We love games we’re we can play as a family and spend time together. That time slips away quicker than you can imagine. Dobble is a game we’re it has bought us closer. Competitive and we laugh. Over the last year or 2 we have purchased several varieties for our own little one and other around. There are official Dobble creation’s and some which are alternatives. All of which have the same purpose.

Not only has it bought personal family time which is priceless.

The purpose of the game also help’s a child hand and eye coordination.

I literally can’t recommend this game enough, it’s really easy to play, all ages can play it and it’s just so much fun. Lots of our friends and family have ended up buying it after playing ours, really gets your adrenaline going and we like it has it’s quite a quick game so never gets boring. Really simple, easy to take everywhere and the little tin it comes in is perfect for putting it in your bag. 100% recommend!

BUY IT NOW! So much fu

I absolutely love Dobble, it is quick fire fun that everyone can get involved in. It doesn’t need much explanation, is easy to set up, and has simple recognisable images that pretty much all ages can understand. I have played the Harry Potter version before which I didn’t enjoy as much as not everyone is a fan, so won’t know who characters are, or what certain items are, but the original Dobble is just fantastic. Its small so easily portable, and is a great ice breaker especially for children at a gathering where they might otherwise feel out of depth.

Once you get the hang of the game it is a fast and furious game.

    My whole family enjoyed it.

It can be frustrating when you go to put your card down when someone just beats you to it.

Each card is slightly different with different symbols all you have to do is to match a symbol on the last card played. It is very different to other card games because you don’t take turns you just get your card down and say for example ‘double tree’.

Dobble is such a versatile game. Pick a theme and it will work. This is a great use of the Gruffalo story and characters. Our four year old loves the quick action of spotting the match for her cards. A great way to use kid’s observational and memory skills. As an adult I find this game tricky but it works brilliantly with our four, seven and ten year olds. Superb.

This is the classic Dobble game, but with the added advantage of a spinning totem.

You can play all of the classic games you’ve already come to love, but in addition you have the option of using the totem. So you lose nothing in picking up the 360 version, but rather add another feature to what is already a great game.

There are a number of new symbols on these cards, and they are marked on the back ‘360’, but the game play is exactly the same as the traditional game. The only downside of this product is that you no longer have the handy ‘travel tin’. Rather this products is over packaged in a clear plastic tube, which means that it doesn’t really qualify as a ‘pocket’ game.

At first glance this game looks rubbish, with its stupid round cards and ugly drawings. But once you play the game and understand how it works, you’re in for a great time.

The premise is simple: there are 55 cards with multiple pictures on, and each card will have one image on it that matches one other card. There are several games you can play with these cards, but they all pretty much hinge on being the first person to spot a matching pair and yell out what it is, and then either get rid of that card or claim it according to the rules of that game. What makes this harder is that the matching symbols are all different sizes and in different orientations, making it inexplicably harder to spot them. It’s a game that can be played by children of almost any age, and can get pretty intense! What makes it more chaotic is that none of the drawings have an official name, so you’ll find people yelling things like “mouth! Lips! Lock thingy! Tree! Slime blob?”

All in all its a great game and won’t take up much space on your shelf

The product looks good and is well package, this is important to me as this is a gift. The tin in which the game is a good size both for travel and to play anywhere. comes in in a nice presentation box with clear window to front and back. This game was asked for as the person had played it with friends before.
    Hope this helps

A really fun alternative to snap, where every card matches and the first to find their matching symbol wins the card. The rules state to grab the card you’ve won but after one play one of the cards got bent so now we shout dobble if we see a match, say what matches and then take the card, no more bent card issues! Overall a surprisingly fun game for kids and adults, cute gruffalo theme, sturdy tin, hours of fun.

This is such a clever little card game. It is simply about matching two of the same symbols on different cards, so it is really easy to play, but lots of fun. There are mini games to play, so there is lots of variation using the same pack of cards, and because they are mini games, a single game doesn’t take very long which is great. I have a 7 and an 8 year old, and they love to play Dobble and they each have their favourite mini game that they like to play. They can play the game with just the two of them, or if we play as a family, the kids can happily beat the adults without the adults letting them win. This is one of our firm favourite card games to play and will also come on holiday with us. Fully recommend this.

Brilliant game! Had never played this before but brought it for my HP obsessed 8 year old. We love family games but sometimes the set us is a little tedious and her younger sister gets frustrated if she can’t play properly. This game works on matching pictures and is our new favourite game we love it. Comes in a great tin thats small enough to slip in a handbag or backpack to take out and about! Honestly cannot recommend enough.

Fantastic game for the whole family and it comes in a metal tin for storage. Hours and hours of fun, easy to learn and play.

The game is about matching picture on your card to the one placed on the table. The aim is to get rid of all your cards, you need to be quick.

We took it on holiday as you don’t need much room for it, we played at the airport and on the plane. Suitable for any age.
Once you’re familiar with this one, there are other versions of the same game i.e. Harry Potter or underwater theme. I do recommend 100%.

Dobble is a nice easy game for all the family. What I particularly love about it is there are different ways to play. This means everyone gets a chance of winning as some games are easier for some players than others. These versions are just as fun as others we’ve played and another reason to love it – it’s so small to store in the cupboard! A little tip… if you want it to be more robust and kept cleaner then laminate the cards.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersDobble is such a fun game. It’s a cross between Snap and Pairs, so it’s simple to explain and fast for everyone to pick up. Rounds are quick so you can play for 5 minutes or hours at a time. There are several different versions to play so you can switch to different rounds once you’ve got the basic concept. It’s fun for all ages, and extra fun with multiple languages playing. If your backpacking, I highly recommend Dobble.

For the HP version of Dobble, you’d need to have a good knowledge of the characters and elements to play it (i.e. this game is not suitable for Muggles). The pictures are great and I can’t wait to play with fellow Potterheads!

So much fun, not suitable for Muggles

This is a brilliant family game! We are a family of 5 and this is great fun the kids can play on there own they are all under the age of 9, but it’s an absolutely great family game aswell! My kids like to take it to their grandparents house at the weekends to and they also enjoy playing. It comes with a handy storage tin which is good storage then none of the cards get lost or misplaced. I personally think it is priced highly, but we have both the original and Harry Potter version, so I would say it is worth every penny.

I think this is the third time I’ve bought this as it always goes missing when I show it to people….

Great, quick and simple card game to thwap out at parties or predrinks or just when people need to cheer up.

Its essentially a different take on snap where there’s every card shares one picture with the other cards and if you see the picture on yours before other people you shout it out and put it down. Comes with a little instruction manual with other ways you can mix up the game.

It comes in a nice tin that you can easily travel with without it breaking like the cardboard boxes that other cards come in.

We had great fun on Christmas Day with Dobble (which we’d first found in an AirBNB abroad) It’s such a fun, quick, exasperatingly simple game which anyone can play. I was worried my old teens would chuck it in the bin after Christmas, but no, it’s come out regularly after dinner, and that’s pretty impressive for a simple card game in this day and age! And there are different rules you can play by, and occasionally we’ve even taken to calling out the names of the objects in different languages for practise…. like most simple ideas, brilliant. Why didn’t I think of that? And it’s a lot less arguing and stress than once a year Monopoly!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought for Christmas for my Harry Potter mad 7 year old daughter. We’ve played it endlessly. We’re addicted. The more we’ve played the more we’ve got the character names right – as they’re cartoon drawings of items and characters we shouted “that one” at first, which didn’t work as well, but then figured out who and what they all are and it’s got better and better. Quick wits and good eyes, bet it’s great for her young brain. She’s quite competitive with it, had to keep playing until she “won”. I’m fairly convinced that occasionally there are cards with no matches, but we’ve just moved on and not double checked. So long as one of us have found a match…..

We love games, this is one of three we’ve got this Christmas and the only one we could easily play without figuring out lots of tricky rules. Nice filler for a few spare minutes and would be great for a train journey.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy mind is blown. Such a simple little game involving matching. Boiled down to its basic premise, you need to try and spot which item on your card matches an item on another card. There will always be one item that matches. This is the part that makes my head spin! No idea how they manage to ensure there’s always one matching item, regardless of which 2 cards you pick up. Something to do with algorithms and a sprinkle of magic. There are several game variants to keep things interesting and the cards come in a very handy small tin so it’s fab for travelling, taking to the pub to keep the children entertained during Sunday lunch, or playing at home.

We have a number of the Dobble games but was looking for something for the poolside while on a recent holiday to Majorca.

The game is beautiful in its simplicity. I’ve been playing it with both my children from the age of two respectively. There’s a couple of different ways to play to keep it a bit different now & again.

This particular version now resides in my “Dad bag” and has seen more use beyond the holiday – we’ve used it in restaurants while waiting for meals or on the train. It’s compact, plastic-y for wipe clean, colourful and fun.

Golden Review Award: 912 From Our UsersBought this for my wife as she likes basic games like UNO and is competitive as hell. To my horror she also destroys me almost every time we play. My eyesight isn’t the best but when she’s shouting out the names of the objects on the cards as she slams them down, it’s like I’m blinded. The cards become a blur and I start to imply she’s cheating as she can’t possiblly be faster at matching up two snowmen than I am. The more she speaks the more my brain freezes and I wonder whether the years of marriage have somehow programmed my brain to shutdown. Maybe I’m a walkover. Maybe I give up to easy. Maybe my own competitiveness consumes me like a straight jacket. All I know is, there will be many more defeats to come as I stubbornly expose myself to a relentless wave of igloo’s ladybugs and treble clefts that mock me as I stare them straight in the face. If you back yourself and want to destroy your partners life you should definitely get this game.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI really enjoyed playing this game. It didn’t keep my 10 year old away from Fortnite very long but we had fun working through the different games. You get a booklet with different ways to play which means it doesn’t get too dull. It’s very clever because actually even though all symbols are on all cards because of the mix and sizing it’s really hard to find them under pressure. May get this out at Christmas time to play with the family.

    A fantastic rapid card game.
Would be enjoyed by 4 to 104 yr olds
A jumble of 8 out of a possible 50 symbols on cards, each card has only one match to any other card in the deck, your task is to find your matching symbol before your opponents beat you to it.
Loud, frantic, hilarious, frustrating and GREAT FUN.
All my grandchildren and adults love this game, takes a couple of minutes for each round so little ones never get bored by having to wait their turn, everyone plays simultaneously.
I also do solo rounds against a timer to keep my reactions and brain active.
Would, and have recommended this game to many.
Buy this game, you won’t be disappointed.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWE LOVE DOBBLE!!!! It has become our favourite for for taking with us out and about. We have played at the dentist, at the sports centre, at the car garage, at the motorway services……the list goes on and on. its so good for just filling in that 10 minute gap where the kids are beginning to get restless. Nice and small to easily pop in a bag, if I havent got it with me I often regret it. Love all the different ways to play it, means you can always mix it up, which stops it from getting boring. We’ve created a few random games of our own too. Every household should own Dobble!!!

Golden Review Award: 178 From Our UsersWhat a brilliant and perfect game! This is a visual speed matching game. Things I love about this game:
    1. We found the children aged 5 and 7 were equally as good as the adults for this game, so we didn’t need to let them win. They genuinely won against us several times.
    2. The game is very fast to learn so anyone can join in instantly and be well matched against more experienced players.
    3. There are five variations on how to play which to learn if you want some variation.
    4. It’s compact and will easily fit in a bag to take out as a game for children at a restaurant.
    5. I love playing it as an adult and might be fun as a quick easy pub game. We laughed a lot while playing too.
    6. It’s fast (like a game of snap) and addictive. You’ll want to play more than once.
    7. Every player can play at the same time, no waiting for your next turn. Keeps it engaging and fun. (Yes, you can always play every card, it’s just a case of being fast enough to spot the match)
    8. If you lose a card, you can still play. The game does not rely on all cards supplied, in fact you could put two packs together too.

Quick and easy to play with any number of people and suits a good range of ages. It’s a nice neat little game which doesn’t take up too much room when storing it and does not need much room to play which is really nice compared to some board games.

Golden Review Award: 51 From Our UsersAt first sight this game doesn’t come across as that amazing. Once you play it a little though, you soon realise its addictive and frantic nature. My kids (8&6) love it and play it for hours. As with most games that are brilliant, its stupidly simple and you’ll be kicking yourself for not thinking of it yourself.

Hours of fun and the tin make it a great travel game too.

Love it, and will be back for some of the other variants

Golden Review Award: 50 From Our UsersAfter trying the adult version with my 3 year old granddaughter, I decided to buy the kids version. We have had hours of fun with this simpler game, but she still enjoys the adult game when we visit auntie.
On balance I think I would just buy the adult version, it is a slower game and I have to pretend not to have seen the match so she wins (I’m not competitive, she is), but it develops her observation skills and we have fun.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersOn my advice after reading the reviews, Grandma bought this for our 5 year old twins for Christmas. They were intrigued when they opened it as they didn’t know what it was, but once we read the rules and started playing they were hooked. There are different games which can be played, so it is not a “one-trick pony” type of gift, and we found that the odds were quite evenly matched between kids, parents and grandparents when we played. Sometimes the little people would spot the match first, and sometimes they could not see it for looking! It’s a very clever concept and we really enjoy playing it. It is also a small sized game which is very portable. We will definitely be taking it on our family holiday this year!

There are 5 different games to play, but most are based on matching the symbols on the cards as quick as you can.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersThis is such a brilliantly simple game, stored in its own little tin so you can take it anywhere. The thing we like about it as a family is that we can all play (ages ranging from 8 to 47) and age doesn’t seem to be an advantage, in fact quite the opposite! I think bright agile young minds find it easier sometimes to spot the matching symbols. The object of all the games with Dobble is to match a symbol on two cards; there will always be a matching symbol on each pair of cards, although sometimes the sizes will differ which seems to make it incredibly difficult to spot them, especially under pressure when you are trying to spot it before someone else! There is the added pressure of having to name the item you have identified as a match (for example the purple hand shaped thing on the tin with one eye is a ‘Dobble’) before you can swipe the card (or get rid of the card, depending on which game you are playing). The game is fast paced, and always results in lots of hilarity and frustration. It is the best card game for families that we have come across. Thoroughly recommended.

Golden Review Award: 98 From Our UsersSuch an amazing game! So addictive to play. Great game for all the family , very competitive. Really easy and lots of fun, if a bit frustrating when you can’t see a match! Children and adults can play together and there are a few different versions of the game. This looks like a children’s game, and I suppose it is. But play this with a load of adults and its even better! Very simple, match the pictures and put down a card. Get rid of all of yours to win. But you’ll quickly find it’s not as easy as it sounds and you’ll get more and more frustrated each round you play.

The premise is simple: find a matching image on another of the cards. They are the same colour and design but they may vary in size and their position on the card. Once you have found it you yell it out and place your card on the middle pile. Then everyone starts looking for a matching picture from their pile that matches a picture on the card in the middle. It is fast paced and funny and loads of fun. It is actually trickier than you think to match the pictures because sometimes you can’t see it at all. But every card has one matching picture with every other card. There are variations on the rules you can play with hot potato being a favourite. Dobble now goes everywhere. Holidays, sleepovers days out and its a small package so easy to fit anywhere. Excellent game for all ages.

    Excellent game

Golden Review Award: 98 From Our UsersSuch an amazing game! So addictive to play. Great game for all the family , very competitive. Really easy and lots of fun, if a bit frustrating when you can’t see a match! Children and adults can play together and there are a few different versions of the game.
