Bought this as we have a dog and cat who both like to run around with wet/messy paws and the spray carpet cleaners just aren’t doing it.
Used this on my rugs, sofa and plan to use on stairs. Brought everything up like new. You don’t need to spray a lot either.

With many kids (only 1 is mine haha) and a dog in and out of my car constantly, I noticed spilt milkshakes, dropped food and I had a gallon of screenwash leak in my boot! My car was looking bad and starting to go mouldy and the smell was horrific! I always had a Bissel cleaner until I put wood floors down, so I wanted something small and easy to use for the car and my sofas. It works great, my car looks fantastic and now smells fresh! Definatly recommend.

I like to think I’m a thorough cleaner and regularly use Dr Beckmans on my carpets as we have a dog, and my partner has a habit of spilling coffee (the perks of working from home!) I thought it was doing a good job of keeping them clean but the bissell spot cleaner has proven me wrong! The pictures speak for themselves. You will be horrified at just how dirty your carpets are! It took me about an hour and a half to do one room. I’ve also used it on our sofa for a few little stains and it’s come up perfectly. The water tank is a little leaky, and it’s hard to work out how much cleaner to use without physically measuring it as it doesn’t come with a measuring cup or a fill line on the tank (there is one for water but not for cleaning solution) but it’s easy to work around. I really like it and have already reccomended it to friends and family.

Minus: Have to use manual scrubbing (i.e. brushes don’t rotate on their own), leaking water when emptying the tank, hose length could be longer, very loud
Have used this once now so bear in mind my review is based on first impressions.
The compact size is what drew me to this product and is definitely a firm plus as I only have a small under stair storage cupboard. It’s easy to move around and lightweight which I appreciate because I had a larger vacuum style carpet cleaner previously that was just the biggest bulkiest thing to move around which meant it never got used.
I expected to have to use “elbow grease” for scrubbing so this is not truly a minus for me, but for someone who wants something completely automated, this will not be the product for them. I also wouldn’t mind the hose being a bit longer. Especially as the machine itself is very(!) loud especially when it was sitting on a hardwood floor next to the rug I was cleaning causing the sound to echo/resonate (honestly, I would probably recommend ear defenders!). However, the biggest minus I have found is that when emptying the tank with the dirty water, there was clearly still water sitting in the housing around the tank which leaked onto the floor after the tank was removed. Maybe I didn’t give it long enough suctioning air after the wet suction? I’ll run it a bit longer next time and see. However, the machine worked well at extracting up the dirty water and the carpet didn’t take long to dry which seemed to indicate the suction works fairly well overall and definitely worked well (using the enclosed solution) at getting out some pet stains.
Just so easy to use and I keep mine on standby at all times
Brought this as a spare as we have a new puppy and have a few accident in our carpet. It is easy to use and is ABIT noisy but it great . My pup is no longer a pup but he have a few diarrhea once in awhile and it work great as a stand by. Save me alot of time on cleaning them by scrubbing. Just clean up the mess. Spray some carpet cleaning and dad it clean and use this machine to clean again. It leave no stain and smell. Best investment if you got pets.
My carpet on my stairs is 6 years old and gets loads if use, Two dogs and a cat. I didn’t feel I needed a new carpet but it was dirty and looked grubby. Have to say that its very satisfying to see the dirty water sucked up and now my stairs look great and smell way better. Now I’m confident to get a rug for my living room as I know digs will want to be on it but I can clean it with this carpet cleaner.
The assembly instructions are difficult to understand and had it not been for this it would have been rated as 5 overall. Useful piece of equipment which is left assembled and ready to use and very effective when accidents happen. Use it once a day generally and returns carpets and furniture to their original colour without stains.

Where to start…
The product arrived well packaged. It required some assembly and this is where I found a picture instruction a bit confusing. This device is well worth the money. It cleans well, with Bissell cleaning liquid. I did not try it with other products.
So far I have cleaned my sofa, some carpet stain and the seats of my garden furniture. The device has a good suction and usually sucks in around half the water it sprayed.
I’ve seen a lot of reviews on this item and thought I’d give it a go. I’m so glad I’ve got it now as it’s amazing and so easy to use and the results are incredible.
First time I deep cleaned the carpets inside my car. Jaguar carpets are plush and not easy to deep clean but this machine made short work of this job and the results were first class. It removed every small stain, removed 95% of the water and this is a low estimate and the carpet was dry inside 4 hours.
Also used on a bedroom carpet with lipstick, food and drink stains and it lifted them all out with ease. Compact and easy to move about and with the suction it produces you only need to lightly hold the pipe to the floor to remove the water so easy on the arms. A very even spread from the fan for the chemical used in conjunction with the water. All round for the money I feel this is a great buy. Hose and lead are stowed neatly to make this machine easy to stow away in a small cupboard. You won’t be disappointed.
Its easy to set up and I couldn’t believe how much dirt it got our or sofa! We have sometimes 4 dogs in our house and it cleaned them up so well!
Bought to replace the basic model, the hose on which split after many many years of regular use. The hose storage on this model is much better, and the waste tank much bigger. Cleaning up after pets or small children (or even big children lol) is quick and easy. Can’t recommend one of these enough.
Have used this cleaner a few times to clean the carpets in the car and inside the house, along with upholstery cleaning. Does an amazing job of extracting the dirt which is visible in the waste water collection chamber. A must have for any household to remove spills and stains from carpets and upholstery.
Tip: Spray the solution provided onto the surface, use manual or a drill brush to agitate the dirt and then use Warm water in the Bisell to extract the dirt by spraying water on the surface and extracting. Works better than mixing solution with water water directly in the Bissell.
I bought this cleaner because my puppy had a little accident on my suede sofa (only the once) and I couldn’t seem to get the smell completely out no matter what I tried.
I’m so happy with my purchase – it is brilliant. A little noisy but great suction and easy to use. I was amazed at the amount of dirt it got out of my sofa that ‘no-one really sits on’ and it got rid of the smell with ease!

After reading all comments good & bad, I decided to get it.. so glad I did, its amazing. I cleaned my 6 seater sofa within the hour and dried.
Super easy to put together and use. Small and compact, hose could be a little longer so it can reach back of sofa without lifting it up. Has a long cable so no need to move plugs half way through. Only had to fill up the water tank twice. .
Also cleaned our workplace carpet tiled floor (reception) was satisfying watching it lift the dirt lol
Also bought an upright one for floors and it’s also amazing (just have to go at snail speed with that one)

Very impressed by this. Nice size easy to use. Only downside had to empty three times to do a whole living room rug and quite noisy but I can live with that to be able to cheaply give my house a quick freshen up and any dirt or accident is easily cleaned away!
I’ve used this on some carpet stains, and it did do a fairly good job. It didn’t totally remove the stains, but certainly diminished them.
Spent well over an hour cleaning 3 seat cushions on our sofa today and the stains our toddler has decorated the sofa with are unfortunately still there. The material is quite rugged so perhaps it isn’t ideal for this machine, but hey ho. The water was absolutely revolting so it certainly does clean… But I can’t say it removes stains. If I could remove the covers they would fair far better in the washing machine.
I even tried steaming just before I used this cleaner… No effect.
It is very noisy, earplugs needed kind of noisy.
I am very impressed with car seats after 10 mins with this handy tool, they look like new.
Included bottle of cleaner is very small, suggest buying a larger bottle together with the machine.
With a young dog that doesn’t like going outside in the dark and the pouring rain it means that she sometimes has a little accident on the carpet. We had the other version of this which just had the normal handle and that ended up getting a bit whiffy and I managed to kill it by being a little aggressive with the tap when I was cleaning it!
This one came with the smaller handle attachment which has the small tank in the handle that stops liquids getting into the main tank. It works very well and it’s also much easier to clean as you can detach the handle and clean the little tank thoroughly. My only comment would be that when you remove the ‘little tank’ handle some of the cleaning solution can drip out but it’s not a big deal. Rather typically having used this a few times the dog is now house trained.
I have an upright bissell carpet cleaner that I love and I use the attachment tool a lot for small stains but it’s a hassle getting out the big machine for a few small stains. Saw this and thought it would come in handy to use in between full cleans to clean up spills from the kids and stains from the dog. Works amazing, so easy to fill, empty and clean and easy enough to carry around to all the stains and to use on the stairs! Best purchase eve

So far so good. Used to clean a rug in the house and the carpets and car matts in the family wagon. Good quality and cleans well. We also purchased a Bissell cleaning solution separate with Febreze, which had a nice clean scent. A small sample solution comes with the unit. Only downside is cleaning it. You have to rinse and clean the water and dirty water tank. Due to their design it does mean you have to leave them out a while to dry. Other than that really happy.
Brilliant easy little cleaner, gets up spills and accidents without any problems, by far the best thing I have ever brought. Looking to do my stairs with it.

I was very impressed with this machines cleaning and suction power, but returned mine because it squirted water out of the sides as well as downwards, which meant that after cleaning what I. wanted, I then had to clean up the mess that I had made by excessive and powerful squirting including into drawers with a slight gap in the top. It could also be a lot smaller if the tanks weren’t big enough to thouroughly clean a spot that’s at least 2m square. It’s hard work and has a 3″ brush, so you wouldn’t want to use it for large areas. I don’t want to score it too low though because it did do an excellent job of removing old cat wee stains and their smell.
We have 3 dogs. 2 are poodles and our poodles have sensitive tummy, they occasionally vomit now and then. This machine is great. Not only does it save us from having to take the big carpet cleaner out for small accidents, but it also leaves the area much drier than the big Vax cleaner we have (even though that’s the latest model too). In conclusion, this is an absolutely fantastic carpet/upholstery cleaner and it’s worth every penny. Well recommended.

This little cleaner is and does exactly what it says it does. I was shocked to see how well it cleaned up the couch that I have in my man cave ( garage) . Not only does this remove coffee stains, it even removed oil stains !!!! WTF yes I said oil stains !!! Use this little wizard with the bottles of fluid that is recommended and I’m sure it will remove any stain! My only concern is do not get fooled this is not a full/large carpet cleaner. I’m sure it would clean a full/large carpet however it is too small and would take a while. Although I’m sure it would clean a full carpet if your willing to put in the time. Fantastic little machine, it has removed any stain I’ve put it up against and breathed new life into a settee that I was going to replace ( thanks Bissell you saved me a few hundred quid ) I was shocked at how well this machine removes very stubborn stains with ease, I recommend that you purchase this and use the recommended cleaning fluids ! You will not be dissatisfied!

Use this for cleaning car carpets and fabric seats, it’s brilliant. Also for pet “accidents” indoors they are an excellent extraction cleaner.

I would say, probably t he best hand held carpet cleaner i have used. My cats behaviour changed and she started to wee downstairs…. on the carpet, if you have a cat, and its ever weed on carpet you will know the smell…ugh. I used this BISSELL SpotClean pet pro, with the Bissell cleaner, and not only did it pick it up but the smell went too, even though i gave it a going over twice. Don’t bother using other cleaning products like Urine out, or simular products, use the bissell one, it worked for me, great little machine.
Powerful & can be used for a larger carpet or rug, but will take longer. A lot of the grunt work is done by the unction & potions put in the cleaner. You mix together 2 or 3 to lift a smell or a persistent mark and the final mix plus the Bissell machine clears it all. You do get the measurements of how much to mix….it states it on the bottles or the water cylinder. I found out about the mixing because my old carpet cleaner leaked all over my carpet leaving a foul smell. I am happy to report smell is gone and I am . This machine has a longer hose & wand, plus also a much longer electrical cable. These spot cleaners are fabulous, great to use on the car & home due to the smaller dimensions. This Bissell has a special head you can fit that collects a smaller amount of say puppy pee and keeps it out of the big machine collecting bucket. It has been made with the spray, brush and small collection utensil so none of the smelly or yucky stuff doesn’t have to permeate the bucket. You remove the small container, by a twist from locked to unlock then clean it out….tada!!! Bissell is a quality make and decent priced….take it from someone who bought the very 1st Vax in the 1980’s. The cleaning solutions are a little pricey, but they do work.

I LOVE this machine best buy ever the price reflects the quality and performance of this brand the machine came very handy for e to clean my upholstery after it got dirty by building work 2which has just been carried out in our house the builers let plenty of mess which was made easy to clean using this machine It was easy to set up the machine very clear manual and easy to manoeuvre the machine to where every needed I struggled to open the lid off the dirty water box only to realise that you have to turn the handle clockwise to open but that was my mistake so I learned from my mistake as its written on the box itself.This is a MUST have machine if you have kids very easy to clean they stains spillage and also if your potty training this is easily used to clean up the leaks on the floor sofa or anywhere in the household so high recommend thumps up from this busy mummy .

The overall shampooing feature is fantastic. The spot cleaner tool doesn’t appear to work at all though so that’s not being used. Overall though, a great cleaner for anyone who only has small rugs and upholstery to clean.

I used 1.5 tanks to clean the seat cushions of a 7′ x 7′ corner sofa. The first image is mainly dust due to renovations.
It sprays quite a lot of solution, but it needs to. The suction is good, bit could be better in my opinion.
It does however, do the the job.
The second image is from car where I used about 1/2 tank. The seats, that were “clean” before hand resulted in the lovely small tank of what can only be describedas . So it does do the job to a satisfactory degree.
Yes, the areas Will still be damp. This is the standard result for any cleaner. You need to consider this when cleaning whatever you’re cleaning.
After, it is easy to clean. Clean warm water in the sink, or a bowl, and just vacuum it up. Easy. Empty waste tank, do it again. Elevate hose, after vacuuming clean water, then turn of the machine after say 30 seconds.
Leave to dry, put away. Quite simple.
Ideal for the smaller job that we all could do without. Clear instructions , easy to use, easy to empty and clean.
Great little portable to tool
it does have decent suction power and cleans ok but it doesn’t have self cleaning function like some of the others ?VAX , it also has a design flaw whereby bottle leaks between filling and feeding into machine thus creating a bit of extra work for itself …. doesn’t feel very robust but if you are gentle with it , it does a good enough job
As for results, can’t really complain.. giving 4 stars only because of it being hyped as the best of the best which it isn’
I absolutely love this machine I honestly don’t know I managed without it. I have an elderly dog who having the odd accident it is do easy to clean up and does a good job. I particularly like the cleaning head which captures the accidents and can be emptied before it goes into the main chamber.
Excellent product car came up clean, house carpet looks great again I would definitely recommend this cleaner especially as I’ve got little dogs who when greeting friends get a little excited and little tinkles are no longer a problem, very good on heavy foot traffic stains
This is a great product. I didn’t want to purchase an upright cleaner because of space restrictions. This product meant I could store elsewhere under the stairs or the cellar. It comes with 2 brush attachments and works well. Good quality and comes with its own small detergent. Needed something to clean our pets mess, which it did very well! I’d recommend this product because it has multiple uses too, like cleaning the sofas or even the cat upholstery
This replaced a 10 year old original spotclean that finally gave up. They seem to have fixed the things that caused failure on the previous unit, and although 50% bigger – it works almost twice as well.
If you have pets, then small patches of cat sick on the carpet or similar can be easily dealt with using the small reservoir head, which will do most small tasks.
Bigger stuff then means the main tank, but be prepared to rinse everything out properly afterwards if you want the machine to last.
We wouldn’t be without one now
We was given a second hand sofa from the mother in law that was in need of a deep clean. This worked its magic and took no time at all to come up clean. The hose isn’t very long so it does mean you have to hold it to reach the top of the sofa, however the power cord is very long and has to be wound back carefully so it all sits on the device. It is VERY loud and noisy so I turned it off after spraying the water and gave it a scrub with the brush before turning it back on to suck up the water. Very easy to clean after.

I used this to clean my rug and it was great brought it up looking like new. Easy to assemble and use. Good length cord for cleaning. Ideal for small cleaning jobs.
Does the JOB except were carpet had a double bed had to have a GO THREE Times before most of the dirt got removed .
Also the moisture does remain so make sure you do it in warm or sunny day and doors and windows open otherwise it takes up to 3 days and a heater.

This little machine is amazing!! The suction is great, not what you expect from such a little machine. I’m so happy with the spot clean it’s compact, easy to clean and the pet shampoo smells so fresh!!
The first SpotClean Pet Pro I ordered was faulty and had to be sent straight back. I thought the problem was that the trigger didn’t work properly as it hardly moved and no spray came out. On reflection, I think it had a faulty pump as the trigger on the replacement sent by Amazon (very promptly) also doesn’t squeeze very far but, by contrast, sprays well.
Just hours after the carpet cleaner arrived, one of my dogs was sick in the middle of the night after a fun day of eating stones, twigs and other savoury treats in the garden. I have owned a Bissell Big Green for about five years and find it excellent for cleaning a whole carpet but far too big and cumbersome to haul out just for spot cleaning, especially in the middle of the night. It was a relief to have the SpotClean to hand as it is lightweight and quick and easy to use. The pet mess cleaning tool is a real bonus as it saves having to clean up the mess by hand before shampooing and prevents the inside of the hose and dirty water tank from becoming too soiled. It took me a little while to get used to gauging exactly where to hold the cleaning head for the spray to hit the right spot and the best angles for holding the head for using the brush and and vacuum. The cleaner works best if it is held fairly lightly and used slowly. On the whole, it did a pretty good job. There is a small, faint stain remaining on the carpet which will probably come out next time it is cleaned.
While I was pleased with the ease of use and general performance, there are a few points worth mentioning which could do with improvement. First, the cleaner is quite noisy and could wake others in the property, and probably neighbours too, if used at nighttime. Second, for some bizarre and unfathomable reason, Bissell have stopped putting the helpful two filling lines for water and cleaning solution on the clean tank. There is now only one line for water and and instruction to add 2 fluid ounces (approx 60ml) of cleaning solution but no measuring cup is provided. I used my digital kitchen scales and a cup from another appliance to measure the correct amount of solution but if you haven’t got either to hand it would be sheer guesswork. Third, it looks as if the transparent cover on the pet mess tool can probably be removed for cleaning after use but is so fiddly to remove that I gave up. My manual dexterity and eyesight are not what they used to be. Finally, the design of the machine is small and neat. It comes with the normal cleaning head and the pet mess tool. One can be attached to the end of the hose and left in place but there is nowhere on board to store the spare cleaning tool. In my house it stands the risk of being found and chewed up by one of my dogs, the fate of so many other loose cleaning tools. For these reasons I have knocked one * off the score. Come on, Bissell, just a few small improvements would make the SpotClean Pet Pro an excellent cleaner!
I swear by this machine gets mess up and leaves no stain behind essential for those accidents left by a young pup. I tried shop bought pet products but nothing worked where this has been a life saver. Go with the solution too as it’s brilliant.

Absolutely love this product! Cant believe how clean my carpet looks now. Ive used it loads since i bought it a month ago, including on some fabric chairs i nearly recovered. They came out looking like new. Highly recommend this, definitely saves money in the long run.

I was trying to decide whether to purchase this unit of the Pro Spot Cleaner, this one appears to be the same specification motor etc. the main difference being the attachments. I wanted something small enough to be packed away, and this coils up the cable and hose easily so that it fits back in the box for storage. I have cleaned spots, plus a full carpet and a sofa, you get used to judhging how much water and cleaner to use, that is probably my only gripe, they are very specific about the amount of detergent to be used yet do not supply any measuring cup???
We have a puppy and we have been looking for a good way to take care of toilet accidents. I was a bit skeptical at first as how well this little machine will get the job done but it is simply amazing! We love it! It cleans every spot, leaving a fresh scent and making carpets and upholstery looking like new. I very well made investment, totally worth every penny.

Really cracking little kit. Perfect for cleaning the arms of the sofa and cleaning up after spills on carpet. Would recommend to friends or family! Saw lots of great reviews of it on a Facebook Mums group which is why I purchased. Lived up to expectation.

So far I’ve cleaned two sets of Sofa’s and chairs, 4 large rugs, and car seats in my Volvo. You wouldn’t believe the colour of the water from them!!

I had to refill the solution a couple of times doing these jobs but that wasn’t difficult!!
I don’t think I’d like to do carpets, it would do them in a small room but you would be going back and forth refilling the solution!!
The cleaning liquid itself works very well but at 20 it isn’t cheap. I might look for a cheaper alternative!

Easy to move around as light and compact. Cleans very well for a small machine. Very impressed. Good value for money. The cleaning fluid is a bit expensive though compared to other brands.
Really love this little, lightweight machine! Used it for the first time today and we’ve cleaned the carpets and upholstery of two cars and as there was enough cleaning solution left, I’ve cleaned my armchair. The cleaning solution is hand controlled and goes really far so no back and forth to the kitchen tap. The suction is powerful and efficient so the resulting dirty water was a pleasant surprise. My only criticisms are that the picture instructions were unhelpful so rely on your own common sense. Second, the button for the cleaning solution spray is easy to press by mistake because of its position so you either wet the area again or hold it in a way that avoids this. Other than that, a brilliant machine that does a great job!
I’ve been eyeing this up for ages but I finally got my first home and decided now is the perfect opportunity to get this!
I wanted to do a big deep clean as I could tell previous owner wasn’t upto my standard of cleaning after a good half of the carpet was the tank was full of dirt.
Also once you get close to the full tank line the hose suction stops which is really neat.
Great thing. Beginners mistake put boiling water in to clean tank and melted it.. Only cost 15 from ebay to replace it. Ended up doing it the old fashond way by scrubbing brush. But the suction was, fantastic and solution to wash the stair carpet fantastic. 5 hours later but the carpet look like new. Would recomend to anyone the pet spot cleaner for all of you needs. Best thing I’ve ever bought. Cheaper than paying someone to come a do the same job as the pet pro bissell cleaner. The fresh smell in the carpet from the solution is brilliant.
I thought this was a bargain given that I have cleaned a sofa, a rug and a set of curtains with just cold water and a spot of detergent. I’m sure it would be great for car seats and carpets too. The curtains were dry clean only and had dirty stripes in the folds where our four dogs had walked past the floor length curtains for the past 3 years wiping their sides onto the fabric. I only noticed when cleaning the skirting boards and was quite shocked. Not wanting to pay to have them dry cleaned, I spot cleaned them with the Bissel and you can no longer tell we have four, 12in high dogs who like to chase past these curtains each day. The amount of dirt in the water after just a few minutes of use is testament to either the power of the Bissel or the power of dogs to use each and every surface to dispose of their dirt.
Easily portable and easy to use at the offending spot.
I used this machine to clean the arms of my two settee’s. They didn’t look that dirty until I started cleaning using the Bissell cleaner. It’s not that large to store and it was easy to clean the machine afterwards – I checked out the YouTube video which was helpful too. I got a mark off of the carpet as well which was super easy to do.
Great cleaner and was surprised with the size of it and power. Very easy to clean after using it too. Great value for money as I got it when it was on special offer well pleased with the little machine.
Wow what can I say about this? I bought it as my sisters dog had diarrhoea all over my back car seats, got delivered next day on prime. It is WOW. It’s light weight, fits under the kitchen sink and is really sleek designed. Easy to use and it cleans AMAZING. As you can see in the picture before and after it got rid of all the dog mess even in the weird mesh fabric of my scirocco seats, it’s precise and the spray is large enough to cover the whole seat in one swoop, it’s noisy but that’s to be expected, it comes with a small bottle or bissel cleaner.. I used three capfuls and have done the entire back seats and half the lounge carpet. Wonderful product like cannot recommended enough, 100% worth the money!
I’m only sorry I didn’t take a photo before! Buy with confidence.
I cleaned my sofa, carpented stairs, and puppy splash mat with this and to say I’m impressed is an understatement!
You would never know that this had poo on it a moment ago.

Easy to use, pet and child safe detergent which is a massive bonus for us, lovely fresh (but not invasive) fragrance without being full of horrible chemicals and look at the filth that came out! It doesn’t over saturate as you control the spray, so that’s great too. I can’t fault it.
I’ve been raving to my friends who all probably think I’m insane… Best buy this year so far.
Lovely little machine, does a great job on cleaning. My only gripe is that it’s too noisy and deafens you whilst your using it.
This is a good cleaner and will remove stains but a bigger head would be preferable but your rugs do look brand new after!
I wasn’t that impressed when I first used it, but with time I figured out that you need to spray a lot more than I initially thought and now I can’t imagine not having it. It’s a must have if you have a puppy. The manual is simplified and it didn’t answer all of my questions, but I got there by trial and error.
Really good value, especially when your toilet training a puppy. The secondary water collector is useful for the messier accidents and just goes in the dishwasher after a rince.
Best purchase ever. Large water container. Washed all seats in the jeep and still have half a jug and the seats where spotless. Comes with a small bottle of product. Very impressed
Brought this due to being on offer, had the choice of an upright and this one for the same price, went for this one due to storage, I am so glad we did as its easier to store, it may be small but it is mighty!. I have cleaned stubborn stains off my old living room carpet, cleaned my settee arms and ottoman, my carpeted stairs and my car. I cannot believe how much dirt it has shifted. Well worth the money. I will never fork out for a valet again as valeted in the past as some stains still there…this brought them right up! 5 stars!!!
My dog has been quite unwell over the last few weeks and was vomiting every night so I bought this spot cleaner to make my early morning clean up job a little easier. It is so good!!! Really cleans the carpet brilliantly and super easy to use. It very light and easy to carry up and down the stairs. I did consider buying an upright so I could clean larger carpets, but the easy portability of this spot cleaner is an advantage for me. Also easier to stow away when not in use. I love it – a game changer for me!
Just got it today and tried it right away on the stairs and on a big of cream colored carpet my dog has taken a fancy to making her own spot. The tool attached on the end is a bit small, the hose isn’t terribly long, and the machine is loud. BUT!!! Well worth the money! The cream color is back! The stairs are dirt free! And it smells wonderful! Overall, really pleased with the purchase… especially for the price! If you’re hesitating, just do it if you can afford it. It’s worth it… it was for me!

Bought this I only have carpet on my stairs and landing and was going to pay to have it cleaned . But I thought as an investment I’d buy this the carper came up really good had a lovely smell also done the sofa and the car all came up like new. It’s a bit noisy but think that’s expected. It comes with a small bottle of solution. Then I bought a spare which is a bit pricy at 17.99 but I think il get a long time out of it. Overall its great when you see how much dirt comes off.
It’s light enough and compact enough to easily move around areas.
The hose pipe from the unit to the tool is a little on the short side for cleaning stairs, this means that you have to carry or keep moving the main unit down the stairs with you. Which is fine as its compact and light enough to do so, albeit it a 2+metre hose pipe would have been better. (Hence 4 not 5 stars)
The spraying of the cleaning fluid – you need to be slightly patient as the spray is a little slower than I would have liked, and you will need to give a few passes to adequately saturate the area. There was more than enough fluid to spray and clean a whole set and a half of stairs.
You are the energy behind the agitation using the brush heads. It take a fair amount of energy and effort to ‘scrub’ the area to ensure the fluid is worked in and stains lifted etc.
Tested it at my aunts house on her stair case carpets which haven’t been properly cleaned since install. . . 35 years ago! Results were amazing, rejuvenated the stair case carpet massively.
Cleaning the machine – tanks are easy to remove and rinse out. Hose pipe….Bissell UK instructions indicate sucking clean water through the pipe to clean it. I would say invest in the Bissell Hydrorinse clip available from Bissell USA (and amazon.com) – clips on the end of the pipe where the tool goes, then you can use the machine spray system to spray clean water or left over cleaning fluid through the pipe to clean it out!
Overall very happy with it so far. If that should change, this will be updated 🙂
