Highly recommend, perfect for dog owners.
This was very easy to set up (less than 5 minutes). The build quality appears very good and a well built / sturdy unit.
I wish I had taken before and after pictures, wow!. It’s amazing. We have a dog and I thought the carpets looked visually clean, how wrong I was!. This cleaned them amazing, the water was so dark I cleaned it another two times.
Very easy to complete a deep clean, so much dog hair come up and it was also so easy to clean the machine after use. The double bushed bottom really did it’s job!.
Attachment worked very well as well, cleaned the office chair down after all the carpets.

Powerful Carpet Cleane
This carpet cleaner is really powerful and easy to operate and clean up after use.
Its weight is a bit heavy and hard to move up and down the stairs when the tank is filled up with diluted detergent. And it would be great if the selling price can be reduced to a comparative and affordable rate.

Excellent carpet shampooe
Excellent carpet shampooer, my wife is very pleased with it and has already cleaned all the carpets in the house. It has been easy to use. When we first used it we were walking the machine too slowly with the trigger on which made the carpet very wet and taking longer to dry. You have to follow the instructions. We haven’t tried it on the stairs yet. The only problem so far is that the front cover keeps lifting up and has to be pushed down into position but we think that is because the machine is picking up too much fluff from the carpets which had not been cleaned in years.

Embarrassed at the muck removed!
After a lifetime of gadgets I know I must take a while to read the instructions unlike when I was younger and more impatient. It is quite a complicated bit of kit, having never used one before, but I soon got the hang of it and was very pleased with the results. There was quite a lot of cleaning the machine after using, but with our dog aging badly I will be using it a lot. Only used on IKEA rugs, but they came up like new and one is nearly 10 years old. Building myself up to do the stairs and timing it so they dry. 30 mins was a bit optimistic, even with this mini heatwave.

Easy to clean the machine itself
I have owned a variety of carpet cleaners and I find this one to be the easiest to use and keep clean. The Machine has three options for cleaning the carpets from light to deep. The upholstery attachment is very good and better at the job than other machines I have owned. I look after an old pet who has accidents so need to clean frequently, this machine does the job. It has good suction power. My favourite thing about it is the easy access to the brushes to remove pet hair, carpet fibres and general detritus ! It is as easy to store as a normal upright vacuum cleaner.

Using the pet pre-treatment along with the pet stain and odour cleaner with this carpet cleaner has FINALLY removed the smells from the carpet. I’m actually amazed? I thought I would have to replace the whole thing as nothing else has worked but it actually cleaned it flawlessly! Really very impressed with this machine. I have two dogs and a pale hall carpet: over time, some rather hideous stains had built up and I’ve tried several products to try to get rid of them (the stains, not the dogs!). All with very little success. I’ve also had the carpet ‘professionally’ cleaned, and that helped a bit, but there were still vestiges of some of the stains left.
First sweep with this machine – all stains gone! Seriously! I couldn’t really believe it and kept thinking ‘I’m sure I’ll have to have another go to really get them out’, but no: literally 5 minutes work and my carpets look brand new. For the price, this is a bargain.
As others have said, it’s not a light machine so for anyone with strength concerns, do be careful especially if you need to use it upstairs. It’s also quite noisy, but I guess that’s a good thing because it indicates a powerful motor. And it’s very easy to use: no awkward pulling on the water tanks. And my goodness, the dirty water tank was FILTHY!
My only hope is that this machine is a ‘laster’ and doesn’t conk out after a few uses. We shall see. If it continues to provide good service for a few years, I couldn’t hesitate in recommending it as a very effective carpet cleane

we purchased a vacuum cleaner, as we have 5 dogs, the vacuum cleaner is wonderful washing, powerful !! the truth is, you need to clean it more often, so that everything is cleaned, sucked in and no lumps of hair remain on the floor.

Very effective carpet cleane
We have a well lived in home, 6 adults and 3 dogs. Many times in the past we have hired a “Rug Doctor” carpet cleaner, but given frequency of hiring, it was not a good investment and so looked to purchase a carpet cleaner outright. The Bissell comes highly rated and it certainly lives up to that reputation. We have had this cleaner now 3 months and we would say it out performs the rug doctor in both cleaning effectiveness (absolutely amazed how it removes mark’s and stains, leaving carpets smelling fresh), its ease of use (very simple to add cleaning agent and empty the waste water tank) and it is lightweight, so easy to manoeuvre. The BIssell will need emptying/topping up more frequently than a Rug Doctor (which a large and heavy machines) but given its half the price of the Rug Doctor, and has such excellent performance, that is a a very minor issue.
Love my Bissell
Having two mud loving dogs we needed a system to get our carpets cleaned in a regular basis. The amount of dirt it gets out of the carpet and sofa’s is astonishing, used it on the car seats and for great results. The brushes will show you just how poor your vacuum is at removing ingrained dirt and hairs, this put to shame both our dyson DC01 and shark hoover we recently bought.

Bought this to clean carpets and matts throughout the house. Bissell have done a great job with this cleaner imho. Easy to set up, easy to use and does a great job cleaning carpets. Its sturdy so not particularly light but I didn’t find it an issue. I would recommend this carpet cleaner without hesitation.
Great...but take care with berber carpets
This is great on the several large rugs I own.Have a dog and they have all come up brilliantly and smell great.Very easy to use and put together.Was up and running in less than 20 minutes Buy a full size bottle of carpet cleaner when you get it as the samples don’t last long The pet one is great.Haven’t given it 5 stars as in the instructions it mentions berber carpet and being careful with the weave. I have berber carpet throughout the upstairs of my house.Did a small patch on deep clean and the weave went fluffy and clumps of fibre came up.Has settled down a bit now dry but I would be wary using it on the rest of my carpet.Have used the popular rental on these carpets and this did not happen.Bought for the doggy rugs so happy to keep but if you have these carpets think twice if you need a deep clean.Have a rug with a smooth pile and it has come up like new so great for normal carpet.
Easy to use and clean afte
Right out of the box easy to build only 1 screw. Fill the tank and off you go! Easy to clean comes apart easily. Only 1 complaint. The front panel which sucks up the liquid pops off very easily with just a slight bump. Easy to put on but a bit annoying. would give 4.5 with only this for the reason not giving 5. Has cleaned some very dirty carpets with nasty stains very well. A 4 labrador dog home!!!!!!
TLDR: you need this if you have a child and a dog!
Can’t believe it took me so long to buy this! It is really easy to use – put it on deep clean, pull the trigger for one pass backwards and forwards and then go forwards and backwards to suck it back up again. You do have to refill the tank frequently if youre doing a normal sized room and definitely buy a big bottle of formula – the small testers they give you are not enough for a few carpets. Was going to get carpets in our new house professionally cleaned but bought this to try first. Now I’m addicted! The filth that came out will make you heave. We had to fully clean the machine out after cleaning each room but I presume that’s because they were so dirty and clogged with dog hair. It’s really easy to take the parts apart and the cleaning tool is disgusting but great fun. No comments on longevity but initially it’s love!

The “express ” clean took at least three hours to dry and the max about 24 hours.
Had to lay down old towels where we had to walk.
So a little more honesty in the write ups would be good.
Uses a hell of a lot of liquid on max clean but well worth it.
Easy to assemble.
Instructions are not brilliant.
Only diagrams with no written instructions at all.
Having said that its all pretty self explanatory.
The little tool for cleaning the brushes is quite good but the machine is not well designed for the brush cleaning after use.
Had to use my fingers to disentangle some hair that tends to wrap itself around the very ends of the brushes.
Took us longer to clean the machine than the actual carpets.
But really didn’t mind as the cleaning is so excellent.
Overall I’m very impressed. The actual gleaning ability is first rate. We will get very good use out of this machine.

I had a minor problem with mine. The dirty water tank was leaking from the base. There were no signs of damage nor any reason i could see for the leak. I contacted Bissell customer service and after sending them a copy of my invoice, they sent a new dirty water tank which works perfectly.

We Hoover our carpets everyday because our long haired dog malts a lot! So we were pretty shocked to see just how much dog hair and grime this machine picked up! Easy to use and absolutely gets the job done. Highly recommend to pet owners and definitely worth the extra Bob or two we paid for it!

It worked but made the machine so noisy I had to wear ear plugs. What a simple feature for Bissell to have overlooked – the use of the hose should clearly stop the brushes turning.

By far a great carpet cleaner, I used a competitor cleaner and this is by far superior, I used the deep clean function on my cream carpets, moving into my new house i couldn’t help but accidentally incur a few stains, everything from curry, varnish, muck, blood, irn-bru & red wine all came out without a hassle (the blood was a accident am not a murderer) go slowly over the stains and they’ll come out brand new, the tank is quite big you can easily complete a medium sized living room on deep clean in one tank, carpets were dry in about 30min with the hearing on in the house, that might have helped, compare to the competitor I used which was hrs.. ain’t missing that one the only downside is the noise it makes, makes your ears go deafening, once you turn it off your ears pop it’s that loud but it’s great at what it says it’s meant to do.. so thumbs up from me
BRILLIANT WHEN IT WORKS
BRILLIANT WHEN IT WORKS. Just need to be careful as the bristles are quite strong and can damage more delicate carpets (much to my dismay). Best performance noted from taking the suction assembly off the washer and rinsing the carpet with the reconstituted solution (working the shampoo into the carpet). Let it sit for about 10 to 15 mins. Then fill tank with clean warm water attach the suction assembly back on and do a forward pass with trigger pressed to release water and depress on return (go slower on return to pickup as much water as possible) so it sucks up all the solution and any remaining water. Use bissel detergent as its the best out there.
Although this method calls for a very wet wash and longer drying (24hours) carpets turn out like new. For tougher stains may need a second go over.
However test inconspicuous area on your carpet first to ensure it does not damage it!

It cleans much better than our old Vax. Removes stains easily and makes rooms smell clean and fresh. Carpets look bright, feel plush and smell lovely.
A bit fiddly to clean after use but otherwise no issues.
I use only the Bissell cleaning liquids which are regularly on offer through the Bissell website.

Size, is ok the upright is your standard size and can be a tad heavy for your petite users but manageable.
Cleaning, this cleaner is perfect, with 3 functions it cleans filthy carpets with ease, even pur furniture got the good news.
Noise, sounding a bit like a jet engine it’s a loud beast, compared to other cleaners however it’s about the same in volume.
The reservoir holds a healthy amount of clean water, the waist water however fills up too quickly. You will have to empty it twice before refilling the clean water which can be a tad bit annoying.
Cleaning stairs or anything you need the attachment for is my only gripe, with the floor getting wet with the waist water under the machine and the rollers activating scuffing the floor or carpet.

Amazing machine! I’ve literally had it a couple months and tested it on every carpet and sofa in my home. Works brilliantly, the fact you can easily clean the brushes and remove practically everything to keep it clean is great! I have always used this with the bissel products which aren’t the cheapest but work amazing! I would definitely recommend

I ordered a similar, cheaper machine from another brand earlier this week but after 15 mins use it succumbed to what seems to be a common issue of leaking! I returned it – & instead went for the more pricey Bissell Pet Pro, and WOW. The photo is just 2 lines shampoo’d in a heavy footfall area of my house.

A must have item at home
Got a large house with lots of carpet. Don’t have pet but child. Read lots of review about carpet cleaner and it ended to pick up this one. It works really well by removing dirt and hidden dust away from the carpet. The solution combined with hot water from tap makes the carpet fresh again. Used deep clean for heavy traffic areas whereas express clean for room with less access. Carpet dried about 2 days but it wouldn’t affect walking on when wet.
It was very easy to use, similar to hover. However, it is a bit heavy to move between floors even with two tanks empty. Cable is long enough so you don’t need to frequently change the socket.
Effective is excellent but you need to have several passes in a cross pattern. The waste water tank was completely dark due to dirty water.
In summary, highly recommended for those with a large portion of carpet coverage.
Completely brilliant clea
Absolutely fabulous cleaner. So easy to assemble, was up and running in 5 minutes. 3.7 litre cleaning port did my first hallway carpet, was quite grubby being the main entrance. Did the whole house ( all Axminster pale willow wool carpets) in 3 hours with 3 changes of detergent and very dirty water! Was touch dry in an hour as I used the dry run a couple of times. So easy to clean the machine afterwards, as all parts are easily detachable and accessible. Comes with a load of attachments, the pet one is brilliant ( but don’t use it directly on the pet ) and 3 bottles of cleaning solution including the oxy action for deeper cleaning. A great length of cord and accessory hose. A bargain for the price. 5 stars

Brilliant machine, after years of loyally using another brand, I opted for this and it’s done the best job out of them all.
Brought the carpets up very nicely and they were not too wet at all when using the middle setting.

This was a bit more money than some others on Amazon, but with two young kids and a dog we needed one that really done the job. This does!
It’s surprising (and a bit shocking) exactly how much muck and filth this sucks up, the results were impressive and on par with a professional rug doctor that can be hired from local stores. 3 settings from express to deep clean it has all bases covered from cleaning a minor spill to rejuvenating old dirty carpets. It’s easy to use and our carpets were bone dry within half an hour. The hose attachment for stairs, sofa, car interior is also easy to use.
The only slight negative I would say is it is fairly noisy but it probably needs to be to generate the cleaning power it has.
It’s quite straight forward to clean afterwards and comes with tools to get trapped hair from the rollers and head.
Beats the rug doctor deep clean model.

After having to read hundreds of reviews and specs I’ve decided on the PetPro. We had an old Vax that suddenly stopped sucking the water back and so needed a new one. First I started with the cleanest room and that’s the very first picture. It looks horrible that amount of dirt coming out of the carpet especially that that room was cleaned with our old machine a few months back. The picture does not show well but the living room carpet got renewed and all the rooms I’ve cleaned with it look refreshed and lovely.
The machine comes with some sample carpet shampoos that are enough to clean quite a few rooms. It also comes with a cleaner tool that removed the collected fluff super easily.
It is not lightweight when in operation but pushing and pulling back and forth on the carpet is as easy that my little boy can do it.
Definitely worth the money, I just would not go back to mg old one this makes a brilliantly clean carpet
Few things to look out for. Take care of the clean water tank, it empties quite quickly and as its heated it should never run without water. The other one is the dirty tank. It looks like there is plenty more space in there but when its about half way it actually stops sucking more water in to prevent the tank from overfilling. It is surprisingly lot of fluff coming in even right after hoovering, these should also be regularly removed as can prevent the machine from working properly.
Other than that, 100% recommended.

Got this as an exchange to replace a bulky and poorly designed carpet cleaner from another manufacturer which rightly ought to stick to making no-nonsense vacuum cleaners…
Pros:
—Easy to assemble out of the box.
—Low storage footprint.
—Attachment hose has all the nozzles integrated into the hose itself so no fiddly or leaky valves and swapping the attachment is simple and quick.
—clean and dirty water tanks are quick release and easy to fill, no disassembly of the main unit required! Both have carry handles however the clean water tank one may pose problems for those with weak or arthritic fingers.
—Easy to push about and maneuver
—power rotary brushes in the main unit
—hauls up tons of the water so the carpets dry quickly
—manufactured in partnership with a lot of mainstream domestic cleaning products so no difficulty sourcing more shampoo
—Actually left our twelve year old rental carpets sparkling!
—did not spray water up the wall.

Impressive power and cleaning
Whilst our carpet isn’t overly dirty, it does at times smell of our dogs. This cleaner gives a good deep clean and quickly removes those odours.
It’s easy to use, very powerful and does exactly what it says.
I had previously purchased a vax that leaked from the back. It was returned and replaced by this and its well built and no issues with water leakage.

My carpets came up and absolute treat with this and it was relatively easy to assemble and use. I’m very pleased that I can get this out and maintain my carpets from now on and really liked the fresh smell of the detergent. I’d highly recommend this product if you have pets. My two rabbits are housetrained relatively well and this helped clean a bit dirt and gathered up their hair really well!
I used my Bissell today for the first time …and WOW. I knew my carpets were dirty as they looked a bit grubby but I cannot believe the filth the cleaner extracted ! The picture is attached. It’s so god damn gross, but I am so I’m pressed.

I really like the ease of use of this carpet cleaner. I have 2 Bissel upright vacuum cleaners which have a strong suction and good brush action to lift the pile, so banked on the same being true for the carpet cleaner, and was pleased to discover that this was indeed the case.
I noted with curiosity that a full reservoir of water and carpet detergent didn’t clean as much carpet area as I thought it would – could be that my carpets are so dirty, or I was too liberal with dispensing the cleaning liquid.
The suction is very good and lifted a lot of dirt … I wasn’t surprised how much came out and I suspect there is much more to lift out – I live on a farm and muddy shoes come straight in to the house, as well as 4 footed and 2 footed pets and other animals too! :- )
It is the first time in 9 years the carpets are being cleaned and I am very pleased with the clean result.
What I love about having this carpet cleaner is that I can use it to clean small patches at a time as and when I feel like doing so. It is quick and easy to get cleaning. My elderly parent lives with us and who frequently spills various liquids and food, so this will make spot cleaning a breeze.
My husband put the machine together and was annoyed at the lack of clarity in the assembly diagrams. It was finally completed, and I couldn’t wait to use it. It took me a while to find the on off switch despite looking at the instructions. It is the red button on the left side about half way down and it needs depressing to switch on and off! :- )
The other aspect which I would suggest Bissel design engineers look at is redesigning the front plate cover over the brushes as carpet lint gets stuck in there and it is very difficult and awkward to remove the lint, even with the lint remover tool (long thin flat plastic with “teeth” at the end of it..almost like a comb).
I am looking forward to using it on our car seats, our fabric headboard, our dining chair seats, and more.
Overall I am satisfied with the convenience it provides, and it will quickly pay for itself (don’t need to hire a machine or a professional and can take my time).
CARPET CLEANER
WOW, WOW, WOW! Our elderly dog has been poorly this week and we had to make the decision to hire an industrial cleaner or buy a GOOD carpet cleaner. Not disappointed we purchased the BISSELL. Started in the home office, despite regular hoovering, surprised how much dirt was extracted. Moved on to the bedroom where the carpet is relatively new and again given a new lease of life. And everything smells amazing. Easy to assemble, clear instructions on how to use and also easy to dismantle to clean. Saved a fortune
My sons two very large dogs arrived with him at the end of August, and due to relationship breakdown, the dogs and he didn’t leave. One of the dogs had a monumental accident (or two, or three) one night and hit about every carpeted room in my home. This wasn’t just a straightforward accident. I have Merino wool carpet throughout!!!! You can’t imagine my horror and dismay at the problem I was confronted with. For years I’ve had a professional carpet cleaner come to my home at least once a year – he had recently visited 🙁 I ordered the Bissell and was relieved at the results. It took about 4 cleans and there’s still some staining to be sorted (hopefully) but the carpet cleaner was not only easy to assemble and use but effective.

At last, Bissell have switched to having one clear view tank for clean and another for dirty water. You can now see when one is full and the other empty. With the old model you simply ran out of solution and could easily frustratingly attempt to do a few square metres of carpet without ever realising the clean water tank was dry. The previous model would also horribly clog up with hair and fluff. The design of the new model is superior and you even get a flexible tool to clean out the head. The tools also come in a freestanding bag. The old design tried to integrate them at all times, which simply added to weight and their bulk caused problems when manouvering around obstructions. Overall, a much improved design and thats why I give it five stars as the old model wasn’t bad, but this is much better.

Had to write a review as I’m so pleased with this. Sad to think I can be so happy with a steam cleaner… I originally bought a Vax but it broke after second use and I’m so glad I looked around rather than replacing it. This is much lighter than the equivalent Vax, easier to use and very much easier to clean. It’s done a fantastic job on my carpets. I used the deep clean setting on an old rug and it practically sucked every loose thread out. Not as good on stairs but I suspect that is the case for all steam cleaners. Highly recommended.

Very efficient at cleaning dirty carpets.
We have 9 cats who are free to come and go as they please in any weather, and live in a bungalow with all surfaces carpeted except the kitchen and the bathroom. I used this product to thoroughly clean carpets in the lounge, dining room and bedroom. It made a brilliant job of cleaning all the carpets and I was particularly impressed with the twin rotors.

great machine, purchased as a replacement for older style Bissell. this has better suction and is much more user friendly, better with two tanks. only downside is that cleaning product goes in with hot clean water, if not all used can be wasteful. i save the unused clean water & mix to use next time, seems to work ok and saves waste. like previous machine it is quite heavy so can be a struggle getting upstairs ( I am 70).hose is now separate from machine, I’ve not made my mind up to weather this is beer or worse and I haven’t had much occasion to use it.

I use this on rugs and fitted carpets. It is easy to use and, being much lighter than my previous Vax, not such hard work. I am glad I bought it.
Great Cleane
I have been through the whole house and the carpets came up like new, feel great under bare feet. I bought this version because the slightly dearer one did not have an extension for the stairs. I had a Vax many years ago and was so put off, it has taken 30 years for me to buy another. Great Cleane
I have been through the whole house and the carpets came up like new, feel great under bare feet. I bought this version because the slightly dearer one did not have an extension for the stairs. I had a Vax many years ago and was so put off, it has taken 30 years for me to buy another. I was led by Lakeland which was only selling the Bissell and as I have full trust in that company, I went for this and have not been let down.
It just does the job- no mess, no hassle.
This has to be one of my best purchases in the last couple of years. I am so impressed with it, and wish I had bought one ages ago. I am maybe a bit quick off the mark writing a review, because I haven’t tried the tools that come with it yet, but I have no reason to suppose they will let me down. I haven’t found any bad points yet, apart from I struggle a bit replacing the dirty water tank after I’ve emptied it and it takes several attempts, but that may jusst be down to me. Over all I am delighted with it, and my carpets and rugs are all having a new lease of life!

This amazing cleaner was bought for my Mothers house, she has very pale carpets which were in dire need of cleaning, the carpets were not old but due to illness there had been increasing amounts of traffic as nurses and carers can’t take their shoes off for health and safety reasons. Wonderful results
Great carpet cleaner leaving the carpet virtually dry. The only downside is that it is very heavy if you need to get it up or down stairs
The Bissell pro heat 2x is best item I have bought in a long time. It’s so easy to use and has different cleaning tools. It comes apart so easy to clean and take apart that it reminds me of LEGO. Even the toughest stains and smells can be removed! Solid and strong and ideal for hairy pets. You can clean every piece of hair out of this product due to the design. I have never been so amazed by a product especially when I had a few Vax products that didn’t last for more than a year. Sorry Vax you ripped me off and I had my receipt on my faulty products not once but twice because I didn’t register my product. But what I can thank you for is getting me to shop somewhere else that I found a great product!!! With no burnt out motor or smoky motor that we couldn’t used. Thank you Bissell because I love your product. Keep my money Vax you seem to need it. Bissell you are most definitely are the Best!!!
This replaced a Vax, which broke after 2 months and Vax don’t do replacement belts for their newest model(?)
Well apart from wasting money on ^^, I’m so glad I bought this Bissell pet friendly model. Its so well thought out, the parts that need cleaning after each use simply clip off and back on again, the clean and dirty water reservoirs are easy to install, clean and replace, and most importantly, it cleans the carpets to an amazing level, I wish I’d got a photo to add, cos it’s hard to believe it, it was so noticable that the 2nd carpet I cleaned, I did half then showed my (adult) kids, I was so impressed (well it was during lockdown, we had to make our own entertainment )
If I could give it 10 stars I would, and if you’re struggling to choose between Vax or anything else, get this!
Edit: I have 2 pups and have to clean the carpets regularly, so last time I them I remembered to take photos just to show how good it is and how much dirt it lifts, note, I clean my carpets regularly, I hope these show how good it is.

I used it first time without hot water and ran it up and down like a vacuum cleaner. Def needs warmer water and slow and steady. The attachment tools are great. I used the stair attachments to get right into the skirting boards – with 2 dogs could never get these cleaned quite enough. Lifted the hairs as well as cleaning brilliantly and bringing back lift to the carpet.

Having the opportunity to compare this with the equivalent (although more expensive) Vax, I can say that this is a far superior machine in all respects. It is so much easier to clean after use, it comes with accessories, build quality is on a different level and it is quieter (but still quite noisy). They have broadly similar cleaning performance so that is not a factor. I suspect that results nay be largely dependent on the cleaning solution – we use the Bissel shampoo which is very effective although a tad pricey. Drying time will obviously be affected by the setting used and the number of ‘wet’ passes; we found that a medium-pile carpet, cleaned with the middle setting and only two passes, was more or less dry within 4 hours in an unheated but ventilated room on a cold, late September day. Would I recommend this machine? Most certainly.

The quick wash function works for freshening up, and does dry within about 30 mins, as it uses very little water. The deep clean function is very good leaves the carpet spotless, however it does take hours to dry. Alot of unseen dog hair does come out when you empty the tank, which is impressive. Quite a heavy machine but lighter than my previous one. The only real downside is the awful noise it makes, it is very loud, which is annoying. The clean water tank needs to be refilled often as its not very big, not a big problem but a shame.

Super cleaning powe
I bought this for a deep clean of our rented flats carpets.after two and a half years of my work boots,daily life taking its toll,and our cat back and forth,it was time for a deep clean.over a couple of days I gradually washed each rooms carpet.when my partner came home…she was impressed with the results.the machine was easy to use.on deep clean it uses considerably more water,so many empties and refills are required,depending on the state of your carpets of course.express clean uses less water,which is ideal if cleaned on a regular basis. You can literally see it sucking up the dirty water out of the carpet.not used it on any soft furnishings yet,but highly recommend this product.expensive ,but worth it.

Bought this machine as a replacement for my old 2008 Bissell carpet cleaner which had performed very well for many years but now the rubber seals had gone. I had cleaned some carpets with this old one before it packed up on me so next day delivery for the replacement was excellent. I re cleaned some of the carpets with the new one and it pulled out quite a bit of dirt the old one had missed. The machine is quite light compared to the old one and filling and emptying the tanks is really simple. It is also very easy to take to pieces to clean ( the old one was a nightmare).I have tried it today on an ivory carpet which has dirty track marks across it on the high traffic areas going from one door to the other. One tank of water and formula almost completed a 15 sq ft room on ‘deep clean’. It has dried within 3 hours and I have just vacuumed it. Excellent results on most of the carpet but the dirty track marks are still there, although significantly diminished. I have blame the quality of the shampoo rather than the Bissell for this as I could see lots of dirt being sucked up by the machine. I tried the cleaner on another carpet at the top of the stairs and it has cleaned this thoroughly, no dirty track marks at all. I suspect the ivory carpet is going to be a bit of a challenge so I might re do some of the heavily soiled areas again. With the ease of use and maintenance, I would thoroughly recommend this product.

Saved me a fortune
I’ve used vax, hoover and rug doctor cleaners for years. After hiring a rug doctor a few months back I decided that next time the carpet needs cleaning I would just replace it. We have had 2 kids and 2 dogs over the last few years and the carpet was starting to look shabby. You really noticed the difference when you moved the rug from the front of the log burner.
OK so you get the idea. Like you we try to keep our carpet clean but life takes its toll.
I decided before I bought the new carpet Id buy a nice lightweight carpet cleaner so that it would be more like to be cleaned regularly rather than needing deep clean every time it got too bad.
Read the reviews and took a punt on an amazon warehouse deal.
From the get go this felt like a well designed and well built machine. Cleaver accessories. Neat size. Powerful suction and easy to switch between a quick freshen up or a ultra deep clean.
I thought for practice I’d have a go at the old carpet before we replaced it. So glad I did. It took a good few tanks of water but by the time I’d finished the carpet looked half it’s age. I wont exaggerate, an 8 year old carpet will never look brand new, but wow. What a difference!
So thrilled with my results I did 3 bedrooms and the stairs and landing the following day.
I did even have cause to use the special jet spray function for stubborn stains. It’s a wee bit gimmicky, but if you are just freshening up a carpet and a small area needs a bit more attention it really does help.
Obviously time will be required to assess durability and long-term performance but initial impressions are all excellent.
I’d recommend this to anyone who wants to keep their home fresh and clean without having to replace their carpets every 5 years.
