- What is digital signal ?
The digital signal is much simpler than analog signal, it is a series of discrete pulses，representing 0’s and 1’s.
Any interference is virtually eliminated once the receiver discerns whether a “0” or a “1” was transmitted.
- Installation Steps:
1. Find a suitable place and fix the monitor on windshield or dashboard as you like.
2. Install the reverse camera by connecting the red wire to the reversing light and black wire to ground (metal part on the car).
3. Connect the monitor to the car charger and done!

Was sceptical
Fitted into lwb Renault trafic, and I was initially sceptical about it, but I took 1.5 hrs and routed power cables neatly for the monitor and rear camera, and worked first time, just a few extra minutes to angle camera for good view. Well made as well, really good.

Camera works well, good quality picture day & night but not as wide-screen view as factory fitted camera in my car. Picture on screen is good, but in hindsight wish I’d gine for a bigger screen. Overall works well, makes reversing much easier, good value for money

Very little knowledge is needed to fit this camera, also visit YouTube and it will be fitted in minutes.
Only negative is the stalk is quite short on the monitor otherwise great product for the money

Screens are clear husband fitted them quickly. After 6 months the screen wouldn’t connect on one so after trying their suggestions to remedy they quickly sent a replacement and contacted us afterwards to make sure everything was ok. Would recommend

Superb parking camera
As long as you can locate the reversing light power supply cable, its a relative easy install. Connects straight away once the reversing light is on. Camera picture clarity is brilliant night or day. I can’t fault it.

Good quality reversing camera
Easy to install and pair yourself. Good strong fixings. You just need to know which one is the positive when you connect it up to your reversing light. Allow a bit of time to run the wires through your bodywork .

I did some homework before buying this camera for my van. I am already quite handy with my hands. Instructions are straight forward. Everything you need is in the box. All in all , took me about an hour for installation. Only because I needed to remove door panels and rear light.
In my opinion well worth the money. Picture is nice and clear. So I am well happy.

I have had the camera fitted for almost two years and am absolutely delighted with the actual camera plus the ease of support in the event of any queries. My camera was replaced without question when a few months old and the replacement arrived within days.
More recently I decided to dispense with the plug in power socket / cigarette lighter fitment and take my power from an ignition live terminal in the fuse box. My local garage stated that I would need a 5volt voltage reducer to be installed so I contacted the seller asking for confirmation. Within 24 hours I received a reply confirming that a reducer was not necessary plus advice for wiring it to the fuse box.
Excellent service, great value product which is standing the test of time and it is good to know that the suppier will deal promptly with queries long after the warranty has expired.

Wire was too short for my va
Wire from camera was too short for my van. Had to tape it diagonally across inner boot window for it to reach. Informed seller who acknowledged but offered no solution. Camera is actually good. Make sure you research how you’re going to fit it before you buy as installation instructions are basic.

Better than I hoped for it’s great and so easy to fit. If You can cut off the car charger plug, then you will see a red wire and a black wire, connect the red wire to an accessory power fuse and the black to the ground. In this way, the monitor will only consume power when you’re driving. Before you cut off the car charger, please check if there is a suitable accessory power fuse to connect to the red wire.
I also sent power via a switch back to the camera so I can turn it on manual

Ease of installation depends on the vehicle, I’ve got a new Peugeot Boxer, I had to solder the camera live wire to the reversing light circuit, apart from that fairly straight forward.

This unit is best wired to the side light wiring circuit (number plate light) instead of the reversing lamp which only turns the camera on when reversing. Most vehicles nowdays drive with side lights on so it really becomes a rear view mirro

Easy to set up IF PREPARED
The camera isn’t too difficult to set up due to wireless interaction between camera and system. Setup is also simple if you have the right system. However getting the camera wiring to the reverse light without penetrating the cars exterior is very difficult. My suggestion is practise all the links with an old wire before ordering

The positives … picture quality is ok for its intended purpose and connection is almost instant when the car is placed into reverse. Fitting is very straightforward although the supplied crocodile clips are not the best way to spice into the live reverse wire. I chose terminal blocks as there is little chance of the wire completely breaking. Accuracy is very good but take your time positioning the camera correctly. Initially it feels odd trying to park looking at the screen as it feels more natural to look over your shoulder however a combination of both is pretty foolproof and it is an invaluable aid. Although the camera does not have any night vision the camera manages to still supply a viewable picture.
Negatives … Although quite good it is overpriced even after I got a 14 discount, the screen is extremely lightweight and feels quite cheap, I have a similar sized screen which I use in a flight sim which only cost 30 and the case is metal and feels substantial. Unfortunately the wifi won’t connect to the Vox camera. The camera that is included is quite big as for its weatherproofing well time will tell. In hind site I wish I had gone down a different route with a standalone camera and one of my sim screens. In my opinion based on my findings 45 to 65 would be a fair price so if you can purchase at a lower price then I would have no hesitation in recommending. But at the listed price I don’t think it is worth it however opinions are subjective.

As with all cameras it gets wet in the rain then the picture is blurred and distorted. It is good at night and in low light levels. Headlights are not as problematic as the sun for some reason. This is the second camera I’ve bought as the first one failed after 14 months. Just outside the warranty period. I’m hoping that I was just unlucky and the second system will last longer.

I have been using this reversing camera for a couple of weeks now and so far so good. This camera is brilliant! It’s easy to use. Parking at home on the street is a nightmare until I got this camera. It is now easy for me to park on a parallel parking because I can see clearly behind me.
You can also change the size of the guidelines depending on your vehicle which is excellent.The image on the screen is clear and superb quality my only gripe is using in a poorly lit area. The image is a bit grainy due to the fact that there’s no infrared capabilities. But over all I’m very pleased with it and I highly recommend it.

Admittedly I had to make a bracket to fit the camera where I wanted it but the rest of the installation was so simple I had it all done in a couple of hours. I’ve put the camera transmitter behind the rear door panel so no wiring at all can be seen. I’m lucky in that my van has a 12V accessory socket in the back. As long as the camera is powered then the monitor comes on automatically. The monitor is extremely clear and there’s no wireless lag or loss of picture quality. The system arrived on time and is packaged beautifully. Definitely one to get if you’re in the market!

Reasonable Priced reversing Camera
This camera and display unit were a very handy addition to my car as it was a long vehicle with poor rear visibility. I can say that the fitting of the monitor was a doddle which unfortunately was not the case for the rear camers. This is because you have to wire one of the cables to the reversing light. I managed but probably better done by an expert for safety. I like a challenge and also like fiddling with cars. Once fitted it really was a great piece of kit which worked really well assisting with reversing issues easily providing a nice clear picture. I also had an issue with the rear camera when I removed it to reinstall on another car. The issue was sorted by LILY from Auto-Vox the first port of call for customer service. She happily replaced the unit without any hassle. Many thanks again LILY. All in all I can sincerely recommend AUTO – VOX products. They are excellent value for money well made with quality materials and have a very, very good customer relations/support team in LILY.

Not easy to fit because of wires but good quality camera does the job

I had an old analogue wireless reversing camera on my Moho.. and to say it did not work as it should is an understatement… so I decided to but this Auto Vox digital camera kit.. and its brilliant.. the clarity of vision is superb.. and the field of vision being so wide i can see both sides on my Moho clearly. I mounted in a small plastic box i found ( cut a square out for the camera to see out of … and it stops people from perhaps messing about with the camera angle ) I used to old hole in the Moho panel and have currently wired it into the standard 12v supply… As i wished to see how it worked when i was driving, not just reversing… Marvelous is my view.. It has a short focus,.. so things following you from about 50 metres back look to be in the far distance, but the guide lines when reversing work superbly…… I do intend to not follow the instructions and wire it into just the reversing light . but to wire it into the moho’s rear light cluster, so If i want it on at any time.. I just have to turn my lights on…and the camera is not on all the time…. I know it will always be on when driving in winter time.. but as we only use the motorhome occasionally during this time I can live with that aspect, and security cameras are on 24 hrs a day anyway.. so should work fine. highly recommended in fact I need another one for my car now.. !!!

A multimeter to identify reverse light positive cable

Screen in the drivers cabin could be a touch larger other than that it works perfectly well
The gel sucker has losts its suction having been in the sun for a few days, not sure how to refix yet.

L’installation sur mon Zafira a t rapide, le fonctionnement parfait.
J’ai eu un seul soucis avec l’cran il y a un peu plus de 15 jours. J’ai contact le vendeur qui m’a rpondu moins de 2 jours plus tard et une semaine aprs, j’ai reu un kit complet pour compenser, au lieu de l’cran seul car cela aurait pris entre 30 et 40 jours vu la situation actuelle. Reasonably easy to fit, does the job well
Being used to having an OEM reversing camera the getting a car without one is frustrating so I bought this to fit to the rear of my BMW 2 series. I did not want to run cabling from the back of the car to the screen so it was important to fit a wi-fi type. There are still cables to run from the camera to the transmitter, from the reversing light wire and to power the screen from the 12v socket. You need a bit of DIY skills to feed the wire and to connect to the correct wire in the rear lamp cluster but once installed the signal is strong from the transmitter to the screen. It works perfectly. You can adjust the width of the guidelines on the screen. You need to be aware that the guidelines are fixed so you don’t see the projected direction when you are turning in an arc. Other than that it is perfect for the intended use and great value for money

My Mazda 6 estae has blacked out windows so I cant see to reverse. This prouct id brilliant. After getting used to it I feel I cannot do with out it. Its easy to fix . I just watched Y Tube a few times and hey presto it works. Took me two hours to fit. Most of the time wqas spent getting the plastice covering on and off the boot lid.

I was a little surprised by the high quality of the video from such a small camera. This is an excellent product and deserves every one of the 5star rating.
Did not use this as a reversing camera but as an aid to my garage parking. Common problem, car too big for garage,
Have connected camera to 12v transformer powered from a PIR unit. Camera sits in a strategic position in the garage, monitor mounted on car dash. PIR activated by movement of electric garage door. Signal from camera picked up instantly, about 5 metres from garage entrance. Can navigate car into garage with millimetre precision.
The option of turning off the reversing grid guidelines has been implemented thus giving a real time, uninterrupted view of the situation.

Waist of time picture quality poor with interference lines. Didn’t work properly work intermittently so could not guarantee would come on when need. Sent back and had a refund. Another waist of time and pointless exercise.
An update to my previous review where a gave 1 star I was contacted by the Auto Vox customer service who wanted to help due to the issues I had. They said they thought the previous camera system was faulty and wanted to send me a replacement to try which I received and tried and so far it is working ok.
The customer service was 5 star but I have only given an overall 4 star due to it is early days still so haven’t used it enough to see if it remains working ok.

his was a much better idea than my last one. in my 1st car, I installed a hardwired reversing camera which worked fine but it took so long to feed the wire from the back of the car to the front as one of the cables needed to be feed for the video. for my other car, I thought I would install this and wow it didn’t take a 10th of the time. The rear side you just need to find the positive of the reversing light and then ground the other side which you can use another ground cable or find a good bolt that has a good ground to it. On the front side it simply plugs into your 12v socket via usb. I am extremely happy with the quality of this, it has the same quality as a high branded item (cant name companies) but out of others I have seen and my friends have bought this hands down beats them all.
