Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is the first time we use it while we visited my friend and stay in their house. The quality, comfort and weight of the sleeping bag are quite impressive. Unfortunately, we found minor QA improvement should be made what make us worry about we will loss it after use it in few times.

4.0 out of 5 stars Minor improveme

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt was ok for the summer nights. But one night in August it got a bit chilly and need a blanket.
But for a 30 or so sleeping bag it’s ok. Very light and compacts down well.

This sleeping bag isn’t amazing but it’s fine for summer months and the occasional use. It is nice and comfy and lightweight but for proper hiking ect I would personally invest in a higher quality bag

Purchased 2 of these as an upgrade to basic sleeping bags we’ve had for a while.
They felt quite thin at first and I wasn’t convinced they’d keep us warm overnight camping but I was pleasantly surprised, really comfortable and warm. Both myself and my daughter slept through the night and woke up warm and dry in the morning which is the first time camping that we haven’t woken through night cold so very happy with purchase

A really neat product that’s easy to take away. Simple to pack and nice and cosy.

Bought this for my son to take on a PGL trip. He loved sleeping in it. Said it was warm and soft. AND it took a week of pre-teen kids beating it up without so much as a hole or stuck zipper. If you want a warm sleeping bag that won’t fall apart on a camping trip, this is definitely your choice.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was in Finland photographing wild bears wolverines and wolves. This sleeping bag kept me warm while in the hides, light weight that it was easy to carry with my kit. Unfortunately it was lost with the rest of my luggage at Edinburgh. If I don’t get my baggage back I will definitely buy another one.

This is a great sleeping bag. Super warm, but very lightweight and rolls up nice and compact. The material is comfortable to sleep in, it’s not too hot like sleeping in a garbage bag the material is more breathable.

I really like this sleeping bag, it’s very soft to the touch and seems very well made, and for some reason, it makes way less of a rustling sound when moving around than any other sleeping bag I’ve ever had.

All the zips and toggles work really well, the zips run very smoothly.

It’s not particularly warm, I would only really want to use it in the warmer months.

For 30 this is ideal for festivals, warm enough for a night or two with clothes and cheap enough to dispose of if you wanted; however i wouldnt use this for more than 2 nights as in the north east of england its still pretty cold and it just isnt enough. It was comfortable to sleep in with wiggle room, being able to unzip into a blanket is handy too. It wasnt a massive faff packing it back into the bag and is lightweight to carry. For the price the quality is good but this is definitely a summer/autumn sleeping bag, not full year use.

Excellent sleeping bag/quilt, it’s well padded 250GSM) with 210T waterproof polyester shell and has anti snag zips. I’d say it’s warm enough for spring camping, not so sure about the coldest months though. The drawstring hood makes it adjustable and it has an internal pouch for valuables. It also has a compression storage bag with carry handle. This is a very long sleeping bag with generous width that can be opening up to use as a quilt. My son is 6 foot 3 inches and he’s used it in the living room whilst his room was being painted. He found it to be generously sized and comfortable but deducted a star for the lump in the padding that he couldn’t get straightened out. It’s priced at 31.99 and I think the quality is reasonably matched to price, in the sense that I do think it’s at the top end of what I’d pay for it.

    Good sleeping bag

This is a compact and light sleeping bag that doubles up as a double blanket. You can even attach an extra sleeping bag to make it a double.
As the price suggests (29.99 at the time of writing) this sleeping bag is for warmer climates and not necessarily for harsh winter months where it can get bitingly cold. It is probably most suitable for us southern softies that let their kids occasionally camp in their back garden in the spring-summer months.
Comfortable, soft and just the right side of waterproof my kids love it.

Very good quality sleeping bag suitable for most seasons. It’s warm, yet lightweight and comes in a storage bag, that for once, is easy to get it back into! The bag also compresses it so that it ends up approx 22 x 36cm once in the bag.

The sleeping bag material is waterproof and rip resistant, the zip is double sided and doesn’t snag (a particular bugbear of mine). It has a hollowfibre lining, which is warm but breathable, so no more sweaty sleeping bags!
The zip goes all the way around so it can be opened to a double duvet which is a must for us, as aside from camping, we also use our sleeping bags in the caravan as duvets, so this is perfect.
There’s also a drawstring hood that you can pull up, making it extra snug. It’s big and would comfortably fit most adults (my husband’s 6′ 2″ and he fits in fine).

An added useful feature is the inner pocket – ideal for keys, wallet etc or anything you might need to keep close by when sleeping. I haven’t seen that before and think it’s a really good idea.

It’s comfy, warm, lightweight to carry and machine washable. Thoroughly worth the price. I recommend this and would happily purchase more to replace our other ones. Very impressed.

This is a lightweight sleeping bag, good for spring, summer and autumn, although I wouldn’t want to have to use it in winter, even over here in the UK. It is lightweight but that also means it won’t keep the cold out. Perfect for fair weather or warm camping though.

Nice and cosy, it fits round your body and the hood can be drawn in so it properly encompasses your head. Decent space inside so if you are a roller when you sleep you should be jsut fine.

It is also designed to be unzipped and used as a duvet if you wanted to which is good. Small pocket included inside too, ideal for phone.

It rolls up super small as well and has a storage bag. Both very useful.

    Good bag!

This sleeping bag is warm and comfortable. It has a hollow temperature regulating material which allows you to be warm. The material is waterproof and doesn’t rip easily. The bag is incredibly durable and when placed on uneven surfaces it is very comfortable and provides a nice position. It’s got easy sliding zippers and is incredibly lightweight making it super easy to just toss in your bag and go traveling with this.

it is easy to setup and is comfortable

This sleeping bag is great quality and excellent value. Quite compact too so does not take up much space when not in use. It’s easy to set up and maintain as it can be machine washed. Currently retailing for 29.99 at time of review, which is not bad for the quality.

This bag is pretty comfortable, zips up nice and snug, but like most sleeping bags can also open up.
This sleeping bag worked well on a nice late spring evening. However it was about 10c outside and it seemed fine. However as the temperature dropped it was too cold to stay out in this and a case of sleep indoors with it (which was fine).
So I think a warm weather sleeping bag, I think 3c is a bit unrealistic – survivable perhaps, but certainly not comfortable.

The sleeping bag is very lightweight so ideal for transporting in your back pack. The actual sleeping bag is quite thin but is very comfortable and does keep you cosy. I really wanted a sleeping back which would not get dam with the dew when camping outside, so it began to rain so I tested out the waterproofness of this sleeping bag. The rain was reasonably heavy and the sleeping bag did repel the water like water of a ducks back. so I was impressed with this. The sleeping bag did have damp patches internally around where the stitches are, so this may not be ideal, it wasn’t drastically bad but it was definitely damp. Overall I’m impressed with the warmth and how comfortable this sleeping bag is and the waterproofness is pretty good. So I would highly recommend it.

So the pictures show the hood is rigid? and that the outer material is different ?
The whole bag is soft and the hood is not like that, the hood has a draw string to tighten it up but it doesnt stand up the way pictured.
The rest of the sales page seems accurate.

Its a very light and soft bag that can be unzipped to become a double quilt.
It does feel nice and snug, keeping me warm
Water does bead off the surface
Comes with its own carry bag

Well worth the buy at the current price

I really liked this sleeping bag. It was a lot comfier than the sleeping bags I’ve had in the past and can also be used a double blanket. Sleeping bag material is important to me as I find I often sweat from certain materials, I’m happy to say that this material hasn’t made me sweat and it was actually a decent night sleep!

It comes in a handy drawstring carry bag which is very useful for travelling or just storing it away.

The quality itself is really nice and feels decent for the 30 price tag. Overall, a really nice affordable option.

This is a good sleeping bag. It’s well made, with no missed stitches and a smooth-running zip, with non-snagging features. There is a hood with a draw-string to keep you really cosy. although the hood could be slightly bigger and a small internal pocket to store anything such as your mobile phone or even medication, if required. It’s a long sleeping bag as well, so good if you’re tall.

You can use it as a sleeping bag, but it can also be fully opened out, to use it as just a cover, or you can zip two sleeping bags together as well. It is lovely and warm, but not too warm, so I think you would need something else for really cold conditions. It’s fully washable and dries quickly. It’s light-weight and can easily be rolled to fit back into its carry bag, which is surprisingly small.

At the time of writing this review, the cost is 29.99, and it’s worth every penny.

I can’t be sure of its weight, but it’s light. The sleeping bag feels great in the hand, the workmanship is fine with no loose threads and the zipper doesn’t get stuck. It is very lightweight and ideal for backcountry camping and climbing. I love that it can be rolled into such a compact size, perfect for carrying around.
If you’re looking for a chunky sleeping bag, then it probably isn’t. I’m not sure if it will be winter-friendly, it’s soft on the back, but it’s not very thick.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFor just under 30 this is a decent Sleeping Bag by Active Era and whilst this is not of the same quality of those we already own which were considerably more expensive – for freezing winter conditions – for the unconventional use I wanted one for this Active Era one is perfect.

My mum in her 90s constantly complains about being cold around her legs regardless of the heating or weather and although we can wrap her up in blankets this isn’t really practical if she needs to get up for any reason. So just randomly I thought why not try her with one of our sleeping bags, see if she could cope getting in and out and how warm it was for her. Well the experiment was a success after we fitted a chunky cord to the zip so she could get up when needed and with a little patience get back in and zip back up, although they weigh a fair amount so a few hiccups with practicality.

The Active Era Sleeping Bag is much lighter, easy for her to use the zips with an added cord, and is keeping her snuggly and warm and she has had her first evening without needing the heating on at all and when I went in to see how she was doing a couple of hours later she was fast asleep still in the bag. So whilst it is getting used in an unconventional way I can confirm that the bag is well made, easily accommodates my 5ft 4″ size 14 frame comfortably and could easily accommodate somebody a lot taller. Finished to a good standard for the price and I can actually get it back in it’s carry bag with a little persuasion.

The images provided by the seller are accurate, so please refer to those where necessary.

This is a good quality sleeping bag that would be great for a first camping sleeping bag or for kids sleepovers. The bag is relatively thick; it would probably be rather cold if using this in the winter, but should serve the purpose for most people’s needs. I was very impressed at how compact the bag folds up to be, a lot less bulky than my previous sleeping bag and so ideal for backpacking / DofE as well. The product is well made, and if i had to give one negative it is that the hood could be slightly larger to allow it to wrap around your head better and keep your head slightly warmer.

    Highly recommended!
