Una Garanzia
Ormai due anni fa ho iniziato a sperimentare con la domotica volendo rendere sempre pi connessa la casa. Inutile dire che gli apparecchi tado sono stati dei compagni di viaggio da due anni fa fino ad ora.
All’inizio ero stato catturato grazie ad un’offerta per il cyber monday e da li ho detto proviamo come vanno. Inutile dire che mi sono trovato benissimo.

FACILITA’ DI INSTALLAZIONE
I controller si installano con assoluta facilit tramite l’applicazione ufficiale Tado e seguendo le istruzioni (che sono chiare e dettagliate) si riconosce tramite una foto il controller posseduto in modo tale che Tado si possa interfacciare correttamente con lo splitter. L’unico neo che posso trovargli che il connettore alla presa elettrica un po’ ingombrante e quindi difficile mascherarlo se non utilizzando le spine dietro qualche mobile. I dispositivi si possono anche attaccare al muro o ad un’altra superficie tramite gli adesivi presenti nella scatola (finora il dispositivo pi vecchio ormai appeso da circa due anni e per il momento non da segno di staccarsi).
La connessione al wifi nel mio caso avvenuta senza problemi e non ho mai avuto problemi di disconnessioni.

CONNESSIONE
Al dispositivo per essere connesso senza problemi al condizionatore serve che sia posto quasi esattamente di fronte allo splitter altrimenti il segnale non viene trasmesso correttamente (esattamente come con il telecomando originale).

UTILIZZO
Facile da utilizzare tanto che una volta programmato (cos come si farebbe per un termostato) ce ne si dimentica e si fa fare tutto a lui in automatico.
Principalmente utilizzo l’app ufficiale anche se molte volte preferisco controllare tutto da apple home kit (integrando il sistema in scene personalizzate).
Per il resto l’app ufficiale sicuramente molto pi completa delle possibilit disponibili su home kit cosa che ho trovato scomoda in quanto se volessi cambiare la modalit del mio condizionatore da Home Kit posso cambiare solo su tre posizioni: Aria Condizionata, Pompa di Calore o OFF mentre dall’app posso impostare anche il deumidificatore ed il semplice ventilatore.

ASSISTENZA
Mi capitato una volta di rivolgermi all’assistenza tado per un problema nell’installazione e normalmente in circa 15min mi hanno sempre risposto in modo esaustivo tramite chat dal loro sito ufficiale.

Works best as part of larger Tado system
Relatively easy to install if your original TRVs are compatible with the converters. Some of my TRVs were not compatible so found a workaround on their support forums to cut down a converter pin. Seems to work fine.
Biggest issue is the tado valves’ thermometer is inaccurate when the radiator heats up. It takes a bit of trial and error to get a relative setting on your schedules so if you want 20c then I had to set to 22c. Yes there is an offset but that causes a problem at the other end where the heating will come on too early as set to 16c overnight but wil then trigger at 18c with the offset feature. Basically it works a lot better with a separate room thermostat but gets expensive.
So for bedrooms and the like just set it higher to heat.
And check TRV compatibility before purchase.
Other than those points it’s worked well with the wider tado system being able to heat different areas of the house to separate schedules and temperatures and hopefully reducing energy usage along the way.

Tado smate Klimaanlagensteuerung
Da ich schon einige Tado Heizkrperthermostate habe, wollte ich auch die mobile Klima ber das System steuern.
Dass diese Steuerung aber ausschlielich ber WiFi funktioniert und nicht ber das Gateway erschliet sich mir nicht. Das wre ber das Gateway besser, aber funktioniert auch so.
Anmeldung in der App, und dann schrittweisen Anlernen der Klimaanlage ging problemlos.
Messgenauigkeit des Raumsensors ist auf den Punkt genau mit meinem Funksensor fr die Heizung von Tado. Htte ich so nicht erwartet, aber top. Nur reagiert die Klimasteuerung bei Temperaturnderungen schneller. Aber das ist ok.
Fr mich eine Bereicherung fr meinen Klimakomfort.
1 Stern Abzug wegen dem Recht hohen Preis. Aber wer auf ein Schnppchen wartet, findet dann ein gutes Gert.

Working well
So they are a straight replacement for my old drayton trv4s, so didn’t need the numerous plastic parts supplied for other trvs. Simple to use and set up. Bit bulky compared to the old drayton valves. Seem to work fine with controller, early days but does seem to keep temperature to the max setting but I may need to read up on that and tweak. People at tado support answered some pre purchase question for me.

Prodotto top, ma non del tutto
Ottimo prodotto, funziona bene, ha un buon design, ottimi materiali compatibilit con Apple Homekit controllo della temperatura da remoto, blocco bambini, possibilit di creare pi utenti sul applicazione proprietaria.

Ha il grosso difetto (a parer mio) che le funzoni “pi interessanti” con i vari automatismi tipo che vengano spenti i caloriferi quando si esce di casa sono disponibili solo in abbonamento….
(sono facilmente ricreabili utilizzando un assistente vocale ma ad un prezzo del genere non mi aspettavo di dover poi pagare anche un abbonamento….)

Life change
Previous to having a system like this, I found the idea a bit of a gimmick, however the remote on my standard thermostat got damaged so I decided to upgrade.

The item that this review is about is the basic piece of kit that connects to your internet and boiler to allow you to control/set schedules/get notifications if you’re away from home and the heating is on etc. the real magic is with the radiator attachments. These are sold separately and are quite expensive, but in my opinion are a must (you can control rooms temperature’s individually)

The set up of the software was very easy, as well as integration with Alexa. The hardest part is hard wiring to the boiler. This was only because I didn’t know which cables to attach to each port. I asked an electrician friend who told me and it took me 1 minute to install.

I did get quotes for a professional and it was 120-140 which is quite a lot on top of the system and the radiator attachments.

I got all of my stuff on Black Friday so I would say value for money, standard price can be quite expensive, especially if you have to pay for installatio

Easy to install, simple to program. Great HomeKit integratio
Brilliant system, installation took 15 minutes and decent instructions were provided. I’ve added the reading or valves as well.
Once installed added everything to Apple HomeKit and tied it to my existing automations. In less then 90 minutes I’d got all of my heating automated.

Das System ist nicht fr Einrohrheizungssystem einsetzbar.
Das haben ich vorher nicht gewut.

Die Einrichtung ist nervig.
Ich vermisse ein Beipackzettel mit klaren Anweisungen, Schritt 1, Schritt 2, Schritt 3 usw.

Ein Ventil passte nicht, da der Ventilstift zu lang war.
Das hin und her mit dem scannen, App einrichten, manuelle Eingabe von Daten etc. nervt einfach nur.
Bei der Einrichtung ist die Reihenfolge wichtig.
Auch das man die Aufkleber aufheben muss wird erst viel spter klar. Sowas gehrt einfach mitgeteilt gleich am Anfang.
Dann sind die Heizungen auf einmal kalt, keiner wei warum, auch hier die Informationen nicht an der Stelle wo man sie braucht. Dabei wre es so einfach.

Um es klar zu verdeutlichen, ich habe einen Handwerker im Haus und bin Systemadministratorin, also ich wei durchaus was ein Router und eine IP Adresse sind und wie diese einzurichten sind.

Der Preis ist einfach schwachsinnig. Hier wird nicht berechnet was es kostet sondern was die Kunden bereit sind zu bezahlen.

Ho acquistato queste Teste Termostatiche come integrazione dopo aver provato il funzionamento del Kit di base Tado (termostato + ricevitore + bridge)

Installazione e configurazione tramite app semplicissime, permettono di configurare un riscaldamento personalizzato in ogni stanza per diverse fasce orarie, definibili dall’utente, in base alle proprie esigenze.
Se sono presenti pi valvole e/o il termostato Tado nello stesso locale, lavorano insieme determinando la temperatura media della stanza.

Sicuramente non economiche dovrebbero comunque ripagarsi in tempi non troppo lunghi. Se le trovate in offerta prendetele al volo!

Attenzione che possono essere installate SOLO su termosifoni con valvole termostatizzabili (non sono compatibili con quelle vecchio stampo). Io ho colto l’occasione per fare cambiare quelle dei miei radiatori da un idraulico.
In base al modello di valvola ci sono degli adattatori specifici che trovate all’interno della confezione.
Per qualsiasi dubbio comunque sul sito Tado o tramite assistenza c’ una lista di compatibilit con le valvole delle varie marche.

Bought as part of a larger Tado system. Very impressed.
Overall, five stars, because it works really well. For value, hard to say, but the outlay was significant in total for the system and it will be difficult to assess any savings made through Tado alone.

But I do like the system very much. Our old dumb thermostats were all defective and did not function as thermostats after 33 years, just simple on/off knobs. So replacing them with these smart valves was a revelation. Now the radiators are controlled properly, and accurately, with proper temperature sensing instead of vague, meaningless numbers on a dial.

At first I just installed seven new TRVs with the bridge, but two days later I added the smart wired thermostat to replace or dumb timer/thermostat. Now the control of the system is so much more refined. Any room can request the boiler to turn on, even if the main hall thermostat is already up to temperature. Switching from simple mains on/off relay to e-Bus control now means that there is a lot more intelligence to the heating operation all round.

I feel that Tado really puts us (well, me) back in control. I now know exactly what is going on with the heating and can fine tune room settings and insulation to maximise cost savings without sacrificing comfort. For a gadget nerd like me (or anyone else economically minded) this system is great.

It works grea
This little GEM works a treat on my Toshiba air con, no more worrying that it’s been left on, simply check the APP. However don’t use the remote that came with the unit as the Taco unit doesn’t receive it only transmits a signal, so stick it in a drawer and don’t use it. I’ve had no issues with it. switch it to my desired temp for a set time and set the schedule on a base temp so once the timer runs out the unit reverts back to whatever setting you want to leave it o

Excelent, but standard ac features missing
Excelent controller, easy to install, setup and get up and running.
However, homekit integration is a bit lackluster, and in both homekit gadget and standalone app, there are some glaring features missing, like ability to set swing on ac, and fan only mode, etc…

Can cool house with my voice and then in air con before arriving home.
Works great. I already had one from before. That was awkward to set up and I needed a lot of help from support to get it working properly-they were great though. These next three were super easy to set up once I knew what to avoid doing wrong. Can talk to my air conditioner via Siri now-although for full functionality and options (fan speed-swing-dry mode) I need to go via tado app. I guess that limitation is Apple’s area to improve upon.

App control is wonderful but Pad’s touch sensor is not sensitive.

Il Controllo Climatizzazione Intelligente Tado V3+ permette di controllare tramite smartphone il proprio condizionatore. Il design del prodotto moderno e discreto, si adatta a qualsiasi ambiente.

Non mi fa impazzire che per ottenere tutte le funzioni opzionali sia necessario sottoscrivere un abbonamento tramite Tado.

Le funzioni gratuite, al momento, sono:
– Rilevamento Finestra Aperta e Geolocalizzazione (tramite Notifica-push)
– Benessere Ambientale (visualizzabile tramite app, permette di conoscere la percezione di comfort della stanza in cui installato il Tado, tramite rilevazioni di temperatura e umidit)
– Programmazione Intelligente (permette di impostare la temperatura, con relative opzioni di funzionamento, secondo le fasce orarie e giornaliere che preferiamo)
– Grafici dettagliati (permettono di visualizzare la temperatura e la percentuale di umidit, oltre alle fasce orarie di accensione e spegnimento del climatizzatore)
– Integrazione Dati Meteo (visualizzazione tramite app dell temperatura e qualit dell’aria all’esterno della propria abitazione).

Funziona con tutti i climatizzatori dotati di telecomando a infrarossi con display per la selezione delle varie funzioni di controllo (temperatura, velocit, modalit di funzionamento).
compatibile e funziona con l’Assistente Google, Amazon Alexa e HomeKit di Apple. Io personalmente non amo utilizzare HomeKit di Apple con questo dispositivo, in quanto non permette una regolazione soddisfacente come l’app Tado.

Ho riscontrato alcuni problemi di installazione con due dispositivi che non proseguivano con la configurazione: problematica Tado di alcuni modelli (ho contattato personalmente Tado per risolvere questo problema, ahim non risolvibile se non con una sostituzione del prodotto).

Nella confezione sono inclusi: cavo e caricatore entrambi bianchi (di discreta qualit) e due strisce bi-adesive.

Très bien pour homekit mais...
Ce boitier cote cher mais il permet de contrler un climatiseur tlcommande infrarouge depuis Homekit.
Oubliez l’application de base, qui ne sert qu’ l’installation, et passez aux automatisations Homekit. Oubliez surtout le mode thermostatique de cette application qui contrle en mode on/off les climatiseurs inverter, c’est trs mauvais pour ce genre de machine.
Mais grce l’application gratuite Controller, disponible dans l’App Store, vous pouvez grer de manire automatique, sur changement de temprature par exemple, le rglage de votre climatisation. Cette application permet de gnrer des scnarios Homekit de manire simple avec des conditions. Le botier fonctionne trs bien. La porte infrarouge est bonne, 5m sans problme. Avec Homekit vous pourrez rgler le mode (chaud, froid, teint), la temprature de consigne. Il manque, comme signal par d’autres, les contrles Homekit suivants: dry, fan, puissance de ventilation, inclinaison du volet.
Ce qu’il manque, en dehors de certaines fonctions Homekit, c’est l’affichage permanent de la temprature mesure. Le botier tant aliment en permanence, ce ne devrait pas tre un problme pour le fabricant d’ajouter cette fonction. Le passage du cble d’alimentation l’arrire est assez mal pens aussi.
Bref, des dfauts, mais aussi plein de qualits.

No es el mejor producto Tado...
Sera injusto decir que es un mal producto, pero es verdad que es el aparato de Tado que me parece menos “satisfactorio”…

La instalacin es igual de sencilla que el termostato de calefaccin y funciona casi igual. Igualmente cuenta con IFTTT, HomeKit y el resto de “juguetes”.

El problema empieza porque los aires acondicionados son de su padre y su madre cada uno, y hay miles de modelos. El Tado “aprende” el manejo del mando, pudiendo operarse por “funciones” (manejar tu el ventilador, modo, etc), o en “mode termisttico” en el que eliges una configuracin de frio y de calor que te guste fija y que “salte” por temperatura (como la caldera). EL PROBLEMA: si tu AC coincide que no lo maneja, hay poca solucin… De tres probados, en mi caso, uno perfecto, uno regular y uno inmanejable. (Ms o menos igual de mal que el Harmony de Logitech).

Programar el mando es ms sencillo que en otros sistemas (y la UX mola mucho), y si coincide que tu aire es compatible, est muy bien (como el resto de cosas de Tado).

Ms cosas: es tctil, requiere conectarlo a la red (a diferencia del Tado “normal” que adems es ms grande que este, y de serie viene con la app V3+, aunque si tienes aparatos previos (v3 o v2) te lo van a anclar a la app antigua y te van a pedir 13 o 19 para actualizar (lo respeto pero me parece un atraco).

EN RESUMEN: muy buen producto, como todos los de Tado, pero por su tipologa especial puede que con tu AC vaya regular o directamente no vaya.

Amazing control
This is an amazing product . and the installation was so fast… I was a bit scared as my a/c are from the Philippines but they were all recognized immediately.

Just one bad point, the usage on the remote itself (so not with siri / tado app) is not easy at all… the touch screen is not responsive enough and the navigation is hard.

Works great with Apple Homekit, however room humidity doesn’t show up in the main homekit icon/button.
– You’ll need to allow a few minutes for firmware update during setup.
– USB cable should be a bit thinner for the perfect wall mount.

Fantastic piece of kit.
Aesthetically good and works brilliantly. Internet bridge connection to router just a plug in and 2 thermostats( upstairs and downstairs) replaced two older wired thermostats. I followed on line instructions for thermostat connections and was straight forward. You can arrange for a professional to do this.
Everything working great and the app on phone/tablet is excellent.

A must have for every home
Superb temperature control- gone are the days of overheating or over coola by your house (controls temperature to within 0.1C!). Geofencing to detect when you’re home and when not, saving you money and always coming back to a warm house, radiator valves to control each room independently, so having the ideal temperature & schedule for your living area, bedroom etc without having to install dedicated multi zone heating. Simply amazing!
