Very easy to use and a solid bit of kit. Can be a bit heavy for using overhead but all in an excellent bit of kit. The only downside is the carry case is a bit flimsy

The blade is not mounted near the front so difficult to see if the blade is following your line on not.
The spare blades are not so widely available in the shops, but can get them online
Bought for the wife to undertake small tasks. Works as it should. A bit heavy in longer use and vibrates quite a lot but works as it should.
I bought a second one because it is such a useful tool. However, the blade holder on my first one broke with only intermittent use over a number of years, so I will use this one less robustly and hope for the best.
Great tool for small jobs and large branches, flexibility as a jigsaw is useful.

It is a very versitile tool and can get into quite difficult places to access.
I tend to use it in the garden for cutting large branches or small trunks which would be more difficult with a hand saw or bow saw. I am 80 years old and so find this a really helpful product. There can be some vibration and so it needs to be held firmly – but really effective and at quite a competitive price. I would have liked a slightly longer saw blade.

I bought this to saw wardrobes and chairs, so I could throw it in the bin over the months instead of ordering a bulk collection!!
It does the job well, its just decent nothing special, shame blades aren’t longer though.

This was a replacement for its smaller model. This has more power, is heavier and is more robust. I’ve used 5 or so times now to cut up firewood and it is well up to the task.

The wood saw was what I purchased it for I had a few branches to lop and the saw did the job easily.
Not too heavy to lift shoulder height to take down a tree.

Mainly used for cutting wood but the metal blade is very good for breaking down pallets through the nails

I had the smaller version a few years ago to trim back branches of some Leylandii and it did a good job, but was a bit slow. This saw is so much quicker – it has a faster speed and more power. It is also very easy to fit or change the blades.
It was so quick that i used it to cut up an old wooden patio table which needed to b got rid of, and instead of a complete evening’s work, both jobs were done in about 20 minutes!

Excellent gadget. Used it to cut up old roof timbers prior to chopping up for kindling. Saved hours of time and hard work with hand saw.

Not a bad saw at all, I have only used it on wood and it works well. My only gripe would be the length of the lead, really could do with being a bit longer.

I came across the scorpion, which covered all of my needs to prune and replace a jigsaw I had just broken. What a great piece of kit, I have used it for both purposes and it has been really impressive. The supplied blades are so easy to install and remove and of good quality. It comes neatly packed in a sturdy box. Replacement blades are readily available and not too expensive. Highly recommended as a great all rounder.
Really good product just make sure you buy the right replacement blade/s when you need to replace the main wood blade. This is the 500 not 400. The auto cutter helps cut wood with ease.
