Amazing sound quality for the size, easy to pair, bought for my elderly father, and once explained how it worked it was a breeze, a little over priced? Maybe but it does include the bluetooth unit for TV which has zero..and I mean zero lag. Tiny charging connector port area so could be a bit fiddly for poor sighted, arthritic,or sausage fingers souls.

First I got a lemon, but customer service was amazing and helped me right away ! It’s very easy to install , sometimes i need to turn it on /off few times to work! But in general sound quality is good, battery lasts for a long time !
I bought a number of these as gifts for people some who have hearing difficulty and another who stays up all night.
The verdict is these are AMAZING – the people who have the hearing difficulty can now hear the TV with out it sounding like stadium concert and the other can stay up all night watching TV well the rest of the people in the hose can sleep in peace. This really is something everyone should have 🙂

Trs simple pour l’installation, l’adapteur bluetooth utilise un port usb pour l’alimentation electrique, en utilisant un port usb de la tv, pas besoin d’allumer ou d’teindre l’adapteur, (il s’allume et s’teint avec la TV). La connection est rapide avec les couteurs en appuyant 3 secondes sur le bouton d’alimentation. La seule chose que je peux dire de ngatif sont les couteurs, on doit les ajuster pour avoir un bon son, les oreillettes d’extra des couteurs pour les oreilles sont trs efficaces et s’installe correctement dans le creux des oreilles afin d’amliorer le son. Je le recommande!
At last a headset that is the perfect sound for me. Because of my hearing loss I watch tv with headphones. You can’t make sound adjustments when using headphones. I like less bass and more treble so the words are sharp and not muffled. The lip sync is terrific, no delay at all.

A review of “Avantree HT4186 Wireless Headphones Earbuds for TV Watching, Neckband Earphones Hearing Set w/Bluetooth Transmitter”.
Summary. Dangly earbuds are uncomfortable, obsolete, and unsuitable for exercise.
My Use Case. My hearing comes and goes. Over the past few years it has mostly been going. (But at the moment it’s come back, so I have some confidence in the following sound quality judgments.) Often the TV is either too quiet for me or too loud for my wife. A Coniler hearing aid (available on Amazon) has helped me a lot, but hearing aids are designed for person-person interaction. For music and TV, wireless bluetooth earbuds are definitely the way to go. But when my wife listens to the TV’s speaker and my bluetooth lags by 250 milliseconds, it comes across as a loud echo that completely garbles the message. Gamers and musicians also have a problem with a 250 ms latency; consider that a good pianist can easily play 10 notes withing 250 ms. So if you are not a gamer or a musician, and if there is no speaker in your use case, for example if you and your spouse want to simultaneously listen to TV on bluetooth headsets, you won’t have an echo. In this case you can stop reading here and go to Note 1 at the end of this review.
In my use case, you will find that almost every bluetooth product description and review on Amazon claims the product is “low latency”, but musicians, gamers, and I need a faster codec, Qualcomm’s “AptX Low Latency” (abbreviated “AptX LL”). In two weeks of searching on Amazon, I found only a handful of wireless earbuds that support the AptX LL codec. (Beware: vanilla “AptX” is *not* Low Latency; “AptX HD” is *not* Low Latency; and “low latency AptX” is not “AptX Low Latency”.)
After being initially misled to some useless “low latency” products, I was led to this Avantree combo which has a lot of satisifed verified buyers on Amazon. I was relieved to see that it did eliminate the echo and that it was very easy to set up. Unfortunately, I had a real problem with the earbuds. I tried to live with them because the web had also misled me to believe that AptX LL “required” an “external antenna”. Perhaps the “neckband” of the earbuds is that “external antenna”? Try though I did to like these earbuds, the controls dangling from my ear pulled the right (or sometimes the left) earbud, out of my ear whenever I reclined or turned my head or when my wife and I played Wii Just Dance. (Don’t laugh; it’s good Covid exercise for old people and was a motivating reason to get AptX LL buds.)
Eventually I was driven back to Amazon to search for different AptX LL earbuds, eventually, after another 5 days of searching, I bought the Optoma NuForce BE Free8 Truly Wireless Premium wireless AptX LL earbuds. These do deliver echo-free AptX-LL sound, although they have a kludgy user interface.
Recommendations
At this writing, while the NuForce earbuds do deliver echo-free AptX LL sound, they are an early model with inadequate controls and users report other problems with them. You can read my review on Amazon for my evaluation. So against this iffy competition, if you can tolerate the dangly “neckband earbuds”, this Avantree combo warrants serious consideration.
Details on this Avantree Combo. (I use Also Sprach Zarathustra to compare sound quality across earbuds. (For those who came in late, it is the opening soundtrack 2001: A Space Odyssey.) On my preferred music earbuds by Rumixi (sadly not AptX LL) the opening double low C’s aren’t thunderous, but they’re definitely THERE.)

I had to return the combo, but the Avantree transmitter was the highlight of this combo. I replaced it with the positively-reviewed Avantree Oasis Long Range Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver which gives me much greater freedom of movement.
Note 1. For one person listening, as on a smartphone, only unusual use cases will benefit from AptX LL.
For dual-link use you might want to look at my Amazon review of the Avantree HT4186 Wireless Headphones Neckband Earbuds for TV w/Bluetooth Transmitter. In dual-link mode, it is recommended that the dual receivers be identical makes and/or models.
Some dual-link transmitters do not dual-link in AptX LL. This may be OK in that if you can’t hear the other earbuds, then you won’t have an echo. However, if you are dual-linking earbuds with a bluetooth speaker, you will want both channels to be AptX LL. Even still, the differing circuitry peripheral to the AptX LL codec could theoretically introduce lags and possibly echoes.
So easy to set up. Sound quality excellent. I have tried others more expensive and didn’t get the quality and cost of this transmitter and ear buds. Highly recommended.
Very easy to set up, just plugged the base unit into the television and they worked straight away. Good sound quality. No noticeable lag, so lips are on sync. It comes with a choice of earbuds so it was no problem getting a good fit. All together very happy with this headset. The one small criticism is that the volume control that’s on the wire to the earpiece can be little fiddly, but that’s not really an issue.
Instant connection even for a technophobe marvellous
I’m of an age when the wife doesn’t want to be kept awake and these serve this purpose
I’m happy with this purchase. I no longer have to worry about disturbing neighbors, or causing their dogs to bark if a movie I’m watching has a barking dog or other loud sounds. With my remote control volume turned to zero, or muted, I hear absolutely nothing until I wear the earbuds. And to turn them on, I simply press the middle symbol (power symbol) on the earbud cord for 3 seconds, until an automated voice says I’m hooked up.
On my Samsung LED Smart TV, series 4500, which is about 4 years old, I can use the earbuds and regular TV speakers at the same time! Meaning, if my hard-of-hearing friend watches something with me, she can use the earbuds and turn up the sound, while I watch with normal volume.
I also like that the controls are on the right earbud cord. It’s easy to control the volume by touch because + and – are embossed on the control panel and easy to tell apart by feel. The power symbol is between them.
Set-up was easy. I watched a YouTube video that was recommended by the company, so, no problems. I also think the magnet on the back of both earbuds is a nice feature. If I take the earbuds out but I’m still wearing the set around my neck, they don’t tangle! The magnet draws them together neatly, which is nice during storage, as well. No tangles ever!
They also have a rubber hook in each earbud that keeps them securely in the ears. A nice feature, but my ears tend to get sore if I watch a 2 hour movie, or a movie and the special features. That is the only down-side for me.
I watched 6 movies, plus special features on some, before an automated voice told me the battery was low. Recharging the set was easy: pop off the little lid, and turn it to one side, then plug in the provided power cord, and wait a couple of hours until the tiny red light goes off. Now, I don’t wait for the voice; I power it back up after watching 3 or so movies. Powering doesn’t take as long, and I don’t get caught in the middle of a movie.
The sound is stereo, and much clearer than my built-in TV speakers. So…Nice!

This is a great product which significantly added to my elderly mother’s enjoyment of the television which she was struggling to hear with her hearing aids. When the necklace stopped working after about six months they replaced it immediately. She would have appreciated a pair of slightly smaller ear buds amongst the selection.
They are easy to install, no fussing for paring or charging, I can watch TV without subtitles while others are sleeping without disturbing at any time. If you go to the website, there are questions answered, videos to watch on how to connect, and live chat for any questions you need answered. Awesome company. Highly recommend.
In the box I received 2 USB power cords, 1 for the transmitter and 1 for the headphones, no batteries necessary, there was no USB AC adapter, but we all have USB charges for charging our cell phone, they are also available on wall outlets, power strips, and on my TV (2015 55″ Samsung Smart TV) had 2 USB ports, which worked great. there was the Optical digital cable, 3.5 mm cable and RCA cables.
I connected with the Optical Digital Audio out , the TV worked great. sound was awesome. Went into Smart hub and YouTube worked great, but Amazon Prime and Netflix, no sound, puzzling, I thought that there might be a connection with the digital audio capability, but if the TV and cable supported it, YouTube through the smart hub supported, so should Amazon Prime and Netflix. I disconnected the Optical digital audio connection and connected the transmitter to the TV through the audio out with the 3.5 mm, and now, no matter what you watch, it works. Not sure why the Optical Digital connection is not compatible with Amazon Prime and Netflix, and probably many other apps, but it is not the fault of these headphones nor the transmitter.
Works as described and brilliant support from Avantree, the headphones work with the Transmitter seamlessly. When attempting to connect headphones to my phones bluetooth, I could not work it out but only due to not following the instructions properly. Contacted Avantree through their online chat and they answered almost immediately and talked me through it.
(Just in case anyone is as useless as me, to connect to other bluetooth devices, make sure the transmitter is off, put the other device in pairing mode and hold the power button on the heaphones until the light flashes red and blue).
The headphones are great for the price that they are, definitely not the best sound possible but they are not advertised for that and are great for watching movies etc especially for the hearing impaired like myself. There seems to be no delay when used with the transmitter and so far when paired with my phone. The range seems good enough for me, the only time it has had problems is when I have gone onto a different floor from the transmitter but that is not a problem at all and quite a distance.
I had previously returned a similar model because I couldn’t get audio on HD channels but this one works fine and the transmitter/receiver is smaller without an antenna. With this device you can use earbuds to listen to the program at your sound level whilst the TV plays a different level.
Good product, no video sync delay (some delay but not noticeble) good to fair battery life, sometimes takes a while to connect, sound is good with good bass and less treble, Less quality than a wired once but sometime you need a wireless one when watching in bed. Every singer knows how important to hear her voice during a performance, especially when the other musicians play loud. With these earphones, you plug the transmitter in the console and you can have a clear sound of your voice with no delay. PLUS, you can wear a dress as you don’t have to place the receiver on a belt or a jean.
Traditionnal in ear device cost at least 500$ if you want reliable transmission and no sound lost. Those ones cost under 100$ and I never experienced any problem with it.

Battery life not tested. First set was faulty, with no sound in left earpiece. This set was replaced with a low level of hassle. Replacement set works well. Can have the TV on as loud as I like without complaints from my wife. Sound quality good, nice & light, easy to wear all evening.
I bought this set for my wife who is going rather deaf and was having trouble with TV sound. She is delighted with the result. They are comfortable to wear, unobtrusive and the sound quality is clear. The only slight drawback is that she now can’t hear me very well if I make a comment about something on the TV. But she doesn’t care. 🙂

Il set comprende tutto, ma veramente tutto, anche un cavo ottico col quale effettuare il collegamento al TV, troverete infatti il paio di cuffie, e la trasmittente da connettere al TV.
Vi baster effettuare 2 collegamenti, fornendo corrente al dispositivo con qualsiasi porta USB, e collegando l’audio in uscita del TV.
Per quanto riguarda l’ascolto, da notare che si sente molto bene per ascoltare la TV, che sia parlato o musica, non fa differenza, nonostante questo, ho avuto modo di testarlo connesso ad una Nintendo Switch (Per sfizio) ed in questo caso, l’audio risulta cupo, e pieno di bassi, pertanto, credo dipenda da che dispositivo collegate la qualit di ascolto di questo dispositivo.
Posso confermare che non ci sono ritardi degni di nota tra audio originale e in cuffia, e che la batteria, dura davvero quanto dichiarato, ed davvero un numero molto alto di ore considerando la potenza audio che il dispositivo presenta.
CONCLUSIONE
Una validissima alternativa ai marchi pi famosi, presenta funzioni e propiet che non ho riconosciuto in nessun altro tipo di modello pi o meno pregiato, inoltre, considerate che potete comodamente acquistare un secondo paio di cuffie, nel caso lo vogliate, oppure usurate il primo, ovviamente senza dover comprare un altra trasmittente.

Because my hearing is poor they are very good to watch TV late at night during lock down without me disturbing the rest of the family.
Very good product . Sound is great. Had to swap out ear bud covers for 3rd party ones, as the ones provided were not comfortable for me. Range is good. Very little BT interference around things like a microwave oven. No noticeable latency thanks to optical connection. Did not try the RCA connection. Price seems to be at the top of the range, but may be worth it.
Love the sound and ease of use and setting up. The only problem is can’t use earbuds for too long as they fall out. I bought this because I can’t get my hearing repaired during Coronavirus lockdown. But I will be using more often, even when my aid is repaired!
To be fair I haven’t put it to the complete test yet. I bought this for my dad who is hard of hearing and haven’t given it to him yet. I did hook it up at home to try it out first. My first thoughts are, it was easy to hook up and the sound quality is pretty good for a small set. The only thing I think may be an issue fir my dad is the charging, you can either plug into a USB on your tv or use a phone charger, both will be difficult for my dad to see or understand how to do, I think it will be great for him until charging time. Needed a solution to help my elderly mother listen to the TV whilst not having to have the volume turned up to max! These arrived and were so easy to set up with a great video tutorial and paper instructions included. Mother happy as she can clearly hear what she is watching. Neighbours also happy as they cant hear what she is listening to!
Bought these for my mum as she has difficulty hearing and prefers a headset whilst watching the TV, she loves them. Comfortable. Light and easy to use and as she is 74 that’s a huge bonus , only had to show her once and she could use them and charge them without help . Excellent 5 stars
I had a few problems getting things to work but the company sorted it all out by email. It was mostly my fault but they showed a lot of patience. The kit works very well.
So easy and quick to set up. Isolation for the next 12 weeks is now looking a little brighter. I recommend this to anyone who misses a great deal of dialog when watching TV and films.
Last May I bought the earphones / transmitter set and I was very pleased with them. I then ordered one more earphone for my husband and we did the pairing without any problem. However, after a couple of months, the second earbuds started to cut the sound both on our TV in Canada and our TV in Florida. We contacted the company and informed them of the problem. Their customer agent submitted a long list of solutions, some of which which we had already tried without success, some others were too tedious. We were disappointed that they never offered to simply replace our second pair .
I received my HT4186 wireless in-ear headphones transmitter set and it was used NOT NEW missing one cable. The transmitter looked like something had been split on it and the RCA cable was missing from box. I though that I would try it using the optical hoping that it would be fine it sounded great but it keeps dropping or disconnecting so I cannot hear the volume on my TV. Every time it drops I need to turn it off & on to reconnect it. Will buy a game as soon as I get my refund please help!!!

So easy to set up, good sound quality, comfortable to wear. No noticeable rely in lipsync. Found these so good that I’ve purchased a second set of earbuds for my husband.
These were a little tricky to pair with the tv in the way I wanted but once done they work perfectly.
I particularly like the ear buds, they have little braces so they won’t fall out while moving and your ears don’t sweat.
I sometimes like to watch late night films in bed, and living in a flat these are ideal for that, not disturbing other residents and being able to lie back and not feel them pressing on the ears as over the ears headphones tend to so perfect for my needs!
I am 80 and wanted this for TV. Couldn’t understand how and what to do. Chatted to customer services and had almost immediate help from a patient knowledgable delightful person called Sunshine who was so very kind and helpful. We had a problem with the left earpiece of working and although it took a while to get a replacement the service was great and their operative Sunshine kept in touch all the way.
Works fine with my TV that is about ten years old. It doesn’t have a usb on the tv but the wire provided is long enough to stretch to the charger and the other cable plugs into the headphone jack.
Light as a feather, you really don’t know you are wearing them.
Did tons of research chose this one, so glad I did. I can lie down in bed and theyre more comfortable than the bulky over ear ones. Sound quality is great, volume controls are easy. Install was easy, plug in and that’s it, no pairing. There is absolutely no lag in the sound, so no delay in the speech. Awesome buy!
My HT 4186 suddenly stopped connecting the A side to my N16 earphones. The support folks helped me through the steps to clear the previous connections. They were convinced that there was some external cause of the blockage/interference. After several unsuccessful attempts I felt there was no solution and told support so. They however did not give up. After a short time they came back with a suggestion to relocate the units to my car and try to pair them away from any possible external interference. This worked which confirmed the source of my problem was with equipment near my HT4186
OK, I was very unhappy at first. I bought these last year, tried -everything- to get them to work, I could not find a way to hook them up to my system. Disappointed, I returned them. I am hard of hearing, my wife is not. I tried wired phones in the amp’s phone Jack, they give L and R audio only, but no center channel (voice) so I heard music, no dialog. Wife heard nothing. Bad choice. Hooked wired phones to center channel speaker, I hear dialog thru phones, and faint music in background, she hears everything. Still not happy. I wanted it all, and wireless. With my setup (Panasonic TV and Pioneer Audio), there did not seem to be any open audio ports, and Avantree is adamant that if you hook their unit across the center channel speaker output you’ll blow it up. OK, I believe you.
So I bought it, again, to experiment. Bounced several ideas off both Pioneer and Avantree tech support, (Both very helpful) but all negative. So I got to looking deeper, Everything, TV, Apple TV, Blue Ray, Cable Box – everything feeds to the Pioneer amp via HDMI. So I read up on HDMI – Hey, that carries both Video and Audio signals! Oooooh… and there is a HDMI cable going from(?) the amp to(?) the TV, labeled ARC. Hey, what if… all those HDMI cables form a digital data bus – connecting everything to everything else? Then there must be a way to ‘steal’ an audio signal for the Avantree..
Then I noticed a Digital Optical Audio cable going from the TV… to the amp. Another ‘what if…’ – so I unplugged that cable. ALL THE SOUND STOPPED! Everything’s going ’round and ’round… but the sound comes OUT there! Ran to my computer, ordered a J-Tech Digital Optical Audio amplified splitter. (Ahhh – AMPLIFIED is important. If you simply split the signal, each output is half the original strength. Not good) Two days later (WOW you’re good, Amazon) it arrived. I connected the output of the TV to the input of the splitter, plugged one output into the amp – the audio came back on. Held my breath, plugged the Avantree into the splitter, turned on the wireless headphones – IT WORKS!
BTW, my son has been working in the music business for ages, claims that ‘zero latency’ is a myth. Sorry, Dave, to burst your bubble, but there is no echo here. And – being digital audio, I get the full Dolby 5.1 surround signal (yeah, everythin g!) compressed into R and L phones while mom hears it all thru the big speakers. And the sub is tickling my toes.
The moral of the story is don’t give up on these. You may have to think outside Avantree’s box – but the effort is worth it.
UPDATE: Amazon called me back and connected me to an Avantree rep. Through talking with her I was made aware that some tv’s will switch the sound settings back to factory setting when streaming. I have an LG about 2 years old and it did this. I have Netflix but very seldom use it. One of my kids watched it on my tv and that’s where I had the issue of thinking the device was not working. All good now and I am more than satisfied with the way it is working.
So my review went from a 1 to a 4, even though the product itself is worth a 5 star review.
I bought these at the end of August. I really like them, when they worked. They just quit working one day toward the end of November. I went to the Avantree web site and tried the suggestions in their trouble shooting guide. Still not working.
I saw on the site that they also had a 2 year warranty on their products. Started reading some reviews and found out that the headsets quit working is a common problem. Contacted Amazon about a replacement. CS said they would contact Avantree and get back to me. Never happened! But they did convince me that I don’t need Amazon Music and Prime services if this is how CS works for customer. Gonna be cancelling both.
I could say a lot about these, but, unfortunately, I have yet to try them out fully! But, from my experience with them so far I am very pleased with and happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a pair of quality headphones which not only do everything claimed for them, they also do it all at a very reasonable price! The best I have found, so far!

J’avais juste oubli d’crire qu’il avait t facile de les connecter : Je n’ai pas eu employer la notice, c’est dire !
Je peux descendre la bote aux lettres sans souci, je n’ai aucune interruption de sons pourtant : Je passe deux murs et descends deux voles d’escaliers. Je ne regarde, coute plus la tl autrement tant, ce son me convient mieux pourtant, je n’ai aucun problme d’audition mais, je prfre les graves des couteurs. Une personne malentendante de ma famille les a essays et est conquise donc, je vais lui en commander, en cadeau. Bref, je n’ai aucun regret et oui, il fonctionne bien 20 heures d’affile : Mes insomnies font que je regarde parfois la tl durant tout ce temps, si je m’endors dans mon relax, au rveil, les couteurs sont toujours bien placs dans mes oreilles et fonctionnent toujours. Pour ce qui est dans la faon d’augmenter ou diminuer le son, il est vrai que j’ai eu un peu de mal mais cela, durant trois jours pas +, donc, ce n’est vraiment pas un inconvnient. Je les actionne l’aveugle et mme, dans l’obscurit.

I bought this so that when my better half has retired I can listen at whatever volume level I want and she is not disturbed. This is my second attempt at these devices and it is working a treat.
I guess I get around six hours per charge – but as I have also paired another set of headphones I have no problems.
Range is good I can walk from my living room to the back of my kitchen ( about 30mtrs) with very little breaking in reception. It is much better than I expected.

I read the instructions and tried using the different colour coded cables enclosed without success. If I had sound through earphones then the tv would be muted or tv sound and nothing through earphones .i went into tv sound menu .
I was about to give up and accept that I had wasted my money then I decided to spend an extra 12.00 on a 4 port optical splitter ,just connected optical cable from tv to splitter input then a cable to each gadget from a port. It works. I now have simultaneous sound through earphones and tv

Is it me or do actors mumble these days? Luckily the Avantree Wireless Headphones allow you to hear every word. They are very comfortable to wear, and have two sets of ear buds to fit both adults and children. No longer do I have to sit with headphones clamped to my head. The sound is very clear and precise, and as I can hear every word the actors are saying I can only assume actors do not mumble after all!! The bonus is that you can listen to the TV with the sound off so as not to disturb anyone else in the room.
The Earphones arrived in good time as advised by Amazon. Unfortunately though the unit I received was faulty and I needed to return it for a refund. The fault was that only the left earphone worked which is a pity because I believe that they are still a good product for the price. Instructions were easy to follow and set up was quick and simple. The sound quality from the one earphone that does work is quite good for my needs, such as TV and radio, and after I receive my refund I am inclined to purchase another set because I was probably just unlucky to receive a faulty one this time.
Bought these for my dad who has too have tv up twice as loud as we’d like which makes viewing a challenge. Wished I bought them years ago. He can have whatever level he needs & it doesn’t effect our volume at all. So easy to install & he loves them so much he won’t travel without them
I had previously purchased a set of wireless earbuds from a hearing aid store and they stopped working shortly after one year. They used to cut out (no sound) if I walked into the kitchen to work. After getting the Advantree set I was surprised at the superior sound and distance I could hear the TV from. I am ecstatic at the quality of sound and how comfortable the Avantree set is. The set was extremely easy to install, even for a 73 year old. I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend them.

I use the Avantree HT4186 for watching TV . I can move around the room without intereference. Perfect.
These earbuds worked great for the first 3 months, then started to lose their charge quicker than normal. Called Avantree, and they immediately sent a replacement.
No issues with the new ones, and their people were very concerned that I received the new pair quickly.

*DAY 7* – AFTER Talking to customer service and getting a replacement unit sent within 3 days, i Noticed one ear piece again dropped in volume. BUT i realized THATS BECAUSE moisture interferes with the volume!!!i tried a quick sucking on one ear piece and POOF Volume back to normal. My ear wax and sweat at work caused the blockage. Used for tv slightly hard of hearing. I found that headphones uncomfortable as I wear glasses and the pressure interfered with their focase.
Bought these for my husband as he has mild hearing loss and now we can watch TV together without me getting a headache because the volume is so high! Easy to fit in your ear, although not quite as comfortable as over-ear ‘phones (hence 4 out of 5 stars). However, noise cancellation is excellent and not affected by the fact that these are in-ear ‘phones. Excellent clarity for both speech and music.
When I read that it was Fast Stream instead of aptx Low Latency, I was a bit afraid, as they say Fast Stream does not have the same bitrate quality of aptx. But, after using it, I found it has a fantastic sound quality. I am very impressed. I totally recommend it. It is exactly what I was looking for.

he ear pieces are not the most comfortable but the sound is almost perfect and with the Opt connection to the TV you can listen through the ear pieces as as well as the volume on the TV can be altered individually for others. connection is easy but not great having to be plugged into a USB source all the time. The Customer support is second to none and they dont give up on a problem you may have not that there are many problems
Pairs automatically, sounds good, no lag with the speech. Bought for husband who is hard of hearing and he loves them.
I thought I had a problem with them as one ear was “buzzing” so I e-mailed the aftersales service. They were fantastic. I just checked the connections as they advised and I had pulled one out slightly – Problem solved.

I haven’t used other Bluetooth TV headphones, but I particularly like these because they don’t cover the ear and make them hot and when I have the headphones in my ear, they are so comfortable that I don’t really notice they are there. I also have Apple Airpods for my iPhone and I think they both are great in that you don’t think about them being in your ears.
The sound can’t be turned up too loud, but they are definitely loud enough and the sound is very clear. It has gotten to the point where I rather prefer listening to the TV using them than with the volume on the TV on.
My only frustration with the product is that I have had 2 headphones go out on me — one stopped pairing with the receiver and on the second set of headphones one side stopped playing sound. Normally, this would have caused me to want to give the product a negative review. However, each time I contacted them (they prefer email), they have responded very quickly and within half a week sent me a complete new system, with me sending them back the non working system free of charge.
When I purchased them, I figured there was a one year warranty, but I believe one of their customer support people told me there is a 2 year warranty. I hope with my latest pair, I won’t have any need to contact customer service as I suspect they have lost money on me as a customer. Also, I have been inconvenienced with having to wait for a new system to arrive and having to send back the old system.
I have given them 5 stars because I really love this product despite the two instances of them breaking down. And if they do break down, they do stand behind their product and their customer care is excellent and they take care of you right away.
One last thing I would like to add is the battery life is great. I once paired my Airpods to their system and they lasted 3 hours and went out in the middle of a show I was watching. With the Avantree headphones I get a weeks worth of TV out of them before needing to recharge them. I would also add that the range is great. I have walked outside to take the trash out or get something from my car and they stay connected for quite a distance, but for me that is not a necessary feature.
Its comfortable and i like the sound quality. The first i’ve ordered in a few weeks time produced a fault (one side had a lower sound volume – turning off for a while than back on sometimes solved the problem) Very helpful Support – received a replacement quickly and without a problem.
Working perfectly with the tv unit and the earphone alone could be connected to any bluetooth device – im using it with my phone as well.
The ear buds are very comfortable and provide a surprisingly good sound quality. I use these for heavy metal and audio books and they serve very well for both. I have recharged about once every three days so these don’t seem to drain the battery when on but not in use. The buds connect to the Audicast (as expected) but also my mobile and PC without a problem. The Audicast itself connects to a the buds (as expected) but I have also connected it to a pair of Subzero headphones and a Plantronics earpiece easily and reliability. Overall excellent value.

Es gab nur ein Problem und zwar, dass mein Fernseher seine Lautsprecher abgeschaltet hat, wenn ich die Tonausgabe auf Bluetooth eingestellt habe. Und das bedeutete, dass meine Frau, die keine Kopfhrer will und braucht, nicht gemeinsam mit mir fernsehen konnte.
Ich habe deshalb den NB16 zurckgeschickt und das Avantree HT4186 gekauft, das (neben einigen Kabeln und sonstigem Zubehr) aus dem Bluetooth-Kopfhrer NB16 und einem Bluetooth Transmitter besteht, der sich ber ein optisches Kabel (=beigefgtes Zubehr) mit dem Digital Optical Toslink Kopfhreranschluss meines Fernsehers verbinden lsst. Der Transmitter erzeugt und sendet ein eigenes Bluetooth-Signal, sodass mein Fernseher bei der Tonausgabe nicht auf Bluetooth eingestellt werden muss. Jedenfalls war so mein Problem auf sehr zufriedenstellende Weise gelst: Kopfhrer und Lautsprecher funktionieren parallet zueinander.
Was ich feststellte: Die Reichweite des Transmitter Bluetooth Signals scheint nicht ganz so stark zu sein wie das des Fernsehers, aber fr meine Bedrfnisse reicht es allemal. Im Umkreis von ca. 8m vom Transmitter ist (zumindest bei mir) der Empfang strungsfrei, wenn man den Transmitter einigermaen frei stellt (also nicht z.B. hinter dem Fernsehgert versteckt), etwa 9m.
Die angegebene Akkubetriebsdauer nach Neuladung hat bei mir die angegebenen 20 Stunden sogar noch berschritten. Allerdings muss man aufpassen, denn wenn das akustische Signal meldet “Battery low” , geht es schnell: nach ca. 5 Minuten schaltet der Kopfhrer ab. Also ein bisschen mitrechnen und rechtzeitig nachladen. Das Aufladen des ganz entladenen Akkus dauert ca. 2 Stunden.
Die Handhabung des Kopfhrers und des Transmitters ist relativ einfach. Wichtig ist, dass die ntigen Anschlussbuchsen am TV vorhanden sind. Angenehm ist fr mich auch das geringe Gewicht des Kopfhrers.
Fazit: Fr mich als Mensch mit Hrproblemen im oberen Frequenzbereich ist es ganz wesentlich, v.a. in Spielfilmen mit Musik oder anderen Geruschen im Hintergrund gesprochene Sprache klar herauszuhren. Ich habe schon eine ganze Reihe z.T. auch hochwertiger Kopfhrer gehabt, aber bei keinem von ihnen war die Sprache so klar zu verstehen wie beim Avantree NB16 bzw. beim HT4186. Da ich wei, dass viele v.a. auch ltere Menschen das gleiche Problem mit dem Stimmenverstehen beim Fernsehen haben, knnte das ein Tipp sein…
Ich hoffe, dass das Gert und speziell auch der Akku mglichst lange hlt.

I bought these as I have a hearing problem and as I have hearing aids TVs still have different sound volumes either with speakers or just sound quality. These have made a huge difference to me and I would recommend them to anyone

A good all round set of headphones. Noise cancellation is reasonable as is the sound quality. The battery life is excellent and lasts a good few hours from one charge. The only criticism I have,and this is probably down to me,is that I have a problem getting the headphones to fit correctly but once in place they have a comfortable feel.
La prima impressione, una volta collegato il prodotto della Avantree ed effettuata l’associazione con le sue cuffiette che tutto funzioni perfettamente, soprattutto senza apprezzabili ritardi tra il movimento labiale del parlatore in TV e l’ascolto in cuffia. C’ comunque da considerare, sopratutto guardando film, che questi sono stati doppiati e quindi, fissando l’attenzione sul movimento delle labbra e sull’ascolto, anche senza l’accoppiata Avantree, a ben vedere si percepiscono alcune incongruenze tra l’audio ed il video.
Per il resto posso dire che le cuffiette sono molto comode da indossare anche per lunghi ascolti.
A proposito del trasmettitore/ricevitore rilevo che il protocollo di trasmissione bluethoot il 4.2 a fronte del pi recente 5.0, senza peraltro che questo aspetto infici la qualit della trasmissione/ricezione.
Unico dettaglio che avrei preferito differente la presenza di un piccolo interruttore per accendere e spegnere manualmente il box Avantree. Forse evitare questa operazione e attivare e disattivare il box in automatico, per esempio in presenza di segnale audio in entrata o meno, sarebbe stato ancora pi confortevole.
Aggiungo per un particolare unico e molto positivo rispetto ad altri oggetti con le medesime funzioni: mentre quasi tutti hanno un solo pulsante per accendere, spegnere il dispositivo e per “accoppiare” le due cuffiette, generando un po’ di confusione, questo prodotto oltre ad avere l’interruttore di accensione/spegnimento sul retro, dotato di due comodi pulsanti A e B, che permettono di “accoppiare” senza alcuna confusione due differenti cuffiette: non banale!
Un’ultima osservazione sul prezzo. In effetti acquistando un trasmettitore/ricevitore bluethoot 5.0 di produzione cinese e una cuffietta auricolare separata, ho ottenuto risultati talmente simili che non saprei dire se una soluzione migliore dell’altra, ma ad un prezzo sensibilmente inferiore, da cui una stella in meno. Per il resto le istruzioni sono sufficientemente chiare, i due dispositivi Avantree sembrano ben costruiti e gradevoli da “avere in giro”, senza problemi di “inserimento nell’arredamento”. Le cuffiette sembrano avere una buona durata di carica della batteria. quanto tempo funzioner il tutto alla perfezione lo sapr solo a distanza, mi auguro molta.

I use primarily for late night viewing while my wife is fast asleep. It works seamlessly and after reading other reviews prior to purchase did not have any issues re: off/on switch etc.

Update: Problem with right earphone not working, contacted customer service via email and through their advise was unable to correct problem. They replaced earphones at no charge.
No complaints. Followed the instructions and easily installed. I hooked it up via the optical cable on my Samsung TV. Comfortable to wear laying down on the couch. Girlfriend is happy now she can do work in peace. I’m about 8 FT away from TV however I get the sound even in the kitchen. Doubt you’ll b be disappointed with this product
UPDATE* December 2019: I had a issue with left side ear bud intermittently working. I contacted Avantree via email. The next day Jeany from Avantree Support responded to verify my purchase. After verifying sent me a new headset at no cost to me.

MISE-A-JOUR : Aprs plus de deux semaines d’utilisation, j’en suis toujours trs satisfait, il n’y a pas de coupure dans le son, les couteurs fonctionnent trs longtemps avant de devoir recharger leurs batterie et elles se rechargent rapidement. Et j’ai apprcie qu’ils fournissent plusieurs types de fils adapts aux diffrentes connexions que peuvent avoir un tlviseur. Je recommande ce produit !!!
