We’ve not slept on it yet but the test inflation was very efficient as was the deflation. It was easy to fold but it will never be small enough to fit back into its original packaging !

A comfortable air bed. Easy to inflate and deflate to our away. As previous reviews I’d read had said it was soft in the first use but then a little re inflate and thereafter was great. We used this for camping in a tent at A festival. Something g we’ve never done before and it was brilliant. A comfortable bed at the end of the night. Would buy again and recommend. Also the fitted sheet I used over it (king size) fitted well and didn’t slip off- a bonus. Would advise using additional pillow(s) though.

We bought this solely for guests sleeping over. On a recent trip from USA our nephew spent 14 nights on this. He’s light but tall and said that by inflating or deflating it to suit his comfort, it was as good as his bed back home. Inflating is easy and takes less than 5 minutes to get it really firm.
We have also had reports from couples that they get a good night sleep on it too.
I have no adverse reports of leaking or deflating, and providing you follow the instructions and inflate it way before use and allow it to acclimatise to room temperatures, then I’ve personally found no problems.
The only negative is folding it back up as these things never easily go back in the box that it comes in. Don’t even try! Just fold it as best you can and put it somewhere where it won’t get sharp objects poking into it. Like a linen closet or under a bed out of the way. Oh, and obviously, don’t allow cats to stretch out on it because those sharp claws will easily pierce this mattress.

We were waiting for our bed to arrive and in the meantime rather than sleeping on a mattress on the floor decided to get an airbed. This is surprisingly comfortable. We give it a little air every other night and sleep very well on it.

Great airbed, comfortable and easy to add more air into. only downside is that it is near impossible to get back into the box they provide and would be better accompanied with a material bag as with other products similar to this on the market.

Me and my partner use this air bed when going camping.
Its super easy to setup, just unroll, plug in and away you go. I will say the pump is a bit loud, so can cause issue on those quiter camp sites. But it does only take 5 minutes max to fill so isnt really too much of an issue
Im quite (6ft 2) and have no issues sleeping on this mattress at all.

You can see the difference between the left photo (pumped manually) and on the right (by electric point). Therefore depends where using.

We purchased this item as an emergency bed as we had a full family get together. It is brilliant. It’s very easy to inflate and deflate and fairly easy to fold up when not in use (although not easy to get back into the box).
Because the top surface is textured, it would benefit from some form of mattress cover.

Gone are the days of having to use a foot pump….the beauty of this bed is that it inflates in 3 minutes with the built in pump. Great for last minute visitors that want to stay over – our visitors said that they found the bed perfectly comfortable! A very good purchase

We used this bed for over 2 months and a half, every night. We only had to re-inflate it twice. This is very important to us since other air beds deflate significantly overnight. It is as comfortable as it can be. We did 2 things to make it even better: we laid one thin but sturdy blanket underneath the fitted sheets, to even the surface and we placed the air bed on a medium rug so it doesn’t slide on the wooden floor. It was easy to deflate and fold it. I highly recommend it.

Really useful mattress. Super quick to blow up, and sucks the air our quickly too. Haven’t slept on it yet but all of our guests said very comfortable and had a great sleep. By the morning it looses a bit of air but it’s okay. Have issues with folding but it might be me as I desperately want to fold it back to its original box every time xD

I bought this for camping. It was very easy to inflate and deflate. It did go down a bit on the first nights use but that’s to be expected. We inflated it again and the 2nd night was definitely more comfortable. I think it’s probably impossible to get it folded as smal as it is in the box but now that I’m home and have more space and time I’m going to try and get it folded a little smaller. Both my husband and I found this bed very comfy and great value. It is quite big for our tent. We have a berghaus 6 and it fits in one of the bedrooms with a very small space at either side. My sister has same tent and uses a double and can fit her clothes in the bedroom area too.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt’s only 4star because it only has a 3pin plug. It would benefit from having an in car plug so you can inflate it when you’re camping. Had to inflate it with a good hand pump I’d invested in which didn’t take too long but that’s not why I bought the self inflating type! It’s a good size and really comfy. I’m 5ft 7 and my feet didn’t dangle over the edge! Closest thing to sleeping on a real bed, well worth the money. Just make sure have a pump handy as it does deflate (it states it will do this though) I only used it for 3nights and had to inflate it a little more on the 2nd.

Needs an in car plug as well as a 3pi

Was very good for the first 2 months. Easy to inflate , not so easy to fold. Quite comfortable for all night.
After being used a few times decently, only 2 adults, with a medium weight, began to lose pressure. finally, after a few months, rarely used, it loses pressure for more than half until morning. I do not recommend sleeping for a long time.

The bed was easy to inflate and deflate.
It fitted back in the box, which was a surprise.
Comfortable to sleep and and did not squeak like some types.
It did go down but only slightly and once we gave it a second blast of air it stayed up for three full days.
    Would recommend.
Missing a start because we have only used it twice, once for the set up following the instructions and once on a short 4 day break. Time will tell how it performs on a longer camping trip but I am hopeful that it will keep its early promise and be a great purchase.

Myself and the wife had to use this for a few nights whilst moving into a new home and waiting for a new bed. My thoughts on it are…..

1 – Very easy to inflate, just plug and play. My only issues is you’re not told how much you should be inflating it. So I can imagine it would be easy for anyone to over inflate and perhaps burst it in some way. So you’re kind of left guessing. The side of mattress do not inflate like the main portion you lay on, so I recemmend you actually press down closer to the centre while inflating to get an idea. If you would use the sides then this would be very easy to over inflate.

2 – Having two adults sleep on this all night, we didn’t find it went down too much during the night. It didn’t come close to ruining our sleep tbh, so in that regards it was very good. We found we could inflate it to a good degree of stiffness, that suited how we like a mattress to be and it help out pretty well.

3 – We used this on a wooden floor and my God is it noisy. I think when you’re on it obviously the air is pushed around and the underneath of the mattress touching the floor move in certain ways. So when you get up, the mattress will push itself back to it’s original shape. On our wooden floor this made incredible noisy sounds. But this also happened when you changed position on it, say from laying on your left side near the middle, then flipping over to your right side closer to the edge. If you’re a light sleeper this would definitely be an issue for you. I imagine on carpet you would not have this issue mind.

4 – This is near enough impossible to get back into the original box once it isn’t needed. We left our to deflate for about 8 hours, then gently pushed the air out whilst folding. But didn’t come close to getting it back into its box lol. So bare that in mind for storage again when not needed. It doesn’t take up much space tbh, but highly unlikely to be going back into it’s box.

If used correctly and sensibly then I can recommend this after 4 nights of use by two adults. We will be using again in the future when guest’s come to stay, so hoping the experience won’t change then.

We’ve just tested it out at home. Plenty of space for 2 adults (one is 6’5″).
We are camping without electric hook up (EHU) so I was worried we wouldn’t be able to blow it up but there is a hole (like traditional inflatables with a plug) and we just bought a rechargeable pump to do the job. Would take a long time by hand!!
There’s a mains connection already attached to the bed and if you have EHU and apparently takes 3 mins but we haven’t tried it.
It’s comfy and easy to get up from!
Packing away wasn’t too bad – squidge all the air out as best you can (there is a deflate cap to turn) and you can use the rechargeable pump to suck the last bits out and it does go back in the box (just!)

I use this every night have done for about 6 weeks. Two adults. You do have to inflate it till you think it may pop lol that way it doesn’t deflate overnight.
The bed size is decent I’d guess we add a little air once a week. Easy to inflate.

You’d need pillows unless you like only the small bit allowed as the pillow.

Pump is noisy but doesn’t take long. Once it’s out of the box good luck getting it back but that’s goes for any inflatable product

When it’s pumped firm you can barely feel the other person moving like on some other air beds. Also if it’s firm enough when the other person gets out you don’t sink half a foot like other beds. Again it has to be pumped firm enough

The cable is a pain to put back in a little but wouldn’t stop me buying another

Can’t stress enough to get the best out of it it Needs to be fully inflated. Not sure if there’s an Auto stop so I just stop when I feel it’s enough. I do think those who have constant issue with it deflating after a few days don’t inflate it enough. First week or so we didn’t fully inflate and it lost air overnight. But inflate till very very firm and that Stops

    Would buy another for sure

I bought this bed and it turned out to be faulty after 6 months. Although it wasn’t good but the customer service team were great in offering me a refund or sending the correct item. The fact that they acknowledged that there was a problem with their product makes me believe that this company is in the right direction and they were willing to send a replacement which I am sure would be better. I have great respect for the management of this company and their product is no doubt great.

Back in the day when you had to self isolate for 10 days I found myself in need of a spare bed. A bit more than I would have liked to pay but the reviews were good and so I bit the bullet.
Easily inflated within a couple of minutes and as per the instructions you need to inflate a bit more after it’s settled.
First night was very comfortable surprisingly so but, and I hadn’t thought about it prior to buying, with a normal bed your body heat is insulated into the bed, with an inflatable bed this doesn’t happen and I found it very cold. The solution was to put blankets on top of the bed and sleep on, which worked wellish. Obviously this is not such an issue in summer.
Deflating was just as easy but forget trying to get it back into the box and just stick with the carrier they supply.

Purchased the mattress so we don’t sleep on the floor in our new flat.

First few nights was good enough but with time you can start feeling it’s not a bed, and you can notice that you are waking up tired.

The product is good, it does the job that it claims, the only caveat is that after a couple of inflations, or topping up the air, you’ll start noticing that it bulges in the middle section, just like a balloon. It’s not really bad, but if you’re planning to have it for an extended period of time, I believe the bulge will get even worse and more visible.

I am not disappointed with the product, it does the job and I will keep it in storage for guests if necessary.

Tried to inflate today for only the second time in 2 years – it is started to deflate as fast as the air was going in – cannot find a hole anywhere – it has been kept in its’ box in between times and then went to remove plug from wall socket and the top pin had snapped off and was stuck in the plug – so no a happy bunny today at all..feeling like it was a seriously expensive option and now we are going to be sleeping on the floor to night – hey ho!

Could have spent the same on a blow up mattress – this represents good value and as it can be deflated the room it is used in does not have to only be used as a spare bedroom. Bed inflated very quickly and held its shape very well. Would recommend making sure that deflation is fully completed before trying to re fold but we did get it to fit back in it’s box

We just moved into our new home and used this while we waited for our simba to be delivered. We were using this air mattress for a week and a half. It’s probably one of the best air mattresses I have ever used. Even tho it looks fully inflated you need to make sure the chambers are all full. When you sit on it and it doesn’t sink, it’s good. Normally you need to top them up every day but we went days and didn’t lose any air, and that’s with two adults using it. We will probably get the single one as well for visitors. Very happy with this mattress.

Purchased to use in rented holiday cottage that only had one bedroom. Had thought about something like this for a while but I was sceptical if it would be any good despite the good reviews. It arrived a day earlier than I was told- good start, only unpacked it when we got to the cottage, it was packaged well, looked at the instructions quickly, plugged it in and in around three minutes had a bed ready to use. I did put a mattress protector on it as I had read somewhere that they can get cold and then just the usual bedding. At first it does make a bit of noise when you shift around , especially on hard floors ( could try a mat or blanket under it next time) but I got used to it quickly and had six nights of good sleep. It is far comfier than I expected, it doesn’t sag in the middle due to the clever design and is more robust than I expected. It took around five or six minutes to deflate with the built in pump ,which is quite loud, and was impossible for me to fold up small enough to put back into the box it came in, so I will have to find a suitable hold-all. Overall I am very pleased with this bed, it’s worked well for what I wanted it for, I wish I had bought it sooner instead of my sofabed which is neither comfy to sit on or sleep i

It’s a good product very comfy. My issues are though that it is nothing as advertised.
First of all it is easy to inflate, using the built in pump. It takes more like 5 mins rather than the published 3 mins. No big deal, it’s still better than using a foot pump!

The dimensions are not as published, here are the ones I measured after inflating mine and thinking it looks small!
    145 (at best) x 190x 40 cm
Now that’s quite a difference, so I queried this with the seller and was told our products vary in size depending on how much air you put in and the vinyl will stretch after a couple of uses.
It still hasn’t stretched the 13cm to make it up to the advertised length!

Having said that though provided you are less than 6 foot tall it should be fine.
The bed it’s self is comfy.
The power cable and air pump are located at the foot of the bed

A good size, quite comfortable to sleep on and seems to hold its pressure over a few days – all good.
Inflation / deflation is a breeze with the built-in pump.
Like all these, good luck with trying to get it back in its box when deflated (toothpaste back in the tube?) — a pack bag of a suitable size would have been useful.
Only slight beef is the support pillars (which do seem to help support when sleeping) have a tendency to “pop” when regaining their shape if you roll over to a different position – a bit disconcerting but pluses outweigh minuses. All up happy with the purchase

First of all, I think the description should be altered to read ‘UK double bed size’ as this is not a king. That said, the bed is comfortable (more so if you put a blanket on beneath the bottom sheet or you will be cold all night). We bought it as a guest bed and had to use it ourselves for a week while waiting for our new bed to arrive. We slept fine once we sorted the extra blanket beneath us, and it will come in handy as an easily storable guest bed.

    OK, so
We had to buy this with a quick snap decision when we were still living at my parents and my dad got COVID. With no spare room, and my mom being disabled, my partner and I had to give up our bedroom so that he could self isolate. That first night we slept on the sofa, and that was not a good night
We jumped on amazon to buy a blow up. This is what we ended up choosing with only a few hours to get next day delivery. What a great choice it was!!
We then proceeded to use it for the 3 WEEKS straight that we had to all isolate for. The bed did bow out a bit, but retained its size and height (which I am most grateful for). Might I add that for the first few days we were deflating it and then re-inflating it, but gave up with that quickly so just left it up the whole time, only needing to re-inflate it slightly before bed!
*You have to blow it up and then reblow it up about roughly half an hour later. After that it’s good for the night.*
So then we’re all healthy again, my fiance and I are back in our own bed – all GOOD.
Then the house we are buying FINALLY goes through and we get the keys to move in. We give my old bed to our nephew (it was only a queen) and buy a brand Kingsize new bed. After having the size of the blow up, we couldn’t go back to a Queen!!
The only thing is, the bed will take a few weeks to arrive. So we use the blow up bed again.
Due to things going on around the house, we had to push back our bed delivery several times. At this point it has now been 3 MONTHS since we slept on a normal bed. We are STILL using the blow up bed and it is STILL going strong.
Comes to a week before our bed is due to arrive and unfortunately our cat rips a hole on the underneath of the blow up we use the sticky patches provided in the kit and they kinda work. We have to make sure they’re stuck down every night before bed, and sometimes if we didn’t check properly we wake up with our asses on the floor and our feet in the air! so we have to restick the patches and blow up the bed again.
Before this incident the bed was a solid 12/10 for providing us somewhere comfortable to sleep! Would definitely recommend, definitely worth the price! We didn’t realise we’d use it for almost 4 months straight in such a short amount of time and it did us proud.

Very good quality. Have bought several air beds over the years and all have failed after a short time. This air bed is definitely good quality. I weight 18 stone and needed a substantial air bed. It’s also high enough that you don’t feel as though you’re crawling on the floor to get into bed.
It has an internally fitted electric pump that inflates the bed in about three minutes.

  52. Anonymous says:

Served us well for six weeks while we stayed with family during a house move. We had to add air a couple of times but very comfortable indeed…. just like being in bed.
We used a fleece throw over the top of the mattress then a fitted sheet which helped to reduce sweating which you get with plastic airbeds. We also used our very nice sleeping bags . We used pillows that did not slip off because of a very clever raised edge.
My advise would be do not pump up too much because when two people lay on it it makes it even more pumped up and too bouncy.
Then you feel like you might roll off.
Deflates easily without the electric pump but the electric pump is great for getting out the last of the air when you want to store away.
Great for a guest bed to store… packs up really quite small.

Easy to inflate, but with a car pump it does take a few more mins.
We went camping with this on a cold night so this may have had an affect on this review but we found the following: It would be best to add a thicker layer to the bottom sheet as we felt the cold through the mattress. We also found we needed to put a bit more air in it every couple hours as the bed got softer throughout the night.
Other than this though, a very comfortable bed.

Folding it is difficult as the built in pump adds quite a lump to it. This of course does not really add too much of a problem to its use.

  54. Anonymous says:

In the short time I used this bed it was both easy to blow up and deflate due to the great little inbuilt pump,
It was comfortable and had a great night sleep on it. Once you have used it a few times it reaches its correct level as it obviously stretches when inflated so you have to top it up with air every so often.
Its also very durable, but sadly not cat proof, our cat got in the room before I had chance to deflate it one morning and basically shredded it. I was not happy and cannot in no way get a refund, I wouldn’t even try.
But as a temporary bed or for guests I cannot recommend this bed enough. Just keep tiddles away from it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEasy to inflate/deflate. First night, we woke up on the floor haha but think this was our fault entirely as we didn’t inflate it for long enough before getting on. Since then, it’s just held up better and better. If anything, it’s a little too firm but not an issue, it’s held it’s shape and we’re often camping out in the living room with it as a novelty for the kids before hopefully going camping later this year. There is an option to plug in and inflate/deflate it that way which is what we do. Topping the air up a few times prior to getting in which may be why its great through night. Also an option to blow up manually for actual camping trips. The plug is hidden away in a built in compartment at the bottom of the bed. Just wish I could pack it as good as it arrived as I’ve no idea how they got it to fit in the box it came in!! 100% recommend it.

I was surprised to how rigid this bed is, you could literally stand on it. I have had this for about 3 months now and dont have any issues. (only thing I dont like about it is the fact the it has a bump where you put your head, I prefer to have underneath my head to be flat).

One thing to keep in mind when you buy this is that the first time you inflate it, it may seem like it is losing pressure after a day or two, dont worry, that just the bed settling in, so you might need to top it up with inflation once or twice more when its new, but BE CAREFUL you dont over inflate it. Just follow the instructions!

This is a fantastic mattress. It’s so comfortable and supportive. The inbuilt inflation pump is so handy, no searching around for a separate pump. I’ve been using this nightly for the past 3 months while renovating a house. I would love to have to given this 5 stars but sadly the mattress developed some leaks in the seams and the patches supplied didn’t contain the air leak because of the position of the compromised seam. The company were excellent though and I have a replacement mattress arriving in 2 days. The customer service is excellent and, despite the air leaks, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this mattress.

This is a wonderful bed to be honest. I am having to stay at my parents for the month to help look after them. The only problem I have found is that if it is a cold night the air in the mattress gets cold. And although it is flocked i have had to purchase a topper with skirt to put over to add some padding and stop laying on cold mattress.

A layer of something on the mattress to add comfort and warmth it would be 10/10 but due to having to pay extra out for the reasons above it is a 7/10.

I have not folded it up so I am unable to comment on this

Have seen a lot of bad reviews for Blow Up Beds, but decided after a bit of investigation to go for this one. I blew it up as soon as it arrived and kept topping it up for a few days whilst is settled down. Have just used it on a weekend camping trip and did not need to top it up at all over three days. It is very well made and designed, there is no sagging and rolling into the middle, just an amazingly comfortable good night’s sleep.

Bought this for any visitors staying over. My daughter stayed over the night I got the bed & it is great that you have the built in pump although I personally think that the power cord could be longer for more ease of accessibility to socket. It took about 4 mins to fully inflate. My daughter said it was rather hard but she is used to a soft mattress and you can inflate it less if desirable. Has been used many times now & is still as good as 1st use. Never deflated throughout the night . Lovely high one too not like other cheap thin ones I’ve had before & ended up on the ground in the morning on. Highly recommend. Forgot to take pic sorry

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersJust come back from a weeks caravan holiday and we decided to use this instead of the cushions. I have fibromyalgia so comfort is everything to support the painful joints and muscles. We managed to get it in the space – just. It did creak as it squished up against the base frame though so maybe a double size would have been better! It’s important to point out that ideally the bed shouldn’t be brushing up against anything to ensure if doesn’t burst.
I’ve woken up each morning with little pain so am thrilled. We laid a memory foam over the top and it made it super comfy. Please note that the air bed will go down the first few times you use it. This is because the material stretches. All in all really happy with the bed. My only gripe is the pocketed finish on the top but this can be rectified with a memory topper.

Thought I’d share with anyone thinking of buying this that it’s worth reading the warning leaflet that comes with the bed. It advises not to be concerned if it seems to lose air the first few times, it’s just the plastic softening. I didn’t read the leaflet so thought the bed had a slow puncture, and ordered another ready to send back the first. Then we read the leaflet and realised there was nothing at all wrong with the first bed, so I’m now sending back the second (unopened) package. Anyway, it’s a great air bed, really comfy (though we put a duvet on the mattress for our guests just to make it a little softer) and I’m very happy to recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSo, lockdown happens and i need to shield from my wife who is a nurse – so i convert the dining room into a office/bedroom but i need a large bed. This air bed is the business! Easy to inflate (although a little noisy) – once inflated to size it needs very little attention – only 3 times have i put additional air into it over the last few months. Solid shape even when i’m on it and i’m a big fella, high enough off the floor that i don’t hurt knees getting up. Would advise to put some old carpet/rug/material underneath if you’re on hard floors as it can make a squeaky noise and the same reason to keep it slightly away from the walls. Amazing quality just wish it came with a bag to store with after. Excellent product and it’s a king size… yippee!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersDelivery as expected. Easy to inflate and as the seller said needs a little extra inflation occasionally when first in use (I presume this is to make the materials more pliable), this did not create a huge problem. Very comfortable. We purchased the king size with extra depth. Definitely contributes to comfort and access to both getting on/off the bed. The only niggle is the patches are hard to find. Mine were hidden under a flap in the box which could easily be discarded. They are similar to little notelets x 3 and loose; not in a plastic bag. I contacted seller regarding this. They were quick to reply. I searched the box and found them. I suggest they are put in a little bag and are included in with the air bed packaging. Definitely so far so good and would recommend.

Easy to use blows up in less than 4 minutes and is extremely comfortable I would say even more than a standard double bed with an air sprung mattress .Using the deflate function it removes all the air and can be folded into a small size so can be put back into the box and stored for future use.
Very happy with this inflatable mattress and it’s my permanent bed at the moment I have a bad back so I need a good firm mattress and I have a perfect night’s sleep on this and it does not hurt my back like I would expect but you can have it fully inflated and firm or less inflated and softer. I don’t have any negative comments about this bed it’s good value for the price and can easily fit 2 adults or an adult and 2 small children for camping or sleepovers
I would definitely recommend this bed for camping and if you need a spare bed for a relative to stay then this is perfect for you 5 stars all around

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis airbed exceed my expectations. It was quick to inflate, inflates nice and firm, we actually had to let a little air out. I used it for a week’s camping and am impressed. It keeps it’s shape really well and you don’t just roll into the middle and there is surprisingly little movement caused by your partners rolling around. The only thing which could be better is if it came with a bag, as it is a bit of a faff getting it back in the box

Purchased this for my adult daughter as she has been staying with us during this difficult time
and we wanted to buy a bed that wold not break the bank that would be comfortable, easy to blow up and could be packed away without taking up too much room. Well this certainly fits the bill in every way. We can get this all set up and covered with bedding in a matter of minutes. She absolutely loves. Well worth the money too. Very prompt delivery and would certainly recommend and use this buyer again. Thank you

I’ll admit I was a bit worried ordering it but I have to say it was a really good nights sleep. It blows up with its motor very quickly and is really quite high, pretty much like a standard bed. It’s nice and wide so my wife and I had lots of room. I suppose because if the tube design it didn’t sag in the centre as I’d been concerned about. My only criticism would be that the top surface isn’t really flat, there are large dimples where the tubes are so next time we’ll use a mattress topper to make it smoother. All in all it was a good buy and I’d recommend for a spare bed.

This is the best airbed I’ve ever used. It’s very big when inflated and inflates very quickly with a built in pump. The pumb can also be used to deflate the bed. The pump itself is noisy, but it’s inflated/deflated within 5 minutes. It’s extremely comfortable, infact more comfortable than my bed to be completely honest. I slept very comfortably on this bed. For the first few uses it will deflate a little, they even state this on the packaging, so do not be surprised or worry if that happens. Once you’ve used it a few times it doesn’t deflate at all. The only downside is price, but I think its worth spending that extra money. You get a high quality product that is comfortable, easy to put together (just plug it in and push a button) and you/whoever uses it will get a comfortable night’s sleep. Much better than the usual airbeds you buy from supermarkets that deflate.

I bought this bed for Xmas for my rather large mum and her partner to sleep on Xmas night. After a few jolly drinks it was very easy to inflate under the influence, I just grabbed it, plugged it in and the thing shot up in a couple of minutes, faster than my partner, not even giving me time to refill my glass. I threw some bedsheets on it and said ‘there you go mum’ enjoy. In the morning she was still there…. much to my dismay, however my friends were passed out on the sofa and said during the night they had to give her a hand up and literally roll her off of it to go to the toilet, although mother had drunk my entire drink stock for Christmas. They had to roll her on the floor (she is 74) so not used to bouncing out of bed. She did say though that it was thoroughly comfortable and stayed inflated all night, which is surprising considering her size, so I had a sheepish grin in the morning finding out she actually enjoyed her sleep albeit her nigh on suffocating her new partner (not sure how I feel about him yet) he’s as deaf as a post and if there was a puncture he wouldn’t of heard it. All in all a very good buy, easy to inflate when drunk, gets 5 stars from me, used it for the grandkids a few days after and packed all three of them on there, very good

Used as a guest bed, the manual does warn that the initial few times of use can cause deflating after some use. But once one has used it a couple of times (test sleep on it first I would recommend 🙂 ) it works excellent. Because of the size one should allow 3-4 minutes and yes, the inflation process is not silent ….. but it inflates well and keeps the air really well in. For proper deflation, make sure you push the air out of the bed completely so that it is easier to fold and store away..
Due to the fact that the head is resting on a slightly elevated part, it provides more comfort that I could imagine having been used to old fashioned air beds on on these one can have an easy (or entertaining) night in all comfort and is still compact enough to be stored in a bigger shopping bag for life to take with you somewhere. Can highly recommend this.

Absolutely brilliant bed! Guests that stayed on it (both in their late 60s) said how comfortable it was. They said you would never tell it was an air bed. These people are always very blunt and say exactly what they think so I don’t think they were trying to be polite!

I have lay on it myself and it is comfortable although I haven’t spent the night on it.

Took about 5 minutes to inflate, about the same to deflate.

Easy enough to fold back up but not to go back in the box. Will be getting a separate decorative box for it to live in though so not a major issue!

Unfolded it, plugged it in, 3 minutes later had a 5 foot bed, high enough to feel like a normal bed 🙂
The bed was comfortable, needing a little more inflation after the first day. The only issue is finding bedding big enough to stay tucked underneath. A super king flat sheet worked but the fitted ones weren’t long enough.
After use, reversing the pump worked really well and the bed was folded back into its box 10 minutes later. Folding back up to fit the box is a bit of a challenge, and there is no bag provided, so the box is the only option. Once in the box it is small and easy to store

Having downsized now that the family have grown up, we have less bedrooms for those high days and holidays when family and friends come to stay so after extensive research I decided to buy the Active Era Premium King Size Bed with built in electric pump and pillow. All I can say is WOW. The item was easy to unpack and lay out on the floor prior to inflating. It was just SOOO easy to inflate and really did just take the three minutes stated. I did lie on it briefly to test the comfort and can confirm that it really is comfortable – just like a real bed, not like an inflatable. My guests have also said how comfortable it is. Deflation just as easy and then folded to put back in the box ready for the next visit. Prior to this I had had a king size inflatable mattress that was just such a pain to inflate and deflate and the comfort level was just nowhere near the comfort of this item so I do have a good reference and comparison point. Well done – obviously not one of the cheaper household items to purchase but for the quality, ease of use and comfort of this item is is WELL WORTH the price. I would heartily recommend to anyone.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI use this for guests staying over. It is double size not king size-my double fitted sheet fits it perfectly.
its not very warm so I always put a blanket between the mattress and the sheet so my guest doesn’t freeze!
also it does deflate slightly throughout the night but not enough to decrease comfort. I would re commend nightly reinflation.
also I’ve been told it doesn’t sleep 2 people very well as every movement can be felt by the other sleeper- something to be aware of.
it is very easy to inflate: plug in, turn switch to inflate and the same for deflation. folding it up is a pain though: not sure it’ll ever fit in that box again.
overall I would recommend this for the odd guest if like me you do not have a guest room…

Golden Review Award: 184 From Our UsersI would not want to try to float on the sea with this thing. Some inflatable beds are great for splashing about in, but not this. For a start, you would need a long electricity cable and then I think if the pump got wet it would probably not work too well. That is a shame because I do like messing about on water.

Have you seen the advertisement for this on daytime TV? One of the shopping channels has them It’s full of high-energy dudes waxing lyrical about the benefits of this bed. Ha … enough to put you off your oolong, but hold fast young camper … not so quick to judge. It’s actually not too shabby, not too shabby at all.

It’s a bed. It gets knocked down. It gets put up again. It gets knocked down. It gets put up again. It ain’t never going to be kept down. I sleep a sleepy sleep. I sleep a snoozy sleep. I sleep a happy sleep. I sleep a sleep that reminds me of the good times. I sleep a sleep that reminds me of the best times.

It is, to be fair, an awesome piece of kit.

    All is good.

The only slight little drawback is that it is a veritable monkey puzzle to put back in the box. It’s heavy, it’s big, it simply will not go back into its little hole but gushes forth like a suppurating pustule from a volcanic constraint.

Go buy it … sleep on it … and get someone else to put it away

ay, there’s the rub, for in that inflatable sleep what dreams may come

I bought this to use whilst visiting my son for a few nights. Once taken out the box and spread out on the floor it was very easy to blow up. The cable and plug are stored in the pump which is part of the bed. the cable is a decent length and reached the socket with no problems. The bed inflated in about the advertised 3 minutes and was solid.

My wife and I both slept on it and there was a little bit of movement when the other one moved but nothing major. We both agreed that we had a decent nights sleep in the morning and that the mattress was comfortable and stayed up all night, though we did put a little more air in each night before we went to bed to ensure it was firm.

Overall I would say a good purchase after the first use, just hope it lasts 🙂

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersAlthough I haven’t slept on the bed yet, I did what I was told by the manufacturer to inflate it which I did in only take 3 mins, left it during the evening, had a lie on it and gave it a little more air. It is important to inflate it and give air a few times and then it should settle for you. So don’t just wait til you want to sleep on it before you try it. Then I deflated it the same way as I inflated it and again in about 2-3 mins. Mine is a king size but I will be sleeping on it at the end of October so I’ll let you know how I get on. It feels very comfortable just lying on it in the living room the day I received it. So hopefully it will be just the job. It is something you can take to someone’s house if you are staying and they are stuck for room or if you have a number of guests at your own home. Seems great quality and easy to assemble. Must confess couldn’t get it back in the box. I didn’t want to force it so I have used the Amazon box to put it in no problem. Just be sensible and it comes with a couple of repair patches if you need them in the future.

Love this air bed, so easy to inflate/deflate and really comfortable.
Perfect size (king size) and you have the added bonus of not being flung up in the air when the other person gets out OR rolling into each other in the middle of the night when the air bed has deflated
The height of the bed is also a bonus, none of us are getting any younger!!
We had family staying and so being the perfect hosts said they could have our bed, We used to have a similar air bed (for camping) but we couldn’t find it, so ended up buying this one, I wasn’t looking forward to inflating it every night and deflating it every morning BUT I have to say it was a breeze! Just plug it in and away you go!
If I had to come up with a negative it would be that you could do with a bag to store it in, its quite heavy and it would of been a help.
Another plus is you get good instructions and after care from Joshua (CEO) take them seriously, especially the inflating the air bed approx 2 hours before you use it then add a bit more air just before you get in.
    Price isn’t bad either!

Perfect inflatable bed for a week long stay with family who did not have enough extra beds for us all. It inflated within minutes to a very decent height – almost like getting in a normal bed. We inflated it 2 hours before bedtime and topped it up before the kids slept on it. My teenage kids slept on it together and we had no complaints and no arguments which is unusual! They liked it so much (it was in the sitting room and so they rather liked lying in bed watching TV…) that they asked if we could get one to use at home! During the week we topped it up every couple of nights before bedtime and it retained air all night. I would highly recommend this bed to anyone looking for an easy option for putting friends or family up. It inflates and deflates quickly (I did lean on it right at the end to get the last dregs of air out..) and it folded up well – not quite well enough to put back in the box but honestly didn’t expect to be able to.

What a fabulous product. I moved house and didn’t realise when buying a bed it could take up to 3 weeks to arrive.

I slept on this bed for 3 weeks and slept very well. I noted from other reviews that comments were made about the bed “losing air”. That is a fact, it loses a very small amount but for me irrelevant as I kept it plugged in and just added some air every 3 or 4 days. Only takes 2-3 minutes. One thing of note for me. It was March and the weather was cold and the bed surface was cold. I recommend putting a good mattress topper on it if using for a prolonged time like me.
Absolutely love this product. Quick to deflate and easy to store. Great buy.

This is a brilliant mattress and very comfortable. It inflates in a few minutes and the deflates almost as quickly. Just plug it in turn the dial and away you go. Brought it for a camping holiday as well as for when we have guests staying. I slept a week on it sharing with my 11 year old and although the first few days I had to add a little bit of air we’re only talking a 10 second bursts. It also lets you sleep “alone” and with this u mean you do not end up in the usual “dip” in the middle of the bed on top of the person next to you I would definitely recommend this as it’s like a normal bed and it’s ideal if you need a space saving extra accommodation for guests. It’s actually bigger than my double bed at home!

It is a good double/king size mattress with a flock top. This helps sheets to stop slipping. We used it for 4 nights camping last week and needed to add a top up of air each night, but the temperatures where variable and the company do advise that this may occur, especially in the first few uses due to stretch of material. It inflates quickly with the electric integral plug.

It is very comfortable, ideal for visitors and camping, we are happy with the look, quality of the product.

My sons girlfriend came over to stay for a few days and we hadn’t the room in his bedroom so bought this for them to sleep in our dining room. I have to say I think it’s the best thing I’ve ever bought through amazon! So easy to unpack, inflate and put away, you really can’t go wrong! After a few hours of first inflating it did need a minor top up but that’s to be expected and it really wasn’t a problem seeing as it was so easy to inflate. The plug stores away in the mattress itself so not hunting around for any connector if you’ve miss-packed it. My son was so impressed he wanted to sleep on it permanently. Would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone

Bought 3 of these airbeds and they are worth the money. We have 3 so we have spare beds for those that stay round, likewise if we are travelling somewhere we can take a comfy blow up bed with us rather than stay on a friends sofa or single bed.
We are currently doing up our house and have actually spent 5 nights in a row both on this double air bed. It is extremely comfortable, plenty of room for the two of us and we rarely had to pump it with additional air over the 5 nights.
From a customer service perspective, they company have been really helpful and friendly, plenty of instructions on how to look after the air bed, clean it, store it etc.
We have had plenty of airbeds before and they all deflate by the morning and you feel that you are mattress.
The cost is a lot more than other suppliers but I would say this company is worth the additional spend. Extremely quick to pump up and down, the only tricky part is getting it back into the box it arrives in, I would suggest that the company should provide a spare bag to cover the air-bed to protect it from dust etc particularly in the loft. That is my only critique.

Golden Review Award: 158 From Our UsersBought this air bed for when guests come to stay and my first guest could not have been more comfy or happy with it.
The bed stayed inflated for the whole 4 night stay – we added a tiny bit of air after the first night of use, which is to be expected I think.
It was actually more comfortable than my own bed!
The small, built in headrest means that pillows stay in place. The supports inside the bed made it feel like sleeping on a real bed (see photo for how it looks when made up). It’s a really good size and I have no qualms about pulling this out for when couple friends come to stay. I used loose sheets but they stayed in place due to the top surface texture, making it wrinkle free in the morning. The height is the same as a standard bed, making getting in and out very easy (and less awkward than a low air bed).
Also, the service was impeccable. I had personal emails checking that I was satisfied and if the company could be of any help both before and after my bed arrived.
I cannot recommend this bed or this company highly enough! A great buy.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI had previously slept on an air bed when visiting my son in London and had a good night’s sleep, so I was fairly confident that this would be a good buy.
It was better than expected. You just plug it in and wait for 3 minutes while it inflates and deflating is just as quick and easy. It is nice and deep, making it easier to get off, the flock covering on the top holds the sheet firmly in place and the pockets keep the air evenly distributed over the whole bed, so if you move around, the whole bed does not wobble like a jelly.
All in all, well worth the money for a guest bed that can be folded down into a large shopping bag for storage.
P.S. I also received an email a few weeks after purchase with a few hints on the best way to inflate, deflate and pack away and store the air bed. Very helpful.

Golden Review Award: 133 From Our UsersThe item was promptly delivered, totally corresponding to the description. Indeed in 3 minutes the bed is totally inflated and ready for the usage. Really comfortable and spacious bed (and putting a single duvet on top of the bed, under the bed-sheet, will enhance further the comfort).
Possible to deflate totally, without putting any effort, in about the same 3 minutes – let the pump do the job. The level of noise of the pump is equivalent to a hoover’s noise in the mode above mid-capacity. Enough to close the door and wait for 3 minutes to spare your ears. Anyway, a priceless gain in time in comparison to trying to inflate the airbed with the foot pump.
Extremely friendly, attentive and professional vendor with excellent communication and business practices (I had a minor issue with the bed, which I highlighted to the vendor when being prompted to leave a standard feed-back after my purchase. I was amazed and truly appreciated the way this concern was handled: the bed was replaced within 2 days without me even asking for the replacement. I was also suggested to keep the original bed).
Thus based on my personal experience I am truly satisfied both about this comfortable product, which I’ve been using regularly for several months during my business trips, and the exemplary attitude of the vendor. Buy with confidence!

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersSo far so good. It lost some air overnight (very little), but on the manual it’s stated that plastic expansion is normal in a new bed and when it settles it just works fine.
The pump is superb, and I like that it’s inside the bed (no cables dangling around, but packed tidily inside an internal pocket in the pump body). The valve for manual inflation is a plus, because if by any chance the built-in pump fails or I don’t have electricity I will be able to pump it up (with either electrical or manual pump, that’s good).
Comfy, non-slippery surface (the bed linen does not keep sliding off if you move), no plasticky noises when you turn, no air cylinders that hurt your back if the bed is overinflated. It sounds funny but it’s not: I think some visits will be happier to visit next time than when they used the old camping inflatable bed!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersHow can you “rave” about an inflatable bed? Strangely I do! I have told so many people just how good/comfortable this bed is. Being electric means that it is both simple to inflate AND (equally as important) deflate. We have had several guests come to stay who have all said that this is more comnfortable than their own bed at home!

Golden Review Award: 78 From Our UsersGreat value. This truly is very comfortable, we had family staying over for weekend and they loved it – would’ve happily slept on it myself. It’s really quick to inflate and deflate.
Word on sheet sizing, it’s very deep (a good thing) so I bought a super king fitted sheet because I couldn’t find any deep ones and it worked great.

Golden Review Award: 182 From Our UsersBought this bed a few months ago and held off writing a review to test its durability. So far, after several house guests – and several inflations/deflations and storage periods in between – the mattress is holding up well. Does not noticeably deflate overnight. If used for several days, may need topping up after about 3 days, but this is to be expected with any air mattress.

It is a good height (similar to a ‘proper’ bed), which makes it comfy for longer stays or for guests that might struggle getting into and out of something closer to the ground.

Mechanical inflation and deflation is very handy and easy to use. Cord tucks neatly into the mattress both when inflated and deflated, and it is relatively straightforward to fold the mattress back into the box once finished.

A storage bag/tote would have been nice, as the box is starting to get a bit beaten up, but otherwise we are thrilled with our purchase!

Golden Review Award: 57 From Our UsersIts a fantastic air bed. Up in no time and de-flated in no time Easily fits one adults and 2 children. Nice and high like a proper bed – as compared to those low lying ones. Worth every bit of money.

Golden Review Award: 81 From Our UsersPurchased two of these, to help with the growing family visits. They have performed well so far and have been the best nights sleep on an air bed to date. They fold up well and after a few attemps you will make a better job of it. The storage bag supplied could in my opinion be sightly larger.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersArrived on the day it was due and sent from UK to France so am very happy as unable to purchase anything that seems as good or has as good reviews or is as reasonably priced here. Set it up to test a few days ago and as per the instructions the in-built electric pump works well, I used it with a continental adaptor here in France. It takes about 3 mins as described. Very comfortable, it has been up for 4 days now and it does lose a bit of air overnight, especially if it is cold and it is a bit chilly here at the moment and we have a tiled floor, but easy to inflate a bit before use again. So far very happy, haven’t used it for camping yet, so my post further when I have tried this, but won’t be until next summer! (So much better already than one my other half paid 40 for in Decathlon last summer, which is a small double and ridged across and much thinner – it really was the most rubbishy and uncomfortable thing giving me dreadful backache – we ended up using an old air mattress that deflates on top and still horrid). I am now very much looking forward to camping next year and using this new, comfortable air bed with my new Snugpak 5 sleeping bag. I hope it fits in my tent – should do the small double has loads of extra room around it (3 man sleeping compartment) and the tent is tall enough to stand up in so no problem with the height of this. It is also going to be super useful for guests, we have a spare bedroom at present, but this may change, so we didn’t want to purchase another bed and have no where to put it – this will solve the problem perfectly. So far so good – would recommend.
