ABUS ConHasp Granite 215/100 + 37 / 55HB100, 45707

I haven’t installed the lock yet. The template for drilling it was missing. Amazon was outstanding in their customer service and I wish I could say the same thing with ABUS. Epic fail on their part when I did 3 separate requests for a paper template to drill the holes. I emailed Phoenix, Chicago, and Germany. I got the most help from the bike lock division in Chicago. Phoenix was zero help and Germany only sent an auto response. It can still be installed but cutting large holes in steel it’s nice to know the exact spacing as there is no wiggle room in steel as there would be a little in thick wood. Lock quality itself is of this hasp is very nice and excellent quality. I wish ABUS would offer the 83/100 series Rock lock with the HB100 shackle. But I can’t seem to find that lock anywhere. Or the HB shackle. I own he lock body but no luck on shackle as a part of as a whole lock. ABUS has excellent products but the corporation is not easy to deal with. I would buy this again because this type of lock isn’t common. Swelokk is another what seems to be nice lock. Guessing it’s s Swedish lock. Never see them readily available though. It locks using the bars on sea container if I recall. One last thing, the ABUS does come with a lock and keys. I just wanted the larger lock. They do offer the excellent granite long shackle 37/70. I got the 37/55 lock. I didn’t see the offer for the 37/70 lock with this hasp. Or I’d of ordered the larger (and more expensive) 70 series lock. I’m in the western United States and ordered this lock setup from the UK. Real hassle getting good locks and security chain in the US Versus the UK.
