Hose is fine, attachments not so much
The hose works as expected, bought this for it’s smaller size to fit a gap between buildings. Ideal space saving hose pulls out and retracts perfectly. The only small letdown is their own attachments aren’t the best but as I bought it for the hose I’m happy, as I have my own hose lock attachments, same fittings.

Superb retractable garden hose
This is an excellent piece of garden equipment – really well designed qnd works perfectly. Much cheaper too than similar items. I don’t know why Amazon call it a ‘Badic’ product – I would rename it ‘DeLuxe’ it’s that good!

I replaced my manual retractable unit with this. It’s easy to hang off the wall. The automatic retraction is very convenient – a real improvement on my old unit. What surprised me is the low pressure drop across the unit. It’s almost like having a mild pressure washer. Good for cleaning garden pots and lightly soiled areas. It also gives you a greater reach because the water jet goes further. Strongly recommended.
how did i live without one before?
Used manual hose and reel, then 739 collapsible hoses (each lasting a year before leaking). This was easy to install, and a dream to use. how did i live without one before, i don’t know.
My only small niggles here that could be easily fixed:
– use a sticker that doesn’t leave adhesive when removed from the top
– needs a design which keeps the reel pressed against the wall, at present it just swings outwards due to weight sometimes
Brilliant garden hose for the price
Well pleased with the garden hose, easy to put up onto the wall. Hose locks well after extending. ADVISE. To make sure hose doesn’t pop off due to high water pressure, leave the hose gun on and gently put on the water to a reasonable pressure level.
Easy to modify and install
Replaced short feeder hose with a longer one from old hose, so could attach on side wall about 10 feet from tap. Took 5 mins. Need size 10 drill bit. Wall plugs supplied, aren’t for brick but used anyhow as only have smaller model, 6.9kg weight. Detach nozzle, water valve closes, so can walk hose where needed without wasting water. Attach nozzle, twist to get different water patterns as good as water gun. When finished remove nozzle, slight tug on hose, keep hold and walk as retracts as very powerful, turn off tap and attach nozzle. Round Cover was missing over the tensioner part, but couldn’t be bothered returning. Much superior to hand wound hoses. No leaks, no mess. Cheapest 15 M retractable hose I could find, they all look the same so why pay extra for the name.
Apart from being delivered in a box within a box and a large amount of support packaging there were no problems. The bracket was easily fixed to the wall and the feed hose is a good length. The hose pulls out and retracts very easily although find it useful to have a cloth to clean the hose as it retracts as I am assuming there could be problems with a build of dirt in the future. So overall very happy with the purchase.
Wanted one of these for ages after many so called tangle free alternatives. Had it for 5 days now and it is brilliant. Decide where you want it, drill four holes to insert rawl plugs and screw to wall and then connect to water supply – simple. Important to read instructions on every day use, especially on pulling out hosepipe to water plants etc and retracting back to wall fitting to ensure hose rewinds correctly, ie: when you finish watering, do not just set the spring loaded return mechanism to rewind and let it go but keep hold of the hosepipe and walk with it to allow correct reloading back into storeage holder thus preventing damage to spring rewind mechanism and spray attachment! One small dislike was the spray gun supplied with it. I prefer a gun shaped attachment and ordered an ‘Aqua Flow garden hosepipe spray gun’ with a thumb operated water pressure control which imo gives a more comfortable hold without having to keep the normal trigger depressed. Also, so far, shows no sign of early leakage problems like many others. Time will tell but early signs are good and can therefore only recommend both products as excellent value.
It's everything I wanted
This was bought to replace an older model made by a market leader. The old mechanism had become difficult to latch when the pipe was pulled out and fiddley compared to this one which is simplicity itself. The pipe has a guide for reeling in the pipe and the tension can be adjusted, although I’ve not needed to do that. Comes with all the fittings for wall mounting which was as simple as ABC as I had the drill and bits required to drill a hard brick wall. Only down side is you can’t lock the housing to the wall bracket to eliminate the possibility someone decides to steal it.

We bought a cheaper product which didn’t even get put up. Not had this long but been used plenty of times and works perfectly

The accessories that come with the hose reel are of poor quality
I had to replace them with hozelock ones as the poor quality ones just leaked or stopped working.
Most annoying was the Internal piping was not connected and the water gushed out
After teething problems its all working now therefore 5-stars is not over rated
Lesson learned buy established branded goods instead of trying to save few quid cuz u end up paying more

Delighted with hose. Have quite large garden so an easily accessible hose is vital. Does the job perfectly. Easy to install and simple to use. When fully extended return can be quite quick so hold on tight and walk it back. So good that after using it better half said: “Why didn’t we get one years ago?!!”

Better than expected
Great garden hose. Have not been disappointed. Easy to install and use. Can only give 4 stars for sturdiness as only time will tell. A good purchase and a very solid 4 stars overall.
Make sure you have your own wall plugs
Whilst the item was easy to put up the only issue I had was that the instructions stated to use an 8mm drill bit , the wall plugs claimed to be 8mm but they are very soft and crush if to dare use anything to assist them into the wall, so have another set ready.
I must have gone through every hose design out there before committing to a wall mounted one, installation does require drilling into a wall so more effort than wrapping one up etc, but its so much more convenient and has not broken once (touchwood) like I found with other ‘brand name’ hoses. The spray hose attachment is a bit old school and no functions, so I would suggest buying something of higher quality if you want soaker/jet/mist etc, (I have many spare due to all the old broken hoses here…) other than that the fittings are decent and you should get along brilliantly with this! Very happy and so is the dog and car now its not and effort to pull it out and then watch it snake back in automatically with the auto recoil feature.
Overall it is worth every penny, and compared to the likes of Hoselock/Gardenia it is almost half the price but just as good, however there are one or two little niggles.
1. The item description states there is 2 metres of “Feed Hose”, WRONG !! on mine it was only 1.6 metres long which meant I had to completely rethink where I was going to mount it.
2. The instructions state you’ll need an 8mm masonry drill, WRONG !! it is a 10mm, anything less and you’ll never get the supplied rawlplugs into the holes.
POINT TO NOTE : It is very BIG and very HEAVY so take this into consideration when choosing a site for it.
Overall this is a very good hose reel and assuming it’s long term serviceability is good, I see no reason not to give it a good 9/10 for effort
######## UPDATE ########
After a couple of months use I’d revise my rating to 10/10, it really is great, the automatic recoil is amazing, very powerful and has no issues recoiling all 30 metres of the hose at an amazing rate.
Considering the ‘hose lock’ equivalent is double the price it’s great value for money!
Having said that, ball race the drum runs on doesn’t appear to be as good a quality, but you do get clear ‘fuel hose’ as the link between the drum and the water supply
Really easy to install. Had to make a slight modification to the pipe length that connected to the water outlet as it was too short for my requirements. That was easy, got a length of standard hozelock yellow pipe, remove facia cap and existing pipe was connected and secured with a jubilee clip (photo added). I installed in my car port and added a 15mm pipe tidy on the wall to finish it off.
For the price I was well chuffed. The hose pulls out to desired length and a quick tug releases the lock to reel in like a tape measure.
I have waited a long time to revue this as so many bad revues online.
I cannot fault it except the mounting screws are not really big enough for the weight.
I use it weekly to clean 3 vehicles at full stretch and the wife uses it daily in the summer to water her plants.
It always returns. Has never jammed and is still on the original attachments.
I have seen complaints about the wall bracket and I have to say I have had no trouble at all but do not over tighten the mounting screws as this could possibly cause the plastic to crack.
If care is taken fitting this unit it should last for years.
I only gave a 4 star rating as most 5 star ratings are not real and I wanted this to be see

Lo acabo de montar y genial, sper fcil de colocar, cuatro agujeros, tacos y tornillos, la sujecin es suficiente y la presin totalmente decente, de momento muy bien, muy contento.
Facil de instalar y resistente.
Se enrolla sin problemas, es resistente y puedes quitarlo y dejar solo el soporte, para sitios donde habitualmente no estas viene fenomenal.

Good quality and easy to set up
I bought this for my granny who’s in her 80s. It was easy to set up. I put it in with a couple of ‘spit hits’ the plugs that came with it didn’t seem enough for me, albeit I have been know to go over board the plastic cover and hose appeared thick and good quality.
It doesn’t take much to pull it out and spray and a simple tug will put it back in.
I’ve just removed it for the winter and it’s now tucked away for winter.
I would recommend this product.

Brilliantly prices automatic reel. Fitting and fixing are good enough and study enough. Mechanism again feels good enough. Will see how long it lasts but I’m very happy with it as I got it for half price from Warehouse pricing and it’s literally brand new!

Bueno si tienes espacio y no te importa que sea muy grande, est bien.
En cualquier caso parece que va a ser duradero y para un patio grande funciona muy bien.

Ma ho notato che devo spegnere il rubinetto infetta dopo perch se non innaffio rischia di sganciarsi dal riduttore…

Es un muy buen producto a un precio asumible. En mi caso evita tener metros y metros de manguera acumulando porquera en la zona de piscina, por no hablar de la comodidad a la hora de usar y recoger.
Solo un apunte, por si le pasa a alguien ms, uno de los dos que compr estuve a punto de devolverlo porque no tenia presin. Los cambi de punto de agua a ver si era problema del grifo y segua fallando, hasta que cuando lo iba a recoger para devolver vi que la manguera de admisin (la que va del grifo al enrollador) estaba pinzada por un mal pliegue. La puse bien y el problema desapareci.

Spot on Incredibly sturdy for price. Would expect to pay double for a ‘branded’ product. Makes life easier in the garden and much tidier.

El producto se ve muy bien, y de momento montado funciona muy bien y sin prdidas.. Pero en la etiqueta que trae colgada me dice que lea el manual atentamente y me dice que lo guarde por si alguna vez tengo que ajustar la estanqueidad de la manguera de agua en un futuro, el problema est que a mi no me llego ningn manual solo el producto con esa etiqueta pero de manual nada….
