Stopped working after a year, showing coffee beans need filling up when it’s full. Followed instructions for this fault which didn’t work , completely cleaned machine but still no joy. It has been totally unpredictable for the whole year. Do not buy.

Thoroughly impressed so far. The machine is extremely simple and I love the self cleaning function. The only downside is that the water tray gets filled up quickly but we have a small glass underneath to pick up the self clean residue.
We have around 6 espressos per day and the coffee is consistent and at a high grind setting has a really good flavour. Yes this doesn’t have all the bells and whistles, but it makes a brilliant cup, which you can add hot water to. At this price, it’s brilliant value!

This is a fantastic bean to cup coffee machine, which makes excellent coffee with great crema.

It’s incredibly easy to use, and guilt free, as I’ve switched from capsule coffee.

This was my second Beko bean-to-cup machine. The first one (with the milk frothing wand) developed a problem after a couple of weeks where the “empty coffee grounds” sensor was stuck on and stopped the machine working.
I replaced with this one, without the frothing wand as a direct replacement was not available, and I hadn’t found the wand that easy to use.
This replacement machine is working fine so I am hoping its reliability is not a problem.

Assuming it continues to work well, it is doing a great job and is almost as easy to use as a pod machine.
The coffee grounds hopper requires emptying every 6-8 runs, but it is very easy to do.
It is a compact and attractive kitchen appliance, and I am pleased with the purchase at about half the price of the similar Neff machine.

My 4 star rating is due to the fact the first one was a problem and it is too early to tell if the replacement will be reliable.
    Fingers crossed.

I had a DeLonghi bean-to-cup machine for 3 years but it failed. I tried a simple espresso machine but had two duds (not from Amazon). The experience was enough to tell me that I wanted another bean-to-cup machine.

This looks rather nicer than the DeLonghi, and the coffee is as good. It isn’t as good as a proper barista-made espresso, but it’s as good as the sort of espresso you get in cafs. (I have an informal rating system, where 5 is the top and 1 is just drinkable. This machine produces grade 4 coffee, which is still pretty good.)

It’s simple to use and I think it looks good (something I don’t normally associate with Beko!).

Very pleased with this purchase and service. Only problem is now I probably drink too much coffee in the day.

Very pleased with this coffee machine. It’s very easy to use and the flavour obviously depends on the coffee beans. Sometimes the machine asks for the coffee ground holder to be emptied when it doesn’t need to be, but that is my only complaint.

I’ve used aeropress for about a year or I walk 400 yards to pay a couple of quid for a Costa espresso, this machine is changes this.
First cup, large espresso, finest setting and the crema looks amazing and the taste is sublime.
Only got this machine today, got home from work and set it up, within ten minutes I’m sipping a perfect espresso, better than anything I’ve had before(I’m no expert).
    Can’t recommend this enough.
    More than satisfied.

Its easy and simple to use. Takes few times to adjust the right amount of water for a perfect cup of coffee.
The only drawback is that I drink more coffees now then before the purchase.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI wanted a reliable simple machine for making espressos and this is perfect, one touch for single and double espressos. You can program the volume of water for each button which it remembers for next time. Make sure to select good coffee beans and adjust the grind to your preference, make 5/6 espressos and adjust the volume/grind accordingly. Machine also has a little light at the dispense head which is a nice touch. Note that the machine has a self clean before operation and sometimes after operation, I keep a little bowl under the dispenser so I’m not caught ou

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have just received my new Beko coffee machine and I am well chuffed. I am a big lover of strong black coffee and was sad when my Nespresso machine died. After a quick search online I was surprised to find I could get a bean to cup machine for not much more money.
It was really simple to set up and the controls were intuitive. My first espresso was on the weak side, but after adjusting the grind coarseness my second cup was spot on. It manages to combine the simplicity of a pod coffee machine with the flavour of a barista made espresso. For black coffee drinkers this really is the best value machine on the marke

Bought as a Father’s Day present looks great and makes great coffee.

Easy to use quite loud but that’s to be expected

I like this machine. I was pleased to be able to find a coffee machine which does not cater for capuccino drinkers. The adjustments were straight forward – strength of coffee, size of cup, automatic off. But from time to time the symbol flashes to say that the coffee bean drawer is empty. No! It’s not, I just filled it! Similarly the symbol flashes to ask me to empty the dregs drawer/tray. No! It is already empty.
Another point is that it has been impossible to register my purchase … the machine does not feature in the scroll down list and phoning? Frustrating …

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI bought this to replace a 600 melitta machine and i have to say im extremely happy! It has some nice features that the Melitta didnt – it has an airtight seal on the bean hopper, a great size tank and an adjustable burr grinder that is much quieter than the Melitta. It also has a handy light that shines into the cup as its brewing. I used a light roast arabica bean on a medium fine grind to try it out and it was an excellent cup of coffee. It looks great too. A quick google search shows this model selling as high as 399 (on 24/04/21) so this is a real find ar 219. The quality of everything is very high, even the way its packed. There is a cleaning brush, polishing cloth and 3 sachets of decalcifying cleaner included in the box. Happ happ happy!

Golden Review Award: 34 From Our UsersSo this was ordered as an emergency stop-gap after our venerable 11 year old Delonghi bean to cup machine blew up. Suspecting that this might be terminal, and because early morning coffee is pretty much the one vice I cant function without, I immediately looked to see what cheapish replacement machines were available. My old unit was pretty much a top of the range model, and just right now I cant run to that many hundreds of pounds, so this Beko, with it’s elegant minimalist looks, and budget price got the gig.

To be honest I wasnt expecting the moon, and overall I’ve been very pleasantly surprised by what I got.

So good points, 1. If you spend a bit of time fiddling with the grinder control, and programming the quantity of water dispensed, you can eventually get a fairly reasonable cup of medium strength coffee from it. 2. Its compact and super easy to use. 3. It looks the bit!

Not so good. 1. The instructions are very minimalist, which perhaps explains why one reviewer on here, who only gave it one star, spectacularly missed the fact that the quantity button is PROGRAMMABLE – so NO YOU DO NOT have to stand there and keep pressing the button, as she quite erroneously stated!

The instructions are terse and brief – but with this machine YOU really DO need to read them guys! It’s very minimalist in it’s approach and so to get the best out of it one has to use the programming ability to get a decent result. Anyone skipping the manual will get very mediocre results, and will miss the best that this little beastie can achieve.

What you have to do is, on the first dispense, press and HOLD the button untill you have the quantity of liquid you want in the cup. Then release the button – the machine bleeps – and after that the machine will always dispense that amount of coffee on that button. There are two buttons and both can be programmed independently, but of course the strength may well be completely rubbish at the point…

    2. My old machine had a control which allowed some degree of adjustement to the extraction time and quantity of ground coffee used – this one doesnt – so if you want stronger coffee, the only way is to adjust the grind to a finer level. Similarly if you want it weaker then make it more coarse. This can be a bit fiddly, but it does work. After a couple of goes I managed to get about the right strength and quantity.

So overall this is a basic budget machine, which can take a bit of skill to set up properly, but then produces pretty reasonable results. No it’s not going to stun you if you are a coffee perfectionist, but its a deal better than the pod machines. So bearing in mind the price – which is half what you would pay for a more sophisticated bean to cup device – this does merit the full five stars as a VALUE for money BUDGET option.

In the end it turned out my old Delonghi is repairable, so this BEKO will now eventually become the ultimate luxury of bedside machine – where it’s super compact size will be put to even better effect.

So yes – if you need a decent budget solution to a coffee supply problem, I can entirely recommend it.

Easy to use. Great smells and flavours. Delighted so far. Re Magdelena’s point it’s not correct. You only have to push and hold buttons to set the volume of liquid you want for short or long espressos. It pays to read the instructions even though it’s fairly easy to use. Same regarding the fineness of the grind to get the flavour you want.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI chose this coffee machine as I just wanted a simple bean to cup machine without a milk frother or other fancy features … its got a good grind, my previous machine made it too course and therefor not getting the best out of it.
I’ve used several different beans but always go back to Lavazza Crema e Aroma Coffee Beans Espresso, 1 Kg which can also be purchased through amazon.
There’s only a couple of settings on this … strength and cup size … set these and your are made … my preference is a big cup with an extra small cup shot and this works great … good strong coffee!

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersThis is 3rd in Which’s Best Bean to Cup Machines of 2019 and it lives up to that review. It is a fantastic machine that makes superb coffee. It’s basic andnonly makes Espresso but most of the time that is all we want. You can control the water volume to get the taste right and the machine has two strength settings. I use the strong setting and adjust the taste with water volume. The machine is extremely well built. It has a grounds container that actually ‘contains’ the grounds, an adjustable liquid dispenser and a good drip tray. The water container holds about 1.5 litres of water (too small really) and bean hopper just under 200g. You can just about jam a packet into it but don’t expect to close the lid properly. Ideally it will take ~170g of beans. It is also very quiet, even the grinding process and it dispenses coffee quickly (around 30 seconds from grinding) or around 60 seconds from start up. Only issue is the pressure sensitive buttons are easy to jog when reaching over and can cause you to prematurely end a brew and waste the beans. A really nice machine and a genuine bargain at a smidge over 245 quid.

In terms of I bought it from (BOS) it was despatched and arrived very quickly.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersPros: The machine has a sleek and sophisticated appearance and operation. Unlike the other machine in similar price range, the self cleaning occurs when the machine is turned on/off, and not after every cup, which is more convenient. The machine is compact and occupies less space. You may be able to program the machine to deliver exactly how much drink you want in each cup.

Cons: In comparison to the other Beko machine available for similar price, this machine doesnt have any milk related features. There are fewer type of coffee functions than the other model. The instruction manual is not thorough enough in covering the details of the machine.
