Mixer provides very good noise free sound, however the power connection jack is intermittent if unit is moved. Even though connector is completely installed up & down movement turns unit off.

A bit of a revelation - excellent value
I added this to my mini solo gigging rig. I allows 6 instruments or Mics to mix down to two channels (or one – the way I use it – all inputs panned to one channel then into a single input combo).
I really like the ASIO out into usb, great for quick audio capture. It’s not as high quality or low latency as my Behringer u-phoria, but it really gets the job done!!
I love the “English EQ” (high, mid, and low) for small gigging. The Phantom 48v supply is really handy for condenser Mics for guitars. I’ve probably not used all the features on this “more than entry level” mixer.

La Xenyx Q802YSB es la mesa de mezclas que uso de apoyo para el Rode Procaster que uso de micrfono, me da libertad total para ecualizar mi voz para que se escuche totalmente ntida y natural y la verdad es que estoy contentsimo con ella, si tuviera que ponerle un pero sera su tamao, es mucho ms grande de lo que esperaba, lo cual come mucho espacio del escritorio.

I don’t have much to say, it’s was solid and felt premium. The reason why I’ve given it four stars is that it doesn’t support audio monitoring. That wasn’t the issue for me though, the Headphones/CTRL Room amplify knob was faulty, the right channel would fade out then back in again at a particular position, sadly that position was just to liable to cause problems in the future so I sent it back.

I bought this for podcasting . 1, make sure you find the updated drivers or you’ll go mad trying to find out why your getting a hiss. 2 to record and listen back you need a stereo phono lead .
Other than that it’s great value for money and my Calming Anxiety podcasts are always in the Spotift charts

Ich benutze das Pult fr kleine Musikaufnahmen ber Mikrofon fr Gesang, akustische Gitarre und E-Gitarre. Eigentlich problemlos, allerdings vermisse ich einen separaten Ein/Aus Schalter. Und ein paarmal habe ich mir aufgrund der erforderlichen Umschaltung fr den Kopfhrer fast die Trommelfelle weggeschossen. Deshalb 1 Punkt Abzug.
Dispatched next day, happy with quick postage. This wasn’t as big as I thought. The box is large but the unit was a good size. Few bad points which I will note later. Here’s why I got this though. This is an audio interface and sound mixer all in one. It allows you to plug it via USB, big plus. I wanted to create live streams with audio for two people audio and have sound effects playing live at the same time. It does that great.
You can also have a Skype call in via your pc and use the unit to speak back to them and record the “interview” on OBS. Here are the things I didn’t like, out the box it has a wobble if put on flat surface, not a major issue (blue tack under one corner fixes it) but an issue neither the less. Next issue is it is powered with a “special” adapter which has pins in it. This is flimsy and already I have experienced it turning off when I moved the unit on the desk and one when I moved it slightly. All that said I have been happy as thinking about how much it costs I have to live with these quirks.
I would recommend it YES!

I would like to mention that the quality of recording depends on the quality of mics and cables.
-The device has all the tuning needed and works great.
-The equalizer and gain settings provide the quality control of instruments.
-I have found it good enough for recording flutes,guitars and vocals.
Make sure you know what you’re doing. It will serve its maximum capacity.

Sound is really good , matched with a Behringer C-1 mic and it is much better than my Blue Snowball or Nessie.
Build quality is very good , all the knobs are tight and stiff etc.
The loss of a star is because the device has NO POWER BUTTON. What a dumb and dangerous omission.
The unit gets very warm after a few hours use so a power button should be on the device.

This mixer is ridiculously good at the price. Granted, it may only have two XLR inputs, but for me, that’s perfect as I am rarely using more than one microphone. The only downside to this mixer is its lack of ability to monitor the audio coming from the mixer whilst recording on a computer if you have to listen to playback to record over something. Apart from that, it is a brilliant product and would highly recommend for aspiring musicians

Great little mixer for the right price.
I’ve had this mixer for a few months now and I’m quite happy with it. It’s small and light so it’s easy to pack with the other gear for gigs, and it does everything I need for guitar and vocals in pubs and clubs. It works well, sounds good and is quite easy to use. All without breaking the bank.
The only thing that lets it down is the power supply, and that’s why I’ve only given four stars. Firstly there are two long leads on the power pack that get tangled in transit, a single one would be much more user friendly. The other let down is the power connector on the unit, it is quite a flimsy fit and I would expect it to start dropping out at some point. For now I’ve taped it permanently in but I’ll do some modification when the warranty has expired. Aside from this though I’m really happy with it.
Great small desk and Audio Interface
Its a brilliant small desk which is perfect for my needs. I’m using it at gigs to sub mix my keyboards before going into my Yamaha DX12 speaker, giving me EQ.
Having the USB Audio Interface option is fantastic. I have used it connected through my Kingston Nucleum USB-C hub (also recommend) acting as an audio interface for my new iPad Pro 11inch and it worked perfectly.

Ideal for a beginner in sound mixing. Robust. The AC input is flimsy and will need replacing at some point but you get what you pay for.

Great little mixer for the price. Solid metal case and very easy to use.
The minor flaws are:
– The power cord connection into the unit is very flimsy. A slight movement of the mixer or the power cord causes the cord
to become dislodged from the mixer. I don’t know why this obvious weakness was not corrected by Behringer.
– The phantom 48 mic power switch is very tiny and the spring is very weak. Hard to tell from a glance if it is on or off.The power light indicator will glow for several seconds after the switch is deactivated. It’s confusing at times.

La salida USB la encuentro interesante no para hoy sino para un futuro en que las entradas de ordenadores se limitarn a modalidad unicamente digital.
Como calidad de sonido es muy aceptable para el precio que cuesta, considerando un soplido de fondo un tanto alto cuando se abusa de la ecualizacin maxima en agudos para las entradas de micro.
Escog este producto entre toda la gama de mesas de mezcla.
For the price its good
I have been using this for a week now to mix audio on Facebook messenger and it works extremely well. The features and sound quality are great – phantom power, eq, panning etc.
It’s not perfect by a long way – as seems to be the case with all Behringer Xenyx mixers it wobbles on a flat surface – not the end of the world but if you have a microphone nearby and are using the controls it is picked up. I found blu tack under the ‘feet’ solves the problem.
More worrying is that the power connector is very poor. It is a micro din type and it really doesn’t fit properly and feels like it could come out at any time (it hasn’t but I expect it will) given that the unit doesn’t have an on-off switch you have to take it out then plug it back in every time you use it (or switch it off at the power outlet). I am concerned about its lifespan. Why they couldn’t use a standard plug baffles me.
Another strange thing is that using the USB/2-track inputs appears to mute the other inputs – this maybe to prevent feedback but its a pain,
I can live with all these niggles for the price and for the relatively simple task I need it for it works well.

Very Good Mixer For It's Price
Very good entry level mixer or if you want to learn more about mixers. I use it for listening to both my pcs and to capture audio from my gaming pc as I do Twitch streaming and I didn’t know anything about mixers but I’ve learned how to use them by having this one. However if you want a premium sound quality mixer then find a more expensive one as you get what you pay for.

Der mixer wird bei mir eingesetzt um Mikrofon mit dem PC (iMac) zu Verbinden (YouTuber).
Wollte aber ein Mikro das nicht USB ist weil ich auch bisschen Heimmusik mache (DJ und Gitarre).
Voll Zufrieden. es macht genau das was ich wollte. Hier bietet sich an auch ggf. ein paar YT-Videos zu schauen, da teilweise die Einstellungen ned ganz logisch sind.

– my headset makes a popping noise when plugged into it(fixed that issue by plugging my at m50x headphones into my scarlett solo)

Bei den ersten Versuchen klang das Mischpult schrecklich. Dumpf, verrauscht und mit Strgeruschen. Bis ich dann mit der richtigen Einstellung meine PCI Soundkarte deaktiviert habe in der Aufnahme und somit alle Strgerusche weg waren. Die on Bord Karte verursacht diese Gerusche nicht und das Ergebnis ist super mit dem rode nt1a im ersten test und dem richtigen einpegeln. Warum die pci Soundkarte Einfluss hat auf das usb audiointerface ist mir nicht klar. Auf jeden Fall funktioniert es jetzt und ich bin glcklich.
Hatte erst an ein defekt gedacht und deshalb Ersatz bestellt, was schnell funktionierte. Da das Gert das selbe machte habe ich dieses problemlos zurck geschickt.
Alles in allem bin ich zufrieden mit dem Preis/Leistungsverhltnis um damit dem Hobby musik zu machen nachzugehen!
Schönes Pult mit super Klang
Ich habe das Pult zwischen meinen Rechner und meine Stereoanlage geschlossen und ersetze damit die UCA-222. Den Ausgangssound hat das nochmal deutlich verbessert. Auerdem lasse ich meine Aufnahmen fr Podcasts ber das Pult laufen. Ich nutze dafr ein T.Bone SC 400 und habe nix zu beanstanden. Der Klang ist dafr, dass ich kein schalisoliertes Studio habe, wirklich gut.
Das Pult wird zwar minimal warm, allerdings nicht so, dass es stren wrde. Den nicht vorhandenen On/Off-Knopf kompensiere ich mit einem 2,50 Zwischenschalter aus dem Baumarkt.
Der einzige echte Nachteil fr mich ist, dass man das Eingangssignal aus dem USB-Anschluss leider nicht aussteuern kann. Dafr ziehe ich einen Stern ab.
Fazit fr das Geld wirklich ein tolles Pult und jederzeit zu empfehlen.

yo la compr para poder tocar con secuencias y por poder usarla como interface para con un ipad, sin embargo se necesita el adaptador original Lightning a USB Cmara, pero si quieres hacer msica de una buena calidad, te recomiendo esta mezcladora que al mismo tiempo te sirve como interface, espero les sirva este comen y se animen a adquirir este producto si tienen los mismos fines que yo.
Gut das hrt sich fast an wie ein Werbespruch, aber aus den Behringer Q802USB Xenyx Premium 8-Kanal 2-Bus Mixer passt dieser Spruch perfekt.
Nach fast einem Jahr im Einsatz kann ich sagen, es erfllt genau seinen Zweck ist Qualitativ gut verarbeitet und funktioniert noch tadellos. Sicherlich liegt es auch daran, welche Erwartungen man an so ein Gert dieser Preisklasse hat, ich finde jedoch, dass hier das Preis-/Leistungsverhltnis in Ordnung geht.
Man muss beim Preis bedenken, dass das Behringer Q802USB eine Phantomspeisung und einen eingebauten Verstrker besitzt. Hier ist der Mixer fast jeden Tag im Einsatz ohne jegliche Ausflle.

bin auf eine kleine ungereimtheit in der Anleitung reingefallen oder mein Mixer war defekt. Denn der Sound der ber die interne USB-Soundkarte lsst sich nicht am 2Track-Out ausgeben. Nur das was ber die analogen Line-Ins sowie Mics kommt, wird bei gedrcktem 2 Track Out -> MainMix auch am 2 Track Out ausgegeben. Laut Anleitung ist der 2 Track Out mit dem Main Output gekoppelt, was so nicht direkt korrekt ist. Denn die USB Ausgabe erfolgte nur am Main Out.
Überwiegend zufriedenstellend
Ich habe das Mischpult nun schon ein paar Wochen in Benutzung und bin zufrieden.
Allerdings braucht es einen Trick, um sich selbst und Computer-Sound zu hren und dabei den Ton vom Mikrofon in den PC zu bringen.

I bought this to replace my Wharfedale Pro 502USB because I needed an extra mic input and a monitor output, and I’m glad I did. The 502 always had an annoying hum which was impossible to get rid of, whereas the Q802USB just has a slight hiss when it’s turned up loud (like most PA systems). And it does go loud – I had the 502 teamed up with a Roland KC150 and struggled to fill a medium venue. With this one that’s not a problem.
I don’t know why Behringer didn’t fit an on/off switch, but that was easily solved by fitting a switched plug VASI4KO – Switched Plugtop 13A on/off switch Red neon indicator – VASI4KO
High quality & good value
Lots of dials and knobs that I’m working through, but most things are intuitive enough to get started without the manual. Love how they included a power supply and USB cable. I have the same wobble as other reviewers but I just stuck some plastic under the front right corner & it’s done. One point, there is no mono output so if you want to send a signal to a mono amp for example like I do, you’ll have to make a cable-no problem, took about 20 mins to solder one together. So far I’m really impressed and delighted with this addition to my little home studio.

I really like the sound from this unit, comes with the usual features of a Behringer mixer. The only complaint is the DIN connector for power, there are better connectors available.

I was looking at a focusrite interface but i didnt have $300 This gives me full control and i can hook up my outboard processor run everything through the processor and monitor it. Finally the usb let me send everything to my software(Ableton) and there it is. This is central to my studio and it cost only $80

I bought this to replace my now non-functional mixer (I can’t complain it lasted well over a year with regular use before it broke) The fact that this one had a USB interface was the draw here & I’m not disappointed. This is for me to do basic condenser microphone work for videos, narration & spoken word projects. The simple use of the USB lead (included with the product) has made my life considerably easier. It has the Phantom Power which works fine with my existing microphone (probably works well with any phantom power microphone in honesty) This is for people who need a basic 2 channel mixer for basic projects.
My only criticism is that I see a potential design flaw, the exact same one that my previous Behringer mixer suffered, in that the vent is on the bottom of the unit (probably no other place to put it) & this causes the heat to pool under the mixer when in use. These things get quite warm when they are powered up & I have concern for the solder joints during prolonged use. But this being said, it’s easily remedied by placing it ontoa stand or small box to allow the heat to disperse better.

I needed a small compact audio mixer to fit into a small space next to my video editing equipment….this fitted the bill perfectly but the best thing about it is the quality of the sound it produces. using a phantom powered large diaphragm capacitor microphone sounds really nice and clean with very low noise, equalisation frequencies are well chosen allowing music to be enhanced. Control knobs are positive and precise with a good quality feel about them….This is quite a comprehensive little mixer more than capable of excellent results……

La compr en la miodalidad “como nueva”, y llego estupenda, incluso con su caja. Tiene la cantidad sufiente de entradas para mis necesidades, no se aprecian ruidos de fondo, y es tan pequea que se la puede llevar a todas parteas sin que ello sea un problema. Los potenciometros funcionan bien, y el aumento o reduccin de volumen se efectua de manera escalonada, sin saltos ni ruidos. El precio sali de ganga. La recomiendo absolutamente.

If you know about Audio engineering then buy otherwise dont buy it because without knowing about the audio you cant able use its full potential out of it. If you dont know about sound waves and wrong connections / setting may leads to damage mixer circuit. before un plug the XLR connector down the gain nob fully. If you mishandled it then you cant claim warranty too! so be careful when you buy it.
Bei einem Preis von circa 80 kann man bei diesem Mischpult fr den Schreibtisch nicht viel falsch machen. Das Bedienen fhlt sich nicht wirklich hochwertig an, da das Modell etwas wackelt und die Regler gut, aber nicht sehr gut verarbeitet sind. An sich ist das Produkt nicht wirklich kompliziert und die Funktionen sind berschaubar. Wer kurz recherchiert erfhrt schnell, dass wenn man das Mischpult am PC benutzt nicht gleichzeitig den Ton vom PC sowie den Ton von einem angeschlossenen Mikro mit Kopfhrern abhren kann. Das ganze lsst sich zwar “umgehen” jedoch mit Einschrnkungen. Im Groen und Ganzen gefllt mir das Produkt sehr gut und gengt alle mal meinen Ansprchen. Komisch finde ich jedoch, dass der “PHONES” Output bei mir lauter, als der “CTRL ROOM OUT” ist. Ein groes Problem ist das jedoch nicht, da man an den meisten Boxen oder Soundsystemen sowieso separat die Lautstrke anpassen kann.

Hey this is a nice little unit I would buy it again. Easy set up works well and no problems.
Some people complain about the wobble on a counter or desk well fix it get the felt feet and mount them under the unit and that problem goes away. This also lifts the unit for better cooling a bit I believe.

A great mixer that is easy to install and setup, lot’s of video tutorials online at YouTube if you need help. So far it is doing a great job on my Windows 10 Pro PC.

Most of my studio stuff is 20+ years old & now it's just me recording for fun. This little guy replaced a huge old mixing board, an audio interface, and a mike pre-amp & compressor. Suddenly space to put down my coffee & it works fine for me!

Man hrt vieles ber die Behringermischpulte, die meisten negativen Rezensionen kommen in der Regel zustande durch Unkenntnis. Bei einem USB Mischpult dieser Gre darf man nicht zu viel erwarten, wenn dann auch ein extrem sensibles Mikrofon angeschlossen wird, wie es z.b bei mir der Fall ist mit dem rode nt1a dann wird ein Rauschen zu hren sein. Das liegt in meinem Fall an dem pc Lfter. Wenn ein leiserer pc in einer guten Umgebung ein Mikrofon an das Gert angeschlossen wird, drfte sich definitiv jeder damit zufrieden geben, auch der Versand war extrem schnell!

Was man schon alles ber Behringer gelesen hat, darf man getrost in die Tonne kippen.
Neben viel “Kleinzeug” von Behringer und den KENYX 502 sowie 802 habe ich nun mein drittes “Mischpult” in Form des Q802USB ins Haus geholt, weil ich auch im Bereich des DAW ein wenig experimentieren wollte, und der versprochene USB Ausgang dieses Teils meine Klnge endlich einmal direkt in den PC splen sollte.
Ich kann nur sagen.. “Mission erfllt”.. Wie gewohnt gut verpackt, einfach angesteckt, Ding-Ding sofort vom PC erkannt, und der Rest ist nur mehr Einstellungssache.
Wenn man keinen Schrott anschliesst, kommt hinten einfach Freude raus. Kein Rauschen, kein Knarzen, keine Potigerusche, einfach pure Freude fr kleines Geld.
Ich mchte das erwhnen, weil manche Rezessions-Neurotiker immer wieder Vergleich zu hochpreisigen Vergleichsartikeln posten. Ich mache Musik seit mehr als 25 Jahren, und habe meine Signale auch schon in wirklich teure Vergleichsprodukte schicken drfen… Wer da tatschlich grosse Unterschiede findet, darf mir diese gerne auch persnlich vorfhren… der Rest ist Geschwtz!
PS. Ich habe mir mein gesamtes Behringer Equipment immer selbst zum Vollpreis gekauft und nie etwas auch nur einen Euro vergnstig “zum freundlichen Testen” erhalten. Ich kenne nicht einmal einen einzigen Mitarbeiter von dort persnlich..

For a novice who hadn’t got a clue about what I needed, or was supposed to be purchasing, this was a complete shot in the dark attempt to fix an issue that I had with a microphone I purchased on Amazon a month or 2 previous that didn’t function quite as was advertised on either the store page, or the paperwork that came with it. As such, I was amazed to find that, when the mixer arrived, it solved not only the issue with the microphone that I had been having, but at the same time solved a great many other issues and technical difficulties that I had been experiencing in trying to get a good setup for streaming in a semi-professional manner. Sure, it isn’t the be all and end all of mixing desk equipment, and it isn’t going to be able to do everything you had ever wanted, but, for the price, this is by far and away the best piece of equipment I could have purchased, and, as such, I would not hesitate for a single second in recommending any other person, be it either confused by the myriad of exceptionally technical information needed to understand audio equipment, or knowing exactly what they need, to purchase this mixer. I love the flexibility of the inputs that it provides me with, as well as the access to send audio out to it directly from the PC, before tweaking and mixing volumes and eq settings, and sending it back into the PC, all using a simple USB cable, and or a couple of 3.5mm to 6.35mm cables. In fact, my only slight niggle with this mixer is it’s distinct lack of a power switch built into the unit, leading me to need to purchase an extension lead with single socket switches on it specifically for this (as my electricity distribution setup in my office is very much sub optimal, and disallows me to simply switch it off at the wall. I would simply pull the plug from the back of the unit, however, the connector doesn’t instill me with confidence, however, I suspect that this is purely a slight manufacturing defect with my unit, which I am currently in discussion with Behringer about to resolve. All in all, I cannot fault this, and, if ever I happen to need either a more capable unit, or a second unit of this style for another purpose, I know exactly where I am going to get it.

This is a great mixer for the price. The only con is that it does not have an on/off switch. I use a switch panel on a rack so this wasn't an issue for me. I've been using Behringer for a long time. It's gets a wrap for being a "cheap" brand but I always found them to be reliable and priced right for items that will be used in a rehearsal or studio setting.

Bought this to go with my Rode NT-1 and they work together beautifully. Nice heavy build. Good quality controls. I would suggest putting some pads or feet under it for extra stability. No power switch, which is not really an issue. Loads of inputs and great for video pod-casting, which is what I use it for. A nice bit of kit for the price. 10 out of 10.
I have now purchased two of these mixers for use with our local Net radio station. High quality sound at a price that works for a non-profit. REALLY wish that Behringer put mute buttons on each channel, but that's not a deal breaker (most of the other low-end mixers have the same issue).

It is one of the best for the price range. Quality is really great and with minimum effort you start recording/mixing/podcasting. The Xenyx pre-amps are of professional quality to give the phantom-power to the two mic inputs, if you’re connecting studio quality condensor mics.
If you’re also planning to hook up a mobile-phone to record telephonic interviews on your show, it is better to get some additional cables and there is a helpful you-tube video […] . It was really helpful for me. Thanks to Marcellus King for the tech advice.
Altogether, I’m pretty happy with the purchase. You’re never wrong with a Behringer 🙂

I think my latency on software is audible so the audio buffer size had to be adjusted down to 320samples. Blah blah. If you can't hear while recording or don't see levels you might have to double check "To Main Mix" or "To control room" buttons are pressed/depressed or that computer monitor mode is on/off. Otherwise straight forward.

This is a great little mixer, I have a babyFace as well which is quieter but has the mixer in the computer. There is something much more immediate and easy to use by having the knobs to twiddle to get the right sound. And it really is remarkably quiet for the price, good enough for live and for recording all but the quietest of music. What a Deal

Ja, es rauscht. Aber vor allem dann, wenn man das Gain bis zum Anschlag aufzieht, weil das Eingangsignal (zu) schwach ist…
Ausschalter: fehlt. Der Netzteilstecker geht direkt aufs Board und ist bei mir nicht 100% mittig im Gehuseloch.
Bedeutet: Man muss den Stecker des Netzteils vorsichtig etwas schief einstecken. Unschn.
Positiv: Per OTG-Kabel lsst sich das Mischpult auch direkt am Android Tablet oder Smartphone anschlieen.
Mit einer App wie (Audio Recorder Pro) lsst sich ohne viel Aufwand das Signal gleich mit aufzeichnen.

This mixer was great for my Shure SM7B.
Has phantom power so it was able to power the microphone correctly. Sadly it stopped working and I had to buy another one. However, because it was such a great mixer, I thought it was worth it.
I like that this mixer was able to have dual channel use for 2 separate audio devices and for multiple users to hear with headphones. It made for great use when friends were over and we would podcast for fun.
Using this as an audio interface to record some synth gear jams on a laptop. This is the least expensive way I can find to do that. The recordings come out clean using Logic Pro. Unit is small lite and functional. Setup in logic takes less than 30 seconds and no drivers are needed on a Mac.

If your starting a podcast or just need to mix into your computer, this mixer is perfect. I've had no issues with sound quality. Simple, easy to use and gives me what I need. There is no on or off switch but I usually shunt down with power bar so no big deal, it's usually norm for USB powered Mics and mixers.

Dieses Mischpult habe ich mir geholt mit dem Rode Nt1a.
ich konnte kein permanentes Rauschen feststellen wie in Vorigen Bewertungen beschrieben.
Am Anfang war ein rauschen drauf aber nach ein paar Einstellungs nderungen und test aufnahmen war dies auch mit Phantomeispeisung weg.
Tip nicht nur Bewertungen lesen sondern auch auf Youtube suchen dort findet man die Einstellung beim folge Modell Q1002 gut erklrt.(ist so hnlich und klingt vollkommen gleich mit dem rode Nt1a)
fr die die meinen mann drfe die Phantomeinspeisung nicht nehmen ohne kommt so gut wie kein Ton in den Computer rein.
Tip den Gain Regler nur auf 12 Uhr Stellung und nicht weiter Drehen sonst Kommt es zum Rauschen.
allem in allem ist dies eine Super Kombi und ich bin mit dem Mischpult sehr zufrieden.

nachdem mein Mischpult ein dauer rauschen seit einem Monat durch ein defektes Bauteil hatte und ich es dann in die Garantie gesendet habe (ganz ohne Problem) und nach einer Woche wiederbekommen habe ist das Mischpult noch rauscharmer als es jemals Vorher war zurck gekommen d.h. wahrscheinlich das ein bestimmtes Bauteil defekt sein wird standardmig. im bericht stand als Bezeichnung C99 seitdem klappt auch der COMP-Regler richtig (vorher mit zum Rauschen gefhrt). und verhindert ein Rckkopplungston.
My son wanted a better microphone for use with his PC and suggested an Audio Technica AT-2020 condensor one.
I already have the 5 channel version of this mixer hooked up to my PC, but the phantom power on that one is insufficient for the microphone, which requires the full 48 volts. So I bought this one, which works fantastically. Very easy setup with Windows 8 – no driver to download – it just installs as a USB Audio Codec. I think there is some special Behringer software that you can download but we haven’t found a need for that yet.
For simple PC audio purposes, recording great quality audio, and getting sound out to headphones, it is very convenient compared to faffing around round the back of the PC. The facilities for plugging in s couple of instruments or other audio sources are there for when needed, and all in a compact unit to sit on the desk.
The only tiny issue I can think of is the lack of a power switch but apart from that, excellent!

Seems solid and well made, lacks an on/off power switch, would benefit from rubber feet to isolate and stabilise it. There is a slight hum on certain settings but all things considered a good compact mixer benefitting from USB compatibility and a very fair price.
