Thought I would give this kit a go before forking out 60 on a new pair. The instruction at the top are so easy to follow. Ribbons were a little fiddley but apart from that it was pretty straightforward. Tested them afterwards and work amazingly if mot better than before! Well worth the purchase!

I didn’t expect much for 8, but the quality was far better than expected for the tools themselves (for perspective I paid about 6 just for the screwdriver that opens the joy con before). I haven’t used the spare joy stick (once opened up, stick a small square of a business card or something similar over the casing for the joy con, fixes drift instantly without even unplugging anything from the motherboard!)
It’s a good joystick. Easy enough to replace (no soldering), handy to get the screwdrivers if you don’t have a professional kit at home. Saved my joycon, I’m happy.

Includes everything you need to do the job, which is nice. I think these replacement sticks are better than the stock sticks actually – slightly grippier and more comfortable rubber on the top. Very happy that I still have one spare as well to replace left stick when it inevitably goes.

I was worried about replacing these myself but ended up being all easier than I expected. The instructions really clear and helped a lot. Highly recommend trying this before replacing the joycon as fraction of the price.
Excellent product, joycon stick fitted perfectly and the tools supplied made the repair very easy. A quick joycon calibration in the switch settings and I now have a fully working right joycon with a spare just in case!

The quality of the screwdrivers is best described as adequate, they do the job but probably won’t last for years. That doesn’t really matter because for the price, I would order another set like this and get new ones if I need to do this job again.
The parts for the controller are perfect, job done and the grand children went away happy.

Joystick replacement was fairly straightforward, I think most people will have no problem doing it themselves.
These joysticks feel just like the original ones and fixed the drifting problem once and for all.
I have got these kits before and they don’t work; this one did. All the tools and parts are there and it didn’t take me too long to fix!
These work for both joy-cons (left and right), and following a simple guide you can find on YouTube, all tools are provided for you to easily fix up your joy-cons.
Having had these installed for over 2 months, and been through vigorous usage, I can certainly say these are perfect for the job. The only criticism I could say about these, is they feel a bit rough when you first get them, but given a week of usage they end up feeling great.
Update: 6 months on, these are still working perfectly and the joysticks feel perfect. I have recently purchased a second set of these to repair a family members joy con drift issue, and these worked/fit perfectly like the first set and have completely resolved the issue. I could not recommend these more than I already have.

I’d recommend getting a better tri-tip screwdriver as I did strip 2 screws. Needed to calibrate the joystick after installation, but apart from that, they work well!

Child stood on jog con, snapped off the joystick. This kit had everything to replace the broken joystick. Also helpful video on YouTube to show each step. I’m not an expert but I managed to complete the repair. Quite straightforward.

After doing my research I decided to give this a chance, rather than having to go through sending off my controllers and having to wait for them. I’m glad I did in the end because these replacements worked perfectly.

The controllers for the switch had gone sticky due to sticky hands etc from kids managed to fix both of them no problem with this tool set. Much cheaper than buying 2 controllers. Would defo recommend
My left switch controller was suffering with drift, so I purchased a new set. However, decided to have a go at repairing the original controller and replacing the joy stick. I wish I had done this prior to purchasing new controllers as this was so easy and works perfectly now.

The process is a bit fiddly and I would suggest two people for this (one to hold things steady or to shine a torch to help).
Watch out for the two screwdrivers as one is Y and the other a small Phillips (they are clearly marked but I didn’t read properly and ended up ruining one of the screws).

Had joycon drift and out of warranty so not nintendo’s problem…… was almost tempted to buy a new joycon but came across this, significantly cheaper! and very straightforward guidance via a recommended YouTube video. End up taking the whole thing apart which I didn’t expect but all necessary tools are provided. Actually pretty satisfying to have fixed it myself and stick strikes me as good quality so very pleased.

These Joy Con Analog Sticks are spot on! They arrived quickly and well packaged and look just like the original ones. Surprisingly easy to install too. Both sticks are now fitted and my joy cons are now working just as they did when I first bought them. I’ll be buying these again when my other 2 joy con sticks inevitably fail.

My first change of this type and was a little fiddly to do, but was just like the images and video helped explain some more on the ribbon change. The tools were all helpful. The actual control stick seems to have better feedback than the original Nintendo one. Didn’t need to calibrate and has no drift.
Brought this as a experiment to fix my son’s Nintendo switch controller before spending out on a brand new one …. Following a YouTube video I found it very easy and really pleased Ive done it, now I will be able to fix it every time he breaks it with no problem or extra costs
After getting fed up with Nintendo of Europe’s dismal customer service after they decided joycon drift wasn’t their fault or their problem, I decided to take matters into my own hands. This kit was cheap and came with everything needed to replace the faulty joystick in my left joycon. It was slightly nerve-wracking and fiddly but the step-wise instructions were clear and accurate. The first of the two replacement joysticks didn’t work properly so I took it out and threw it across the room. The second one seems to work fine so now I have a drift-free left joycon for the first time in two years. The moral of the story is: Nintendo of Europe don’t care about their customers and they suck.
Works great, previously bought some from a different seller which did not work, these turned up and 5 minute later, perfectly working controls! Highly recommend!
Most importantly though, after about 5 – 10 minutes of getting it fitted, the joycon drift is completely gone! The thumbstick feels great, slightly better than the other one (maybe because that’s now a few years old and not been replaced) and works exactly as it should. I seriously haven’t noticed any downsides at all, and I’ve got a spare from this 2 pack should the other one ever fail me.
If you’re looking at the many options not knowing what to go for then I hope this helps… this kit contains great quality components, just the right amount of extras to get the job done and no more, came quickly and was a brilliant price. Just buy it.
So glad to have discovered this product. All the necessary tools plus two joysticks, so really this is saving the cost of two joy cons. Not quite as easy to carry out the replacement as it looks in the youtube video, but I managed in under 15 minutes with bad eyesight and numb fingers.

The best way I’ve found for the right joy con is to leave all connectors in place. The mid frame can be unscrewed and moved out of the way with only moving the antenna pcb (grey lead) without disconnecting it, the Zr/Zl button cable (be careful as it’s very fragile!) or the battery connector.
The two screws that hold the stick in can then be accessed, although the gasket is a little fiddly when removing. This leaves only the ribbon cable for the stick to disconnect, and the tools supplied helped with this.
Hopefully they will last a reasonable amount of time before having to swap them again!
Very happy with product, comes with instructions and a link to a YouTube video. Tools were good quality especially the screwdrivers. A much cheaper way to sort Nintendo Joy Con drift which is very very common. The price of replacing the controller’s were over 50 the price for two sticks less then a tenner. I now have a spare if I need one as I only replaced one.

Order the joysticks on Monday night, they we with me Tuesday morning. Fitted by lunchtime that day took 20 minutes following the link to the YouTube instructions all the tools were provided in the kit.
My switch is now back up and running with no joy con drift. Tested by my daughter she didn’t even notice the difference compared to her new Switch.

I brought this as my sons joycon had really severe drift, the delivery was prompt and well packaged, with all the tools required to do the fix. I found the pictures that are online with this item a little confusing so I just watched a couple of videos on u tube, and within 30 minutes had it fitted and working great, with having a bonus of a spare.
