It is large in size - my husband and I live alone and usually change our trash bag just once or twice a week with this! When closed, it seems to block odors. The only complaint I have is it is a little difficult to click the latch when I want to keep the lid up for changing the bag. Otherwise, I love this trash can!

Der Mlleimer macht in seiner Edelstahloptik einiges her. Er wurde bei uns fr den gelben Sack (gelber Punkt) Mll angeschafft und da passt mit 50 Liter einiges rein. Der Deckel lsst sich mit dem groen Fubettiger (Trittfeld 5 x 19 cm) leicht und ohne Probleme heben. Beim langsamen Senken des Deckels hrt man gar nichts. Der Deckel schliet gut und soweit dicht, dass keine oder kaum Gerche entweichen. Die Deckelhebestange ist aus Metall und endet im Deckel in einer stabilen Kunststofffassung. Die Auenmae betragen bei der 50 Liter Version (HxBxT) in cm: 65,4 x 42,3 x 31,5 (ohne Fupedal). Der Innenkorb ist aus harten, schwarzen, geschlossenen Kunststoff. Zum entnehmen des Korbs hat er an beiden Seiten Griffkerben und ein Griffloch an der Rckseite. Zum Entnehmen des Korbs kann man den Deckel in aufrechte Position bringen und er bleibt dann offen stehen. Wenn der Korb entnommen ist kann man ohne Probleme den Mllsack einbringen. Die Mae des Innenkorbs sind in cm: (HxBxT) 58 x 39 x 26.
Zum Transportieren des Mlleimers hat er noch einen integrierten Griff auf der Rckseite und auf der Unterseite zwei Gumminoppen damit er beim Stand nicht verrutscht. Auf Grund des Edelstahls lsst er sich auch prima und dauerhaft reinigen. Von der rundum stabilen Ausfhrung gehe ich (oder hoffe ich) von einer langen Nutzungsdauer. Daher eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

Hat eine groes Volumen, und der Deckel ist ebenfalls gro, so dass nichts daneben geht. Das Disign gefallt mir auch sehr gut, ich mag es dass der Deckel abgefedert schliet somit ersteht kein klappgerusch.

Sehr gut verarbeitet und schön.
Lieferung super schnell und gut verpackt. Mller macht einen guten Eindruck, Pedal wackelt nicht und der langsame Schliemechanismus ist auch super. Den Geruch des Plastik wie es in den anderen Rezensionen gesehen habe, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Deckel ist ja immer geschlossen und der Mll stinkt mehr als das Plastik.

I bought this bin after 2 sensor bins broke down and I decided to buy a trusty pedal bin instead.
I carefully looked at all options on Amazon and decided to buy this one – and very glad I did!! It’s a lovely big size and the plastic inner which lifts out is absolutely wonderful as it helps keep the inside of the bin nice and clean. The outside doesn’t show fingerprints and is very easy to clean both inside and out. Unlike the sensor bins, I don’t have a time limit on how long I have to scrape any food debris into the bin. It’s very reliable and I’m extremely happy with this bin. I wish I’d found it ages ago!
**********UPDATE**********
After just a few months, the bottom has broken out of the compartment that holds the slow close ram so now the lid just bangs down. Amazon did give me a partial refund though.
I’m really happy with this purchase. Even though it’s a bit expensive, it’s very sturdy and looks amazing in the kitchen.
I would highly recommend this over other cheap plastic bins as this will definitely last for a long time. Pedal works great and soft close is nice to have. Overall very satisfied with this product!

Neben dem geschmackvollen uerem bietet der Abfallbehlter sehr viel Stauraum – mehr als fr einen 35 Literbeutel. Ein stabiler Fuhebel zum ffnen und das sanfte Schlieen des Deckels vervollstndigen den guten Gesamteindruck. Und fr uns ein sehr erfreulicher Nebeneffekt: Unser Hund kommt nicht mehr an den Abfall, weil er den Trick mit dem Fuhebel noch nicht erfasst hat und mit der Schnauze den Deckel nicht mehr aufschieben kann.

The inner removable bucket is a good plus, its going to be a lot easier to clean out when gunk accumulates. It looks and feels like a sturdy bin, the metal outer feels solid and has already had a toddler collide with it, with no dents on either bin or toddler.
I think if you are ready for an upgrade from a plastic bin, this is a fuss free manual option. It isnt cheap, but it is a good standard quality that you can see what you paid for.

Ho acquistato questa pattumiera a pedale dopo una accurata ricerca fra tutte quelle proposte sia su amazon che altri siti. Alla fine ho scelto di fidarmi di un prodotto di amazon basic ed ho fatto bene. La utilizzo ormai da due mesi per la raccolta della carta ed uso sacchetti da 80 litri (un po’ grandi). Arrotolo il sachetto utilizzando uno spazietto sul retro del cestello interno, per tenerlo teso, Alla chiusura del coperchio il sacchetto scompare completamente. La trovo silenziosa all’apertura e la chiusura delicata. Molto elegante e difficilmente rimangono le impronte. Facile l’estrazione e l’inserimento del cestello per due piccole manigliette laterali. Molto capiente, adesso svuoto la carta ogni 2 settimane invece che ogni settimana. Trovo ottimo il rapporto qualit/prezzo. La consiglio vivamente.

It’s a bin and it shouldn’t be difficult but there’s a lot of crap bins out there!
We get none of the smells, it is easy to clean and is sturdy enough to withstand a family of fives rough daily use!
The only negative is that it is difficult to hind the bin bag.

I don’t know how I ever lived without this trash can. I never thought I could be so happy about this. Seriously! I have had this trash can for about 6 weeks now and it works perfectly. For 13 years, we have used a smaller can under the kitchen sink. We use the sturdy drawstring trash compactor bags from Costco because the other 13 gal bags often leaked. The problem was we either wasted half the bag by throwing it away before it was full or sat it on the kitchen floor and filled it. The compactor bags are tall enough to fit over the liner and get tucked in when inserted into the stainless can. The bag has never come loose from the liner.
I really struggled with the idea of having a trash can out in the open which I have never had. But, this can looks really nice, keeps the trash smell hidden until opened and is quiet in operation. I have tripped over the foot pedal a few times but definitely is not a deal breaker. The removable can liner is very sturdy and when the trash is heavy, I use that to carry the bag downstairs. I haven’t had to wash it because there have been no bag leaks and it fits snugly into the stainless can so no food can spill down the side of the liner.

Cependant, ne pas poser vos mains dessus car les traces de doigts se voient beaucoup.
galement, le bac intrieur n’est pas trs pratique pour l’installation du sac. En effet le sac dpasse sur le tour du couvercle ce qui empche le couvercle de fermer correctement. Prvoir un sac avec poignes pour serrer le contour du bac afin de minimiser ce problme
Le systme de pdale l’air un peu souple. J’espre qu’il va durer dans le temps.

Love this bin, it is a great size for a family and my bin bags fit well into it. The finish is lovely and doesn’t show fingerprints either which is a bonus. Love the soft closing and the peddle to open it, thought this would be a better option than the ones that open with the wave of a hand – much less to go wrong! It’s great and a good price for a 50L bin. Would definitely recommend.

Good, solid bin but the spring on the lid broke within a few days of our receiving it so the lid now closes more heavily. Still functional but that was a bit disappointing.
I have 4 dogs some of which are on different food. First I ordered one of these garbage cans to see if I liked it. Within 24 hours of receiving it, I ordered the second one. Each can will hold the biggest bag of dog food sold in stores with some room to spare. My dogs drool on the stainless steel and it’s a “no fuss, no muss” clean up

For me it was expensive since my previous bin cost me 8.00. However I love the look foot pedal is just what I needed to avoid touching bin lids. Also no food smells emit from the bin.

It was nice.... UPDATE! NOT worth the money DANGEROUS for toddlers/babies
Positives: easy to clean, food pedal works well, has more capacity to fill the garbage bags than our old can and it looks really nice. It hasn’t been dented yet and not for a lack of trying with two toddlers drumming on it.
Cons: There is a gap in the back right behind where the bag is and the hinge that holds the lid and crumbs like to get in there so I find myself regularly vacuuming it out.
2 months later… When you pull out the black liner of the can there is a silver pneumatic cylinder on the backwall that slows the trash can lid from slamming back down. This has failed and slides down below the case meant to keep it in place. We couldn’t find a piece of plastic that broke off to figure out what went wrong. Now, you can slow the trash can lid down from slamming and making a very LOUD noise by using the foot pedal.
Our 2 year old and 19 month old can not operate the food pedal and are used to being able to raise the lid with their fingers and it pausing for a beat so they are able to throw trash/crumbs away. They like to help pick up and it’s been no problem until now and this trash can lid will slam down and smash their little fingers and seriously hurt them. Do NOT buy this trash can if you have small children.
Globalement satisfait du produit ! Elle est belle, grande (vraiment grande), assez robuste, facile nettoyer… Mais pourquoi n’y a t il pas un systme pour cacher le sac poubelle une fois celle ci referme…???? Et si un systme est prvu pourquoi n’y a t il pas de notice explicative livre ?!?!

J’ai achet cette poubelle pour son style alu bross qui change un peu du style plastique.
Le seul hic c’est le vrin qui retient le capot, la fameuse fermeture douce, qui ne fait plus le boulot au bout de trois mois du coup a claque l’ancienne quand je ferme.

Das ist ein Mlleimer von 50 l – total schick! Ja, man kann keine Mlltrennung vornehmen, da keine Zwischenwand im Eimer, aber das war von mir auch nicht gewollt und beabsichtigt. Tolle Qualitt – zeitnahe Lieferung – super verpackt, damit auch kein Kratzer oder Beule rankommt.

This is a VERY nice looking and practical bin. It doesn’t get dirty as quickly as other bins as it has a pedal but if it does… it’s very easy to clean and doesnt leave streak marks. I would def recommend as it is very good quality. Also it hides the bin bag very well just as long as you get the right size – I used 50ltr ones.

Es precioso y por ahora funciona perfectamente, tiene retardo en el cierre por lo que no hace ruido. Las bolsas del mercadona de 50 litros le van estupendamente y se aprovecha toda la bolsa ya que llega hasta el fondo. Las huellas si se quedan marcadas pero al no necesitar tocar para abrir no le doy importancia. Solo espero que dure mucho.

I replaced a receptacle with an automatic lid of the same size. The first thing I noticed was that this one seems to hold more. I like the design, and the look, but there are a few tweaks that could be made to make this better. I am just going to have to get used to them and it would not prevent me from buying it again. (4 stars). The first tweak would be to make the spot where the inner hinge meets the inner liner. The trash bag, when inserted over the liner, can prevent the hinge from closing all the way. The bag needs to be folded in to stop it from happening. The second tweak would be to change the hinge design or make the top thinner, as this has to be about 1.5-2″ away from the wall to work. (This would not have been an issue for me if I never had the automatic lid receptacle because that has zero clearance needs) The final thing to tweak, put some sort of anti-skid feet on it. When my kids step on the pedal, they push the can back to the wall. I am constantly pulling it back. (Which gets fingerprints on it). This is a nice product. Worth the money so far!

Est muy bien, tiene mucha capacidad, la tapa se abre con un pedal y luego se cierra despacio. Tiene por dentro un cubo de plstico para sacar fcilmente la bolsa de la basura. Es de acero inoxidable y se limpia con facilidad. Estoy muy contenta con la compra.

Trs bonne poubelle vu le prix. Acier inox elle fait son poids et semble trs qualitative. Un bac intrieur est pratique et vite de salire le fond de la poubelle. Sympa aussi un petit systme vite le couvercle de se refermer d un coup. Elle est donc silencieuse.
Franchement contente du style et de la taille ! Bonnes finitions, grand volume et trs bien emball. 1 toile en moins car pour moi 50 reste cher pour une poubelle mme si je reconnais qu’elle est trs bien, je pensais que la marque Amazon serait moins cher que ces concurrents.
I’m super pleased with the quality of this bin, it’s a little larger than the average bin and has 50 L volume, so it holds quite a lot. The quality is good and it’s very sturdy, although the walls of it can tend to flex if you hold them when moving it, which isn’t really a flaw.
It’s perfect for standard black bin bags which fit in it well without slipping.
The lid is the best feature, it closes very quietly and just slow enough not to make a sound and fast enough that it’s not annoying. It’s a huge upgrade over a standard bin and I’m very pleased with it.
(Yes it’s just a bin! You might be wondering what’s so exciting about it? xD As a person who has only known plastic trash cans, there is a lot to like.)
Une poubelle vraiment de trs bonne qualit et son design moderne se fond dans le dcor.
Pouvant contenir des sacs de 50 (et 60 apparemment) litres, cette poubelle est pratique.
Elle est relativement haute (pratique pour ne pas se casser le dos) et son systme intrieur permet de maintenir la perfection le sac.
Le systme de pdale est trs pratique et fonctionne parfaitement bien.
Elle insalissable ou/et sinon extrmement facile a nettoyer.

A good and roomy waste bi
This is a decent waste bin and I’m using it for my recycling — it has no sharp edges (which is a plus for me), an inner plastic lift-out bin and soft close lid. The foot pedal is large so there’s no risk of ‘missing’ it as you go to use it. All in all a pleasant design and, depending on the price (not listed as I write) I would probably have bought it if I’d seen it in a shop.
First impressions well packaged but it did have a small dent on the side. This bin holds a lot so ideal for families and has a 50 litre capacity. Lid is soft closing and best thing is even though it’s a nickel metal bin and usually these get covered in grubby fingerprints this one doesn’t it stays looking lovely and shiny. The inside comes out easily for cleaning and changing bin bags.
There is a good size pedal for opening. I would definitely recommend this bin 100%.
We got this to replace our Brabantia because most of the plastic bits had started to fail. There seems to be a lot less plastic on this bin. The pedal prevents handprints getting on the lid when you’re cooking and have food on your hands. There is an internal plastic bin that the bin liner fits over, meaning the the bin liner is invisible once fitted.
The shape means that this bin takes up less space than the round Brabantia one.

Before seeing you in person, I thought maybe you might prefer living in a more commercial or clinical setting, but when you finally arrived I was so impressed with your hard working attitude, solid build yet slim stature, and how well you fit in to our home. Unlike others with your same exterior makeup, you stay so nicely groomed and resist grime and smudges and you require such little maintenance to retain that wonderful glow that we’ve grown to admire. And would I hide you away in a dark room because of what you are? Heck no! You’re gorgeous and you shine! You’ve heard the compliments.
You’re also as nice on the inside as you are on the outside and I knew from the minute I dressed you in that unfashionable loose fitting 15 gallon tall kitchen bag which you happily accepted, that you were the one for us. Others may have rejected that, but you easily made it fit and didn’t require anything custom or a special size. You’re an easy keeper!
You work hard to keep us happy, organized and clean and you accept anything we may throw your way, no matter how disgusting it may be. You’re discreet and you always keep a tight lid on it all. You perform your work in such a quiet, gentle manner and you never get mad and slam things. We seem to step on your foot a lot and you never complain or get crazy and flip your lid. It seems you’re able to hold a LOT in, and there’s times I’m worried you’ll explode having to put up with the odor, weight and stress. But somehow you persevere. And you’re so happy when you see me approaching with a new Fabreeze Lemon scented Glad bag. You sure don’t ask for much!
