The area of light isn’t very wide but the it’s a very small unit. Ideal for my patio doors and one on my mums front door to help see the locks. My only dislike is the cold white light. Please bring out a warmer white.

This 4 pack of security lights are excellent for use in your garden and the front garden. They are easily installed on the walls of your house or even on the fence with just a singular screw. This easily keeps them in place and they won’t be going anywhere. They’re also lightweight so they’re easy to put up. They’re waterproof which is obviously a must for security lighting and they have an excellent beam angle, making sure as much area is covered as possible. It’s recommended to keep them off for the first few days so the internal battery has a chance to charge so you have constant lighting throughout the night. They have different modes, such as motion detection. Overall, solid lights for the price; small but effective.

Got these to go in our back garden along a fence that gets alot of morning/early afternoon sun.
They are really simple to install and come with screw’s and wall plugs.
As we have installed ours on a wooden fence it was simply a matter of screwing one screw in for each light.
We have set ours on constant half light mode which when there is motion they turn on to full bright mode then back to half light once motion stops and I have to say they are brilliant and a lot brighter than expected.
As you can see in the picture I had only put two of the lights up and I walked out to activate the motion so you can see that they are very bright and light up the area well.
Overall I think these are brilliant solar lights and at 24.99 at the time of this review I feel is a good price and I highly recommended them.

    Really impressed with these.

I did not know what to expect but these have turned out to be far better quality than I expected for the price. Far brighter than older versions and installed easily with a screwdriver. We have lights right down the garden now, without having to install electric. Great purchase.

Solar powered, retains energy well throughout the night in summer months. Yet to test in winter months. Very bright for garden, I’ve set them to 50% brightness and the four solar lights have really lit up an area of 10mx10m easily – at only 50% brightness – and lasted over 6hrs after a sunny day’s charging. Looking to buy again for the front garden now.

    2) Dusk til Dawn light low power
    3) Dusk til Dawn low power with bright light for 15 seconds when motion is detected

Easy to select mode, press the large black button on the front to scroll through the different modes.

These light up a small garden really well. No cables to run and no batteries to buy. Zero running costs.

We have used these garden lights a few times in our garden and each time they have lasted just about 3 years. We think that is great value for money considering the British weather! They are easy to apply to a fence post and looks lovely at night when they come on. The solar panel works well and even in winter the lights have a glow for a period of time in the dark. Excellent value for money as you get a 4 pack.

Really impressed with these solar powered LED wall lights which we have installed in our back garden.

The motion sensor works really well and the light will come on as soon we open the back door.

    There are three lighting modes;

Medium Light Mode: The light automatically turns on at night and provides a steady medium light.

Dim Light Sensor Mode: A dim light is steady and as soon as motion is detected it goes to full brightness.

Sensor Mode: There is no light and as soon as motion is detected the light will come on in full brightness.

They provide a generous amount of light and are a lot brighter then I was expecting especially considering they are solar powered which from experience can be very hit and miss.

Overall very pleased with these lights and they are working very well so far. They seem good value for money so far however in my past experience with some solar lights then stop working after 6 months so only time will tell with these lights

An easy to install product, operates off minimal daytime light. Very efficient lights and motion sensor settings.

Very easy to install – only one screw or can be glued to almost any surface. Due to their very low weight, they don’t need much to support them.
They provide a good level of brightness.
There are 3 different modes, low, medium, and off(activated by the motion sensor ) – for my needs, the last one works the best, as I don’t want them to be constantly ON during the night.
The motion sensor works well, detecting movement. However on one of the lights it activates the light when there is no movement( I guess it might be to sensitive and being activated by a fly or other small insects ).
Overal the build quality seemed to bee good, so I am very happy with the lights.

    Good set of solar lights.

These are small and solar panel so I wasn’t expecting them to light up as much as they do, I’m happy to say I am pleasantly surprised.

In the little box came the four lights and the fittings. The lights did already have charge in them so they were ready to use straight away.

They are the easiest of lights to fit. I literally had to drill some holes pull the plug thingy in (don’t actually know what they are called in ) then screw and the lights were ready to go in a matter of minutes.

They sensors are good the local cats and fox are forever setting them off. They stay lite for awhile.

Personally for me these definitely aren’t security lights and wouldn’t be a deterrent. They are very much more like garden lights. A flood light offers more security then these do. In saying that they do look great on my fence and light the garden up nicely and would recommend them as normal garden lights

Hopefully this review is helpful in deciding if these are the product for you or not as I can only give my honest opinion on my personal option and experience of using these lights

    Better then expected!!

These are great fence solar lights.
Only small.but simple to use .
Other reviews say one didn’t workI’ve tested mine and all 4 work.
Sensor controlled..sunlight charges these during the day and when sun goes down any movement past these they will light up.
    Easily fixes to fence.
    Great little lights
    Currently priced at 26.09.

I’ve found these solar lights to be excellent and a great addition to my garden.

Personally I’ve used them on the wooden steps in my garden which looks really good at night when they’re lit up. They emit a great flood of light not only out to the front but out to the sides as well which makes for a great effect.

Installation is easy and is simply a single screw on the top. Screws are supplied and within seconds I had the lights installed and ready to go.

They are solar powered so need to go somewhere sunny in order to work. Once charged they have 3 different lighting modes – basically there’s a middle brightness mode which turns on during the hours of darkness, a dimmer mode which also turns on during the hours of darkness but then goes full brightness upon detecting movement and finally a full motion sensor mode which keeps the lights off until motion is sensed and then they turn on full brightness. The mode is selected by simply pressing the button on the front until the desired mode is selected.

I like the flexibility the 3 modes give you so you can use them either as a decorative lights or as security lights. The motion sensing works well

At just over 27 they so far appear good value for money. They are IP65 rated so should deal with the british weather without issue aswell.

This is a four pack of solar motion detector lights. They are fairly small, but big enough to put on fences, walls, by doorways etc. For their size though, the lights are really powerful and shine up everything really well with a good wide angled range. They are well made and can easily be secured to where you want to place them by simply screwing them in. There are different modes which they can be set to, and these change how they light up eg. on constant, only on when motion detected etc. They are good lights, and do work in dimmer conditions, but they are solar so you do need to have some sun for them to work at their full potential.

I am very impressed with these lights . I have had a fair amount of solar lights over the years and these are one of the best and brightest!

They have been easy to install. I used hard as nails glue as I don’t like drilling. They are impressively bright and stay on for quite some time at night lighting up my garden. They are also very sensitive to motion, of which I am impressed as I have bought other brands and they have not been very sensitive where I have had to stand waving my hands to get a trigger. These are sensitive from an impressive distance.

The price is competitive and I would buy more. I have been testing them for a while and all four of them have continued to work well and brightly and I like that the sides give out bright light as well.

    I highly recommend these.

    Impressive lights

I already have some similar lights to these around my back garden fencing which have been working well for the last year so when these came up I ordered them to fit onto my front garden trellising.
These come as a set of four identical solar powered LED lights fitted with motion detectors. Each of the lights are well made and look to be sealed against the elements and have a solar charging panel across the whole of the top width.
Fitting these was as easy as just screwing them up along the trellis after positioning the switch to the on position. I fitted them in facing the sunlight which is essential for solar lights to maintain the battery level and so far they have come on every night at dusk and are still on well beyond when we go to bed.
These have three modes that can be chosen from, on bright with motion, on low at dusk and bright with motion or on bright at dusk, the latter will wear through the battery quickly so I chose to have them on low at dusk and then they come on bright if anyone walks up our pathway.
    Great quality and work well.

These are handy and inexpensive lights, and easily installed with nothing more complicated than a single screw in each. They’ll brighten the gloom of night in many situations.

In view of the price — at the time of review, less than a fiver per light– it seems unfair to be be fussy about their limitations. But – as notes, not complaints – if you’re thinking of buying, here’s a few thoughts —

    1) I don’t think these lights can really replace true security lights — they’re just not bright enough to illuminate a large area and make burglars feel they’ve been exposed in the glare. Better than nothing, of course, and they could usefully illuminate small areas not covered by main lights. But I think these are better regarded as a way to provide a welcoming and useful glow outside the house or in the garden.

    2) It’s obvious really, but may be worth pointing out that, with the solar panel and light held in the same small unit, it can’t be put in a place that’s very gloomy, or it won’t charge in the daytime.

    3) When approached from the side, the PIR is only triggered at around a metre away.

I wanted these lights to illuminate a path that runs from my gate to house, too far away for mains-powered lighting. (See photo.) There’s a step on the path that could be dangerous at night. The lights, fixed along the fence, have eased this problem, but the short distance of the PIR trigger when approached from the side has reduced their effectiveness as a warning about the step.

    Handy and inexpensive lights

I have had this type of product before, even a very similar shape. However I have never had any as amazingly bright as this pack of four.

The amount of LEDs in each unit is quite remarkable and these even have the two sides illuminated. The sides being illuminated also means that the light angle spread is very impressive.

Operation of the solar powered lights is very simple indeed. Basically (whilst covering the solar power panel) press the black button once and the light will be in “medium brightness mode, with auto power on at night”. Press the button a second time and the light will be in “dim light mode which will automatically go to full brightness mode when movement is detected”. A third press and the light will be in “full brightness when motion is detected and off when there’s no motion detected”. I have got a couple of the lights in the “three press/mode three mode” as I think it works excellently for my needs. A fourth press of the button, by the way, will turn the light completely off.

I cannot fault these lights and I really hope that they continue to perform as they are at the moment. That’s always a concern with solar powered lighting but I can only review the lights as they are working now… and that’s ruddy well!! I think they are a 5 Bright Shining Star rated product.

You want light? These have bucketfuls of it for you walls, fences, driveway, outbuildings, garden.

Good set of reasonably bright lights for a sunny location where you don’t want to bother with wiring in.. Naturally it can’t compete with a wired floodlight. Not installed long enough to comment on longevity.

I’m overly impressed with the fact you get four such high quality lights. They are solar powered which makes them really easy to install. No wiring or mains power is required, they just need to be placed somewhere where they can get enough sun light in the day. All the screws and raw plugs for installing are included and to fit them it’s as simple as screwing in two screws for each light. The lights have an on off switch that also selects the lifting modes. There are three modes to choose from, one lights up on motion detection, the other does the same followed by a dim light and the last is a constant dim light. They are great for security or even just as lights for the garden. I’m really happy with these lights and the fact you get so many is brilliant.

These lights are amazing, the motion detection is really great, is full brightness when detects motion movement and keep dim light when no motion, in this way you can save energy.

It’s really easy to install, good quality, good value for money and works perfectly.

Excellent product, and great value in a 4 pack.

Easy to install and forget about, and even now, in February, the charge lasts well into the night eith good motion sense.

The multiple settings are a great feature, perfect for sitting out without the light switching on and off constantly, but with the selected positioned on top this could be awkward to access depending on the high you mount this.

Great product, would recommend for anyone wanting an easy solution to more light at nigh

These solar panels come well packaged. There are 4 separate solar panel lights in the box and screws and raw plugs are provided. The display is via LED lights.

The lights are very easy to setup simply leave them freestanding or fix them to a wall or fence with the screws provided. There is a hole in the top of the solar panel to place the screws.

There is a mode button on the panels so you can have the lights off and working only on a motion detection basis or you can have a dim or bright light combination as well.

The light that they give off was very impressive and bright given I put them out to charge in February in the UK.

I have had no issues with them so far, but will update this review if I find any issues occurring as we go through the seasons.

I hope you find me review helpful. Thanks

Well these are super bright! Normally I find solar powered a bit weak but these are very impressive. They have a flat back so they sit against your wall or fence and I held in place by single screw at the top. (I think if I was using these in a rear garden or private area I would prefer a keyhole design so I could simply unhook them and bring them in in winter, or for cleaning, but I guess if these are at the front of your property, or are on a perimeter wall or fence they need to be screwed down to stop them being taken) there seems to be three modes, all accessed by clicking the button on the front repeatedly. Mode 1 is the middle brightness mode, with them being off all day and just coming on at night so like a dusk till dawn feature. The second mode is the dim light sensor mode, and as the name suggests, these lights stay on dim at night, and illuminate at full power when sensing movement. A nice feature I have to admit. The 3rd and final mode is your traditional security light: remain off then illuminate upon sensing movement. The motion sensor feature seems reliable and responsive (so far)
These are very good. The range of different settings means you can use it as a simple dust till dawn feature say in the back garden or patio area at night, On the motion sensor allows you to use it at the front Or the side of a property as a security light to deter intruders. The angled design means you have to give some thought to their position in order to capture as much daylight as possible, But these rank among some of the better solar lights I’ve ever owned. Very highly recommended.

VERY bright - especially for for solar powered!

These are basic good quality motion activated solar lights and are great value for money. No wiring required. Important to place them somewhere where they will catch the sun. Once you have decided the location, just screw in. Very simple and easy to install and operate. These are smaller than some others I have had. They are unobstrusive. They are well made. The motion sensor works well and the light is bright. I have put these on my garden fences and they do work well. Well pleased.

We already have several similar sensor lights scattered around the house exterior and garden, helping to light the way at night, and as a security deterrent. These appealed because they are narrower than some, and thus ideal for fixing to fence posts using the good quality single screw (supplied). They can be fixed to masonry as well, and a wall plug is supplied for the purpose, but on a fence or shed, it’s the work of a minute or two. The cross-point head of the screw is odd. Nothing fits very well, PZ PH JIS.
As long as they receive enough light to keep the internal battery charged up, they are maintenance-free. Being sensor lights, they keep up well, since they are only lit for 15 seconds and only when movement is detected. These are sophisticated, and can also be switched to remain on at low level continuously during the hours of darkness, becoming brighter when movement is detected. There is also an option for continuous medium intensity light. The first mentioned sensor mode is recommended, and will conserve the battery charge best. The light comes from the sides, as well as the front, and is bright enough to prevent your walking into things within its detection range (about five metres and 120 degrees horizontally). These are sealed units, and I believe they are properly waterproof. If so, they should last at least a few years. A good investment.
