Well what can I say here , lets start with if I could give this 10 stars I would. i have cleaned 2 cars and done out stairs and landing twice ( we were to have a new carpet fitted but not now ) It is nice and compact , easy to handle when doing cleaning , easy to fill and empty , very good dispensing of spray onto the job and a good powerful suction .
The construction and general build quality is good, someone said their cleaning head broke – advice here is just use it withe normal pressure , don,t lean on the head gentle pressure will scrub and draw water out. If it is very soiled spray and use a scrubbing brush to loosen dirt then clean using the machine .
I have attached 2 photos of our stair carpet , the bottom 4 steps were dirty , they had been brushed and hoovered but we thought time for new carpet , costing a fair bit , but I saw reviews of this little beast and gave it a go, no regrets its FANTASTIC so get one and save some money , the pipe is not too long , the entire unit is compact and very usable fits on a stair step perfectly , plenty of flex too . I have used other machines but this is SIMPLY THE BEST

I’ve had big, cumbersome Vax machines for years, wanted something portable and compact. This is perfect for small spaces and the water tank reveals the dirt hidden in the carpet that I’d just turned a blind eye to. Daren’t start on the car..
Does what it says, great little cleaner.
We have been having our bathroom stripped and renovated which has caused a lot of builders dust, I have put dust sheets down but the carpet at the top of the stairs and the stairs carpet is full of this dust, I have vacuumed it and gone down with a damp cloth periodically but decided to buy one of these carpet shampoos to clean the carpets once the job is finished. I tried it on a strip at the top of the stairs, it was great, really good, really pleased with purchase. I came to empty the dirty water unit and could not find how to empty it but after looking on You Tube, I found out how to do it. This machine could do with written explanations, there are photos in a book but I think written instructions would be useful. Do buy though, you wont be disappointed.
Really sucks up damp and moisture
Had a radiator leak so needed a good vaccum to get rid of the damp and the smell. An original vac won’t do that so this was the ideal solution. Now I use it on the carpets and rugs too. You can’t believe the amount of moisture in them all. And for a bloke who’s not into vaccuming much, it’s a win for me.
A Professional Clean!
This really is an excellent carpet washer! Very easy to set up, but the instructions are a little vague, so be careful. I watched a YouTube Video…..that nailed it! This carpet was filthy with a build up of pet dirt and back door traffic, and after 1 hour 30 minutes of deep cleaning, this is the result, IN MY OWN HOME. I would recommend this product unequivocally, and you do need a little muscle to use, or take longer and clean in stages with breaks…..that is my recommendation. Excellent value for money, not recommended for larger carpets, (except spot cleaning obviously). My carpet shown is around 6″ x 2″ (hallway carpet), and I did the whole area in stages, perfect results! Summing up, it really is an outstanding Spotclean, with great capacity to clean somewhat larger areas, and a completely non complicated set up and usage!

Greta product, used it on a soiled carpet and it brought it up lovely!! Would recommend for those who need to clean up any stains. Only used on carpet and some dining chairs so far but would recommend. Only downside, it is extremely loud! Ear plugs recommended.

Amazing powefull little machine
What a fantastic bit of equipment, we were going to throw our mats out but after using this they look brand new. 100% recommend, quite noisy but really does the job well.

This is an excellent product not just for emergency spills but for upholstery, dark carpet areas due tk heavy traffic. I would say 1mx1m is the target working area so don’t buy this as a room carpet cleaner but we have used it on our upholstery to great effect.
Worth the money
We have not long had a puppy and wanted to get this in case of any little accidents. It is so easy to get out and use quickly, the suction is powerful and the carpet is nearly dry afterwards. The dirty water you get out of the carpet will shock you.

Our son purchased one of these, we borrowed it and immediately had to get one for ourselves!! Amazing bit of kit, powerful suction and very easy to use. We have used it for sucking up water out of carpet tiles after a water leak and cleaned patches/marks on carpet. Very effective. Highly recommend

We own a Karcher Puzzi carpet cleaner which is a great bit of kit and cleans whole carpets and sofa’s really well. But for small spillages and stains it is a bit of a pain to bring out a big machine set it up and then use for a job that takes literally 5 minutes! So we decided we needed to invest in a small and practical spot cleaner, especially with having cats and a dog who tend to be sick quite often on our carpets!
also we wanted I for any mishaps I.e drink spills etc without having to dig out our large carpet cleaner, for a 5 minute job!
So we ordered the bissell pet pro spot cleaner, as soon as it arrived we took it out the box and decided we would give it a try and see if it was any good.
Set up was simple took seconds, I filled the tank with hot (not boiling water) added the cleaning solution that came with it and carried it to the room where a stain had appeared only a few days ago!
I Plugged it in, switched it on and got to work on the stain!
It was easy to use, and the stain/mark came out easily, however having a karcher puzzi I had something to compare it against.
I noticed that the machine had a design fault, where u attach the cleaning tool a little of the suction is lost, you could hear the air escaping through the clip that connects the head to the plastic connector, this was easily resolved by placing my thumb over the catch fitting, I guess the best way to describe it is imagine you have a vacuum and you are using the hose section and the hose has a small hole… you can hear the air escaping from the small hole and you know/feel that a slight loss of suction is present due to this hole, so you either replace the hose or put some tape around it to solve the problem!!! Well it’s that kind of scenario with the push button fitting that the cleaning tool connects on!
This though was my only criticism/grumble with the machine. As soon as I placed my finger over the push button I could feel the suction power had increased!
Something the manufacturer may want to make note of and rectify when they bring out another model!
Overall very pleased with my purchase, and feel happy knowing that for a quick 5 minute spot clean I can now use this new machine, and be confident in knowing that the mark will come out and not leave the carpet excessively wet!
And then when needed I can dig out my Karcher to do a full carpet clean in each room which will now be less often as I can maintain marks/stains quickly and effectively with the Bissell!
This is only suitable for small areas, It will probably be effective on the stairs and in the car, but to be honest I will use the Karcher to tackle these jobs simply because it would be more practical as it holds more water and wouldnt need refilling /emptying as often!
But this is perfect for what I intended it for!
Brilliant for pets and kids.
This is a fab product if you have kids or pets. We have both and it’s has already proved to be absolutely brilliant for spills and marks on furniture or carpets. We use it to clean up any pet accidents and it is far far more effective than anything else we have tried.
Easy to use but VERY loud
I really underestimated how loud this would be. It works brilliantly, but I have to use earplugs when using it (and I’m hard of hearing).
It has great suction power and leaves carpets clean and fresh with no solution residue. It is great for cleaning rugs, stairs, car seats, and all sorts. Really impressed with the quality and I don’t think there is an extractor on the market that can do the same job for the same price.
Excellent cleane
Have been using this for 5 weeks now to clear up any puppy accidents. What a marvellous machine. The stain trapper tool is brilliant, it means any nasty mess is stored in the tool and does not go through the machine. Easy to use and nice and compact. Recommended for pet owners.

I wished that someone had told me about this little vac when we welcomed our puppy to our family, I would of brought it sooner! Makes those little mess’s so much more easier to handle. I even cleaned all the carpets in the house with it, did take a few refills but did the job great. Glad I brought this little gem, especially now the weather is crap, cleans the carpets in the car up a treat after a muddy few days of dog walking. Well worth the purchase and I will certainly be recommending it to any of our friends who plan to get a puppy in the near future. Has also been extremely handy with our elderly cat and her accidents. I have some pointers though to people who want to use this in home or cars, always do a regular hoover first to pick up any debris or hairs first and then use this product, you’ll save yourself a lot of hassle cleaning out the devices nossle and other filter compartments, regardless of that it just works great, it’s loud but so are many hoovers.
It’s got a great feature of being able to spray water or cleaning solution while working away to so it’s spot on for most cases.
The favourite part of this product is the ability to see into the suction tip as you pull out dirt or stains from fabrics.
Would definitely recommend this product, it’s had a very hard life with valeting multiple cars day in and out and hasn’t once caused any issues.

I purchased this for cleaning car interiors and it is doing a really good job at removing ground in dirt from upholstery.

I have an elderly cat and 2 children under 10, what’s not to like!. My cat is blind and is she gets confused (she’s 18) she can’t get out of a room in time. The stain trapper tool came in very handy today as this happened. It sucked up the wee from the carpet and then I cleaned using the normal tool. It worked a treat. My biggest tip is run the head over the surface you are cleaning slowly and you’ll get the best results. I’ve cleaned the seats in both our cars and the water marks from spilt juice has come off the upholstery in my ancient Volvo and the oily marks from my husband’s work clothes have mostly come out of his Panda seats I think another go over will get the rest but it was freezing it side and my fingers went numb! I do wish it had casters on to move it as you work and another wider head but I’m sure you can buy a compatible one. I did the arms of our sofas and boy in glad I did. When (if) the kids go back to school I’ll do the rest. The spray from the head is neat and didn’t make too much mess away from the area I was cleaning but keep a towel with you is you got wooden floors nearby just to wipe up any drips. The sofa and dried real quickly too. On carpet the brush on the cleaner head helps to separate the fibres and this helps it dry. The picture is just from one sofa arm

Our sofa was filthy and it was really getting me down but I didn’t know where to start with cleaning it so I was ready to call in a professional. Stumbled across this product and thought, if it works, it would be more cost effective than paying for someone to do it for me. So glad I bought it! You can see from the photos what a good job it has done! The instruction booklet was a bit weird – no words in it just images but it was all quite self explanatory to use, you can’t really go wrong. It came with a sample size of the shampoo stuff, I bought the full size as well as wasn’t sure how far it would go. I managed to clean 2 sofas with some still spare in the tank. I used the higher dosage of the shampoo and there is still enough left in the bottle for another few tanks full, so I wouldn’t worry about buying the full size straight away.

Fantastic to sort out accidents
Great improvements from old model, I had an earlier version of this unit lasted 16 years before going wrong and was used most days. Haviing undone the package it was very quick to set up and the filling of the tanks and improved size of tanks makes this the best spot cleaner I have had

Ive also read other reviews on this and decided to go ahead and generally the reviews pick up on simalar issues to what ive seen and im not surprised with the function on this spot cleaner. Issues includes the plastic attachments and the the hose in which it slots into is abit flimsy. But if you hold by the end of the attachment and not further down at the join then you have a safer firmer hold and a deeper clean. Also the dirty water tank drops into the machine but does not clip into place however, this has not leaked. Overall, i like this spot cleaner as just a spot cleaner with occasionally getting away with a rug or two. Everything i cleaned looked and was clean and dry within an hour. Better results with the sollution. If you need a cleaner to do a room you need a upright as you will be on your knees on a wet floor.

First off, it’s noisy and I mean ringing in the ears noisy. Get yourself some ear plugs as the cleaner will be within a metre of you throughout. The hose is a little short meaning you will have to keep moving it around when cleaning the sofa. The stairs may be a little dangerous if you have narrow steps. The wash tank allowed me two clean one 2 seater sofa, foot stool and a rug.
The cleaning agent supplied will easily give you two tanks of cleaner. When mixed it is a translucent light grey colour liquid. See my photo after cleaning for the muck it cleaned out! After cleaning the items were damp for a few hours, left indoors with low heating on.
I used the following technique;
Spray area first using the attachment,
Leave for 5mins,
Lightly scrub using the hose attachment,
Then putting light pressure on the hose attachment (so it tilts away from you slightly) drag the attachment towards you.
The connections within the hose are all plastic so don’t use to much downward pressure when cleaning. It would likely snap.

Excellent Spot Cleane
Bought on recommendation of “The Detail Geek” on YouTube, and his machine will have been used far more often and on dirtier & more challenging situations than we will ever face.
I’ve not used on my car yet, but it has got out standard dirty marks from my carpet, got out dirt from my sofa, visible in the dirty water more than anything else.
And also got out dried in fountain pen ink and dried blood from my carpets.

Its loud its proud its a bissell cleaner alright omg I am impressed its hard work on the hands it sprays alittle bit outward when washing well the sofa in this case wasnt an issue
Handy lil water tank dis a whole 4 seater couch the dirty water goes in seperate tank its soooooo easy to use fill tank with water and solution attatch ur nozzle plug in switch on and away u got hold down button for spray let go for suction. Easy to empty and clean out hose and cord wrap around the cleaner so easy to store
What more can I say
If u need a cleaner for sofa car stair spot cleaning after messy kids then this is the machine
Remember give urself time for couch ect to dry air dry is best in my opinion
But yeah dont hesitate dont go browsing for another cleaner get this one

Does exactly what the advert said
Lightweight, easy to use and store. Used to remove a dof stain from carpet. It was veryeasy to use and did the job very well.
I picked is up together with some Pro-Kleen Pro+ carpet shampoo and a Drillbrush set. The drill brush works the shampoo into the carpet really thoroughly and picks up some additional cat hair that I’m not able to get out with the vacuum cleaner.
This combination of products really made night & day difference to my carpets. I’ve also used it on my office chair and sofa with great results as well. If I could change one thing though it would be for the nozzles to be easier to clean. Ddespite my best efforts to get rid of all of the cat hair in the carpets some ends up going in the nozzle and getting stuck. I’ve yet to find a good way to clean that.
I’ve also found it really handy to see the water being sucked up through the nozzle as I don’t keep track of the water level. This way I know when the water in the tank has run out and when the surface I’m cleaning is still full of water.

Great upholstery cleane
This was a great tool for cleaning my sofas. I bought a vax and returned it. This is amazing I would highly rate this cleaner. So satisfying seeing the black water after cleaning the sofas from my holiday rental home they were filthy.
With two toddlers spilling water, food, chocolate, blue berries and drawing on our sofa, it was starting to look like something you’d find at the side of the road.
We tried covers first, but they end up in the same state and the kids just pull them off all the time to reveal our embarrassing sofa.
Rather than fork out 1k on a new sofa, and to try and be eco friendly, we decided to look into custom covers, these would of cost more than the sofa itself. So last chance we tried this cleaner, and wow it’s really amazing, see the results after 1 clean. I’m planning to wait for it to dry and go then over it again so it’s like new.
I bought this after a friend cleaned my son’s car seats with it. Fantastic cleaner! I used it on a hot day and dried the cushions outside. They were dry in no time. I also bought a soft brush head which fits on a drill to work in the cleaning solution. That worked really well, the results are amazing! The cream rug in the pictures had had those stains for three years. It does require a bit of manual effort but is an excellent cleaner. For the price I paid, I was able to clean a three piece suite, two rugs and a two seater bed settee and footstool. A professional company would have charged at least double what I paid for the cleaner and I still have it to use again. It would be a lot of work to clean carpets with it, but could be done if you are prepared to spend a bit of time on your hands and knees. Other reviewers said it is noisy, but that didn’t bother me. An excellent buy!
I have just used my bissell pet pro for the first time, all I can say is fantastic!!!!! I don’t normally feel impelled to write reviews but this is so good it needs 50 stars. We have a cream cloth 2 seater reclining sofa, cheap cos of the colour but brilliant quality. I have tried to clean it the diy way using various solutions and techniques but it still looked a little grimy. So I thought why not try a machine, I did some research and this came up trumps because of the power of motor and suction. It didn’t disappoint. One thing is the width of spray, it’s wider than I thought about 5 to 6 inches, so be careful of the spray getting on anything electrical nearby e.g. plugs!!!! I only put in a half tank of water and solution and then only used 3/4 of that I not only did the sofa but a few high traffic spots as well. We don’t have a pet but I guess this would be invaluable if you did, well worth the money. The instructions don’t come with words but the pics are for the most part self explanatory. The only thing was emptying the dirty tank it indicated to have the handle at the back of the tank as you can see from the pic, you have to apply a bit of pressure to move it back, then the lid lifts off. I found if you spray the area first from about an inch up then gently scrub with the brush it disperses the solution better. If you then flatten the suction head on the area keeping a steady pressure and going in different directions then you suck up most of the liquid. The sofa was dry in about 5 hrs and patches of carpet in 2.
Absolutely love this machine. Bought it specifically to clean my settees as the grandchildren have taken their toll. I’m actually embarrassed about how dirty they were!
Considering this is a compact machine it’s quite powerful. No it does not dry things instantly but no size of machine does. It took about 8 hours for my settle to dry fully. There are 2 things that could be improved. It’s very noisy. Noisier than your average vacuum and the hose could be a bit longer. It didn’t quite reach the top of the settee without having to lift the unit up. Another foot would be ideal
Please note that you do get a lot of spray from the cleaning attachments so if you have things near by you don’t want to get wet, move them! Also the dirty water tank needs emptying when it’s about half full. The machine stopped sucking and this was the issue.
All in all I’m chuffed with this little machine, I can’t wait to do the stairs and the cars!

I love this little machine, it packs a lot of power into a compact cleaner. We have very mucky dogs and I have used this to make the car seats look like new and smell good. I’ve also used it to clean sofas and quite large long pile rugs with great success. Honestly it is just brilliant.
I have had other makes of washers and they’ve broken so quickly they ended up being a complete waste of money and I don’t think they cleaned as well as this little powerful machine. Okay I have to get on my hands and knees to clean the rugs, but doing it methodically after a really good vacuum you can really see the difference. Plus the rug is almost dry when you finish.
We don’t have stairs, but I’m sure it would be excellent because the machine is so compact and easy to move around.
We have six dogs of varying sizes and believe me they are a really mucky lot, carrying dirt in from the garden all the time. The biggest is a Romanian Mountain dog with huge hairy paws.
I was very sceptical when I was looking for a cleaner of this type after the last, bigger, upright washer was truly awful despite being a very well known brand, it just didn’t last. This Bissell pro is definitely worth the money it’s excellent. I will buy another whenever this one bites the dust, but I can’t see that happening soon.
One last point, that’s really important too, is that it is very easy to clean. That was a big fail on the one I had before this, an upright of a different brand. This is so, so, easy to maintain, keep clean and small enough to store in a cupboard. Don’t hesitate buy it, it’s worth every penny!
I’m a car servicing/sales garage owner, we usually bring someone in to valet cars, but thought we’d have a go at wet vac/shampoo on the interiors ourselves. I tried the cleaner on the carpet at home first – worked very well, tried it on various car interiors and again worked perfectly. For the price this is a great product. Very robust generally, simplicity itself to use, very long power cord which is extremely helpful going up stairs or around a showroom. Short cleaning hose, so you need to keep the vac close to the cleaning area. You do need to be careful with the cleaning hose attachments as they are not super strong plastics, so it would be easy to be careless and break that part.

Ok brought this as we have had a whole range of carpet cleaning machines that just don’t work we don’t have much carpet in the house and was fed up being disappointed by the traditional cleaners. I have not been disappointed the day after this arrived my daughter spilt a whole tin of Dulux quick dry gloss on the top of the stairs after scraping as much as possible back into the pot and throwing two buckets of water on the stain we quickly unboxed this and set it up it removed all of the paint and the machine itself was also very easy to clean up you wouldn’t know the carpet had been exposed to paint at all.
I am yet to try it on my swede sofa as we are still doing renovations in the lounge area but it has already saved us with saving our very expensive and nearly new hall carpet so well worth the money.
Unlike other machines we have had all parts come apart to clean there is no books or crannies you can’t clean out easily and conveniently 20 minutes of cleaning and the machine showed next to no evidence of having saved my carpet from paint and using it on my daughters rooms since 3-5 minutes to do a full clean after “normal” use it stores so conveniently too being as compact as it is.
I have used it to clean the carpets of two double and a single sized bedroom, 4 single mattresses, one kingsize mattress, stairs, landing and my curtains and so far it has been everything I wanted not as convenient to do large areas as a normal upright carpet cleaner but unlike the uprights it actually cleans throughly, cleans up easily and leaves cleaned area so dry even on a thundery day like we have just had areas dried within a few hours without heating.
Worth every penny. We have only used the Bissell clean and protect Pro that came with it that small 8oz bottle has done everything mentioned I only stopped awaiting two other solutions to come from Amazon and to finish current projects.
Amazing
We bought a new fabric sofa last December. Unfortunately with three young children, it was inevitable that spills and stains were going to occur. One vomit accident and one water spillage equals two nasty stains that have been eye sores for months now, without any idea on how to remove them. A quick search and found this machine with excellent reviews across multiple sites.
I decided to take a punt and purchased from Amazon knowing that I could return it if it didn’t work. I was sceptical as to whether it would work or not and nervous to be spraying more cleaner on the stains than we already have. I plucked up the courage to use it and followed the instructions to the letter step by step to make sure I didn’t go wrong anywhere.
After using the machine for just a few minutes I could see the how clean the sofa was looking. The dirty tank was actually revolting, considering we’ve only had the sofa for 6 months.
Once it was all dried out, the sofa looks BRAND NEW.
I then used it on rattan sofa cushions we also have which I hadn’t planned to use as again, it looks new again.
I’m honestly really impressed by this machine and if you have a new sofa, get this.

Iv had to write another review for this this machine is absolutely amazing it done amazing job on all carpets but iv just literally put it to the test as I’m decorating my bedroom and just managed to get a massive blob of black gloss on my brand new carpet I scrubbed it and as my machine was put away completely forgot about it but then remembered so was in an absolute state thinking how was I gonna get it out I poured some of the cleaning solution on top of the gloss gave it a little bit of a scrub with a cloth and the gloss was just going deeper into the carpet got the machine out went over it and the gloss was completely gone I so wish I had taken a before and after picture but being in such a panic I just wanted to see if it did the job and it did amazingly best carpet cleaner iv ever had

Easy to setup and use.
There were 3 issues I had with it.
1. The instructions tell you to fill the water tank to the lines on the tank BUT there are no lines on the tank. The instructions show that there are 2 lines, the first line is the line you fill the water to, and the second is how much shampoo you need. The actual tank has no markings.
2. It is VERY loud.
3. After you fill the water tank (by flipping the tank upside down and unscrewing the cap), you have to place it back into the machine (by flipping right side up). It would leak a bit of water from the cap. (Not a huge deal though)
Other than the 3 issues which aren’t deal breakers, the machine works very well.
It has very good suction and cleans very well.
I got this today and i`m so impressed with the results on my carpets and stairs . It involves going on your hands and knees for some time, but if you get comfy with a cushion its no problem , its so satisfying its almost additive. I`ve been at it for 3 hours so far….cant wait to do more tomorrow! ( Much better than the Vax i sent back due to leaking!)

What a great little cleaner. Fantastic suction. Sprays the water from just behind the brush and covers about a 5 inch section with each squeeze of the trigger. I couldn’t believe the result. It was like one of those advertisements where they show you a really dirty floor with a perfectly clean line across where the brush has passed over – it really was that good!
It’s a spot cleaner so it doesn’t have a huge tank. I filled it twice for a 12′ x 8′ rug – but it was very dirty with mud from the dogs as well as coal and ash from the fire.
I think the power is one of the downsides too. As a spot cleaner it’s so good that you end up with a brilliantly clean patch making the rest look awful even if it’s not that dirty! And that’s where the problem lies, the hose is really short and there’s no attachment that allows you to stand and clean. You have to get on the floor and run the brush over the stains and you have to lift the unit to get to the back of the sofa, I expect I’ll have to carry it when I do the stairs too. I think it’ll be best for the car.

Great piece of kit!
I’ve been using this to clean rugs & curtains in my home. The SpotClean makes short work of the stains and dirt on the mentioned products however this is bearing in mind that I pre-treated my items beforehand.
It’s easy to use and clean with a compact storing solution in place as everything integrates together.
My only downside is that the manual and the product do not match explicitly as the clean water tank does not have markings on where to add the cleaning solution to as specified in the manual.
The machine is also VERY loud. I mean VERY. I have to wear some form of ear protection to be able to use it comfortably for long periods.

I cannot comment on for use on stairs as I live in a bungalow myself and it’s intentional use is for cleaning the upholstery of my car.
I was horrified by the black dirty water that came out of my car seat upholstery. And once dried they are looking brand new not bad for 06 reg car never previously been cleaned to such detail.
Really useful having the two different sized heads, use of a single button that sprays the solution and pulls most of the water back out.
Very simple and easy to follow pictorial instruction manual, if still not satisfied plenty of tutorial/reviews on YouTube.
As stated it’s a spot clean device not suitable for larger areas of which you would need a designated carpet cleaner.
It’s relatively light weight, the box it arrived in is brilliant to pack it all away back in until next use.
Having done it in November 2019, not the warmest of weather and little amount of time to dry out I’ve had to wind down the windows on suitable days to get the moisture out. That said moisture and damp normally occurs during wetter seasons.
I bought this machine to do the staircase in my house. the suction power its amazing. the filing compartment its ok and easy to use however this machine has a comon problem from the manufacturer (the head break’s of easily and the house as well) my advice from new give it some rounds of sellotape on the head and hose. I know this from experience i use this machine in a hotel for sporting the carpets and I try different brands but none of them have suction power like this 1. also if you buy this machine make sure to spend another 20 extra for insurance with amazon just in case if the motor blows (never hapend in 2 year’s of use) at least you’re covered. overall the best carpet cleane

Ignore the whingers, and the one star scores! They just want someone else to do the hard work for them. This product is excellent. It has brought up my sitting room chair to an unbelievably clean standard, and Scotch guarded it at the same time. Yes!! It does take a little effort, but so do most things if you want them done properly. I was truly amazed at how much filth it removed and I’m OCD. You can even see the difference. My only reservation is that it doesn’t leave the upholstery totally dry, so I’ve cranked up the central heating to 22 degrees (celcius) and I’m off to my local for a well deserved pint!!
Fantastic Product, Easy to Use
This is hands down the best purchase I’ve made! We were quoted over 600 to have a large rug professionally cleaned (no thanks!) so decided to take the plunge and buy a cheaper alternative. Not only have we now got a new looking rug, but we saved loads of cash. This is so easy to use, although the instruction manual is a bit vague (it’s illustrations only), once we had figured out what the pictures meant it was great. This comes with a bottle of cleaning solution, but we also bought a different one from the same brand which is designed for pet owners to get rid of pet smells etc. The only thing I would say could be improved would be having a slightly longer hose. The cable is really long though. It comes with a small and a larger head so you can work on small areas or larger areas. Whilst it is certainly a “spot cleaner”, it is usable for larger areas such as carpets and rugs. We have also used it on the seats in the car and they have come up really nicely. Would 100% recommend!
his newer model solves the problem of access to stairs etc present in the large floor models. The way the tanks are filled/emptied keeps liquid well away from the user (unlike earlier models) and contain about 2l of solution,enough for stairs etc. The hose seems short but you learn to move the machine instead, not perfect but its not too heavy. Noise is high and the extract fan discharges at the base so objects to deep carpet. Lovely long power cable. The attachment at the hose end is glued together and can be broken if you are fierce in scrubbing: not repairable at home! avoid this like the plague. this is a weakness that exists across all their range. Overall it is really well designed – pity about the hose joint ‘weakness’ for the pushy…
Simple, easy to use and like most others very pleased with it. Cleaned previously ‘hard to clean areas’ perfectly and the stairs with a long hose came up very well.be sure not to fill the tank right up as I did if you only have a small area to clean as you will find yourself going around the house to use up the surplus water/shampoo solution!! So, no problems as yet not do I expect to find any. Not too sure if the Bissell shampoo is worth the vastly expensive price asked as there are others that are just as good although it does do a good job so measure carefully rather than just ‘pouring some in’ .Very pleased and it compliments the bigger brother Bissell carpet cleaner which I already have and I would say for those small areas it is a better buy. As for cleaning tiles in the kitchen etc, it will do a very good job in cleaning the old grout between the tiles if you simply wash the floor well beforehand with hot water and don’t expect to have a dry floor afterwards. Two cleaners in one then !!
Well, if only had this for a few days but I’m in love with it. Puppy pee’d right in front of me the day it arrived as if saying, go on then mum try it out , little monkey, anyway, I unboxed it thinking I’ll be here for a while setting it all up, whilst kitchen roll sat soaking up pee, anyway, all I had to do was attach a nozzle and fill a tank with water and cleaning solution……..so so simple to use.
I had phone in hand ready to YouTube as well as I usually need help with instructions but there was no need.
Switched the machine on and thought I’d done something wrong as the water didn’t magically appear to spurt out when I pressed the button, 20 seconds later it did. I know realise that happens everytime one has to fill the tank with just a little water.
Pee gone, no stain, no smell, carpet slightly damp but not soaked.
Went looking for another dried in stain, found one down the side of a table, spilt tea, wet the carpet, let it sit in the solution for a few seconds then a few pushes over the stain and whoohoo stain had gone.
As you can imagine I then went house hunting for stains as the machine isn’t heavy or cumbersome so I could carry it around ( and iv had a stroke so pretty weak in my right arm ) but it was no bother.
It sat perfectly on my stairs and the cable is very long so didn’t need to plug/unplug.
The only thing I did youtube was how to empty the dirty water, all the videos bar one had it wrong, pull handle over the jug the waters in and the lid will come off, easy pee-sy ( get it )

This came today and I set to work with it right away, I am so thrilled with it I had to write a product review! This is less compact than I expected (personal choice, not a fault) but it isn’t bulky by any means and perfect for what I wanted it for. It clears up stains right away and the sample cleaning fluid smells lovely and fresh. I did pre-treat the stains with a Hydrogen Peroxide, water and a teeny drop of washing up liquid solution from a spray bottle so just a little tip should you need a hand but this little machine works like a dream. I knocked one star off because I would have preferred the suction to be a bit more powerful but if you press deep while extracting the water and go slowly, it doesn’t leave your upholstery too wet – it’s just it’s hard going on my arthritic hands and wrists so had to take a few breaks. I suspect this would be the same as any other portable washer. Back and forth motions as well as a few circular ones or cross type ones will have your item clean in no time. This is easy to set up and use, you don’t really have to do much so yes, overall, I am very pleased with my purchase!

REVIEW: While transporting a pint bottle of milk in the drinks holder to work, it decided to fall over and find its way into the foot well, yes it happens!! Long story sideways, this BISSELL SpotClean PRO Portable Carpet Cleaner, 750 W come good in every respect, it was portable, easy to set up and use, quick and convenient and above all, cleared up the mess – like all incidents relating to dairy, you have to be quick and thorough and can’t blame the product if it fails to deliver, however, this product will not disappoint for the jobs it is designed for. Like most other reviews that state, it is OK for small areas, this goes without saying and is, in fact, the equivalent to the difference between a main vacuum cleaner and a hand held one, they are specific for their roles and you need to apply the same logic here. Monet well spent in every respect.
I’ve used it a couple of times now on small patches (cat sick) and larger areas of dirty carpet and I really love it. It sprays an even amount of shampoo and then you scrub the area with the brush and then suck up the water! Easy. The dirty water tank and the clean water tank come clean out of the machine for easy refilling, and the cable and hose neatly wind around the machine so it tucks away neatly in the cupboard.
There are 2 things about it to think about before buying… The first is you really need to be able to get down on your hands and knees to clean the carpet, and secondly it’s very very loud. I actually wore earplugs the last time because it’s deafening.
Still worth the money though if, like us you’re constantly cleaning up after cats…
Cleans up puppy accidents and old furniture marks, does what it was bought for very well
A little noisy, but does exactly the job we bought it for. New 5month old puppy has accidents always on the carpets, this sucks up pees and the marks left by loose poos. Opening the dirty water container needs muscle, you need to pull the handle over the back of the lid to release. We use the small head, which does get fur caught in the edges at time, difficult to get out as the clear cover is not removable.
Used in conjunction with other Bissel products, this has removed some of the carpet stains from the previous puppy period over two years ago (they are both still with us, cousins to the newby), and from some of the furniture. We keep the cleaning tank part filled for emergencies, seems to keep ok for about three weeks then we refresh. We add a little sterilising fluid to the waste tank in about an inch of water, which helps keep this cleaner and stops the smell.
Need to quickly spot clean spills, accidents and fresh marks, this does the job for us. Only comment, the cable is too long and doesn’t fit the carrier.

AMAZING! A family member has the full upright version but we don’t have room to store that. We paid more then other models for this one as it was more powerful and has not disappointed. We have wooden Floors downstairs and on stairways but use rugs and runners up the stairs. I am amazed each time I use it how much dirt comes out. I’ve also used it on the carpeted rooms too and it’s really freshened them up, even though those carpets are old. I’ve also used it inside the car, on sofas and cushions and it’s really got them clean and removed stains. Highly recommend.

Bought the BISSELL SpotClean PRO Portable Carpet Cleaner to clean ruge and car upholstery. I’ve had quite a bit of use out of already and it works very well. The water tank is big enough for most jobs, and it sucks up the excess moisture reasonably well. My only small gripe is that I wish the hose was a little longer. The picture is the results of cleaning what appeared to be a reletively clean car – without using any cleaning chemicals (just water).
Decided to clean car seats and carpets as it was a dry day. I think the attached photos speak for themselves.
The car is 9 years old and l have had it for 4 of those 9 years with mucky grandchildren.
As it was the first time i have ever done this was really pleased with the results.
I would advise when cleaning though..
1. Do it on a dry warm day
2. Have no need to drive the car after as the seats do remain damp even after all the suctioning and will take 24hrs to dry thoroughly.
I bought this machine to clean up the seats in my car as we have 2 dogs but used it for the carpet in the landing and the stairs and recently to rejuvenate a sofa we got for free. Very tough stains. See the result.
Love this machine , Iv been looking for a carpet extractor for my cars for ages but was put off by prices of the big machines like karcher eat.
After hearing a few people online talk about Bissell little green machine and it was great I decided I would take the plunge on the Pro portable carpet cleaner. Its fantastic, brilliantly and great for cars. Sure you do have to refill fairly often but a small price to pay for what is a cracking machine that won’t break the bank either.
WOW! I never take the time to write reviews. I’m a busy Mum of a 2 year old and 10month old. We have a cream carpet in our living room which was quite frankly on the verge of being binned! Weetabix, biscuits, sauces all stained on the carpet. This carpet cleaner has removed every stain and left the carpet looking new again. It’s so quick and easy to use – very highly recommend it!
It’s a great product for cleaning things like the stairs and upholstery or if your spill something on the carpet – you can whip it out – it so easy to fill up, empty and clean. You could do a whole carpet but it would take a really really long time as it does have a small compartment for clean water and dirty water so empties/fills up pretty quickly.
Never had any problems with it leaking like some of the review say – I’d say they just didn’t connect it all up properly.
All in all it’s fab. I’ve lent it to a couple of friends and they have all really enjoyed borrowing it.
I’d definitely recommend getting the Bissell Oxy-gen spray as well. It works amazing an old stubborn stains.
I bought this to clean up puppy house-training accidents.
The device is a reasonable size: significant smaller than a full sized carpet cleaner, and it can easily fit in a cupboard. It comes with a starter bottle of general purpose carpet cleaner and two different sized attachments.
It’s very easy to use, with an on/off switch and a trigger for spraying the cleaning solution.
I’m unsure how it compares to other cleaning devices. It’s obviously not a professional cleaning product so it would be unfair to rate it in comparison to them…
The limitation seems to be the vacuum strength. It is very effective at getting fluids out of carpets and rugs but there’s still quite a lot of moisture Vs what’s left after a professional clean. The motor is extremely noisy and I wonder if it’s just not as powerful as my handheld Dyson (say). Perhaps a bigger version would have a stronger motor and therefore leave things dryer.
The issues I’ve had with it are:
1. It leaks after a clean. Can’t figure out where from but there’s always a little puddle next to it an hour later. Hence I put it on the tiled floor for a while before putting it away.
2. There’s nowhere to clip on the spare attachment. So that’s floating around in the cupboard.
3. The power lead wraps around its holder nicely but the plug clip isn’t very strong so falls of regardless of what I’ve tried.
4. Getting the lid off the waste tank is a pain. You have to lift over a handle, which is slightly too small for the action, hence it requires a bit of force.
But don’t get me wrong: I think this is a great little device and I haven’t seen anything else which offers the features for the size. (Damned by faint praise?)
I purchased this as a replacement for my other Bissell spot cleaner and it is definitely more powerful and easier to empty and clean. it must be noted that when the tank is full it is quite a heavy piece of kit and the other minor fault is the small release catch on the side of the pipe attached to the machine it keeps falling off, a bit of a pain really.

I want to give 5 stars to this item because I love being able to wash my upholstery! This helps me keep my apartment cleaner than ever. BUT. The hose is so short that it’s a big nuisance. Most of the time you have to lift the whole machine and put it on your couch to get to remote areas. And when you do that, the machine’s fan gets blocked because it is supposed to stay on an even, hard surface. Then the engine gets hot. It also makes so much noise that it’s unbelievable. Terrorizes my pets both of which are used to the normal sound level of a regular vacuum cleaner. Can’t use it for emergency if you spill something on your carpet after 10pm otherwise your neighbors would knock on your door. Also for it to suck the majority of what you have sprayed, you really need to push it hard into the fabric in many directions repeatedly so watch out how much water you spray. Other than that, no complaints.
Only just received this and have used it just once, but having owned an alternative brand stair/spot cleaner and have had ok results- this one is amazing. With less effort and noticeable results. I would absolutely recommend this- not the cheapest product in relation to size – but worth every penny. Used along side the oxy clean it removed stains that have stubbornly refused to be banished previously.

i had a look at the reviews for the carpet spot remover machines and they all looked a bit weedy so i settled on this one which has the 650 watt motor , just started using it today and it is really very good , decent sized water reservoirs , easily clip together accessories , better spray of cleaning fluid than my upright Bissell , very good suction , used briefly on the office carpet this morning and the muck that came out was biblical !
i brought it for the stairs , the 1980’s car that i brought with epically dirty seats , my old and slightly leaky cat that seems intent on leaving me presents in the morning and a wife that seems to drop makeup all over the bathroom carpet on a regular basis – all of which i could do with the upright but its a bit of a faff
down sides – its not a small machine about the size of a baseball so not as easy to store as some units . it gets fairly heavy when full of water , the hose is not very long ( but long enough for most things so far )
very happy with it and would highly recommend it .

I love this machine it is so easy to use, my husband has an industrial machine for his business and I can confirm that the Bissel spot clean pro can give it a run for its money. A tough lightweight machine that is easily filled and emptied, with great suction power to leave carpets and upholstery nearly dry.
My wife wanted a new sofa? We have small dogs always climbing on and off the sofa, drives me mad. So I thought that I would try to clean it before we bought a new one? Didn’t quite know which contraption to buy as it’s a bit of a confusing market. So I googled best upholstery cleaner and this popped up. A bit pricey but I went for it and wow, what a result it does a terrific job and it’s easy to use and not much mess when emptying it in fact none at all. The sofa came up magnificent and I’m chuffed to bits. This little machine is a star as far as I am concerned
