SO LIKE ME THIS WAS FOR MY DAUGHTER SO HAD IT DELIVERD TO ME AND SUBSEQUENTLY TOOK IT TO HER HOME, NOT TO HEAVY TO LIFT AND FITTED IN THE BOOT OK. JUST RIGHT FOR HER AS SHE IS COLLECTING COINS FOR HER SON. OVERALL NOT BAD FOR THE PRICE.

Arrived In perfect Conditio
The safe IS what I knew it would be. It’s not (fully) fire proof or (flood) water proof and it’s not heavy duty enough to keep a bad guy with a crowbar out. I use it for after death documents etc. And I bought a fire proof bag for irreplaceable items like birth certificates etc.
I’m writing mainly because a lot of reviews noted that theirs arrived damaged. Mine arrived well packed and looks great. Programming was easy and works great as well. And yes, mine arrived with all four expansion bolts.
Two FYI’s that I was curious about. 1, the shelf is not adjustable, but can easily be removed with one hand. 2, the password you program can be between 3-8 digits. I wanted to use only four digits.
The wall mounting hardware is overly complex. It requires a 12mm drill bit when most people probably have 1/2in which is slightly larger. This leads to some annoyance. And they are nearly impossible and rather impractical to use when not in a stud. Everything else seems fine. But use some lag screws instead and save a lot of headache. I wish I had.

This safe is not fireproof, but have a adequate amount of space, quality , and is of good value for the cost. As of now , i have not had a problem with the electronic lock . This safe do come with 2 backup/override keyes , should there be a problem.

Dont lose your owners manual! There isnt one for this model on the web, only for the 0.5 cubic ft model which has a lcd display. Anyway the biggest piece of info you need is:
TO TURN OFF THE BEEP-hold * for 5-7 seconds and all three lights will illuminate to confirm the beep is off.
Or you can do like many have said on amazon and take the whole thing apart and find the wire to the speaker and cut it….lmao
Now for my review. As long as you mount this thing properly its just as good as a $1000 safe in reguards to burglary, you will want a better safe to protect from fire and flood. I mounted this to a 45lbs. 20inx20in steel plate that is drilled into the studs with the exposed bolt heads grinded round.

E’ spaziosissima e c’entrano comodissime 3 pistole nelle relative valigette e 200 cartucce, e le batterie durano una vita. Lo spessore lascia un p a desiderare ma per quel prezzo non si pu proprio pretendere di pi, d’altronde meglio attrezzarsi proteggendo casa con un buon sistema d’allarme che affidare tutto alla singola cassaforte.
Good basic safe for home use. Not as secure as some professional safes but it is 20% of the price so it is good for what I need it for.
Only issue. Deliver it in discrete packaging not with safe written on the side. You may not want people to know you need and have a safe.

il rapporto qualit prezzo ottimo, molto capiente. le pareti non sono molto spesse ma non sara’ facile scanninarla sicuramente, un ottimo deterrente ed utile per tenere cose al sicuro dai frequentatori abituali e/o dai bambini. Credo che se avesse un marchio blasonato del settore sicurezza costerebbe almeno il doppio, quindi, per me va piu’ che bene e la ricomprerei. io la uso solo con la chiave lo trovo piu’ comodo. consegna veloce, l’ho preferita ad altre anche perch essendo amazon basic la garanzia piena ed assoluta rispetto a prodotti di terze parti e perch sicuramente amazon non metterebbe il suo marchio su un prodotto di scarsa qualit.

Plenty of space and a shelf inside of it. The safe is thicc asf and sturdy. The keypad has nice rubber buttons that poke out to press which are less likely to break compared to flat cheap keys. It’s worth spending money on a quality safe.

Dem Grunde nach ein nettes Teil, das zumindest etwas Zeit beim Einbruch kostet. Natrlich hat er weder das Gewicht noch die Befestigung um entschlossene Einbruchsprofis von den Wertsachen abzuhalten, aber Handwerker, Reinigungskrfte oder Teenager mit Liquidittsengpssen werden zuverlssig vom Diebstahl abgehalten.

If you are looking for something to lock up your personal items from others than this is fine. That is what I needed. Therefor the 5 stars for the price and size.
It is not going to survive a fire or a flood and if a thief wanted to break into it I am sure it would only take a few minutes. If it was not anchored with the bolts provided to a floor or wall it could easily be lifted and removed.

Super easy to set-up passcode, perfect for our small condo. Hidden inconspicuously due to its small size, but still plenty of room to store multiple valuables and important documents such as birth certificates, passports, etc.
Can also be mounted, I have mounted to the concrete floor in a closet so it cannot be removed.
I purchased a document pouch that is fire resistant and waterproof to contain these types of documents as this safe in not listed as fire resistant nor waterproof.

Der Safe kommt gut verpachtet nach Hause. Ich habe ihn an der Wand montiert. Dafr habe ich aber die Schrauben und Dbel selbst gewhlt und er hlt damit echt gut.
Man kann ihn auch am Boden fest machen, dort sind auch 4 Bohrungen angebracht.
Fr mich war wichtig das ich ihn mit einem Zahlencode ffnen kann und hier gibt es auch einen Notschlssel dazu. Das mit dem Zahlencode klappt wunderbar. Es werden 4 AA Batterien bentigt und beim Batteriefach befindet sich auch der reset Knopf um seinen eigenen Code vergeben zu knnen.
Das Regelfach im Inneren kann man auch raus nehmen was ich sehr praktisch finde wenn man doch mal was greres darin verstauen mchte.
Die Verarbeitung, sprich Lackierung und der Rest, sehen sauber aus und wirken qualitativ.
Ich hatte mir diese Gre erst gewhlt um sie in einem Regelfach unterzubringen aber leider hab ich falsch geguckt. . Ich bin aber dennoch sehr zufrieden und gebe gerne 5 Sterne.

As expected, would have liked automatic open and close after entering the code, as you still have to turn the knob. However it is exactly what we needed so very pleased.
Feedback would be that it would be a nice touch from a customer service perspective to include batteries.

It’s good safe to keep day to day cash, valuable things for home, office or shop.
But it’s a light weight safe.
So make sure its fitted to a firm wall or ground. Screws are available with safe.

I’ve been seeing A LOT of negative reviews so I was skeptical. BUT In my opinion it is Perfect! No, it’s not fireproof, but come on people…. If you are so worried about it burning in a fire, you are going to be paying WAY more for something that probably won’t happen in a lifetime. GET FIRE INSURANCE PEOPLE! Plus this safe is a lot lighter if you have to move it. I’m using this safe at a VERY High volume of cash flow at a retail store…. It is perfect for floats, deposits, change rolls.

For one, this a very heavy and sturdy safe. Setting it up with the codes was easy and the locking mechanism works like a charm. With grandchildren around, I feel totally confident that this safe is the right one for me and yet I can get in it quickly and easily. I took off one star because I don't know about the water resistance feature , not being airtight and metal.

kleiner aber praktischer Tresor der auf mich als Laie einen guten eindruck macht .. Verarbeitung sieht sehr gut aus ..
keine unsauberen Verarbeitungsfehler erkennbar.. die Funktion ist selbsterklrend.. einzig evtl. die Speicherung des neuen Codes der , so steht es auch in der Anleitung, unbedingt sofort gendert werden muss!.. es knnen bis zu 8 Zahlen verwendet werden.. die zustzliche Funktion mit dem Schlssel finde ich praktisch .. man kann ihn also mit Schlssel oder Code ffnen.. der Safe kann hinten an die Wand mit den 4 mitgelieferten Stahlschrauben inkl. Stahlmuttern und/oder auch am Boden befestigt werden da msste man allerdings selbst in Schrauben investieren.
es passen unterlagen DIN A4 rein wenn man die mittlere Ablageplatte heraus nimmt oder im Safe auf den Boden legt.. fr das Geld eine gute Investion hoffe ich 🙂

Batterie hlt seit ca. 4 Wochen ohne Probleme – macht einem guten Eindruck und wirkt sicher! Ich wrde darin jetzt nicht Gold oder dergleichen versperren jedoch kleine Bargeldsummen bzw. Sparbcher um sie vor unbefugter Wegnahme von Personen im gleichen Haushalz zu schtzen!
Buy it ! This safe is easy to set and has amazing features. It comes with 2 spare keys and it has two shelves. I use the bottom for my ammo. I bought lights for the inside (amazon) and the gun holder (amazon) to keep it somewhat neat. It’s pretty heavy as is but gets heavier when you add your weapons. Just keep that in mind. Otherwise it’s a great purchase. Also the key hold doesn’t “break” when you use it. The cover is designed to come off and not be put back. It’s like popping the top on a soda can or beer. Otherwise mine has been wonderful.

Ich muss sagen bei der Lieferung war ich etwas geschockt da der Safe schwerer ist als erwartet.
Der passt perfekt in meinem Schrank rein ohne aufzufallen, was nur schade ist das man fr den Code Batterien braucht die leider nicht inclusive sind. Dennoch top zufrieden da man ihn auch einfach mit einem Schlssel ffnen kann.

This safe came in a reasonable amount of time. Unboxing the safe came very securely package with styrofoam corners.
There are mount holes on both the back and bottom for anchors or lag bolts. I can easily fit my pistols and ammunition in here.
The locking mechanism is nice with the digital keypad that can be set to silent entry. I do wish that it had a small light or a better backlight for the keys. It would make it easier for night access.

Leider war wie eigentlich beschrieben kein Befestigungsmaterial dabei- aber dafr ein Putzstab zum Waffenlauf reinigen 😀
Die Safetr schleift unten leider beim ffnen und Schlieen, sodass man die Tr anheben muss damit dies nicht passiert.
Ich habe unten eine Beilagscheibe eingelegt, und somit war das Problem behoben.

Wirkt sehr robust und bietet gengend Platz.
Beinhaltet ebenfalls Schrauben um diesen noch nach auen zu befestigen.
Der Tresor entspricht ungefhr dem, was man fr dieses Geld erwarten kann: nicht viel. Ich habe ihn auch nicht fr Wertsachen, sondern fr Sigkeiten angeschafft, die meine Frau leider immer kauft und ich sie dann nachts unkontrolliert verschlinge.
Dafr ist er gut geeignet. Das Gehuse hatte trotz ausgezeichneter Verpackung aber zahlreiche Beschdigungen, die nicht vom Transport stammen knnen: Ein leichter Riss an einer Ecke, einige Lackabplatzungen und groflchige Verkratzungen der Oberflchen.
Whrend des Hausbaus htte ich auch nach einem wirklich hochwertigen Tresor zum Einmauern gesucht, wurde aber nicht fndig – weder hier auf Amazon, noch sonstwo online. Anscheinend sind Lieferanten von professionellen Tresoren nicht ganz so leicht zu finden.

Ausgezeichnet verarbeitet, sehr robust, grer als man denkt. Fr das Geld bekommt man nichts besseres, wirklich guter Safe.
Excellent product. Must buy in every home. Got at half the cost of Godrej brand. Password setting is very easy. No need to worry even if you forget the password or batteries are drained inside. Mannual set of Keys will open the safe easily. Can be security fixed within cup board or back wall/ground.
Not easy for thieves to break open/carry away if property secured with screws provided with the safe.

Codeeingabe funktioniert, Notschlssel auch, Verschraubung auch kein Problem. Kaufempfehlung!

I bought some fireproof pouches for the important papers. It has the option to bolt to the floor or wall. I may do that in the future. I procrastinated setting up the lock thinking it was going to be complicated and it was so simple that I tackled two other tech projects afterward. I really like that the shelf is removable for taller items. It allowed the fireproof pouches to fit with extra room. I would recommend this to anyone. Thanks for the peace of mind.

I bought this safe for home use, the usual stuff you need to keep safe and accessible: mortgage and insurance documents, bit of jewellery, and I chose the 40 litre size as I didn’t want anything too big. Very pleased with it: next-day delivery (a Sunday!), simple to read instructions, fixing bolts (if you choose to use them) supplied. You do have to provide 4 x AA batteries to power the numerical lock but you can just use the key if you want to. No problem setting my pass code, all works as it should.
The safe has a removeable shelf inside to optimise the space available. There is a low-battery feature for reassurance.

Easy to install and set up, and seems sturdy for the price. The only issue is that the fingerprint sensor is very picky. Despite making many, many imprints of the desired digits (it can hold up to 100), it often rejects our attempts — and subsequently locks you out for a minute. You have to be really careful. I have the hang of it but my wife still finds it difficult and frustrating.
I am SOOOOOOO very happy I ordered this AmazonBasics safe instead of spending extra money to buy one of the big name brands! The safe is solidly built, has a removable shelf, the door operates smoothly, and the keypad access is reliable and effective.
Keep in mind this is NOT a fire safe, not sealed against water intrusion, etc. but in my opinion it is an EXCELLENT value for simply securing valuable items (cash, guns, jewelry) to keep them out of easy reach of sticky fingers or those with a smash and grab mentality. There are small holes in the back & bottom of the safe to provide for bolting the safe into place for added security.
I cannot guarantee this safe will be a better choice for your needs, but I CAN guarantee this safe is definitely worth considering as opposed to other much more expensive safes in similar size and protection class.
I would definitely purchase this item or other similar AmazonBasics safe should future needs arise. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

I bought this safe a year ago there are good things about it and there are not so good things about it as long as you can keep up with the key and make sure the batteries stay fresh you’re good but if the batteries go dead and you misplaced the keys you’re out of luck because there is no replacement key and the safe takes an act of a crane and five people to break into it I lost my key and my medication was in it and we had to break into it it took us 6 hours to break into that safe it is the most sturdy safe I think I’ve ever owned and I will probably buy another one and I will make sure I put the key where I can find it and I will always make sure it has fresh batteries but I do recommend this safe as far as being a good safe

I like this product as it provides strong and easy access to valuables for daily use Or safe protection.
Key and battery works fine for many operations and no problems. Currently I used finger prints for 2 persons but can include more people. I memorized more than one finger of myself in case any problems.
There are cons with some other products as thieves can open the lock using a strong magnetic technology. I am unable to test on this. Basically the locking solenoid can be moved with a super strong magnet and open the door.

Very easy to set up the password and works just as it should. I was expecting it to be a lot heavier but it’s great. When I first took the safe out the box and opened the door. My first thought was “I thought this was bigger” but once I started putting items inside he safe, is bigger than you think. In the pictures you can see the containers back to back. That should give you an idea of how deep inside the safe is. I LOVE IT. Now I don’t have to have important items just out in the open. If your thinking of buying a safe, this is definitely the right safe for you.
Comes with a set of 2 keys just in case you forget the password. And very easy to reset the password, but you must be inside the safe to reset. So make sure you DO NOT lose the keys. Will recommend to anyone I know that’s looking for a safe.

Problem with Amazon facility cente
Product is good, but problem with courier service, they asked me to come 15 km in our Amazon facility center and pickup your courier. We went there and receive my courier personally. Up down 30 km. Very bad service from Lehragaga 148031 Amazon facility center.

Safe was exactly what I was looking for! Setting up was easy! Have to use the key the first time but other then that once you set you pin up for the keypad it’s adios keys! (Until the batteries die lol) it take 4 AA batteries. Tons of space . Folders are a no go unless you bend it a little and then slide it in there. Comes with a shelve you can remove if you want too. I keep couple Glocks in there and am able to keep a decent amount of ammo for the Glocks and the MP15 AR. I still have tons of space left over with all my stuff! I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good quality safe to keep personal items safe!

This safe is a good buy for the money. I can’t give it more than two stars for water resistance as I feel there is room for improvement as water could easily leak in from the mounting bolt holes should the safe become submerged. Although the caulking or some other type of sealant would easily remedy this issue. Sturdiness isn’t impressive either but not terrible. I mainly bought it because I needed something to keep important documents and external hard drives that hold all our family pictures. This safe fits that bill. Since I don’t live in a flood plain the water resistance isn’t a major issue for me. Programming the safe was super easy and took a whole five minutes maybe. If you are looking for something to keep your valuables safe from a fire and for a decent price I highly recommend this safe.

I usually like the “Amazon Basics” product line and have had good stuff at a good price. This time I got a dead digital safe on the first try but Amazon quickly sent out a replacement that was 100% working. I did buy the extended warranty…jic. the main reason I like this unit is affordable and bootable! You can bolt it to a wall or floor, comes with heavy anchors but you’ll need lag bolts if you’re going into a stud vs concrete. I’m sure you can defeat the door with a large enough crow bar and time or just cut through the thing with a cordless whiz wheel. Now that said…most thief’s want in and out easy…this is not that, especially bolted down. For the money it will work just fine and the size, 1.3 more than sufficient for guns, money, jewelry, documents and has a shelf to split the safe in half or remove for full use of larger items. It is not fire proof but for the money, you know that going in. It is to prevent theft. Pay 3x’s as much and you get fire for maybe a whole hour…pay 10x’s as much and you get 5 hours burn time. Do the math…just increase your insurance premium and save the weight and headache. Good enough for basic safety and simple storage like a gun or travelling cash. 1 star came off because of the DOA as the battery compartment is a little cheap in all plastic and metal tray might have been a little wiser for durability sake. We’ll see how it holds up over time.
It is a nice little safe for what is meant to be. This safe in not fireproof, water proof, thief proof or heavy. It is simply a safe to keep valuables or papers secure and away from prying eyes or someone looking for an easy score going through your stuff in a hurry. It locks fine and the electric combo is easy to setup and use. For more security it can be bolted to the wall or floor from the inside of the safe. Id recommend this as it is easily picked up to be walked out the door if anyone wished to do that. It will keep out a normal kid, teenager, or anyone who wants to try and get in without leaving marks on it. A real thief or a real person with time and tools can break in with enough perseverance. If it was walked out and dropped from a high enough height, it would probably break open. But that is why it can be bolted.
All this may sound like a negative review but honestly I just want everyone to know this is a fine basic safe and my purchase would be made again. For the price and what i wanted, this is a fine buy. Secure for my purposes and does what it says it will do very well. Enough room for most important things in life. Jewelry, a hand gun, papers, or whatever. Has a shelve that can divide the storage in half. For a basic safe, I think amazon did a fine job with this one.

Read carefully the product description before purchase – this isn’t a fire safe and I think is intended only for safeguarding valuables.If you know this then I think it’s a good little safe, quite roomy inside and with both a digital combination and backup physical keys makes it both secure and difficult to lock yourself out of. I use it for documents and external hard drives. Think carefully where you’ll put it as unless its physically attached to a wall then it’s security as limited but within its limitations a good product.

I have had no problem with its operation using the keypad which requires batteries which are not supplied.
It is similar to those hotel safes you find in your holiday accomadation.
But there is a conundrum. It’s the first place a burglar will look if he finds it and it is portable enough to be carried off if it is jemmied off a wall. You could of course fill it with junk as a decoy. Better still, cement it into the floor or wall.
All in all, it’s well made and finished, as any Amazon Basics product it is affordable.
Costing less than fifty pounds I’d be surprised if you could find a better safe than this at the price. It’s heavy and a good size, perhaps not big enough for the Queen or any of the lesser members of the Royal family, but certainly big enough to keep safe the valuables of an average family or a small company. The primary method of locking and unlocking the door is a digital keypad on which you program a six digit code. Should a six digit code prove to be too much to remember there is also a key which bypasses the keypad and code. For added security bolts are provided to enable you to fix it onto a wall.
My only problem with any safe is that it’s presence immediately tells a thief exactly where all the valuables are and I don’t suppose that “cracking” this particular safe would cause much of a problem to a skilled safe-breaker. Fortunately though safe-breakers aren’t as widespread as Hollywood heist movies would suggest so I don’t think that that particular problem will be relevant for this.
Good Safe
This is a sturdy Home Safe for Documents and other variables. I like the use of the combination and an emergency key. I am finding the code more work than I desire to do so I am just sticking with the key. I was not sure of how much room this offers and after opening it I found it is more than I thought. Clear instructions included.
This is heavy, as you’d expect and sizewise it’s about twice the size of your average hotel safe. It appears well built and very sturdy with expanding bolts and holes in the base and back so you can drill into the wall and floor to secure this in place. It’s not claiming to be fire resistant however it’s purely a secure safe for storage.
Really easy to use, there is a panel at the front with a key hole and the digital keypad. There should have been a little cover to go over the keyhole but mine was missing…. not a problem really. The keypad requires 4AA batteries which were not provided and you set your own 6-digit access code with the option of using the key instead. There is a little green LED light that flashes when you’ve entered the correct code and this green light is accompanied by an amber light if the batteries are running low to give you advance warning if the batteries are running low. No idea yet how often the batteries will need changing, but it’s nothing to worry about because if they run out unexpectedly you will still be abl3 to open it with the key.
There is a shelf inside which is useful but can be easily lifted up and removed if you prefer to store something larger inside.
The safe is a good size. Simple instructions with removable shelf in side. Can open just using the key of put batteries in and use a code. Feels sturdy with bolts included if you want to fix it to a surface. I’m impressed. Came well packaged and the instructions are easy to read.
J’ai test le coffret fixer AmazonBasic et j’ai t agrablement surpris par ses finitions. Noir, il est discret, livr avec deux cls de scurit pour une ouverture manuelle. On peut programmer une combinaison lectronique, une fois avoir introduit 4 piles non fournies.
La programmation est facile et un Check est fait de temps en temps pour vous indiquer le changement des piles devenues trop faibles.
J’ai apprci l’etagere Au milieu et la bonne hauteur du cube.
Ce coffre est livr avec 4 fixations bton, il peut fixer au sol et/ou au mur …. top!!
