Bought 2 of these, one for lounge and the other for my workroom. Love them. Great price and I love the remote options for different lighting moods.

There are 2 modes white and warm which is good. Comes with remote and is great specialy if you have a low roof.
This was fitted by my young Grandson and is a very atractive addition to my new breakfast lounge !
This ceiling light is very bright and really covers the whole room really well, it was easy to install and the remote is easy to use. I like how you can change from warm white to cool white and also like the dimmable feature, there are a lot of settings available. Best thing about it is you can turn the light off from the bed, so no more getting up to close the light from the wall switch. The seller Depuley has been excellent and has also honoured the warranty very quickly when a button on the remote stopped working properly. 10/10
I bought this as we had an old style ceiling rose which was about 40cm in diameter and once it was removed I wanted to cover the area completely to save having to replaster the whole ceiling.
This light covered it easily and it wasn’t required to have a perfectly flat surface to attach it to.
Looks great, really bright when required and a lovely warm dimmable light for the evenings when watching TV.
I bought this because my previous light would have got in the way of a planned projector.
I *thought* it had stopped working after about a day, but it turned out that my landlord hadn’t installed it properly.
In the interim, I had emailed customer support, and they got back to me quickly. That’s why I’m leaving this review.
Like others, I would suggest that you make sure you don’t overestimate its brightness. Apart from that, it does what it looks like it does, and I’m very happy with it.
As to the materials, sure it’s plastic (I’m not sure what else anyone could reasonably expect for the price), but even if you look directly at it with the night light (dimmest setting) on, or the light completely off, it doesn’t look cheap (take a look at the photo – the problem there is that there’s a mark on my ceiling, which is nothing to do with the light). I don’t think I’d notice the difference if the silver parts were metal – I even had to check with a magnet that they weren’t.
(I’ve just peeled off the small ‘open – close’ sticker that you may be able to see in the picture.)

I initially gave a 3 star review because the remote stopped working. I was very quickly sent a replacement which now works perfectly and does the the job I want it to do. Looks very smart and good value for money.

I was a bit doubtful at first as I only wanted a straight on/off fitting (but could I find one – no!). When my handyman finished fitting it in our dinning room I was pleasantly surprised at the lighting levels and the lighting modes on the controller. Only had it a few weeks but so far so good.

The instructions are pretty much useless. I agree with another review about the cable hole being too close to the terminal block, but I was fortunate to have enough slack to curl the cable away from the block then return back towards it. The Live and Neutral cable colours are confusing, but as long as you match your cables with the Live “L” entry, and Neutral “N” respectively you will be fine; just a bit of common sense.
All that said, this looks fantastic in our Living room and I will be ordering another one for the other side of the room.
I dismissed the remote initially, but the daylight white setting is too bright and on an evening you will probably be like us and change to warm white.
Well worth the money and you will be glad you chose this one.
The two units are exactly the same design, and when turned on look the same due your eyes shutting their irises causing the silver to look black against the bright dome at maximum power. When off though the silver merges into the white ceiling and the two stacked domes.
The units do everything they claim to: bright cold light to dim warm light – your preferences remembered when the power is removed; this was particularly useful in the kitchen-dining area as this light is over the table and so can be turned off or dimmed to ‘intimate’ if needed leaving the food preparation areas well lit.
I cannot assess the durability of the LEDs as yet.
I’ve paired one control (press the “Matching” button at power on, light flashes slowly three times) with both lights onto one control after wondering ‘what does this button do?’; the other control is stored in case of breakage.
There are lots of mounting holes – we counted 8, and we used the 4 around the ring direct into the thick plaster board; there is almost no weight to the unit.
Wiring…..well…..the ‘rub’. It was simple, but awkward.

as the cable hole is too small to take a standard 3 core cable – and the unit must be earthed; the entry hole is two close to the terminal block to make the cable easy to bend. Also – amusingly – the Live and Neutral connectors are labelled the wrong way round by the wiring colors. Honestly.
This lamp uses 2 sorts of LED, the white light and the softer “warm” white usually produced from the old tungsten (remember them) light. This gives good options for colour rendering and general comfort, particularly as there is a useful remote with brightness controls and a very useful night light feature. Overall a good light which is sturdy and easy to fit by a competent person.
Unfortunately, although this light is nice, it’s probably (at max) just under 2000lm equivalent (worth about 2x 1000lm 11W LEDs from IKEA in a paper shade), which for a 48W-rated LED lamp is actually disappointing, and not the 3840lm quoted (for cool white). The cover redirects the LEDs’ output evenly, but loose quite a bit of light output in the process (see first photo without the cover and note the “ring” of brighter illumination half-way up the curtain vs. in the second photo – note that this was taken with a phone, and the auto-balance would “hide” the proportional illumination). In other words, the stated lumens are not what you get once the cover is on.
So for a bedroom or a hallway, this is perfect (although not as efficient as could be), but for a dining room, or a lounge, or definitively a study, this is not enough light (in my opinion).
Note that there are actually two sets of LEDs in the light, one set (#1) outputting at 2700K/3000K and the other (#2) at 6000/6500K (the description is ambiguous for the temperatures). When you choose cool white, only set #2 is powered; natural white, both sets; warm white, only set #1.
Dimming works well, and the timer and night light are quite handy.
I bought this for a house which I rent out.
It came the next day and my tenant loves it.

Modern and contemporary, easy to fit , the changes in brightness to warm and nightlight are just stunning. Really gives a lovely ambience to the room, the remote control is very easy to use and it’s great you can attach to wall ( I used some double sided sticky tape )

Used 2 of these in my large kitchen diner, lights are very bright but as advertised they are dim able & colour changing to a warm light.

Gives enough light for hobbies in a large room on max. The night light is like having the full moon indoors. Cool white, warm white, dimming all work a treat with the simple controller.
Down side, if someone irritating person turns of the mains off it can leave you wondering why the controller doesn’t work.

Fabulous light very light weight. I was surprised how bright it goes and easy to install the pictures I’ve taken in each setting you can alter the glow on each. 1st pic warm white 2nd daylight and 3rd night light higher or lower whatrever you prefer.
Really good and adjustable light. Installed on in bedroom as wife always craves bright light for her makeup. Tend to adjust to warmish light temperature. Needed bright light for my home office so bought a second unit. Tend to set cooler. Units look a bit cheap but they work.

This is a great looking light fitting with real versatility – white light, warm light and night light, with 5 min and 30 min timer all available on a handy little remote control with a wall fixing – perfect for a bedroom.
Will definitely be choosing this fitting again, great value for money.
Not mentioned in the description, a handy caddy to hold the remote is supplied which easily screws to the wall, I have mine placed conveniently next to the wall light switch. Highly recommended to do as these remotes love to go for an adventure down the back of the sofa, never to be seen again.
Fairly easy to install, I’m a 67 year old woman, admittedly I’m a bit of a DIYer & do understand a bit about domestic wiring but if you’re not confident about this sort of thing then just ask a handy friend to do it for you, should only take them about 30 minutes to fit. Step ladders, drill, cross head & electrician’s screwdrivers are all that is needed. Just have a lovely pot of tea & some cream cakes ready to reward them for their help, you can then both sit comfortably & admire this wonderful light.

These lights are awesome, we use them in our gym and the bonus is my wife likes them too. Good quality and acceptation value in our opinion. The wire colours didn’t match the UK, but managed to figure that out myself.
Bright light with plenty of options. Easy to install and nice and light to put up. Keep ours set to 4k neutral which is best light for a kitchen, not too yellow or white.

Neat, bright light and the warm/cool function and dimmer feature work well and allow for different moods. The plastic of the white bits looks a bit thin when the light is off but the black metal is stylish. Would buy again.
Easy to fit, came quickly as promised. Remote control is handy at times, but likely to go missing over the years. It seems you can switch between colour modes by quickly turning light on and off at switch so good to know (albeit not as much control as with remote) Good versatile product.

Good light. Hole in base for cable not made for solid single strand cable. Had to drill extra hole in base to get cable through. But nice bright adjustable light.
