Hardened steelThe AnySharp uses tungsten carbide technology to extend the life of almost any knife. AnySharp works on virtually any knife, including expensive hardened steel knives. | Serrated knivesAnySharp even works with serrated blades* (like bread knives and hunting knives), making it unlike any knife sharpener, steel or sharpening stone you’ve ever used. *Not very fine toothed serrated knives. | No skill requiredThe optimum angle to sharpen a good quality steel knife is 20 degrees. AnySharp is pre-set at 20 degrees to give an optimum edge every time. Getting a consistent angle with a sharpening stone is a skilled job, but AnySharp allows anyone to get professional results without any training at all. |
AnySharp is Safer by Design

Hands free safetyThe AnySharp’s safety feature is its PowerGrip suction cup base, which attaches securely to any smooth surface or worktop without the need for any tools. Once it’s attached you can sharpen any knife safely hands free. | Knife edge safetyWhen your whole knife has been run through, your knife edge may touch as it exits the sharpening tools. The AnySharp has a long-lasting polymer guiding top that is softer than metal, and therefore won’t damage the metal edge, making it safe for your knives too. | Easy, light strokesWith a totally blunt knife, AnySharp will hone it to an optimal angle, and remove excess metal rapidly the first time you use it. AnySharp does not work well with heavy strokes or too much pressure. Please use only light pressure. |
Store it easily and conveniently out of the way
Since it is so small and light, AnySharp can be easily tidied away in a drawer, cupboard, or tool box when not needed. AnySharp is small enough to store in your kitchen drawer. You could even PowerGrip it to your fridge or tiled kitchen wall, out of the way yet handy when you need it.

Was optimistic when ordered this as in past I’ve had knife sharpeners that didn’t live upto expectations. How wrong I was, this is FANTASTIC, easy to use and leaves knives and scissors so sharp, for the price this is a bargain, highly recommended
Arrived next day. A really effective sharpener that’s easy and safe to use. My first one of these broke after 5 and a half years – suction cup parted company with the frame. At less than 14p a month I thought a replacement was fine. If anything the new one produces even sharper blades than the old. Highly recommended.
Cant fault this, great suction pad to worktop, great sharpening ability, very reasonable price.
Much better than the typical knife sharper people have in their drawer and cant use correctly.
Love it. Has an old sharpening tool that was doing a mediocre job. Decided time for an upgrade. Was a bit unsure about it. But I love it and brought one for my son and his wife
Makes a huge difference. And I still have my fingers.
was not expecting much, ran a very blunt knife through this a few times, and started chipping some leeks and peppers. I actually sighed with pleasure at how easy they were to chop :0)
Good suction to hold the sharpener and after first few knives have been sharpened I can say that it does the job well.
Should last longer than others I have had which have crumbled pretty easily.
Very surprised how good this is and cheap! Used a few products now and this being the best yet. Sharpens a really blunt blade in about 4 strokes and even managed to cut paper with it. Very happy, just hope it lasts
I took my knives to my brothers to have them sharpened he had recently purchased this nifty little item its a must have easy to use and does a good job. Its only small and firs in the gadget drawer for storage. I would say look at the prices the red was the most expensive then the blue and by several pounds the silver was sew much cheaper all doing the same job.
So I was reluctant to try this due to the infomercial style video’s but decided to take the plunge and you know what it is actually really good, my cutlery draw is now a hazard in a good way. All our knives now work a lot better after only a few passes and the suction cup is actually pretty strong
simple in concept it is, simple in use is stretching the truth. Imo it takes off too much metal and leaves a coarse finish to the blade edge, which leaves it needing finishing by fine honing or stropping.
Also if you don’t keep a continuous movement and even pressure on the blade,it leaves a micro jagged edge.
For a knife with a curved or tapered end it takes reasonable skill to to move through the full motion fluently.
Probably not ideal for a lot of serrated edge knives. but hey for most home users most of the time it gives a good result, so watch your fingers when using the newly sharpened knife.
On the whole I’m very impressed with this ‘Any Sharp’ tungsten sharpener & how little effort it takes to sharpen my knives compared to my old handheld device. I’m also grateful I can get replacement blades in the future. My only criticism (see photos) is that – due to large area of the upper flat surface immediately behind the sharpening-blades – I cannot sharpen the rearmost couple of centimetres of my filleting-knife, whereas the old handheld sharpener doesn’t exhibit this issue.
I was fed up of trying to cut vegetables and the like with knives that could double as butter ones. Looked on here and chose this one due to the reviews. It’s a small little thing but my god doesn’t it pack a punch. Suction to the kitchen worktop is very strong. You can tell as soon as you pull the knife along the sharpening edge it’s gonna be good. Not too much pressure is needed and ten or so draws and you’ve transformed your crap knife. It’s worth noting that a small amount of metal comes off the knife so make sure you give it a wipe once finished. It’s never gonna be as good as a wet sharpening stone but a very close second. Highly recommended
Had some rather blunt kitchen knifes that were years old but very good knifes over the years, after seeing this anysharp many times on adverts and on YouTube, wondering is it as good as everyone says it is? The answer is yes, after using a few times and then finishing the knifes off with the steel, they are like new.
Take your time when using the anysharp and then use a steel in the knifes, and you will have excellent results.
Would recommend anysharp to sharpen your knifes if like myself you don’t have the skill required to do a professional job on a stone, but use a steel after using the anysharp
I’m always a bit scepitcal about products like these, like how good can it really be?
But…it’s super simple to use and exceptionally effective. I have a set of pro-cook knives, bought about a year ago – nothing fancy or top of the range, just a decent set of knives.
I could tell that they were going blunt so thought I’d try this product out instead of getting a laborious Whetstone. 2/3 drags of the knife through the points and bosh, they’re sharp again!
Definitely try this for a super affordable, easy to use sharpener.
This any sharp product is great. Firstly its a very affordable and simple way to ensure your knifes at home stay sharp.
It takes very little space and sits neatly in the cupboard.
It has a suction cup style base which is very strong for mounting to the kitchen worktop. Once adhered it is highly unlikely that it will move when being used for its intended use.
There’s a handy direction arrow which shows the direction to draw your blade back to so you can’t get it wrong.
Within less than 10 drags of the knife blade across the tungsten sharpening part, my knife went from blunt to remarkably sharp.
Before sharpening I struggled to get a nice clean cut on chicken, some vegetables etc but after a matter of seconds of sharpening; the knife now cuts with ease.
It’s a good idea to remember this will produce some small metal filings so please remember to wash your knife and work surface before preparing food.
All in all I am very pleased.
Present for my wife. Suitably unimpressed when I gave it to her. A knife sharpenergee thanks. 15 minutes later she was hoping we had more knives to sharpen. Apparently this thing is amazing!
We have tried the long tubular thingy to sharpen knives which never seems to work well, so got this.
It is great, the suction can hold it on a wall so you can just pull the knife through it vertically, or can attach to a work top and use a horizontal pull through method.
It definitely works and gives new life to old knives. Can be used on bread knives, steak knives, chef knives etc we’ve sharpened a number of different types. Tested the bluntest with a tomato and it went from squashing to gliding through. Very pleased.
Perfect little tool, sharpened all my blunt knife. I would highly recommend.
Excellent product, I tried quite a few sharpeners, but this one works perfectly! Highly recommend!
For something so shall it is terrific. Good household use for for countertop suction and holds and gave my knives a new lease of life
So easy to use after 2 strokes I’m so happy that I can do it myself no need to ask anybody for help thanks
I bought this sharpener for my https://amzn.to/3SQZL9g set and its a match made in heaven. Could not be happier. By coincidence https://amzn.to/3RzAr6Q keeps my knifes sharper for longer.
Stick it to the worktop, draw back knife 3 times and very sharp worth buying
This is the BEST knife sharpener I’ve EVER used. 4 strokes BOOOOM. sharp. Buy buy buy!!!
Super happy with this product. It works like a treat. No more knives unsharpened in my kitchen.
This little gadget is excellent, it so easy to use and safe, it sharpens knives with ease and because of the great suction hands or fingers are not required to hold the item down keeping you safe.
WOOW. Ultimate product. Mind blowing. Value for money.. 10/10. Does what’s meant to to. Thanks for creating such item. Respect.
Compact sharpener which does the job. Good price and easy to store in drawer.
It is well made and very easy to use.
Pete. High Barnet.
Had planned to take out knives today knife sharpener and oay to get them up to scratch. This is a safe alternative to a wetting stone. Saved me money and petrol!
Can be hard to get it to suction as keeps coming away and needs replacing
However this is ok as sharpening skill is wonderful
Works well – unlike similar sharpeners of a similar design.
The last sharpener of this design I used was from Readers’ Digest. It tore lumps out of the knife edges, ruining them.
I was, therefore, apprehensive using this one. But it didn’t damage anything and sharpened the knives well.
Just make sure you draw the knives through in the correct direction.
I am well satisfied with this.
Sharpened any of my blunt kitchen knives. Quick and easy to use. Works a treat.
Does what it says, a great little things to have .I always am using this
Love it, makes cheap knives very sharp which is great for meal prep!! Sometimes the suction takes a few attempts to stick to the counter but if you add a drop of water underneath it, that helps!
I used this to sharpen a set of VERY blunt, expensive Richardsons knives … they are all now all razor sharp and will effortlessly cut through stuff they could not previously cut. Incredibly easy to use. I also like the fact that you can buy replacement blades if they start to lose their sharpening power. Great product.
Very good sharpener, it does take off quite a lot of metal and leaves a jagged edge but leaves knives very sharp.
Yes I would buy another, no I wouldn’t use this to sharpen a 50 or 60 knife.
Overall impressed with build quality and sharpness of knives
Very handy little sharpener. Great suction on worktop. Sharpens knives with only a few strokes. Very happy with purchase. Arrived very quickly too.
This was a gift, but I have 1 myself and its brilliant!
Very good results on knife with Normal edge to the blade. Simple to use, just place knife in and pull, as simple as that. If it’s an old knife with damaged edge use a steel first.
Great product and piss easy to use it and it’s a British product to.
Easy to mount on work bench in works van. Thought it was not sharpening at first but found it to be reshaping the cutting edge of the badly sharpend knives which I had be using a file on. Knives now very sharp, will definitely bye agai
This is a simple sharpener to use. Love it and I have had it with me for 2 years now! It’s as good as the first day I had it.
This is easily the best knife sharpener I have ever used. Absolutely brilliant. Knives so sharp now. Really easy to use. Definitely recommend it to anyone needing a cost effective sharpener.
Flat clean surfaces make it suck great and it makes knife sharpening so easy.
Much better than I expected!
The suction is very strong holding it in place only took two draws through the sharpener to get the blades of the knives RAZOR sharp again!
Very easy to use.
Sharpening my cooking knives make one feel that it is a safe product and does exactly what it says on the screen.Welldone
