Made no difference
Made no difference to speed between broadband ADSL modem and motherboard. However, it is a better length than my old CAT5 cable, is much thicker and more rubust and looks cooler, will provide better shielding, and has some future usefulness. So don’t regret it but would have been nice with some sort of measureable improvement!

Good length for going between rooms. Just remember metres as shorter than you think and if you measure a distance add an extra couple of meters for wiggles and pushing the cable out of the way.

Having read some reviews about Cat 7 and 8, I did doubt that this would make a difference, so it was an experiment. I connected my router to my smart TV and was surprised to find a real difference in picture quality. Hence the star rating. Cannot say if this is permanent, but being gold plated it should be long lasting.
First thoughts are positive
Feels good quality and seems decent in use but early days so can’t say much else. Unlike the amazon basic cable it is replacing, it didn’t break when plugging in for first time.
Quality Ethernet cable
I was experiencing drop outs when connecting to the internet wirelessly for video conferencing (despite 62Mbs) so a good old cable plugged into the router was the solution. This cable is well made with solid connections that don’t feel fragile. OK I won’t get CAT 8 speeds but neither does the connection drop any more.

It does what it is supposed to do!
Arrived on the day stated. Product itself looks and feels like a quality product and works well. I have it plugged into my PS4 for online gaming, and using this cable to create a wired connection stops the frame freeze etc I was previously getting through the wifi connection. Job done!

Handy cable that has made connecting my router and tv box easier than with the cable originally supplied with the router.
Premium and expensive looking cable, fits sky hub; google WiFi mesh, Xbox one X and PlayStation 4 Pro without issue.
Cables result in an extra 3MB up and down compared to my old cable; but I’m confident these cables plastic will never break like most other Ethernet cables.

Made with soft strong rubber cable. This was bought as a replacement for a plastic coated cable that had begin to split where it was folded for storage. It appears excellent for the task. Can’t comment on gaming suitability but it gave a good connection for my Open University access.

Cable looks, feels and indeed is of good quality. This was more of a cosmetic upgrade as my old cable was looking some years past it’s sell by date. The cable performs as well as I would expect and there was no loss or gain of internet speed. However, my online games servers now have a settled down ping / latency time which previously on the old cable had somewhat wild fluctuations (From this result, I’d think my old cable was experiencing some packet loss). This information I’ve just provided here would be of more use to online games players where a good ping time is essential and those who use their PC for regular things such as browsing or Email should have no concern about this matter.

I have used this item to connect my Apple TV box, and Samsung smart tv to my router. They were both originally connected via WiFi, using the cables seems to have improved the signal, and reliability of the connection.
The connection speed will always depend on what speed you get into the house, the cables aren’t going to improve on that.

I recently purchased a 65″ Samsung television and noticed, with regard to my Wi-Fi signal, the Google Movies and TV app was struggling to render movies in 4k. I tried a Cat 5 cable which, while the image was more stable, was not as good as the image from the Wi-Fi signal when it rendered in 4k. After a bit of research of ethernet cables on Amazon I opted for the Veetop Cat 8 (8 metres). I ordered it yesterday, and it arrived about three hours ago. The RJ45 connectors are very high quality and fit precisely. The cable unravels very easily and stayed where I put it. I put on Google Movies and TV and selected ‘Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets’ from Library. I was immediately impressed by the detailed image, the solid colours and especially the sound quality. I have Sky Superfast Fibre broadband, which is advertised as having average download speeds of 59 Mbps. When I paused the movie for a moment, a caption appeared on the top right of the screen that said ‘Stream 7831’! Veetop also provide a 2 year guarantee. I recommend this product.

It is very stable and I can roll it and put it in my bag. I buy the 0.5 meter line and it is enough for me in my house. If you were prefer working outside, you’d better buy a longer one. The speed is very fast. The cover of the line seems very thick and stable.
I can’t vouch for the speed because I don’t have a proper testing setup, but they seem plenty fast (my speed would be limited by my router and ISP speed anyway). The main thing I appreciate about this cable is the quality feel and the good features like good connectors, protected snap levers that won’t get pulled backward to break because they have cover slats blocking them from catching on stuff, and the nice texture of the cable itself. They have a real high tech feel to them. And they work well. I’ve used several lengths from 1 meter to around 10 meters I believe and all have been great. These are my new go-to cables, both the white and the black. This review is specifically about the ones with the textured finish which almost looks/feels like plastic-impregnated woven fabric, which you can see in the product photos for certain models.
I thought that I would give it a try but I didn’t really notice anything special about it in terms of latency difference to a CAT5e cable but I am sure it has better uses in a large network with lots of interfering signals around and obviously it is made for avery high speed network anyway but it is very durable.
Just got this cable fitted and tested the speed at the end of 12 metre cable, pay for 350 mbps got 379 mbps. a great new speed. With my Cat 7 cable only got 75mbps, so this is doing really well at 379mbps
