It does the job for a value price. Nice finish – real metal. Smaller than stated which was a very pleasant surprise. However I did not like the taste of the coffee and, tbh, isn’t that the whole point? yes I did try various beans and grinds. Like most appliances these days no decent instructions so I watched a few youtube viseos and read a load of reviews. Had to return it due to the fact that I was not enjoying the coffee output. Gone back to Nespresso for now but still open to try bean-to-cup in the future.

This coffee machine has the same build quality as the SMEG, we sent the SMEG back and thought we would try this one as a replacement and it appears to be the same machine in a different package. Nice build quality, solid so lets hope this one lasts now. Time will tell but really nice piece of kit and makes excellent been to cup coffee.

Very simple to use and limited moving parts. Easy to change to your preferences. The simplicity may not be everyones preference and I do think the logo on the front is horrible !

Simple, good looking coffee machine. It’s quiet basic with 2 sizes of coffee, but can be personalised. I love mine!

My first one developed a fault, where I think the tube inside the spout came unattached. Sent a replacement quickly from Amazon, although they tried to get me to go to the Beko first!
Love the machine! READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL AND WATCH VIDEOS ONLINE. Most negative reviews here are becuase people have not set them up properly!
Great coffee at a great price – whats not to love?

The Machine itself is great. I’m now able to produce lattes as good as Costa. However, I had to work hard to understand how to produce a cup of coffee. The big draw-back is in the user instructions. Like most manufacturers today their aim is to get their products approved as quickly as possible and into the marketplace. Sadly, user instructions tend to take second place to this. This booklet is typical of a boffin writing instructions for a boffin, not for the likes of you and me. It needs someone who knows how to write user-friendly instructions. Leave the technical stuff to the boffins. All I want to know is how to get the coffee machine to make me a good cup of coffee and easily. This booklet failed to do this. I highly recommend the machine itself. It’s probably as good as the dearer ones. I would give 5 stars for the machine itself, but only three overall because of the user instructions issue.

Does what it says on the tin, very easy to use self cleaning and once you get the hang of how you like your coffee, the steam wand takes a bit of getting used to sometimes I just tend to slightly heat the milk for 30 seconds in the microwave can’t make any fancy patterns on the top of the coffee but who cares, the coffee taste good!. I was looking at the Smeg was almost similar but more prettier to look at but another 400 more I’m glad I went with this one

Little bit more fiddly than old machine but produces an excellent coffee so well worth it. Looks good, coffee tastes good, whats not to like?

A nicely designed compact unit, looks good in my kitchen. The downside is that it needs cleaning and emptying regularly because it’s smaller than most devices but it’s a good habit. Easy to use, nice ways to tweak the grind and water to get a perfect cup. The auto clean is great too. Much better than my larger and more expensive premium brand coffee maker.

I love coffee and wanted a bean to cup machine. This one ticks all the boxes. Great coffee, easy to use and clean, from an elegant and stylish machine.

Works great! More silent than a DeLonghi some friends own. Makes a great coffee and a great cappuccino, but make sure you read the manual before you try your first cappuccino. It requires some skills.
The machine tells you when you need to add water, coffee, clean it and discale it, so no worries whatsoever.

Great coffee machine for narrow spaces!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersLove this machine. Simple clean look, easy to use, makes great crema on the espresso and steam wand makes good latte/cappuccino. Self cleaning. Doesn’t take up much space but could depend on your space to work with. Obviously bigger than a nespresso machine but smaller than most bean to cup machines. Doesn’t have all the buttons like some machines to change every detail but personally I prefer that, I’m not the type of person who spends a lot of time fiddling around changing coffee tastes, I prefer to just change beans and grind and get a quicker outcome.
Some people have mentioned it doesn’t make hot enough coffee but I disagree it’s perfect drinking temp. They’ve also said steam wand doesn’t work correctly but I think they may have misread the instructions or have a broken machine. I purchased mine through warehouse and it’s been perfect.

We had a problem that stopped the machine working. Calling Beko’s customer services was a total waste of time. They were unhelpful and indifferent to the problem. It was easily resolved by a friend who is an appliance engineer. The user guide provided with the machine is useless.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI’ve had a bean-to-cup machine before – an expensive and faffy one that had way too many variables – but it conked out after a couple of years and I’ve been using pod machines ever since. My son did the maths the other day and declared we spend 40 a month on pods, so we should buy another bean-to-cup machine for the purposes of both economy and better coffee. So my quest began
I discovered this Beko machine and was immediately taken by its simple, sleek look. The product video was brilliant and showed me everything I needed to know about it. It makes great coffee. It steams milk. It cleans itself. It switches itself off. Ok, so you can’t adjust the strength of the coffee to the nth degree (thank god, or I’d be forever fiddling with it), but you can use different beans, or blend your favorites together. You get either a single shot short espresso or a single shot longer espresso. I have 2x single espressos (push the small cup button x 2), with a little steamed/warmed cream. Lovely.
I’ll have recouped the cost of it in money saved on pods within 6 months too.
Oh, and it puts a little spotlight on your cup when brewing your coffee, like it’s saying “Ta-dah, here it comes!”
    Love it. Brilliant machine.

Small compact coffee machine with all features you need. Makes very nice espresso. I is easy to use and set up. I can’t review steamer, my was faulty, but thank to Amazon sorted out with no issues. If you’re looking for value small coffee machine and you don’t mind to make frothed milk by yourself, it could be your choice.

I love this coffee machine! It’s so simple to use and it makes a great coffee. The only thing I’ve yet to test on it is the self-cleaning function but everything else that I’ve done with it works great.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI was looking for a new bean to cup machine because my old one was getting a bit unreliable. I wanted one that just made simple uncomplicated coffee without offering loads of options I would never use. This one gives you ‘small’ or ‘big’ espressos (the latter can be customised to give you a mugful if you want) and has a milk frother attachment as well. I found three possibles on Amazon – a premium brand, a middle priced one and this one from Beko. Looking closer at the specs and referring back to the manufacturers websites, I found that they seem to be very, very similar. This Beko was over 100 cheaper than the premium brand, so I saved my money and bought this one. It is well made and really compact and, what’s more, really easy to use. I can only compare it to my previous machine but it gives me everything that did in half the size. And it’s so very easy to keep clean both inside and out. It ain’t what you would call quiet but it makes a good cup of coffee without making a fuss about it. Once you get over the surprise that a washing machine manufacturer makes a good bean to cup coffee maker, you will be pleased if you choose this to start your day.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersVery happy with this in general. Great coffee and a small form factor, doesn’t have all the nonsense people who simply want coffee never use.
Only criticism is the grounds collection. The tray collects water which makes emptying messy and water comes out of that area into the work surface when emptying. Despite that I would recommend against the opposition.

Love it! Perfect cappuccino for one. I did research and it paid off. Love trying new beans. It’s easy to keep clean. Not done a big clean yet but sounds easy enough

This was requested as a gift. I did not know much about them, but this appeared to work eventually. Appears you have to switch it off after you have first switched it on to make it kick onto the cleaning sequence.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersCan’t say its makes perfect coffee all the time as thats down to the beans! However when I have my perfect beans it’s heaven. I had a Krupps initially but after a few weeks the steamer stopped wortking and I had to send back, bought this a a replacement and so glad I did. Takes practice getting the milk right, but now a pro.

Bonus is the easy clean and being to remove the innards for cleaning too.

    would highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 29 From Our UsersI spent 6 months researching coffee machines, until I settled on this one. Did not buy it for its cost, but for its simplicity. I’m a bit confused by some of the reviews of this machine on Amazon. People have said it’s a bit delicate / brittle and that the brewer gets stuck in an odd position … I’m not finding any of that. I use my machine as a general coffee machine everyday. I don’t use it as an expreso machine to make small cups, I actually make around 8 mugs of coffee per day between two people, giving each mug two shots of coffee – and it’s amazing. I’m a bit of a coffee snob, and I’ve tried 10 different coffee beans from around the world, to properly trail the machine, and I’ve settled on a dark roast. I don’t use the milk steamer, and only bought the one with the milk steamer, as amazon was out of stock of the “non milk steamer” version. I did try the milk steamer, and it’s a but useless to be honest – keeps shutting off for no reason, leaving lukewarm milk … but I had no intention of using it anyway. I’d say to anyone just wanting a nice mug of fresh coffee or expresso, get strong flavoured beans, and give it two shots, and it creates a superb taste. 100% recommend this machine, and welcome any questions.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOverall a great machine for the price, blows Nespresso pods out the water (hate those things). A compact machine with stylish appearance that looks great on the counter top. Currently using a medium roast Starbucks bean, but think I need to get the dark roast espresso blend next time to make the espresso stronger of flavour. The hot water function is handy, It’s so quick and easy now to make my morning americano!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAmazing for the price. We spent ages looking g for a streamline bean to cup machine and this does the job perfectly. If being picky I’d say we can’t get to grips with setting how much coffee we want but it’s no hassle to do it manually select the amount each time.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersGreat contemporary design but more importantly its produces a really great espresso. The attention to detail of the packaging is impressive and completely protects the coffee machine in transit. My household were using up to 40 Nespresso capsules per week. No more plastic going to landfill now and we are saving money every week as beans are cheaper. This machine will pay for itself within 12 months. Great investment.
