I have only had this belt for 2-3 days. It’s super easy to use and although the pictures dont show, it does work your obliques (that’s what channel 2 is for).
A bit about me.
Decided to buy this, as i am currently trying to lose the tyre around my stomach area. I go to the gym 6days a week and mainly do weight training.
I wonder myself if this product helps people lose fat% but it’s probably unlikely. I still use it just incase but on a high setting.
If your reading this please note, in order for your abs to show, you will have to have a certain % of fat. I think its 5% but I could be wrong.
I really like this. I marked it down due to lack of detail in the instructions, also that I have trapped small bits of skin in the belt’s clasp twice. It’s got a nice zipped case to keep it in. I brought mine a few days ago, at first it was a shock to my abs and made me feel like I was going to faint but then it gradually got easier. I began with intensity 3 as 1 and 2 werent enough, then by today I dared to go up to 7 and began to feel like it was tickling but I could feel every movement where I could never target.
The settings I like the most are settings 6-10. The training and toning was like a relaxing massage.
All through using it Ive found it best to keep it to 30 minutes and try going for five settings three times a week.
Am really noticing the difference compared to the diet exercise ive been doing alone. Adding this to the mix is getting me over my limit I normally get up to as results. If going longer than 60 mins you end up feeling like its tickling and slightly got a burning feeling.
I found it very difficult to use the clasp and keep the belt on, you have all the gel on and have to use two hands to clasp it together, at the same time the controller swings every where, as it only just fits the pouch
I have had it a few weeks now and from day one have had it on level 99 on every program
never got any straining feeling at any time it did tighten my tummy muscles on the pulses I’m not fit slightly over weight by 5kg and retired and slightly disappointed it didn’t make me jump out of my skin at a lower setting

I’ve had this belt for a couple of months now and I’m very happy with it. As many of the previous reviews had said, it works best when doing additional workout & training. There are a variety of different warm-up and workout programs which is great. The display can be difficult to see at times because it is not lit but this is a negligible issue. I like that it can be worn as a belt (as opposed to pads) and can be adjusted. The customer service is also highly recommendable, very friendly and prompt. I would recommend this product.
Ordered the Ab Flex for my wife who attends 7 assorted gym aerobic classes per week but still wants to achieve a more toned stomach.

Have used now for a week and my daughter is very pleased with it But can’t comment realistically as yet as you need to use this item for at least a couple of months to see if it makes any significant improvements. A week or so of use is nowhere near enough time. Once it has been used longer I will make a honest assessment and give a genuine review.
We were a little sceptical about the price point of this belt, but the reviews were good so we thought we’d risk the punt.

The belt itself is easy to use, and comes with the gel, which should last many uses as you only need a spot on each pad. The instructions in the booklet are short and concise making the controller easy to navigate.
After previously owning a Slendertone product, I wondered if this belt would be as good, and I can say yes.
There are multiple warm up modes with varying times and intensities, then a similar number of main modes, again with varying settings. Thus far, we’re extremely happy with our purchase.
This product is very good but I’ve only given 4 stars as there are a few very tiny issues. The first one is the belt doesn’t have enough adjustment to fit a smaller waist but it did suggest unisex use and the programmes are really good however there should be an option where you can move through them without having to readjust the intensity settings.
Beong a regular gym goer I though I’d try this out to see if these things really do work – and I can happily say it does! You can instantly feel it working. Out of the workout options I recommend pulsing, training and toning as these really do hurt… and I’m only on level 50 out of 99! You only need a very small amount of the conductive gel on each of the pads and the waste belt is easily adjustable.
So far I am very impressed with this product, and can feel my core is harder after use. If you want a six pack to show through I imagine you need to lose the weight yourself however as this is more a muscle toner than fat burner.
I bought this based on other reviews about product & customer service. Straight forward to use. Different levels are more bearable than others – haven’t got past 25 on power yet. I haven’t had any aches the next day so may need to turn it up. Can’t see results yet but I’ve only had it a couple of weeks. Got it as I have a bad back and and crunches are hard to do

I received it six hours ago used tense 30 for almost an hour before going to bed and another hour now when I woke up and it shrinked my waiste!
It’s just magic! I can already notice the difference and you have plenty of intensity levels that you can increase gradually until you find the one that suits you so it’s not painful at all

I looked at a couple of different machines available on Amazon. I chose this one as it had good reviews and looked professional.I opted for normal, free delivery and was delighted that it arrived within a couple of days! The machine matches what is advertised and comes with easy to understand instructions. There are plenty of programmes to use and I have used the machine each day since I have had it. On each occasion I have felt my abdomen muscles being put through their paces and hope to see some muscle definition in the not to distant future.
The sellers emailed me directly to check that the machine had arrived OK and sent a follow
up email asking me how I was getting on and if I needed any assistance.

I do however recommend you buy the gel with it.. as water stings a bit especially.. when, you use it on high power..

This device is fantastic quality. Arrived nicely packaged. It is capable of giving out strong currents or softer ones. And the speed and intensity can be increased or decreased. The batteries have lasted me ages too. I haven’t used it for toning as that wasn’t why I puchased it, but rather, for massages of aching and exhausted muscles – which it is really great for.

Additional, I also go to the gym maybe 2-3 times a week as this is designed to go hand in hand with working out because c’mon, let’s face it, you can’t get a six pack sitting on the bed playing World of Warcraft. One of my least favourite physical exercises is sit-ups so about five years ago I purchased a slendertone, which is a good, useful product and -up until it stopped working quite recently – I saw real benefit from using this.
I purchased the Ab Flex as a replacement for the slendertone and I think it is a better product because it is equally easy to use but there is a greater range of exercises, which targets the abs in different ways, also at the highest setting there is greater intensity and the cost over time should be less because you don’t have to constantly purchase expensive replacement pads.
In summary, if anyone is looking for a product that tones and tightens their abs whilst wishing to not incur additional costs then look no further.
As I only received this item on Monday, it’s hard to write a meaningful review. What I will say is it seems well designed, I can certainly feel it doing something and I will not be expecting miracles. Abs, if you want them, I imagine come with hard work. I am looking for a bit of toning whilst I sit on the couch! I will be sure to update this if miracles happen, all joking apart I hope the Ab Flex will help with getting to those hard to each areas that sit ups alone cannot tackle.

I bought this to help me regain the core strength I lost due to a moped accident. It’s early days but works a treat once you get used to the strange sensation. Will re post an updated after week 5. Customer service is worth more that 5 stars as they check in on you and offer a continued service after they’ve sold the product. If your looking for a toning belt, these guys are great.
Really fast delivery. Opened the box and within five minutes was ready to go. Instructions so simple. I have been ill in the past to can only swim or walk so this is fantastic. Can really feel the work out and can carry in with housework whilst using. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have used a well known competitors toning belt in the past and did find it produced results with regular use over a period of a couple of months. That belt eventually broke though and when I saw that this Ab Flex belt was cheaper, had great customer reviews, was guaranteed not to fall to bits and perhaps best of all does NOT rely on annoying sticky pads which need to be replaced regularly and are ridiculously expensive.
This belt has built in pads which are made of a durable material and which the user just needs to dampen before each use. A water-based gel comes included with the product. I use this quite liberally – it is not unpleasant or sticky or greasy and just kind of evaporates of wipes of just like water. I do not think it is going to last long but the instructions say it is fine just to dampen the pads with water – great – free!
The belt is easily adjustable to fit to size and clipping it together is straightforward. The user is in total control of the strength of the stimulation and there are numerous programs which I am really just working my way through and settling for the ones I find most comfortable. I graduated to using the device at full strength within a few days but that is because I was previously using a similar device. I would certainly advise taking your time in building up the strength of the pulses, the sensation perhaps needs to be just a little uncomfortable to produce results and you do need to work your way up as much as possible but it is not meant to be painful and you will find you do build up a tolerance as you get used to the sensation. I find it perfectly comfortable on full strength now. It is a good idea to set yourself something you need to do that takes about half an hour as this is the length of one session and this way it passes without you even noticing and youve got a chore out of the way at the same time!
My only niggle is that I would like better written information. I would like to know what each of the programs/settings does and if there are any recommendations for use of these for maximum or particular effect. I think for people who have never used a similar device before, more help in choosing the length and strength build up of sessions would be helpful. I have read elsewhere, in a similar product’s literature, that you should take a break once or ideally twice a week to allow muscles to recover which makes sense as this is what is recommended for weight training regimes.
I have only been using this for around a week but having immediately previously been using something similar for a couple of weeks I would hope and expect to see some solid results in about 5 more weeks from now… will let you know! ( I am on a countdown to a bikini-holiday in mid-August and base this prediction on this system taking what in my experience should be around 8 weeks to make a serious difference)
I bought this belt because of the good reviews and I’m really pleased I did. I am a middle age woman with a tummy and since using this every day I feel my tummy is getting firmer and my clothes are getting looser. It feels weird when you first use it but the results are worth it. Really good quality and comes in its own case. 5*
I’ve used a slender tone for years but after reviews on the Ab Flex I thought I’d try it.
I think it’s excellent value for money and like that you don’t have to buy replacement pads. The different settings are a great option and I really like that you have the controls externally. The only issue is the belt which has clicked open a couple of times and it’s hard to adjust when your wearing it, but a bit of Velcro could fix that.
I used it last night on two different settings and I feel a bit sore this morning like I’ve actually done a session of sit ups!

After looking at slendertone and ab flex, I decided to go with the ab flex as it had 5 stars and excellent reviews.
The product was delivered on time and I am very happy with my purchase. So glad I went with this and not slendertone as it was much more money.
The settings work well and I can see a bit of difference already. I did think it was broken after a few days, but figured out that the pads have to be in the correct position on your chest.

I use this about 4 times a week, usually after a heavy CV session and core work in the gym. I genuinely feel tighter and more toned after using it. I feel it gives my abdominal and obliques that extra push after a workout.

I’ve had the Ab Flex belt for just over a week now and can safely say that’s it going to be money well spent. I try and use it 2 times a day (morning and evening) spending 30 minutes each time. The 10 different modes and intensity levels allow me the chance to really give my abs a good workout and I’m definitely feeling the benefits, although the immediate burn after the 30 minutes is less than enjoyable! No pain no gain I suppose! The belt arrived in great condition, well packaged and easy to use. Looking forward to seeing my progress over the next few weeks as I build it in to my existing routine
A little disappointed with one or two aspects.
1 It requires batteries to be fitted although the original are still effective after 5 X 2 X 30 minutes sessions.
2 it is difficult to adjust the waist size when wearing the unit Andi cannot find any advice as to how tight it should be
3 the control unit is unwieldy and a little bulky when using the belt whilst exercising
4 the instruction brochure would be improved by specifying what each of the programmes involves or targets and with suggested workout plans
But if it does the job at this price with excellent distribution service all will be forgiven!
Also while using it, are you meant to actively TENSE your muscles or try to relax them and let the pulses tense them for you????
The pulses are STRONG, and it’s great to have many channels & levels to choose from.
My concern however is the fact that on the pads you can either use the gel (provided) or WATER (as said in the instructions) – however also in the instructions it says to avoid putting water on the belt !?! – hopefully i wont damage it with water once the gel runs out.
But for now it seems to be doing its job well.
Good piece of kit, great value, been using for 3 weeks now and seen some difference, don’t expect overnight results though but keep at it, good choice of programmes. Only con so far is the battery cover is lose and tends to come at times, also if the belt is tight, maybe it’s to tight, it can power of when the control pad is in the pouch. Would recommend.
This is indeed a good product. I have used it for a couple of weeks now and always enjoyed it. I definitely feel that my abs muscles are stronger than before though I can not see them as yet. A slight negative point is that the instructions are not clear, I think it is better to upload a short video about this. Emails from Sarah is also a sign that they care for customers. I will definitely buy another around Christmas for my brother.
Only used the Ab Flex a couple of times, its well made, comfortable to use… Im hoping it will tone up my core muscles which will help strengthen my back… and also trim waist line. I use it around the house and or when I go out for a walk.. Im not a gym user.
I would imagine if you had alot of weight to lose it would take time and diet to show the benefits. Its worth watching some youtube videos who do give good tips, on varying your workout rather than sticking to the same one…

Once you get used to how to use it, this belt is very comfortable and straightforward. The range of programmes is very good and the timer switch is clear and simple to use. I’ve been using it he belt for a week and can already see a small, positive difference. I though long and hard before buying and am glad that I have gone ahead and done so. I like the bag it comes with too, makes it easy for storage and travel.
Don’t expect a 6 pack over night, use along side a good diet ie. The product itself is very easy to navigate: comfortable fit belt that can easily be tightened or loosened; sensible controller that has all the information you need without being overly complicated.
With 10 programs (5 warm up and 5 main), each having intensity levels going up to 99, there is a lot available to incorporate into your workout without experiencing the same thing every time.
You can immediately feel the belt at work, and whilst I’m not too sure how effective it’ll be in the long run, after finishing an hour program my muscles have the tightness of a usual ab workout. Fingers crossed it continues to work in this way.

I like this abs toner it looks well made and worth the 40 pound I paid.
I can tolerate intensity level 45 at the moment and use it for one hour a day you really can feel it on your stomach it does work well, as to whether it will show on the outside time will tell.I do go to the gym and slimish I just want my stomach pulled in a bit and im confident this will do it.
Its comfortable to wear and doesn’t slip down it holds firm on the stomach.
If your fat you will have to eat less then you will see the results im sure of that.
Anyway, I have been using this for about 2 hours each day, and have worked up to setting 70 (out of 99). It is easy to use and also easy to get on with other stuff around the house without impediment. I should also add that I have lost about 14 lbs over the last 4 months and I’m in reasonable to good shape for someone in their mid 50s. I am also getting through AA batteries every 10 days or so.
Having put in all those qualifications, I would definitely say that it works. I do have more clearly-defined abs and have done no sit-ups. My wife is most impressed!
I would say if you are in good shape and can get into a routine where you can wear this for a few hours a day (and have a plentiful supply of AA batteries – will have to get some rechargeable ones…) then give it a try and you may be surprised within a month.
I have been using the Ab Flex for about a month and have certainly started to see results. I’ve been told that you need a body fat percentage below 12% to get a six pack, so I’m not expecting that but the Ab Flex really does help tone the abdominal area. I have also noticed that my core strength has greatly improved and find normal ab exercises (sit ups, plank) much easier. Combined with my normal excercise routine and fairly healthy diet it will be interesting to see how far the Ab Flex goes in toning the abdominals.

I purchased this item a month ago, and have waited this long to see if would be any good. I must admit I’ve looked at these before and never been sure if I was wasting my money. This Toning belt has blown all my concerns right out the window. I have to confess having read the instructions, I was a wimp and started right on the lower end of the scale! It was a strange sensation to start with, having never used one of these before, but all was well and I decided to up the levels. As I’ve said, had it a month now, it DOES make a difference. Very good bit of kit , I bought this as 15 yrs ago I used slender tone belt to tighten up my tummy muscles that were slack from 3 pregnancies and it worked well the yrs have gone by and my tummy is starting to let the rest of me down I’m average weight for my size albeit with pop belly , so ordered this price + reviews swayed me well I’ve used it 4 days so far , and from memory this feels way better than my old device and I know with perseverance it will do the job . I hate sit ups so this is perfect , I start on either training or toning setting At 35 and half way through crank it up to 50 , I do this twice daily ( box says once a day but hay ho I’m impatient)
At first I found the toning belt a bit painful on my skin but have stuck with it and have now managed to progress to a level that I can feel the contractions in my muscles. I think this will do the job I was hoping it would do and help to strengthen my core, I sit at a desk most of the day and despite attending an advanced boot camp 3 times a week my core has not regained the muscle strength of my youth ( I’m 61) and I regularly suffer with a sore back. I purchased this belt to give me the added concentrated ab work I feel I need to get my waist toned and strengthen my core to enable me to continue to progress in my fitness goals. I don’t think I will ever get a six pack cause I would have to loose weight first. What I can say is that you can really feel and see it working as your muscles contact. Anyone who says it’s not powerful enough must have a faulty belt. I’m on level 35 on the toning program and I will be glad when the 30 minutes is up. No pain no gain!
I started out on Level 10 and am now up to Level 25, I alternate between Toning & Training mode and it really does the trick, though I cant visibly see a difference to the outside of my stomach I can feel the muscles in my lower stomach (where I wear the belt) are tighter.
I do find that when I am working out (or simply getting the household chores done; making beds, doing the washing ect.) wearing the AbFlex the intensity of the belts ‘prickle’ goes up ten fold- but that just makes for a firmer feel the next day 🙂
Last thing: About the gel that comes with the belt- a little goes along way- I see the bottle lasting a long while!

I have tried the expensive slender tone belt the pads needs to be replaced often and are not cheap from slender tone. I have also tried a cheaper belt that only requires water on the pads but the belt stings even when used with gel. AB flex belt is absolutely fabulous with so many levels and modes. Really happy with this, being that i have been very stationary for several years due to ill health, my core muscles became non-existant. there are still days when i am too weak to do my usual exercise regime. Thats when this belt comes into it’s own, i can have it on any setting depending on what i can cope with on that day. i can place it on lower or upper abs, or reverse to help regain muscles in my back. i am very pleased. does exactly as promised. i have noticed i am getting stronger, more able to control my stomach muscles better than i expected to from exercise alone.
I do suffer from unusually sensitive sides, so i find i have to be careful not to be too ambitious, else i can feel a sharp shock rather than the muscles being ‘twitched’, better to have lower setting for longer IMO.
The sensation does take some getting used to if u have a tactile sensitive body
I am a regular gym user and bought this really for toning. I have to say after several 30 minute sessions you do know you have been working your abs. New users should keep the levels low though as you could end up a tad sore. In summary, a good bit of kit that does what it says on the tin.
I purchased this belt three weeks ago, as a slim fit woman in my fifties aiming to gently strengthen my abs after fainting & damaging my lower back. My main concern was that it would be too weak or ineffective as my abdominals were already quite fit, on the contrary I have been absolutely delighted with it! The large range of effective levels work brilliantly & my starting point was nowhere near the maximum, so lots of scope to build tolerance, the various programmes feel quite different & seem to work different abdominal areas. From the beginning, I was impressed with the strength & effectiveness of the belt & made the mistake of letting my husband try it….we are now fighting over it & may have to buy a second one for him! I’m currently using it for one hour in the morning and the same in the evening. Highly recommended even if you are pretty fit already!
So far so good with this item! Although I haven’t had the belt for long, I can feel how this will be of benefit to me in the future. As other reviews have said it will only be useful alongside regular exercise and a controlled diet. It isn’t going to produce results with a ring of fat around your waist! But the varied setting and intensities seem, intially, to give the abdominal muscles a decent workout. Hopefull this will continue to be the case. And for this price, definitely worth a try when compared to the much more expensive slendertone items which I also considered. And with a lifetime replacement guarantee should anything go wrong with the belt, even more incentive to give this a punt 🙂
I was enitially going to buy a cheaper version until I noticed all the extras this had to offer and the fact it was only 10 extra. I was warey and I went for it. I just wanted this belt for toning due to working long hours and being most of the time stood on the spot or sat all day and even though I’m slim my stomach muscles started to slip. I have only had this item two days and already I’m noticing a difference. Some of the settings can take time to adjust to i would imagine as even on low some of them still make me jump!! But the product is absolutely fantastic and works a treat.
I have only had this product for a couple of days so cannot give an authorative view. My first impressions are positive except for the adjustable strap which should be adjustable when wearing. The width of the strap and the quality is very poor for an item that is supposed to be top of the range. I cannot make a physical adjustment while the strap is on so I have to struggle to close the belt at it tightest around my waist. Surely a broader higher end adjustment mechanism should have been considered for people like me who are not as flexible as they used to be (a polite way of saying old and fat).
It’s early days as I’ve only had this for 5 days, so far so good. I don’t understand the reviews where peoples it doesn’t work even on full setting.
I’m 5’9″ and 12 stone – i.e very little fat on my stomach which I think helps. I got this due to a recent accident preventing me going to the gym and to maintain my physique (not muscly/defined – just normal).
Put the belt on and it’s quite incredible how the muscles contract, I could go nowhere near setting 99, max was about 30 on both channels for me, it was causing me to twitch like a lunatic (much to my wife’s amusement!).
I like the range of programme options (some are just painful for me, others work the muscles perfectly).
The one improvement I would like to see is a “low battery” display.
Excellent delivery process, thanks to Amazon Prime. Well packaged and clear and concise instructions. So far only had for 1 week, but feeling the benefit already – can’t wait to see how I look and feel 6-8 weeks down the line. I am a regular gym user, so am using the belt to compliment my work outs – especially when I am at home, around the house – had it on for an hour the other day whilst doing the ironing. I would recommend using a warm up programme and 5-10 minutes ( as per the instructions), it does give you chance to get used to the pulses – after that though – it is quite easy to ramp up to a higher spec programme.
Been using this for almost a week now, and already I’m beginning to feel a difference. It’s easy to operate using the wired remote control and the instructions are straight forward. Very easy to wear under loose clothing, there’s even a pouch to store the remote control, nobody would notice unless your’e ticklish (the drum beats make you jump a little until you used to them). Applying the water based gel is no problem and easily cleans off afterwards. It works by using two ‘AA’ batteries which are supplied and readily available when needed.
The seller, EZ Innovations Ltd have fantastic customer support. I had one small problem with the supplied storage case regarding the zip fastening. I might not have bothered about this given the good value of this kit, but they sent me a very warm thank you email after it arrived, so I decided to mention the zip problem in reply. They could not have been more helpful and considerate in their followup emails. They sent me a replacement without delay. Really top notch five star service.
Fantastic, very happy with the purchase of this ab toning belt, one of the most reasonably priced belts I’ve come across, simple to use, just moist the 4 integrated pads with the included gel or water and put the belt on around your stomach and adjust. Comes with and takes standard AA batteries so NO need to wait and charge it up before use, just turn it on select one of the 10 programs and start increasing the levels. I’ve used EMS systems before, you either end up a mess of wires, pads, straps and feel like you can’t move without the pads moving around or catching wires, or with other belts, when you come to take them off you end up with sticky stuff from the pads, NOT this one. You have one cable to the controller which has a nice little pocket to slide into on the side of the belt and your free to move about and get on with other daily activities. Once finished just unclick and wipe off any remaining gel, no sticky mess!
Hello I am 55 yrs young. This product was bought to re-firm my stomach muscles & not to gain a six pack, but hey if that is the result I will gladly take it. It is early days but I can already feel the difference, I use it twice a day & alternate the programmes using setting 50 of 0-99 as I find this the most comfortable, maybe as I progress it may increase. My core workouts at the gym feel a whole lot different I have had to increase the reps to achieve the desired burn, this is a positive sign that using the Ab Flex in conjunction with regular exercise increases the result. For the price it’s a steal, don’t hesitate, fully recommended.
