Great camera.
The Auto-Vox CS-2 was really easy to fit, took about twenty minutes to set up. My reverse parking is much easier now. Well worth the money.

Decent quality and simple to fit.
I wouldn’t rave about it, but it’s better than nothing.
Obviously no audio and it does magnifiy quite a bit, which sometimes leads to thinking you are closer than you are.
Mounting position is important for grid lines to work.

Great camera
Very happy with my camera purchase! There is a slight delay about 3-5 seconds but not overly bothered. The customer service is absolutely great,
I had a slight issue with the suction cup, it had lost its stickiness/suction after about 5 months. I was put in contact with Joanne and she arranged for a new improved suction to be sent out to me special delivery and it’s solved the problem! The picture quality is great and the viewing screen is a generous size too.

Franchement bien , en complément d'un radar de recul
Mont sur une voiture faible visibilit arrire , a change tout .
Attention , ce n’est pas quivalant une camra de recul intgre car sans calculateur , pas d’indication du braquage lors de la manuvre, les lignes reste droites , mais on s’en doute bien en l’achetant !
Personnellement , c’est un complment de rtroviseur, l’affichage est permanent : j’ai coll la camra sous le par-choc arrire , son alimentation se fait sur la prise allume cigare du coffre.
Donc sans intervention de garagiste ni dmontage, elle me permet de voir les plots bas , trottoir et d’avoir une bonne vue d’ensemble de l’arrire en conduisant en marche avant comme arrire .
Pour le prix et la simplicit de l’installation , la prestation est vraiment intressante .
La nuit , l’image est comprhensible mais de basse qualit surtout s’il y a des feux d’un autre vhicule

Great quality
The Auto-Vox CS2 Reversing Camera only took 20 minutes to fit and i am no mechanic.With a little bit of research to locate the 2 wires you need for reversing signal.
Once this is done the rest is childs play just plug it in and your ready to go.Camera quality is excellent even in the dark.
The camera has made reversing so much easier and as for value i dont think you can get better.
I would highly recommend good value excellent quality.

Easy to install once you have the right tools.
I just installed an Auto Vox CS2 camera on the rear licence plate of my 2017 ford transit connect. I first attached the camera to the licence plate, then I removed the licence plate light, then I used a file to make the corner of the light opening slightly bigger to accommodate the camera cable, ran the camera cable through, then reinstalled the licence plate light. (I think that I will put some silicone around this light now just to make sure to keep water out)….I then removed the left rear lighting unit (4 screws) to get at the reverse light. All of the wires into the rear lighting unit were black, no colours at all. So I used a multimeter to find out which wire running to the reverse light was ground and which was 12v DC. …..I then ran the camera cable back through the door and into the van. I then had to run the camera cable (black and red wires) out through the rubber seal into the rear lighting unit. I had to drill a tiny hole in the rubber seal to do this. Once I had the red and black camera cables ran as far as the reversing light I attached the red camera wire to the 12v wire going into the reversing light, I then attached the black camera wire to the ground wire going into the reversing light. The Auto Vox CS2 provides you with 2 little wire taps for connecting the wires. With a second person and all the tools ready to go it took about half an hour. But It took me a lot of time online to figure all this out before hand, so I hope this can be of help to anyone trying to do this in the future. P.s. camera works just great. I just installed today so have no idea how it will work out long term. Giving 5 stars as it was easy to install and seems to work fine. Thanks

Seldom am I so impressed with a relatively inexpensive bit of kit. The installation was very straightforward, the connection between screen and camera was instant and the picture quality great. Very high commendation from me.

Installata sul mio camper di 7 metri e ho una buona visuale posteriore . Installata sotto targa con alimentazione presa da retromarcia, provata anche di sera in parcheggio in campeggio e ha una buon contrasto di immagine. Ovvio per parcheggiare questa e’ solo di aiuto, una sicurezza in piu’, visto che con il camper dietro no vedi una mazza.

Used in my carava
I wired this into the sidelights of my caravan, and mounted it to the back. I fed the electronics up through an existing hole so that the aerial had a decent straight line to the car.

In total, its transmitting about 11m. Works really well, and I know when its safe to change lane. Great also for seeing behind when reversing.

For the price perfect item and superb picture.
This camera is brilliant, I purchased it for the rear of my caravan after nearly hitting a small trailer parked behind me. The time to fit it was around 50mins with a minimum of fuss, just one hole drilled for a cable and removal of number plate to fix camera plate behind it, instructions very good and very good picture, would certainly recommend.

Clear video and easy to install
I wanted to install a rear camera on my car to make it easy when reversing . It’s easy to buy one but when it comes to installing it your find out that’s it’s not DIY . My particular reason to buy this one was because its wireless . Just connect the camera to the rear car reg and power it from the reverse light . Plug the monitor to the DC supply in the front console and that’s all to install . The picture quality is vivid in both day and night and really helps while driving .
If you don’t have one installed by default this is highly recommended .

So i installed this as soon as it arrived on my wife’s car and she is loving, before this there were a few incidents of her bumping her rear bumper into low level post which are impossible to see without the camera.

The setup was so simple I didn’t need to use the instructions, the hardest part was routing the wiring around the inside of the boot lid. I took the number plate off drilled a hole just big enough to get the cabling through and popped a little silicone over the hole just to try stop any water entering the bootlid.

Connecting the camera to the reverse lamp was easy using the supplied joing clips, I personally used a multimeter just ensure I had the correct polarity for the power and ground to connect to.

All the cabling is hidden in the back and I just need to hide the screens excess cable now but it works great in both dark and light conditions. Pop the car into reverse and the camera and screen come on, take the car out of reverse and I turns off. No signal interference or other issues to report, It just works!

Great quality, easy to use and the setup is super simple.

Got this for my son as his car doesn’t have sensors or anything. He got it installed by someone so can’t comment on how easy it is to install yourself. The picture quality is great and I feel much more at ease. A great product, thank you.

I purchased this reversing camera after a different one I bought was faulty and had to be returned for a refund.
This Auto Vox CS2 ls very easy to fit and use. As I have only just fitted it I cannot comment on night vision yet as I have not been out at night.

Was quoted 500 to have sensors put on the back of my vxr by Vauxhall dealership. So I found this camera and asked a friend to install for 30. The picture is really good quality and now I see everything
The only negative was that the suction cup kept coming off the windscreen. I cleaned it with alcohol and I bought Suction cup flat sticker plates zoso from eBay and it sticks like glue

Auto vox wireless reversing camera.
Purchased this reversing camera in December extremely easy to fit and the wireless work perfectly, if you want a reversing camera with out the hassle of fitting wires from one end of the car/van to another this is the one. Customer service is 100% perfect in every way. (Will.)

Clear colour picture
Not too bad to install, it could of done with a longer camera cable as I had to thread it through the rear corner of my van and make a connection at the door grommet point.

Is it any good?
Quite surprised by this – easy to fit (you probably need a multi meter to get the correct wires at the lights). But apart from that it was plug and go. Nice picture – the guide lines are fine, but I don’t see the need for them, so turn them off.

Works great.
This is my first reversing camera, I had ultrasonic sensors on my previous car. The sensors are convenient, but they do get confused sometimes with strange obstacles, so the idea of the camera is that you can see for yourself what’s going on.
I am not sure what lever of DIY you need to be to install the camera by yourself, you’d basically (well, at least in the case of a Focus) need to fit the camera behind the number plate (the easiest part), then drill above it to get the cable running inside to the top & side to find the reversing light assembly. I am at a very basic DIY level, so I had a professional do the work. On my Focus I could not mount the camera at the center of the plate, as that would interfere with the boot handle (the camera isn’t what I would call “tiny”), so it went a bit to the side (doesn’t seem to make a big difference).
But the result is great, once you put on reverse, the (factory paired) monitor wakes up and shows you the camera view. Once you leave reverse, the monitor sleeps. The view itself is very clear in the day, without even using the brightness/contrast controls it has available (also mirroring option). At night, it is obviously less clear – there is no IR, it relies on its low light sensitivity and your reverse light, but it is still fine for avoiding objects.
The display holder is a “sticky” suction cup so It probably holds in some places where a plain suction cup would not.
I don’t see any issues so far, you get brightness/contrast. If it continues to work as it does now, it will have been a great buy.

Really happy with it!
I had this for a few days now and I must say that I absolutely love it. I had a wired similar camera on my old car but this new wireless one is so much better from every aspect. First of all it’s very easy to install, I mean I had a quick look over the manual and it was that easy. I started by setting up the screen on the dash which is very easy due to the really solid sucker, then I plugged the power in and hid the cable . After that I places the camera on the back, using the 3m sticker I placed it right behind the number plate leaving only the small camera body ok show. I then pulled the cable through the number plate light hole and connected it inside on the reversing light so it will only switch on when engaging the reverse gear. After doing all of this you will need to paid the camera with the monitor and you can do this by hitting pair on the screen. You can also adjust the brightness and the guiding lines on the monitor. All in one this reversing camera is brilliant and such a great help! Really happy with my purchase
