Worked for 5 months then the cable connector in the back on the mic stopped working, i tried unplugging and plugging cable back in as mic just stopped working, and all that happened was the cable connector just pushed into the back of the mic instead, im hoping it can replaced only had it for 5 months. Before it stopped working i was thrilled with it, worked well and was very easy to set up, however not impressed with how long its lasted, but hoping mine is just faulty. Turned out mine was just faulty. Was replaced with a brand new one directly from supplier. They were very helpful and didn’t take long to sort out.

Qualitt und Verarbeitung sind top. Hat auch ein anstndiges Gewicht und fllt sich sehr wertig an.

Qualitativ ordentlich verbaut. Schnell montiert und auf dem Tisch platziert. Hlt fr mich was es verspricht. Ich hatte nicht wirklich Lust, ein Mikrofon beim spielen direkt im Gesicht zu haben, suchte aber dennoch gute Aufnahmequalitt.
Den noise cancelling modus muss ich nicht nutzen, da ich das Mikrofon in Verbindung mit RTX Voice (nvidia) verwende und die Software macht von Haus aus schon einen super Job was das betrifft.
Das mitgelieferte Kabel war fr mich ausreichend lang. Natrlich kann man auch gerne ein anderes, lngeres verwenden, sofern bentigt.
Alles in allem von der Qualitt her, der Verarbeitung und dem angedachten Einsatzzweck bin ich positiv berrascht.
Besser als herkmmliche Headset Mikrofone. Ich fr meinen Teil kann eine Empfehlung aussprechen. Man macht wenig falsch mit diesem Mikrofon, wenn man nicht gerade mit einem Hardware-Mischpult arbeitet (dann braucht es schon xlr etc). Aber auch dafr gibt es ja bspw voicemeeter und hnliches.

Son buenos micrfonos. Los uso para complementar grabaciones en mis videos, para podcast o para conferencias en lnea. Creo que las opciones que tiene (1 switch con 3 posiciones) son bastante limitadas. No tiene botn de encendido, lo apagas al desconectarlo. No hay volumen, por lo que todo debe ser via software. Es buena opcin si eso no te molesta, pero si quieres algo ms controlable, mejor uno con esas opciones.
Es plug n play, por lo que no es necesario configurar nada en la PC o MAC para que funcione. Quiz debes configurar la entrada en cada programa, pero eso depende de cada software.
Got this for a podcast I’ve started and have to say I love it.
Clear as a bell, to these ears broadcast quality, and absolutely idiot proof. Plugs straight in, no fuss or faffing around. Great little stand too although not suitable for what I wanted. I then bought the Innogear desk mic stand and they were prefect together.
This particular mic has three settings. This is good for a number of difference setting. Very impressed. Works straight of the box

I did look at a number of you tube videos to get a good idea on the mic and one thing I would say is that many people say that you need the mic within 6 inches for good pickup, well Amazon reader, this is not true, I have worked with the Snowball about 1 foot away and had no issues with quality drop.
I would recommend getting a boom arm as well, makes it easier to position the Snowball rather than use the supplied stand.
Don’t get me wrong, the supplied stand is good, I just wanted more room on the desk.

I like it, clear sound and does the job.
Mine was discounted because of some sort of damage to outside of the product. I’d assumed a scratch, or a dent, or some sort of blemish. But I’m yet to find anything of the sort…bonus.
Mine came, unlike the picture in the description, with the USB mini B connector (not Standard Type B) and the black mini B cable (not transparent and silver). Also the metallic tape in the middle of the ball is in black ink (not blue) and looks a lot cheaper.
Working fine, but a bit odd to find these differences.

Snowball (not Snowball iCE) with USB mini B like mine was found on amazon.com (US) product page. I hope the bluemic.com will update similarly soon.
I had a look inside (forget the warranty), and found a new PCB board with CM6542 chip (previous version seems to have CM6317A, iCE has CM6327A both according to teardown YouTube videos).
It still had two condensor microphones for the three recording patterns (iCE has 1 microphone).
If the price is as same as iCE (it was, in my case), this still is a good option.
Easy plug and play device. Great quality as I was using it on Discord and playing Overwatch. Also bought a pop filter to go with it which made it even better. You get what you pay for, and in this case it was worth it.

Comes with a tripod, which I don’t use. As I found the microphone was a little too high and blocked my monitor view slightly.
I use it on my desk, sat on a bottle cap to ensure it stays still.
Ensure you have a sufficiently powered USB port that can support this, as it doesn’t come with any means to power externally.
Ill recommend this over the “Blue Yeti Microphone” because how good the quality is, you don’t even need a noise suppression or anything to make this Microphone good, Also it crystal clear! The durable is amazing! I drop this with the box several times but not anything broken, and also nothing is missing! I would rate this 5 Stars. The Conclusion is that this Microphone is 1. Cheaper, 2. Durable, 3. Quality. Definitely would recommend this.

Very easy to use. Using Windows 10 I simply plugged in and it works. I bought for using for online tutorials after my headset disintegrated with use.

Peu emcombrant, la tte pivote horizontalement 360 degrs mais aussi lgrement verticalement ce qui permet de l’orienter vers le visage tout en restant hors champ. La tige verticale est tlscopique (une dizaine de cm), le pied trs stable. Port USB “client device” standard au dos de l’appareil, on peut juste regretter qu’il n’y ait pas de rglage de volume ou de bouton on/off sur l’appareil lui-mme.

Great product, hand when mine came in it had a rust spot on the front, not sure why but hasn’t effected anything about the product.
The setup of this mic is easy. Just plug and play. The directional mic settings are good. I tend to always leave it on 1. I did have to buy the accessory for it to stand up though.
The only downside was likely caused by me but the stand that slots into the bottom caused the mic to split slightly. Didn’t affect it’s performance though.

I’ve been using this microphone for the past 4 years without any issues. The sound is perfect for gaming and vocal recordings. Would buy for musical recordings but it’s perfect for everything else.

It’s a good mic, but too quiet. Also, whenever I put my lips on it, I get an electric shock. And because it’s quiet, I usually have to shove the microphone down my throat.
la instalacin es tan sencilla que simplemente lo conectas y windows te lo instala en un minuto y ya esta listo para usarse con cualquier software (streamlabs, voicemod, audacity, lol, etc) les recomiendo conectarlo a un puerto USB DAC-UP si cuentan con uno.
aunque la diferencia entre el micrfono de un headset (o una webcam) es muy superior, hay algunos micrfonos en su gama que probablemente lo hacen mejor, solo que necesitan mas accesorios para funcionar, la ventaja (y desventaja) principal del snowball es que es usb no necesita de fuente alimentacin extra ni cables extra, y su tripie pequeo hace la funcin aunque siempre es mejor ponerle un brazo que se sujete del escritorio para tener mas flexibilidad.
si tu presupuesto es ajustado (como el mio) pero quieres algo con buena calidad de sonido este es tu micrfono, si cuentas con un poco mas de efectivo te recomendara ver otras opciones.

I have been using this mic for 18 months and use it primarily for singing with my Galaxy S8 plus. The quality is excellent, the only issue I have is lowest part of my voice register get cut off on low volume but if I push the note a little it gets picked up. I am very satisfied with this USB condenser mic.
Sono una musicista professionista e cercavo un microfono per poter registrare la voce e il mio strumento (arpa) con una qualit di suono accettabile. Ovviamente questo non un microfono da studio di registrazione ma fa il suo discreto dovere e mi sento di raccomandarlo a chi cerca un prodotto con queste caratteristiche.
Come indicato da altre recensioni, l’opzione di registrazione “omni” un po’ fumo negli occhi. Invece la possibilit di diminuire il volume di 10dB al momento di registrare (per evitare che il suono venga distorto) funziona bene ed molto pratica. Riproduce lo spettro di frequenze in modo abbastanza corretto, senza buchi vistosi o eccesso di volume in alcune fascie.
Facilissimo da usare e collegare al computer (ho un vecchio MacBook e non ci sono stati problemi).
I was worried about buying this because of the mixed reviews. But surprisingly the sound is very crisp, can easily remove background noise using apps like Audacity. The only problem I have is the bright red light at the front (should have been at the back) and the adjustment is quite poor. If I want to raise the mic higher, it doesn’t stay put at that height because the screw isn’t getting tight enough. That’s the only reason why I gave it 4*, other than that sound quality is amazing.

The microphone was a lot bigger than expected. It’s the size of a baseball, really clean looking, and formal.
It comes with a metal rod that screws into the microphone and a mini tripod for you to put on a desk. I would suggest that the screws would be a bit tighter thought so the tripod doesn’t let the microphone go when applying some pressure on it. At the beginning, I did have some trouble setting it up and had to look at some sources, but after a few days it worked perfectly. Another suggestion would to have the red light at the top to turn off when the microphone is not in use. If you were considering the snowball over the yeti, this is far better. It works just as well as the yeti does at a cheaper price. Comparing the snowball to the Nessie, I would personally pick the snowball because you can add a microphone desk extender and pop filter’s really easily.
Would recommend buying this product.

Bought this microphone for podcasting with multiple people, it’s perfect. Stand is adjustable so you can have it quite tall or standard depending on your set up. Quality was clear and improved with a good editing software to input to. Omnidirectional feature works fantastically, though background environmental noise was picked up so maybe look in to accessories if that’s a concern.
I used to use the Ice and the sound quality was “meh”. This mic sounds significantly better, and for the small increase in price, it’s worth it. It doesn’t pick up my keyboard strokes, desk movement or background noise even half as much as the ICE did. Very happy with this mic and will buy another in the future.
Overall a very good mic for beginners who want to podcast.. as well as online tutorials..

Me gusto la utilidad relacin calidad-precio, pues por ser un micrfono de 75 dolares es bastante claro. La construccin del micrfono es rigida, la forma de bola de nieve lo hace ver precioso y es Plug N’ Play, as que no tienes que descargar nada (aparte del software donde quieras grabar) para probarlo.

Comprato usato su amazon a una cinquantina di euro stato un vero affare. E’ un microfono semi professionale che mi serviva per registrare del parlato. Suono non potente ma molto equilibrato, ottimo anche senza filtro pop. Per registrare al meglio una singola voce occorre avvicinarsi molto al microfono.
After purchasing one a few weeks ago I’ve now invested in another. Great quality and range. My only issue is the phyislca quality of the second purchase, the cable is white and the port is different from the pictures/first purchase, the quality sounds similar, maybe slightly limited with the range but still works. Didn’t know if this was the updated version or a bad version of the product, overall great experience though.
Debido al poco presupuesto, estuve perdiendo el tiempo comprando otros modelos ms econmicos, tuve que devolverlos porque la verdad es que era mucha presentacin pero poca eficiencia, y al final lo barato sale caro. Al final me tuve que decidir por uno de este precio porque estaba cansado de perder el tiempo, y en efecto, si lo hubiera sabido lo habra comprado desde el principio. Fue llegar, desempaquetar, conectarlo al USB de mi porttil, y en menos de 30 segundos ya estaba listo para usar. Tanto el micro como el trpode que trae son robustos y de mucha calidad, la verdad es que al final no es una inversin elevada porque las prestaciones son monumentales. Dispone de 3 posiciones en una pestaa trasera para graduar el patrn de polaridad de la grabacin, si es para podcast o conversacin online, para msica e instrumentos y el tercero para sala de conferencias en modo 360 grados. Yo lo uso para grabar mis clases online y hacer podcasts y estoy encantado con l. Si te dedicas a este tipo de temas, es un micrfono que no te va a decepcionar, las prestaciones son suficientes o ms bien de sobra para todo esto y no te hace falta ms. Si quieres le puedes aadir un brazo extensible, que yo tambin compr especfico para micrfonos Blue Yeti Snowball.
I absolutely love this mic. It’s fairly cheap but feels professional and when playing games my friends always notice my sound quality and ask me what mic I have. Would recommend to anyone who wants to start streaming or anything of that so
The audio quality is auprising for the price. I use it mostly for online gaming.
However I believe you can get seperate sound managing software to control the sound going to your speakers and from your mic, which can fix this if it is an issue for you.
i bought this mic as a replacement for my Blue Yeti which has been broken/faulty for some time. after looking at getting an xlr condenser mic i decided to try out this Blue Snowball. i purchased one that was used and from the amazon warehouse as there was 10+ knocked off the price. it said there was slight cosmetic damage to the item but upon receiving the item it is clear that there is no cosmetic damage at all and it has simply just been resealed in its original box. tested and fully working amazing quality and works great with Logic Pro X. highly recommend!
For how much this microphone costs, the sound quality is great. The switch on the back to change modes allows for more versatility than similarly priced microphones. The stand is plastic and feels a little cheap but fulfils its job well enough. The light on the front is kind of annoying and I would rather it was moved to the back at least. Overall, recommended.
One of the best sounding microphones iv’e ever heard. I don’t know how they can sell these at such a cheap price compared to what your getting. I would recommend it over the Blue ICE witch is slightly cheaper but there is no option to change the microphones environment to optimise sound quality. On the back of the microphone there are three options, one is for music, one is for large amount of people (standard) , and one is for close up talking witch provides the clearest voice. The ice only includes the standard witch is still okay but getting the best experience especially if your using it for YouTube on your own, I would recommend this one. The large crowd feature is for when there is more than one person (quite useful), and the music one is well… for music.
The Snowball has a excellent round shape that gives it the look every knows, but this also makes it rather durable.
The red light is a good indicator that the microphone is working correctly and I was able to mount a universal stand thanks to the size of the bolt hole witch fitted perfectly. Adding a pop filter and a stand honestly makes this sound like the more expensive Blue microphones or any microphone in the 300+ range
Overall great microphone highly recommended to anyone looking for a amazing microphone at a unbelievably low price. And I will continue to use it as i have been for the past 2 years.
Excellent quality mic, it has 3 settings which help to either catch more ambient sounds, or limit the the range to just right in front of the mic. …I get complements all the time in games from people telling me how sexy my voice is, and that I should be a radio host; this literally happens to me multiple times a week!

Been using this microphone for 3 years now, great microphone for the price, the quality is excellent. I’ve been using it for communicating online (such as Skype/Discord) and recording gameplay. It does pick up background noise in however, but it’s something I’ve overlooked. It has 3 settings, although I only use one. You may be better off buying the iCE version to save a bit of money if you’re going to use it for communication.
I brought this for 55 back then, for the quality of the microphone, this was a very good value for money if you’re not looking to spend too much on one.

Le istruzioni servono a poco, tanto che sono dovuta andare sul sito ufficiale Blue per capire come usarlo.
Scarico un programmino a caso per registrare, collego il microfono al pc ed inizio a cantare… Devo dire che registra veramente bene, suono molto pulito in tutte tre le funzioni. Lo consiglio vivamente.
I purchased this for a mic to use with Skype for captioning through Skype at a literary festival. Worked well if placed close to the speakers (within 6 feet or so) but did not fare as well in large rooms where we were unable to place the device close to the speaker and therefore were dependent picking up audio as it came through the sound system. Audio dropped in the skype call when it went longer than 2 hours though I suspect this was a Skype issue, not an issue with the camera.

I use the Blue Snowball Omnidirectional microphone daily with Skype for landline and cellphone calls. It has made a world of difference in as much as my contacts in the US and Germany have no problems hearing me. I don’t have to be right by the computer either, and it’s so good, my contacts have been able to hear the birds singing in my garden when I have my french doors open. A really great product.
So ok this product works great. No questions there the only thing is that it is a bit expensive especially here in Mexico. (you could buy so many tacos.) But like i said its great it gets the job done and the quality is great.

Decided to treat myself as wanted a more ‘professional’ sound and have been very impressed. No issues from sound being picked by near equipment but one word of warning it can pick up noise from a great distance if people are talking while you are recording.
Got a refurbished microphone it was ICE condenser it was clearly indicated. I feel like it’s volume became weaker after I reinstalled the drivers but if I hadn’t done it. It was working great and loud

Plug and Play at it’s finest. Windows found it no problem and installed the correct drivers. Selected it via Skype and it works like a charm!

Plugged it in and let Windows install the drivers… and it JUST WORKED. The metal tripod is at least 50% heavier than the microphone itself; the threading inside the mic is metal so there’s no fear of stripping them. It’s pretty stable on a flat surface.
Sound Quality: Super Good!
I just set it to omni directional (setting#3) and set it in the middle of the family room floor when we’re Skyping and everyone can be heard. It can pick up audio if you sit beside it and speak softly.
Comments: It’s definitely more expensive than some, but the sound quality for the price and for the purpose I got it for is excellent.
Very good microphone as a starter mic. It collects dust, so give it a clean every once and a while, but the audio is crisp and clean for talking with friends and with some editing is amazing for YouTube starting out.

Works fine as a desktop microphone for gaming. In that role you can skip the pop filter if you want, though it certainly wouldn’t do any harm to add one. The tripod mount is nice, but for my desktop setup I need the mic to sit a little bit lower than the mount allows. Fortunately the height-adjustment portion of the mount is removable, and removing it shaves a few inches off the overall height. Perfect.

El micrfono se conecta muy fcilmente, el sistema operativo lo detecta sin problemas, en mi caso Windows 10, lo pruebo y la verdad es que debes tener en cuenta que recoge el sonido bastante bajo, y que tienes que configurar el sonido del micro para que se escuche correctamente, desconozco si esto pasar en todos los micros o solo en esta marca. Tras haber realizado varias grabaciones puedo decir que no escucho ningn ruido de fondo, pitidos ni absolutamente nada, lo que te ahorra mucho trabajo en la edicin de sonido. Tiene tres formatos de uso, yo lo utilizo normalmente en la posicin 1 para gravar audio de vdeos y podcast.
Its a snowball and everyone knows that a Snowball sounds great and is at an expert price. Would recommend over the other cheaper version of the snowball however it does not beat a Blue Yeti.
Sto usando il prodotto e l’audio davvero eccellente. Ben design, non piccolo ma fa bella figura su una scrivania. Non serve nessun editing. Pu essere utile comprare un filtro Antipop (io lo ho acquistato)

It is very sturdy and great quality. The voice quality is great, although you would expect to have a good mixer and post processing to sound even better. Good at cutting out background noise but my room isn’t very noisy besides my computer fans.
