Just got this and am utterly delighted. Most of the little niggles have been corrected by the manufacturer so they do take notice of the reviews.
The connection hose is still not the 2 metres they say it is though. the best thing about this is the lay on gear which moves from left to right across the drum to prevent tangles when retracting.
I must have looked at 20 reels before deciding on this one and I am so glad I picked this one.

Guter Gartenhelfe
Die Trommel funktioniert prima und macht einen robusten Eindruck. Sehr praktisch finde ich, dass man die Trommel am Tragegriff von der Halterung entnehmen kann und bei Befarf woanders mobil betreiben kann. Wie lange das Treil hlt ist natrlich ungewiss. Von meiner Seite: Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Trommel und Schlauch wirken sehr hochwertig. Ich habe die Gardena-Anschlsse vom alten Schlauch angebaut, kann also nichts ber die Qualitt der mitgelieferten sagen. Die Halterung sitzt mit den mitgelieferten Dbeln und Schrauben bombenfest. Abwickeln luft reibungslos, kurz rucken und der Schlauch ist arretiert. Der Schlauch hat fr mich genau die richtige Festigkeit, es bilden sich keine Schlaufen, die dann beim Ziehen das Wasser abdrcken. Auch das Einwickeln funktioniert einwandfrei und durch den angebrachten Schlitten (Haspel) wird der Schlauch gleichmig aufgerollt. Die Feder ist dafr optimal eingestellt. Es ist aber auch ein Werkzeug dabei, um die Feder nachzuziehen. Dafr knnte es allerdings einen Halter an der Trommel geben. Ich hab das Teil jetzt mit einem Klebeband unter die Trommel geklebt, damit es nicht verloren geht, falls ich es mal brauche. Bin rundum zufrieden. Jetzt muss sich nur noch zeigen, wie lange das Teil so einwandfrei arbeitet.

Quality kit at sensible money
Our old hose was well past its best, and had been needing replaced for a long time. The challenge I had was to get to the end of my garden I always had to link up another hose, and all the longer units were really expensive. I bought the 35m version of this, and I will admit it’s a heavy lump of a thing, however once the bracket was on the wall with the big screws and plugs supplied I suppose I will never lift it again. Fittings are good, actual quality of the hose itself seems really good. I like the fact it stops wherever you do, you don’t have to wait for locking clicks like my last one, and the recoil handles the whole 35m easily. I suppose my only fear is the weight combined with the spring pressure when reeling out on the mount, but only time will tell on that. Overall it seems every bit as good as premium brands at a better cos
Funktioniert und sieht wertig aus
Schlauch ist bei niedrigen Temperaturen relativ steif, kann aber bei Bedarf durch einen Gummischlauch getauscht werden. Feder gut straff gespannt.

So I did as the price is very reasonable. This works very well and even though I have only fitted it to the wall thus far I am very happy with it.
The only down side to this is that the wall plugs are terrible. Don’t use the wall plugs that come with it. The screws are awesome but go to the hardware store and buy heavy duty decent wall plugs. You’ll thank me for it.

If the support is fixed slighly off vertical by about 5 degrees you can get it to lay flat against a wall when not in use. Just angle the support slightly in the direction you want it to lie.

Also preislich ist die Schlauchtrommel gegenber Gardena echt unschlagbar. Da muss man natrlich auch mit kleineren Mankos leben. Funktionieren tut alles soweit tadellos nur der Schlauch ist leider etwas starr. Ansonsten gut!

Yo lo pint con pintura spray para plstico para darle mayor proteccin a la luz solar y UV, y cambi los 4 ridculamente pequeos tornillos que traa por 4 pernos de acero inoxidable, con tuercas de mtrica 8 que fij a la pared mediante taco qumico. Ver foto.
Admite fcilmente la posibilidad de guardar en casa o un cobertizo la manguera entera cuando no se vaya a usar, evitando deterioro por intemperie o robo de la manguera.

Very easy to use, The auto rewind makes watering a pleasure.
Really well-built and works at least as well as the 'expensive competition', but it is heavy!
We have been really impressed with this hose reel – it is very sturdily built and works at least as well as the Hozelock alternatives (which are typically more expensive for the same length). There is a self-directing hose guide which helps to ensure the hose coils up neatly around the drum, and the hose itself is full-bore 12.5mm rather than the ‘compact’ 10mm found on some other reels (so provides better flow and means you can use standard hosepipe fittings).
Would definitely recommend – although do note the weight as it’s quite heavy. The supplied bracket is more than strong enough, just be aware that the wall you are fixing it to will need to support the weight (fine on a solid wall but exercise caution if mounting on a flimsy wooden shed!).

Me gusta porque ahora el recogido de la manguera es muy cmodo y la terraza queda ordenada.
Soy una persona mayor y cuando regaba los arboles del jardn, me tena que agachar para recoger la manguera, estirarla para acomodarla en el soporte y a veces se quedaba por el medio, molestando el paso.
Ahora, aunque tenga que acompaar la manguera con las manos para que el recogido automtico no se estropee con el tirn del automatismo es mucho mas cmodo.

Have been tripping over old hose and wanted a retractable wall mounted one but the prices for these were high so took a chance on this one as endorsed by amazon with their name on it…. came on time,put up in 5 mins flat with screws and wall plugs included….seems sturdy and works like a dream!

Gute Leistung zum guten Preis
Sehr gut verarbeitet und massiv. Einwandfreie Funktion. Im Winter mit einem Handgriff abnehmen und verwahren.
Huge. This maybe a problem for some people but for us it’s great. Bought the extra length hose so initially very heavy. Once mounted though, the spring inside that winds it all back in seems strong and robust enough that it kind of explains why. This isn’t a flimsy thing at all. I’m sure it would last winters, but this coming one I will be putting it in the garage. The only reason for this is if I could pinpoint one area of possible weakness would be the enormous bracket it’s mounted on. The vertical plastic shaft is screwed to the wall using supplied wall plugs etc. Again, it feels and looks up to the job but plastic is plastic and weather might in years to come weaken it. It’s not mounted in a sunny spot so UV won’t really affect it. Time will tell but I’m feeling positive.

Il prodotto davvero ben fatto, imballato bene e le istruzioni sono molto facili da seguire. Io l’ho montato su un pannello in legno con le apposite viti (non presenti nella confezione in quanto andrebbe avvitato solo a pareti in cemento o mattoni). Ovviemante il pannello in legno deve essere abbastanza robusto, non tanto per sostenere il peso che non molto, ma per resistere alla trazione del tubo quando lo si srotola. Prezzo ottimo. Cosnigliato.

o fitting instructions but VERY easy to see how it’s supposed to go up. I’m not entirely sure what the ‘inspection hatch’ on the top is for and can’t see an obvious need.
Was a bit surprised by the relatively small screws supplied considering the weight of the unit. That said its on the wall and solid so I’m not concerned now.
For future models, it would be handy to have some sort of wall hook or anchor. My thought is that if this is caught by a strong gust, it will start to swing out and smack against the wall.
Overall, very happy but I won’t be leaving this out on the bracket through winter. I sense that the casing won’t last more than 3 seasons if left out all year. Due to the design though, it simply slips off the mount with a lift so, again, not overly concerned. Happy so far but time will tell if it has longevity.

Good bit of kit for the money
Never ever right reviews, Was looking at one for twice the money. Turn up , very nice bit of kit. It’s already to go. Make sure you get a good wall for this to fix to as heavy. Comes with screws and plugs. 30 metres of good hose. End nozzle is a bit shit so prob have to buy one of those.
Ok you have to pull hard and it out it comes. Also very handy that the bracket it sits on, rotates right and left. When you get to where you are using the hose it stays in position. You are ready to put the hose back. Pull it hard forward and then its brilliant as it pulls the hose back to the base with no knots kinks and settles back into the starting position. Only had it a day but it was fab.

Funktioniert so wie sie soll, starker Einzug, Schlauch macht auch einen ordentlichen Eindruck.

Il prodotto arrivato ben imballato e completo montato in 5 minuti e testato al volo dalla figlia di 14 che ha provveduto subito a verificarne la resistenza.

Teil kam gut verpackt hier an, Lieferung war gewohnt schnell. Der Schlauchhalter macht einen stabilen Eindruck, die Montage an der Hauswand ist einfach. Habe ihn bis jetzt ein paarman genutzt, alle funktioniert wie es soll. Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich noch keine Angaben machen, das wird sich zeigen. Insgesamt ein guter Kauf, andere Hersteller verlangen ein vielfaches an Geld mehr.
Schade, denn die Trommel macht einen wertigen Eindruck. In der Praxis muss sie sich erst noch bewhren, aber der Schlauch kam schon bereits abgeknickt an, kein Wunder bei der schlechten Qualitt. Ich trste mich damit, dass der Schlauch ersetzbar ist.

E’ un prodotto ben costruito, una sola piccola riserva sui supporti di fissaggio in dotazione che mi sono sembrati di scarsa qualit e sottodimensionati. Ma agevole procurarsene di migliori. E il problema non inficia il voto pi alto.

Ma molto meno, per cui sono uscito per comprare tutto ci che serviva per allungare il tubo di attacco al rubinetto. Detto ci, per il resto mi sembra nella media dei prodotti simili. Inoltre, secondo me , il tubo ha un diametro leggermente inferiore a quello della Gardena, perci penso che la portata d,acqua non sar esaltante ma, comunque, penso far il suo dovere

Enrollador, con manguera de agua de 15 metros de longitud.
La colocacin es sencilla, nos viene una bolsa con los tacos y tornillos necesarios para sujetar la base a la pared ( los tornillos no son de muy buena calidad, y se pasa la cabeza, si el taco agarra bien).
Una vez sujeta la base a la pared, solo hay que quitar el pasador, y colocar el enrrollador. El sistema queda basculante a izquierda y derecha.
En la parte superior, tiene una tapa de acceso al interior, por si se nos atranca la manguera o hubiese algn problema. El sistema de recogida, tiene fuerza suficiente para recoger toda la manguera. El anclaje al grifo ajusta perfecto, y no gotea nada.
Por el precio qu etiene, lo veo una buena opcin.

1. Das Ganze kam wie immer schnell, gut verpackt und unbeschdigt bei uns an.
2. Bei der ersten in Augenscheinnahme des Produkts muss ich sagen, dass das Ganze sehr sauber verarbeitet und wertig wirkt.
Das Produkt hat circa ein Gewicht von 10 Kilogramm ist damit nicht unbedingt ein Leichtgewicht, aber im Vergleich zu vergleichbaren Produkten auch nicht enorm schwer.
im Lieferumfang ist alles enthalten, um dieses Produkt sofort in Betrieb zu nehmen und es zu montieren.
3. Die 15 m Gartenschlauch sind auf einer Schlauchtrommel aufgerollt, die einen automatischen Rckzug hat. Das ausziehen und das Einholen des Schlauches funktionieren einfach, schnell und problemlos.
Die Schlauchtrommel lsst sich auf der Wandhalterung um 180 schwenken. Auch ist das bentigte Verbindungsstck fr den Anschluss mit einer Lnge von 2 m im Lieferumfang enthalten.
Da die Schlauchtrommel einfach auf die Wandhalterung aufgesetzt wird, lsst sie sich im Winter – wenn man es mchte – auch abnehmen und an einem frostsicheren Ort fr verstauen. Dafr hat sie im oberen Bereich auch ein gutes Stck, womit sich die circa zehn Kilo schwere Trommel gut hndeln lsst.
Wenn man sich im Netz umschaut, findet man auch fr den selben Preis ein Produkt zum Beispiel von Gardena, ebenfalls mit 15 m. Von daher muss ich jetzt wiederum sagen: im Preisvergleich kostet das Amazon Basic Produkt 74,99 und das selbe Produkt von Gardena 78 – hier muss nun jeder selber wissen, wo er seine Prioritten setzt. Alles in allem ist das Produkt von Amazon Basic sehr gut verarbeitet, einfach in der Bedienung und entspricht meinen Erwartungen. Daher von mir vier Sterne. Den fnften Stern ziehe ich ab, da es vergleichbare Produkte von anderen namenhaften Herstellern fr einen minimal hheren Preis zu kaufen gibt.
Stabil und praktisch
Die AmazonBasics Schlauchtrommel wird in einem schweren, kompakten Paket geliefert und macht beim Auspacken einen qualitativ guten Eindruck. Im Lieferumfang enthalten sind neben der Schlauchtrommel und der Wandhalterung Befestigungsmaterial fr die Wandhalterung und eine kurze, verstndliche Anleitung zur Montage, die aber eigentlich selbsterklrend ist.
Die Halterung wird mit vier Schrauben an der Wand befestigt. Die Schlauchtrommel wird anschlieend nur noch von oben in die Halterung eingeschoben. Aufgrund des 180 Drehgelenks kann ein groer Bereich unseres Gartens abgedeckt werden. Der Wasseranschluss der Schlauchtrommel hat einen Standardadapter fr Schluche mit einem Durchmesser von 1/2″, den ich einfach nur an unseren Verbinder am Wasserhahn im Garten anstecken muss. Der Schlauch lsst sich gut abrollen und hat sich bisher auch problemlos und korrekt wieder in die Trommel eingezogen – die Bedienungsanleitung enthlt Hinweise, was zu tun ist, wenn sich der Schlauch nicht oder nur teilweise wieder einrollt. Die Wasserdse ist ebenfalls Standard und deckt das komplette Spektrum vom breiten, weichen bis hin zum schlanken, festen Wasserstrahl ab. Auch die Dse ist per Standardverbinder angesteckt und kann bei Bedarf zum Beispiel durch eine Garten-Handbrause ersetzt werden. Im Winter oder bei vorhersehbarem, lngerem Nichtgebrauch kann die Trommel einfach wieder aus der Halterung herausgehoben und an einem anderen Ort gelagert werden – dazu sollte der Schlauch allerdings geleert sein.
Insgesamt eine stabile, funktionale und sehr praktische Schlauchtrommel.
Inizialmente nutrivo qualche dubbio su questo avvolgitubo, basandomi solo sulle immagini mi sembrava un oggetto difficile da montare e usurabile rapidamente a seguito delle intemperie, ma mi sbagliavo.
Per prima cosa scoprirete che arriva gi completamente montato, non rimane che fissare il supporto da muro a circa un metro di altezza con le quattro viti ed i rispettivi tasselli in dotazione (per far questo vi servir una punta da 8 mm), quindi agganciare l’avvolgitubo che potete comodamente inserire e levare tutte le volte che vorrete poich l’innesto un semplice perno che entra nel sostegno a muro verticalmente e per maneggiare la struttura presente una comodissima nonch robusta maniglia superiore che ne facilita il trasporto, quindi collegare il tubo di ingresso al rubinetto tramite il connettore standard ed infine innestare al tubo di uscita l’ugello spruzzatore. Fatto.
A parte la semplicit della installazione, devo ammettere che anche l’utilizzo straordinariamente comodo, ne esistono tre versioni, io ho quella pi piccola, 15 metri per me sono sufficienti, ma esistono anche proposte da 25 e 35 metri, ovviamente ingombro e peso aumentano proporzionalmente, quello pi piccolo ha un peso di circa 7Kg ed un ingombro 44x40x21 cm, per quanto riguarda le specifiche tecniche il tubo interno ha un diametro da 12,5mm (mezzo pollice) e la filettatura dell’adattatore per rubinetto 2,54 cm (un pollice), per quanto concerne la pressione massima di esercizio certificato per 5 bar.
Anche i miei dubbi relativi alla manutenzione sono stati chiariti dal buon manuale multilingue dove viene spiegato come sostituire eventualmente il tubo di ingresso qualora si usurasse, magari all’altezza dell’ingresso dell’avvolgitubo, ed anche come regolare la molla di tensionamento qualora nel tempo iniziasse a cedere: entrambe le operazioni si possono compiere accedendo al nucleo dell’avvolgituvo rimuovendo gli sportelli centrali rotondi dove anche stampato il logo Amazonbasics.
Ovviamente l’uso banale, comunque giusto ricordare che il sistema dotato di freno ovvero estraendo il tubo si ferma via via che fuoriesce e non stanca la mano tentando di riavvolgersi peraltro sforzando la molla, infatti perch questo possa avvenire occorre sbloccarlo tirando lievemente e quindi accompagnando semplicemente il ritorno nella matassa.
Un bel sistema quindi, semplice da usare, all’apparenza molto robusto ma per dire questo con certezza occorrer qualche anno, facile da manutenere (attenzione che nei primi utilizzi presente sul tubo un residuo di gel lubrificante), ovviamente consigliabile rimuoverlo e riporlo drenato nella stagione fredda, insomma una idea che ci permetter di innaffiare il giardino senza le fastidiose matasse a manovella che oltretutto spesso ci sporcavano a causa del contatto del tubo con il terreno, certo anche con questo soprattutto quando estratto di molti metri una qualche parte toccher terra ma non sar mai come in passato.

Die Verwendung der Schlauchtrommel ist sehr bequem und platzsparend.
Per Wandhalterung wird sie an einer stabilen Wand befestigt und wird auch dort bedient.
Die Bedienung ist sehr bequem , man braucht sich nicht einmal mehr zu bcken.
Der Schlauch lsst sich problemlos herausziehen und automatisch wieder einfahren , ohne dass er sich verheddert oder verknotet.
Ein 180 Grad – Drehgelenk sorgt dafr , dass man den Schlauch bequem in alle Richtungen ziehen kann.
Schlauch + Schlauchtrommel sind von guter Qualitt + Verarbeitung und funktionieren problemlos , ohne groe Kraftanstrengung , in bequemer Haltung.

Je ne savais pas qu’Amazon faisait des produits de jardinage. Je viens donc de prendre possession du dvidoir mural enroulable automatique Amazon basics avec un tuyau d’arrosage de 15 m. C’est parfait si votre terrain n’est pas trop grand.
Je l’ai reu dans un emballage trs solide et protecteur. Le support de fixation est trs facile monter au moyen de 4 vis. Il ne fait que environ 7 kg, il n’y a donc pas la ncessit d’avoir un mur en bton arm pour le fixer, a c’est une bonne nouvelle !
Aprs une premire utilisation je suis parfaitement satisfaite du produit. Petit bmol: un poil trop cher si l’on fait un comparatif avec d’autres marques.

This is a big item, well packaged and easy to assemble. It comes with all you need to fix to a wall, and due to the weight a wall is really all you can fix it to. It’s also pretty big and bulky, but luckily has a hinge so you can swing it out of the way when not in use.
The main benefit of this item is the retractable hose. No more winding the hose up and annoying kinks in the hose. You simply pull out as much as you need and when finished the hose retracts into the unit. It’s really ideal for saving time and hassle and keeping your garden tidy. The price is high but the others I have found are similar if not more expensive, and it’s a great design and really good build quality. I have no doubt this will last for several years. If there’s one downside it’s the nozzle at the end. I found it fiddly to use and you don’t get the option of changing the spray style to mist etc which is handy for more delicate plants. The 15m hose is a good length for most gardens unless you live in a mansion
