buy.
.This DVD player is extremely well presented, the controls are well placed and very easy to operate. The remote is very handy, although I didn’t need to use it much; operating the player as a laptop. All in all, this a great purchase, with picture quality very acceptable. However, things do go wrong sometimes, and not being the most computor savvy person, I feared the worst, I could get no charge and therefore no picture. I contacted Boifun customer service and here i received the most extraordinary service I’ve had from any company. Not only did they put matters right – it happened to be a charger problem – but they replied to my emails in a swift and professional manner; Cici who dealt with me was absolutely wonderful.
I just cannot fault this DVD player; and as for the service I got, it puts many a company to shame.
I will recommend Biofun and will return to deal with them in the future.

We bought 2 of these for our daughters as we take long car journeys and it helps to break up the time with a movie for them. The 2 we had previously were pretty small, had relatively short battery life and were very quiet, even with headphones in. Wow, these are a completely different experience! First of all they are a really good size, the same size as a laptop computer. They also have 6 hours of battery life and the volume is a really good level. So far they seem really sturdy and robust. I also liked that it was clear how to register the device for its warranty.
So we did have an issue with the player but the customer service was amazing and helped me rectify the issue. This is a great bit of kit backed up by amazing customer service.

I love this player. I like the feel of the actual object. I like the sound quality, so much better than my old player.. Being an artist I love that I have control over various aspects of the colour on the screen. The screen size is great because I don’t have a television and my iPad and phone screens are too small to really watch films on. I have also discovered all sorts of other functions like being able to copy disc contents to a pen drive or as card and and a zoom function.

From ordering the product to it arriving at my time took less that 48 hours! The product does not disappoint. Quality of the image is ideal as well as the options to play through a usb and play in the car. This will be coming in handy for camping as well as my nephew sleeping other. It doesn’t weigh loads either.
For the money it’s a real bargain. The remote is small but easy to use.

I purchased this item as I have several tuition DVDs and needed a player to play other regions as well as region 2. As well as a large screen I am delighted with the weight as my small 7″ DVD player is a lot heavier,the picture quality is fantastic. I also found the remote control operated well over 5 metres . It is really easy to use and the picture quality is great. The sound through the inbuilt speakers is a little tinny but as I use earphones this is not an issue. I am not nerdy enough to set a stop-clock going to see if I get the 6 hours viewing time promised, I am happy if I get through a long film without the need to charge.
Despite all this I am happy to give it 5 stars.

One slight criticism is that you have to make sure you aim the remote precisely at the sensor on the player for it to work properly. Otherwise, time will tell but so far so good.

I am very happy with this player because every player I have had prior to this one has been quiet and the tone was not good. This unit is a revelation.
I received it on the next day from when I placed the order with Amazon. I am very pleased with the DVD Player. I have set it up to my visual requirements and sounds. |This was very easy to do. I have watched one or two DVD’s now and wished I had purchased this player before as I can watch a DVD wherever I am because of a good battery time.
I am over 80 and not tec savvy I found instructions not very easy to figure out as the print was very small and the markings on the player very unclear. Got there in the end so up to now all is well
