A great addition to my Godox lights. Fits perfect and shades the light just how I want it. It’s a bit fidgety to place it into the godox light head but once you get the grip of it it’s effortless. Nice buy
Softbox senza troppe pretese.
Una softbox davvero senza troppe pretese, fa bene il suo lavoro. Costruttivamente parlando robusto e solido ma pecca di qualche dettagli non proprio al top (cuciture un po’ larghe che lasciano filtrare la luce lateralmente). Costruttivamente parlando avrei sistemato meglio il bloccaggio attacco bowens con il paraluce delegato ad una semplice vite e dado che dopo qualche utilizzo si svita (ed ho gi perso). Buono il doppio velo bianco interno, per ammorbidire ulteriormente la luce.

The whole unit feels heavy and can’t be operated with one hand. If you’re a photographer who operates alone, you need to be careful in handling this with one hand as it gets heavy to move around. The results of the softbox is great. I’ve been using it with my Godox AD 200 and it has provided great results. If you prefer larger catchlights and more softer light output, you should go for a larger octabox, but this suffices my requirement and my style of photography in weddings and other shoots.

The box is basic In design but good quality.
It has little light leakage.
The diffuser is of average quality but does the trick. I use it for my YouTube channel.
Most importantly it fits in a corner of my small office on a stand without getting in the way

Five Star for the money...
For the money it’s not a bad product. However, my copy had three issues that can be overcome with a little DIY. The front diffuser, straight out of the packet, had an issue in that the Velcro was parting company with the material in a small area but quickly realized if not dealt with it would come off all the way round it?.
I had an online chat with Amazon and they offered to send a label to send it all back. Has it had taken three or four days to arrive via Prime I really didn’t want to go through the hassle again. I thought they would have just replaced the defuser. I was asked if I thought it was repairable but thought it would cost more to have it repaired locally and reinforced all round it. Anyway, I said I will get it repaired locally and they offered 6 in compensation that I accepted under the circumstances. I found the chat facility very good indeed, I would use it again.
The second issue was the whole assembly fell apart taking it off the flash head bending the modeling lamps prongs in the socket and closely missing the main tube. The issue was the nut coming loose and the umbrella shaft dropped off collapsing the lot – be aware. It was quickly reminded with a struggle by putting a locking washer on it but don’t over tighten it because if you strip the thread you will end up in the cow shed if you do.
The other irritant is that the Knurled Nut that stops or lessens the tension for it to rotate also works its way lose and needs a spring washer behind it but I haven’t got one at present.
So, with that in mind I would still buy another for the price because the rest of the product seems solid enough. It just needs to be inspected when it leaves the assembly line.

The best part is you can change the adapter and use it on an elinchrom mount.
It produce soft light as it has double diffuser, it’s hard to setup initially but once done u can store as it is and it fits inside the bag that is included
… ovvero ottimo rapporto qualit prezzo. S, ok… qualche santo, nel momento del montaggio, sente il suo nome risuonare nel cielo, ma alla fine il softbox molto buono. Una volta montato lo si richiude e lo si mette nella sua custodia ed subito pronto per la volta dopo. Personalmente uso solo uno dei due diffusori (quello pi esterno) ma ovviamente una scelta che dipende dal faro con il quale lo si usa. Tutto sommato ottimo acquisto, arrivato perfetto e puntuale!
Great value softbox
I need this for video for my lights that require Bowens fitting – this is much sturdier than I was expecting for the money and I already know and use some Andoer bits and pieces already so that may give an idea of just what good value I think this is. 2 things, one I’m ordering second to go with a new Aputure light and second, I have a bit of a gripe with this. It was a bugger to put together, each umbrella rod needs to go through three sets of material and getting those apart to get the metal rod through is less than easy – the end is result is well worth the effort but I wish they’d made it easier. Thankfully once made it rolls into its nice carrying bag without needing dismantling.
Sturdy soft box, works for filming.
It’s relatively easy to set up, once I did it once, just kept the umbrella and stored it in a bag it came in. Would be great if the bag had long strap.
Used it with constant light (Aputure 120D mkII) and it looked fine.

Good quality product from Godox. Initially takes time to setup the softbox but once you are done, you will find it very easy to use. Ideal for outdoor shoots, but 120cm is recommended better for Outdoor if you specifically do more outdoor shoots. The product is light weight and durable. Totally worth it. Thanks Amazon for delivering it on time.

However, then it's done and breaking this out is almost as easy as an umbrella. The bag is an exact fit for everything, and I wish it would just slide in an oversized bag. The quality of light is my favorite and the extended panels around the edges offer more control of light. I have about a dozen softboxes and this is my go to. I've taken it on a couple highschool and family shoots and a fashion shot. It holds up better than the pop designs which are starting to wear on the silver. I love this softbox, and I am going to name my first child after you, Godox. You are awesome.

Buona costruzione e diffusione delle luci
Consigliato anche a fotografi esigenti che non statto cercando PROPho…. ma che hanno esigenza di un buon octabox senza spende un patrimonio. Si chiude facilmente, ha una sua custodio con diffuore e la luce le ombre sono di tutto rilievo come qualit.
This box gives some of the best light I’ve seen for single portrait, medium sized product even at slightly further distances than you’d expect. However build quality is very poor and it’s impossible to tighten the mount ring to fix the modifier to the light. Up to now I’ve been really happy with Godox gear, especially their lighting equipment but this was the first and last time I’ve bought one of their modifiers. I feel quite disappointed as they have always been a company I recommend to others.
Since writing the above I’ve learnt to take a paper clip with me to move the washer towards the nut. I think I feel more frustrated than anything else because the light from this box with the grids on is wonderfully soft and directional. It’s very easy to put up and down and it also works quite well as a deep umbrella, but this isn’t my first choice in how to use it. If asked if I could recommend the modifiers I’m hesitant as it isn’t right and reading other comments I’m not the only one who has had these problems. However, I’ve given it another star.
Easy to open/close - mount/dismou
Ok, i gotta say i love this softbox, once you manage to put it together the first time because its not assembled, its all easy and fast opening – mounting, dismounting – closing it with the diffuser and the baffle attached to it and then it is stored on its included bag, i wish the bag had like a handle attached in the middle for easier carrying or a strap would have been nice.
Now the reason why i gave this product 4 stars its because the center rod was unsteady/wobbly, i tightened the nut in one end of the rod but after one opening/closing of the umbrella it went shaky again, the nut wasnt tight, i had to fix it using a rubber washer for the nut and problem solved, and same thing for thumb screw that tighten/loosen the spinning of the umbrella from the bowens mount, using another rubber washer fixed that too.
I bought this, needing a softbox that I can take on location, and something that is easy to set up and break down. This thing is perfect. Gives me the right amount of light and easy to use.

Don’t know if it’ll last for a long time yet, hence I give only 4 stars.
This is well made overall. It’s a bit fiddly to assemble the first time but you only have to do that once. After that it’s just a matter of opening it like an umbrella and putting the diffusion material in place and (optionally) fixing the egg crate. It takes 10-15 minutes to do the initial setup and then erecting it and fitting the diffusers takes a couple of minutes.
The Bowens mount adapter is loose and rotates. There is a nut which is supposed to clamp it and stop it rotating. This works by trapping the edge of the adapter with a washer. Unfortunately the washer is slightly too small. This means that you think you’ve fixed the adapter but when you try to mount the thing on a light it slips out as you are twisting the softbox. The proper solution is to replace the washer with a larger one. However you can fold back the material at the base of the softbox and hold the adapter and the speedring and mount it on the light without it rotating.
