Basically quite and water resistance make for a good hunting pant.
I though I would give these a try, for a replacement for my BDU pants. So far I’m happy, the fit is good, the cargo pockets are smaller, but the belt loops are better, need more time wearing them
I know all the wanna be operator’s buy these to tactikool, but for all you blue collar folks let me to you these are better than any pair of pants you have ever worked in.

Found nothing wrong other than size fits on smaller size, had to get a 36 when I normally wear 34.
Nice pants just know for next time to get 32×30 instead with this brand. Always been my struggle to find pants that fit with different brands seeing most don’t make 31×31. Will purchase another pair for sure.
I’ve had 2 pairs of the shorts for many years, and they are very durable. I bought a pair of the pants for some international travel.
Buy these to sail in. Perfect sailing pants. Somewhat water resistant. Double layer of material in the knees makes kneeling on non-skid MUCH more comfortable. The extra pockets are perfect for sail wraps, etc. The D-ring makes a great tether tie off point for tools. Finally, they’re extremely durable.
I have purchased several pairs of these pants over the past several years. They are durable and yet you can wear them for any casual dress event. I now have them in 3 colors and have replaced 2 pairs when I lost weight.

These trousers are designed for a specific market and function perfectly in that capacity. they allow freedom of movement and are cut ‘comfortably’ to allow full use of the pocket space without subsequently making the trousers too tight to move in. Seeing a lot of whinging about these being too baggy. Any decent alteration shop can taper them from the knee to the hem for about 10 and make them un-baggy around the ankles but the roominess of the hips and thighs is for functionality, military tactical trousers are cut the same way for the same reason. The redeeming features far outweigh the negatives with these trousers which is clear to see from the raft of 5 star reviews.
Love the pockets. Is Teflon coated so a little stiff material. Loosened up with one wash so far. May just get regular cargo pants next time.
Having had 1 pair for 3 years I just bought a second pair. The first pair is still going strong. I wear them around 2-3 days a week 6 months out of the year and there are no rips or worn areas at all. They only look faded from line drying them in the hot sun of AZ.
Bought two sizes of these – they run very true to size.
He loves the quality of the fabric and the breathability of the fabric and ability to move in them.
Only downside was the plastic beads exploded in the packaging so I’d advise you to open them up outside – especially not around kids or animals who may eat the beads
Comfortable, decent fit, not NFPA compliant. Darker than expected. Basically look black unless in direct sunlight, then hint of gray. Even though they did not meet the uniform requirement I was aiming for, I kept them because they are comfortable and fit well.
Like them, use all the pockets and even the hidden two.
Comfortable and love that i do not need to wear a belt.
I did not have them for long enough and have not exposed them to a rough environment but that is to follow.

Pants are great- I always run the Taclite Pros for work, however when I saw the photo of the Tundra, it looked more dark brownish, but when it arrived at the house, it looked more Olive Drab.
My company requires Coyote brown or tan/khaki, so I guess I’ll just use these pants for the range or when I have to do additional training.
Decent pants, but seem kind of expensive for what they are. I dont care for the snap button fly instead of a regular button. I found they fit a little on the tight side for my usual size.
Used to buy my outdoor pants at Costco or Wal-Mart, where they are inexpensive
and decide to try quality product. Bought three pants from this brand and on the grey one, the front button doesn’t hold in place when snapped. At that price, you expect a better quality product. I m gonna try other brand for a similar product, see if I can get the quality expected for the price.

I bought these pants to use for my AC Technician job. I found them comfortable and they fit true to size. Pockets are everywhere which is exactly what I needed. In comparison to say carhartt, these are a bit cheaper and lighter weight for the really hot days.
I really love these pants. They are super comfortable, let you move easy, climbing is unhindered. The pockets are all in the right spots, perfect size for all kinds of things. I have many pairs of these and almost every color. They fit very true to size, in my opinion. Washing is easy, just turn them inside out and through them in with the color cleaning. The 5.11 brand of jeans is also spectacular and I have purchased several pairs of those. The belts from 5.11 are great as well. The brand gets top marks from me, I have never had a problem with anything of theirs. Buy it, you will love it.
I’ve been using these as work pants for years. I finally had to buy a new pair. They last a long time, they hold up well to abuse and the pockets are great.

Awesome pair of pants, bought them for work and it’s got more than enough pockets to carry everything I need, (Invoice book, boxcutter, multi tool, pens, notepad). Definitely very comfortable as well, no problem working all day in these crouching, kneeling etc. Will definitely be buying another couple pairs in different colours.

I ordered the regular size that I usually wear and these fit me well and are very comfortable. I will be wearing them as a formal wear too. Have not washed them yet but will update review if anything changes.

These are really good quality pants and seem very hardwearing. Got the dark grey ones and the colour is great. Will definitely buy again. They fit to size.
I have shopped 5.11 Tactical products for several years: caps, pants, shirts, and bags and packs. All have been truly durable and long lasting. The first pack I purchased still virtually looks like it came out of the store. These Tac Light pants have double stitching in the right places and the fit is very good. My first pants I purchased several years ago are still in excellent shape.
Phone pocket is perfect for iphone 8. Overall great fit and comfort, will be buying more of these.
My juicy thunder thighs rubbed a hole in the crotch. Otherwise the pants are extremely. Comfortable and manouverabke.

These are the best and most consistent fitting pants for your money. I have ordered several pairs over 5 years and they are still the right waist size and length. Other 5.11s can vary too much and I have had to send the other types back.
I just received the pants. It is not often I will order something online and immediately after receiving, plan on ordering it again. These pants fit perfectly. Not too tight and not loose. I could wear a belt with them but I would not need to. I like the arrangement of pockets. The layout makes sense for usability. Light material but durable at the same time. These are exactly what I was looking for in a pair of pants. I am glad I found these.
I wanted pants I could use for mountain biking and hiking in cooler weather. The cotton/ply blend makes them more durable than just cotton, and more comfortable than just poly. I wear 32×30 relaxed jeans. I bought 34×30 so I could wear padded cycling shorts and/or a base layer underneath. These are a bit big, but close enough. I bought+returned 2 other brands of pants that claimed to be 34×30 but were so small I barely sit in them. These are actually 34×30.
I originally bought one pair of these pants, then another, and another. Outstanding pants, long lasting, comfortable, practical, and quite durable for real work. 100% recommend.
I got these for my work mainly, where I work in both and office and in the field. The pants are lightweight an I suspect will be welcome when South Carolina heat and humidity starts baking us this year. My normal go-to for decades has been Levis 560 (loose fit), in which I wear a 40 x 38L. That inseam on me is 1 inch too long, and the 36″ length is too short. I ordered the 42 x 36L 5.11s. The length is Great — plenty — compared to my Levis, I’d say these are 37″ long in the inseam. The waist and rise of the pants are ok, but just so. Perfection would be just 1 more inch of rise / bagginess around the seat. I am 6ft-7in and 290 lbs. I just ordered a 2nd pair. I’m a fan.
Amazing pant feels great, specially around the waist feels like your wearing sweatpants, great quality. Just a little pricey IMO!
Habe mir diese Hose fr einen Tripp in die Urwlder des Amazonas zugelegt und bin nun einfach begeistert, vom Urwald und der Hose.
Sie sa sehr angenehm, rieb/schuerte niergens.
Trotz Killometer langer Mrsche, hoher Temperaturen von 35 bis Teil 40 Crad Celsius und extremer Luftfeuchtigkeit lie es sich in der Hose doch relativ gut aushalten, trotz des leicht dickeren Materials und den Verstrkten Knie Patien.
Das Material macht einen sehr robusten Eindruck und die Verarbeitung ist auch sehr zufriedenstellend.
Nun, nach dem Tripp, kann ich mich auch ber keinerlei aufgetretene Mngel beschweren. Alle Nhte sitzen so wie sie sollen.

La talla qued excelente. La calidad del material y la hechura son inigualables. Recientemente manch otro par de pantalones de la misma marca con pintura y pareca que no se quitara la mancha pero ha ido desapareciendo. Son muy pero muy cmodos y ahora que ya volvi el calor a mi ciudad, los pantalones me permiten permanecer fresco. Lo recomiendo.

5.11 es de lo mejor, pantalones sper resistentes y cmodos, es un modelo suficientemente amplio para la talla que soy.

i use my bush clothes hard and spend 4 seasons in the bush teaching skills and helping run outdoor adventures . these pants fit well , dry quickly and wear well for the price . after about 9 months to a year wear marks or abrasion marks are visible or small holes develop at stress points such as belt lines ,suspender clip on points and clip on knife locations . i get about a year to a year and a half out of each pair rotating 3 pairs of pants with two more in reserve . pockets are well thought out and haven’t had any develop holes so far . for the average person doing weekend adventures these would be an excellent choice .
I love these pants. They are thin but fairly durable. Pockets are in very handy locations. Have inside slots for 5.11 knee pads. Very comfortable. The colours are nice too.
La tela es un poco tieza, pero creo que cubre el objetivo de no mancharse y ser resistente. A simple vista se nota enorme, pero es por el corte, en realidad arma muy bien.

Pant was a little slack And long in the legs but nothing serious. I use them for work and an occasional hike/hunting trip.
The material is high quality and takes years to show even minor wear, fast drying, comfortable, ect. Nothing bad to say about that. YKK zippers, very deep pockets, and well placed cargo pockets with quality velcro that has never worn out on me.
And despite being extremely functional cargo pants they don’t scream “MILITARY” or “TACTI-COOL” so I feel comfortable wearing these outside of work without worrying about someone thinking I’m some kind of mall ninja or off duty serviceman.
If you need cargo pants you can’t do better than these.
My husband has had 6 pairs of these over the past 3 years. They usually last him 2 years of wearing 3-5 days a week. Great quality and the fit is great. The crotch gusset/panel makes them a huge step ahead of other pants for comfort and the fabric holds up to a lot while still being breathable. The pockets are great too.

My original review was 2 stars. The first pair of pants I got ripped right out and didn’t fit properly. After I returned them and ordered a new pair, I realized the first pair had most likely been some kind of knock off brand sent by mistake. The new pants were night and day from the original. Since then I’ve bought two more pairs of 5.11s. Though they are a little expensive, they are every bit worth it. I’m a big guy, and when I’m active I am really hard on pants. These have all held up well and look really great. Though there are a lot of pockets, they are placed well and very useful. The material is soft yet durable, and the stitching is all top notch. I have cheaper pants, and most of them eventually have problems with the buttons coming loose, the CQB and Tru Spec pants have this problem. Not the 5.11s!
Length and width were correct and these fit exactly as expected. If you know 5.11, you already know that these are durable, comfortable and suitable for every day torture that these are designed to withstand.

I’ve been an overseas contractor now for 9 years working for 7 years in the desert and 2 in Europe. I had to write a review because I just had to because the product is great. Put the trousers in the company provided “atomic wash”? No problem. They don’t shrink. All this achieves is a softer, comfier, fabric. They are the most lightweight, coolest trousers for baking hot dessert temperatures. They fit loose and comfy. They are rugged and last. They come in lots of different leg lengths and colours. They are the top choice for the overseas military contractor. Awesome product.
As the headline says, these pants are very comfortable, functional with lots of pockets, and sturdy. Very good tactical pants for wearing to the range or even in the bush. I found them to be comfortable even in hot temperatures, and have withstood lots of kneeling, hitting the dirt, and crawling around.
When clean they look nice and you can wear them with a button-down shirt, even. A good value for the price.
