Golden Review Award: 15 From Our Users I'm impressed.
“I ordered one transmitter/receiver kit, as well as a couple of standalone receivers.
In my home, I use a separate media VLAN for music and video. I plugged the transmitter into it, and connected a Chromecast to the transmitter.
Then I connected the receivers to it, and connected them to my displays. (Neither the kit nor the standalone receivers include HDMI cables, so you may want to pick up a few.)
The transmitter and receivers all found each other immediately, and I was casting Netflix from a tablet to the Chromecast to three displays in no time.
From start to finish, setup for one transmitter and three receivers took about 45 minutes – including the time it took me to unpack everything, plug everything in, set up the Chromecast, etc.
No configuration of the devices is necessary or possible; they appear to use network broadcast to find each other, and then multicast to stream from a single transmitter to up to 30 receivers.
I’m network savvy, and they work well for me, but I see no reason why they wouldn’t work for non technical people. They’re literally plug and play.
    Very impressed.”
