Exactly what you’d expect from this brand, its well built and the sound quality is great. Can’t say for sure on the battery life at this point but I’m sure it’ll be fine.
This might be the best thing I’ve ever ordered from Amazon. Absolutely blown away by the sound quality from this boombox. The bass is just incredible. Really well designed and easy to take anywhere. Just get one, you won’t be disappointed.

Firstly sound quality is great even with really bass m heavy songs so definitely recommend if you love bass but I’ve had this speaker 2 years now and it still has good battery life which is the most impressive thing, I’ve even dropped the speaker a few times and it still works like brand new.

I upgraded to this Anker item after having 2 x older Anker Bluetooth portable speakers for a few years. They were OK sound wise but connection was very poor and one unit would cancel out the other!
This new sound boom speaker has amazing quality sound, great bass and it a doddle to connect. So much better than the older models. Plus you have a carry handle and it is fully waterproof for use in the garden. 5* item.
I bought it for the garden it’s very.good for to the price. If you want not to loud and cheap boombox I recommend this. If you want a louder one but the next one up

Bought so we could have background music in function room after funeral, was impressed, good sound quality and filled the room.
After reading the many rave reviews of the Soundcore motion boom I was disappointed with quality of sound it gave, even after adjusting the settings in the app. It is not a bad speaker just don’t expect hifi.
Good for the garden but not to sit and really listen to music.
I loved the sound core 3 but this is on a different level. The bass is the first thing. It’s briliant but too much. I love having a speaker that is too loud just simply so I can turn it down. This is an amazing experience in fidelity. Try it for 60 quid you might not buy another.
Compact and light. Loud enough to hear in the garden. Really easy to use.
The unexpected feature I really liked is the multiple bluetooth connections – my phone and iPad both connect to it when I turn it on and transition seamlessly between the 2.
I’d say the audio quality is about on par with a Sonos Play:1 but with the exception that this speaker *doesn’t* down mix to Mono like the Sonos does – so the soundstage seems much better.

This speaker has got a good sound for the price, the bass is punchier and the vibrating logo on the side adds to the feel. Overall good product is you purchase during a sale.

So I was looking for a portable just on a whim didn’t really want to down as over 100 as it was a whim but also want something half decent was looking at the usual suspects Bose etc all well over 100. This came up in a recommended item tab. Had a look 1000’s of reviews and was 65 so I took the punt. When I got it out the box I was shocked at how decent this was for 65. Bangin little speaker for the Money. Very happy with the purchase
Surprised at the weight of this speaker, definitely well built. I’m not an expert in sound systems but had a soundcore mini which had a good sound so opted for this at a reduced price and then with a further 22 discount. Really pleased with the sound quality, does seem to pack a punch for a smallish speaker, overall very pleased with it. Like that it’s waterproof and floats.

Had been considering a big brand like Sonos, Bose or W-King 😉 but looking at the reviews on this one decided to give it a go.
I’m no GoldenEars HiFi beard so maybe my opinion on sound quality isn’t worth much but I was impressed how well this little unit played my dad music.

Perfectly perfect for my purpose of just blasting tunes during turbo training sessions and other random things around the house. I am sure audiophiles will have their own thoughts but this is much more than what one could need for a great listening experience.

We had already purchased two of the 20 Anker speakers. Because the sound was so good from these little speakers maybe we were expecting more for 80. It is probably a case of diminishing returns. A good clear sound but won’t blow you away.
Bought this to take on a long holiday to use by the pool. It was money well spent. I didn’t have to worry about it on the ground next to the pool getting wet it was fine – even when a sudden rainstorm passed. The sound is incredible, booming bass if you want it or you can use the app & adjust the sound with an EQ and it gives you the option to save and name more than 1 EQ setting so you can adjust it for inside/outside etc. It also doubled up when we wanted a better sound from the tinny TV & we were able to use it through the laptop Bluetooth and had instant cinema sound!!! We placed it on the hard floor and the sound carried. Amazing!
This speaker is the best portable speaker I’ve ever heard. It’s well built and sturdy. The battery life is excellent, you can see the battery life icon on the app, though hardly had to charge it – that’s how good it is. It arrived in mint condition. Before it arrived I thought I might sell it after the holiday as it is quite pricey & I wasn’t sure how often I might use it after but I’m keeping this for sure!!
Wow, that’s all I can say. If your after the best quality sounding Bluetooth speaker for the money, this is it. Don’t waste money on W-King like i did. Just buy this and call it a day.

Nice sound range and good bass
Not as good as other similar sized speakers but that is to be expected with the price range.
Really exceeded expectations. For something so compact and portable, it packs an almighty punch of a sound and nice and loud too! I use it for performing arts classes, so it is more than capable of filling a big space and getting over lots of voices. Absolute bargain!
The best portable bluetooth speakers money can buy.
I wanted the best PORTABLE bluetooth speakers that you can take on holidays, to the park, etc… so large boom-boxes are out of the picture as they are too big. I mean portable.
Money was not an issue, so I went with the “best”, which is Minirigs 3 in a 2.2 setup; 2 speakers – 2 woofers… 140 each –> 540 in total. The sound quality was great, but establishing a connection was so bad, sometimes it took 15-20 mins struggle to pair and stuff… then constant lags, drop outs, stc.
Now, with the Soundcores, connecting and pairing works like a charm, 3 secs max. Never lags, no drop-outs. Sound quality is better than anything else for the size, except the Minirigs 3. The Minirigs 3 sounds, lets say 25% better (when it works)… but the overall listening experinece is 5x much better with the Soundcores, due to no issues and annoyments.
And yeah, this is when comparing 4 Minirigs speakers (2.2 system – 2 speakers + 2 woofers) to 2 Soundcores (2.0 – 2 speakers). Where 1 Minirig 3 costs 140 and a Soundcore was 78 after discounts, which is an absolute bargain for the quality.
Soundcore Motion Boom is simply the best quality portable speaker money can buy, they are also ridiculously cheap compares to other high-end speakers (eg Minirgis, JBL).

I own the above products consider myself someone who appreciate and seeks products that sound good. Throughout my life I have avoided products that have the word boom or bass in the name. Typically those products have high bass at the expense of mids or highs. It’s in my opinion one of the least desirable compromise except if you are buying a speakers for raves or disco. All speakers, regardless of price have a compromises.
When I purchased the Soundcore Anker Motion Boom I was expected to be disappointed or find the sound quality acceptable. However I would go as far as saying that it’s above acceptable and is genuinely satisfactory. The bass strikes a nice balance between punching hard whilst filling a room – all whilst not muddling the mid or the highs.
Out of the box, you have to use the EQ to make the speaker sound as it should. The sound is good but not spine tingling like my Bose Soundlink Micro. However, the Bose doesn’t fill the room with the same presence. Which one do I prefer? They are both very good but in different ways.
-Buy the Bose if you want a small, inconspicuous and speaker for listening to music.
-Buy the Soundcore if you don’t have a “Main” sound system and want to play music in a way that makes you move, dance and vibe!
It’s mighty impressive how much loud and room filling sound you can get from a battery powered speaker.
Size-wise it’s comparable to a small loaf of bread. Therefore it’s not small enough to store in a bag, jacket or draw. However it wears its size very well thanks to the mini boombox shape. In fact, the handle makes it feel easier to carry around the house than my Bose that’s smaller but doesn’t have a carrying handle.
What is it missing:
3.5mm jack! I would have happily paid a little bit extra to have this feature.
Been wanting one of these pill type speakers for a while.. wanted the JBL but didn’t want to pay JBL money. Looked at the Boom Motion Plus and then I stumbled across this beaut for 50 quid. Ordered it 1am in the morning when I was p*ssed, went to bed and forgot completely until it rocked up at 3.30pm the following day – and wow I love it. Sound straight out of the box is ok but it’s worth downloading the app and then spending 5 mins to creating your own eq profile. I love it. So much so I’m going to get another so I can pair them up! Worth the dosh
Not sure how it fares in different genres but hell, in metal it hits hard and precisely. Really good treble and mids and most important, which is rare in this kind of bt speakers, bass is there (and it its own way hits as it should, dont doubt that) but it is not muffling or overshadowing rest of the sound.
So if youre looking for bass heavy speaker, look elsewhere (as there is plethora of those contrary to opposite), but if you like your music to have more depth than pure pounce of bass that shakes everything look no further.
Another bigbplus is massive battery (about 20 hours of playtime) with possibility of charging your phone or other electrical equipment!
Only minus Ive noticed is lack of aptx or acc codecs… but I supose you cant have everything in this price range (65 in promotion) and sound for the price range is amazing.
This is one hell of portable bluetooth speaker I can’t believe the powerful sound it reproduces.
Deep rich bass, clear mid and high end all packed into a small portable, light weight speaker.
I had, and sold a Bose Soundlink Mini II which I wa always happy with but this Anker speaker outperforms it in every way from battery life (incredible) sound quality and bass reproduction not to mention the fact it can double up as a USB power bank.
For the cost (I got it on special offer for 65.00 from Amazon) it represents such good value for money.
I’ve got a lot of other Anker products and they make high quality kit, I have no doubts this speaker will be reliable and durable and, unlike my Bose I can use it in the bathroom as it’s waterproof.
Would highly recommend this speaker, if you’re in the market for a portable speaker this is the one you have to buy.
Fantastic mid size speaker! Tested full volume at 1 meter away playing black eyed boy by Texas as that song just opens with a wall of sound and meter said 100db! Any louder in a normal size room is no longer comfortable!
The sound is clearer than my JVC MX-D719PB which is a bassy two way 50w RMS trolley speaker although a couple of decibels less volume (which is about right as every 3 decibels is double the volume!) And about 1/6 the size and weight!
The sound range and clarity is incredible for a 1 way speaker and the bass boost makes a noticeable difference all the way to max volume which it doesn’t on my JVC!
I appreciate the app with the multi channel fully customisable graphic equaliser as randomly named presets with no actual graphic can be confusing.
I only own one Bluetooth speaker I’d rather listen to music on and this one weighs 1/10 of that monster!
The sound core 2 will always have its place but if you want something with a bit more volume (like the garden) and better quality then this is a great speaker. Sound quality is impressive, no distortion at high volume and still easy to carry around with the handle.
There is also the app to fine tune the sound to your taste.
I wouldn’t pay full price but for 69.99 I think it’s very good value. Finally the battery, just likes its little brother the soundcore2 , is impressive aswell.
This speaker and the soundcore2 covers all my requirements. I can recommend.

It may look a little simple, but such a good sound.
I’m a bit of an oldy so just put some Bob Mould, David Sylvian, Joni through it and it sounds really good on the default setting. With bass boost added it’s a little flabby at volume but don’t forget it hasn’t got huge woofers but at medium volume it sounds like it does.
Dua Lipa Cool is lovely.
Also got it at 69 – I would say an absolute bargain at that price. When no one’s home I’ll get cracking on the Metal back catalogue!!

This speaker is worth every penny u spent.. awesome sound in this price range. Bass is as awesome as u can expect from a speaker of this size.. I use it indoor in my bedroom only. Have not tested it outside but it is portable enough to carry around but u would consider that only if you have your own vehicle to move around. Else it’s gonna take a considerable space in your bag pack.

An amazing speaker that has a funky 80s design and is easily portable due to the handle. Has plenty of bass (which can be emphasised even more by selecting the special “bass” button) and sounds good across all genres, from Green Day to JS Bach.
I have two of these, one in each shower, and it’s perfect because you can blast music super loud in the morning and it doesn’t matter if they get wet. I had bought smaller bluetooth speakers for the shower previously (the ones that stick on the wall etc) and they were barely any louder than my phone speaker. This is properly loud.
