Amazon Basics 19-Inch (48 cm) Two-Door Top-Load Pet Kennel

Safe travels

Whether it’s an adorable Yorkie or a graceful tabby, conveniently get your furry friend from point A to point B with this Amazon Basics pet kennel. Designed to keep your pet safe, secure, and comfortable when travelling, the 23-inch (58 cm) kennel works well for anything from trips to the dog park or hiking trails to routine visits to the vet.

Smart 2-door design

Thoughtfully designed, the pet kennel features two doors, one in the front and one on the top, which means twice as many options compared to most kennels for getting little fluffy calmly into her kennel. Easy entry helps promote a less stressful experience – for both you and your pet.

Convenient features

For added convenience, the top door can be opened to the left or right. Simply pull one of the two black handles forward to release, then lift and swing to the side to open the door. The door on the front of the kennel features a spring-loaded latch. Pinching together the top and bottom levers of the latch and pulling forward allows the door to gently swing open.

Heavy-duty design

Made of durable plastic with a steel-wire front door, the Amazon Basics two-door top-load pet kennel offers strength, security, and visibility, along with plenty of ventilation on the sides, top, and back of the kennel.

Perfect for guinea pig journeys and metal grille front door means its not chewy plastic.. so safer for the pet!

Easy to assemble, perfect for the job. Bought two of these to pick my cats up from the rescue centre, pulled the seatbelts through the handles and placed them so they could face each other.
I also used these to take the cats to the vet – the top opening is a life-saver when it comes to getting the cats back in!

Bought to take feral cats to vet for neutering. Excellent door to hat prevents escape and the top of it is screwed to the by bottom half so th we re by is so no chance of an it coming apart. Was in only by goodfor small cats, large ones may be cramped but it is doesn’t matter if in there for a short time to only.

This item is simply unbelievable value for money, when first unpacking I was a little dubious about the sturdiness, but once put together its great, a front door (double latched) and a top hatch which can be opened from either side or removed all together. I didn’t think I would use the top hatch but it turns out its easier to drop the cat in rather than try to persuade them to enter the front door.

Initially I purchased one for my two kittens bit now they’ve grown I have purchased another so they have one each. There is plenty of space for an adult cat to feel comfortable and more importantly with a thick towel in place snug. Cleaning is a breeze as you can simply unclip the top from the bottom giving full access to all the internal surfaces.

If you need a carrier then this is the one.

My boy is quite happy in this carrier box thanks to its plenty of air windows. Easy to carry and assemble for even kids.

I needed a sturdy carrier to transport 2 guinea pigs and this is ideal. Its easy to assemble and has plenty of room inside for 2 or 3 guinea pigs or a rabbit etc. Both doors lock well and a small water bottle will fit on the door so water is always available for your pet. I recommend this itsm

It is the ease of getting the cats in and out, with the two entrys top and side. It is very easy to get the little darlings used to the carrier, just leave it open on the bed or in a corner of a room and it’s “Fun” time.
However I recommend that you practise opening the latches on the gate and lid without your pet “Helping?”
    you with this!

    It's the Cats Whiskers

Very easy to assemble and I like the fact that you can use the bolts supplied to make it even sturdier for longer travel than a quick flit to the vet.

Brilliant, you’ve got bolts to hold it together as well as clips so no concerns with it coming apart. Small and compact but not too small. My cat would fit in, she is only a small cat. Perfect for my guinea pigs. And the too opening is really handy to prevent escapees.

This product is well designed and I like the sturdiness of the metal door and the opening mechanism. However I wish I had bought the larger version. I wanted a compact carrier as I have to walk my cat to the vet and find wide ones difficult to manipulate, but this is really very tiny indeed. I think the internal capacity would be OK for a short journey for my relatively small cat, but unfortunately both openings are so narrow I could neither coax nor force her into it and a battle ensued. In the end I had to resort to an old wicker hamper. This carrier will go straight to a charity shop.

Much easier to get the cat in, as she hates getting in.

Bought this to collect my british short hair when he was 14weeks, still using it to go to vets when he is over a year old and weights 5kg

It looks sturdier than the previous one I owned and is definitely easier to open and close especially from the top.
Wouldn’t recommend for really big cats but for ours it works really well!
