Really like this piece of kit- nice and durable, good bass, and battery lasts a good while per charge.
Only disappointment is (unless I’m working it wrong) you can only pair one unit at a time with it, which is frustrating as we have it placed in the kitchen and the two of us would like to pair with more than one ‘phone….

Excellent sound quality for size, sturdy construction and battery life is exceptional, really good value for money.
I have used for 2 months, the speaker is good but there are things people should know before buy. The battery using in the maximum volume is 10h. It’s a good speaker to use inside space with around 10 people, outside in open spaces with more than 20 people the quality of the music start to get bad and hard to hear. The control of the volume is on the speaker and if you change on your smartphone there will not be a difference in the volume, I’m enjoying the speaker it’s enough now but next summer I’ll look for a better. Brilliant speaker for the price. Great sound and no distortion when turned full volume. Only thing was when I tried to register the 48 month warranty it wouldn’t let me!!!! I got it for 67.99, but would have paid the 12 or so extra if I knew I wasn’t going to get the warranty. Nether the less still great product and hopefully will last.
Amazing sound with quality tones either low or high in volume from a box that looks really good and is solid enough to take the bumps, and robust enough to repel the occasional spots of rain outside. Altogether, quality casing, quality sound and quality price. Definitely recommend this 🙂
I was debating what speaker to get and had my eye on this and eventually took the plunge.. best plunge ever! It’s amazing I’ve not even had it over 50% volume yet it’s so loud. Bass is really good, love the design of it. I very rarely leave reviews tbh but I had to for this because from the minute I turned it on I was in love with it, I take it everywhere now lol, oh and the battery lasts ages too, just buy it!

This speaker puts out a great sound. It’s got bass that could flip an elephant over but the overall sound is really clear. Battery life has been great so far too. Happy with this purchase. You can pair up with a 2nd speaker too. I haven’t done that yet but I’m tempted to try that. Reckon the sound would be epic. Best value for money I’ve spent on speakers, and I’ve had my fair few!
Good item but a bit large and bulky. I got this because I needed something loud enough outdoors during corona. Did the trick but I found a different make that was as good but a bit more attractive.
Has been fantastic I use it to boost the sound of my mobile when watching my favourite subscription channels , I am 20 stone and trod on it on the stairs and it also survived that so is sturdily made
Straight to the point.
Pros:
– Pairs easily, quickly. No stupid voiceover in bad Chinglish like ‘bluetooce connnekt’. It just makes a pleasant beep when paired.
– Goes loud enough for a site radio and has volume control and 2 EQ modes. I never change them as there’s not much in it
– Decent amount of bass for such a small thing
– Add more bass by placing on top of a table. Trestle table I have makes this thing sound like it’s larger
– Powers on and off nice and quickly
– Battery indicator is useful, if a little inaccurate as there are just 3 lights
– Battery lasts forever, reckon it must be 20-30 hours or more
– USB-C charging so modern, and a thick rubber cover on it to keep it safe
– Can be used to charge your phone etc. not that I’ve ever done that, but it can
– Solid and sturdy, taken knocks, covered in dust and crap from all the work around it, and still going strong
– Great value for money compared to the branded site radios
Cons:
– Bass isn’t as good as say a Makita/DeWalt site radio, but then it’s FAR cheaper
– Fairly heavy. I wouldn’t want to carry it around all day
– When it gets to max volume, there’s a long pause and beep to tell you so which I find annoying. It should beep at the same volume as fading the music out – that’d be better but very minor point
– Slow slow charging. Probably 0.5A I’d say, so takes a looooooong time to fill up, but once full lasts seemingly days. Not charged it in weeks and been banging tunes for hours each day
– Codec support is limited to standard bluetooth, there’s no aptX or such like. But then at this size, for this purpose that matters absolutely not.
Recommendation:
If you can get the 15% discount that I got when purchasing, it’s an absolute steal. If you want more bass and proper site radio for loads of lads outside, probably best to get sommat bigger. But for a smaller group in an average size house, this is more than sufficient.
Excellent piece of equipment small but powerful, bought this for outdoor dance classes, wasn’t sure the kids would be able to hear the music but it works well. Very happy with this!

Hands down, the most impressive Bluetooth speaker I’ve ever purchased! Loved it so much I bought another. Incredible clarity from the low end all the way through to the higher frequencies.
I wasn’t expecting very much for 80 but I was very pleasantly surprised indeed. This unit is highly portable being small and light, and comes with a very practical carrying strap. It’s easy to use and the initial charge took less than an hour. It was very easy to pair with my I-phone. The biggest surprise however was with the sound quality. The sound it produces is superb, especially considering it’s compact dimensions. There is some control over the bass and treble; not exactly an equaliser but useful never-the-less. It is perfectly loud enough, again surprisingly so for such a small box. Sound technology really has progressed over the years! I am very pleased with this purchase.

Loud and surprisingly clear! There’s a little bit of distortion on full blast bit back it off 1 and it’s gone. I’ve played country, metal and rap on this and it handled the lot. Really pleased with this purchase. It’s going to be great for work and camping trips. I was worried how it would handle metal as no-one on YouTube demos it with metal but it’s great.

This is a very robust piece of kit. The sound is very good and has a deep base. I have decided to buy another one to create a stereo effect.
The only downside is that it is a little heavy I think due to the quality of the internal parts.

Bought one for my husband a long time ago now but recently purchased another one for him so that they can connect together
The sound is very clear and very loud the house shakes it’s that loud
But it’s amazing quality and 100% recommend these especially as a pair
Now for other things these can do as it’s not just a speaker
We have used these on long walks as they have the ability to charge 4 items per speaker which I love and now for some issues we had
if anyone has any issues with not connecting and unable to find the speaker you need to reset the whole speaker (took me a moment to figure it out) but once found it’s easy enough to reset
As for the battery we have these on everyday and charge once a week
This speaker really packs a punch. It’s nice and loud while still being clear. Good range of frequencies and doesn’t struggle with snares. I’d recommend whether you like deathcore, dnb or classical.

I’m a bit of a speaker fanatic and after my Bose soundlink mini died I needed a replacement. I read all the reviews and this seemed like the business so I bought it and it didn’t disappoint!
It’s a a larger speaker but has a fantastic carry strap, moving it around isn’t an issue it’s not heavy but not so small for taking on holiday etc. Having said that it will for easily into your checked in luggage.
Battery life is amazing it will last a good couple of days on a full charge with regular play.
Now the sound quality is absolutely fantastic, heavy bass in this little thing and great clarity. It’s actually unreal how loud it is. If you like bass this is the speaker for you.
Price wise too it’s fabulous compared to what’s on the market. It will not disappoint.
I’ve also gone on to buy the smaller version of this as it fits into a suitcase easier. Obviously not as powerful as this bad boy but still amazing.
Definitely recommend! I’m always fighting for it from my teenagers it rocks the whole house!

This is just what I was after. Good sound quality and a decent battery life.
It paired straight away and sounds very good. Robust, well built and it looks like it will last.
It produces a faithful representation of what you are playing. Good bass response providing the music is of good quality, don’t expect heavy bass if the song you are playing, isn’t of good quality. Very pleased with this.
Not the latest Bluetooth version but works fine. Sound is very good for the money. Shame the strap can’t be removed without
cutting it off. All said I knew what I was getting and it’s great value.

I purchased this speaker to use when I was in the shed making stuff and also wanted it portable to use on my quad when in the woodlands cutting trees. It’s much bigger than the photos give the impression of, it sounds great especially if you use it with a good android app such as Pro player which has full graphic equaliser control. Battery life is amazing for such a product, you would expect it do a few hrs and fizz out but this baby will run all day and most of the next day too. I gave it 4 stars in my overall rating for 2 reasons, firstly the shoulder strap is fixed on and can’t be just unhooked leaving tie down points, and secondly, while it is loud enough and the sound carrys well it just isn’t a 50w type Level, a 50w hifi would blow it away but all in all its a great item.
Haven’t had the pleasure of trying these out at high volume just yet so will update when I do, but at low to reasonable volume this is a very good piece of kit. Zero distortion, which I find can be a problem with cheap(er) systems that tend to compromise sound quality for the sake of sheer volume or are just too small to be able to handle the sound properly (especially the bass which is very well handled here). Hissing is noticeable but realistically not an issue unless you’re listening to something particularly sparse and/or quiet.
The ability to charge your phone etc from the battery is a nice idea for an emergency, but doesn’t seem all that practical given you’d have to have your charger on you anyway so you might as well just bring a separate battery (or even better just use a battery case for your phone)
Only serious negative is that the black rubber buttons have black markings on the top for their functions, so it’s actually quite difficult to tell them apart. Would it be so difficult just to make the markings white? Not that I bother using them much, as it’s a wireless speaker I tend to manage the volume etc from afar (kind of the point of wireless? Never really got why wireless speakers have so many buttons and wired functions).
Great piece of kit great sound volume is very good nice and light sounds good indoors or out easy to use and battery is more than adequate no problem recommending this product looking for an outdoor speake
I work in a noisy environment. All i can hear is music now. Its blasting sound quite loud. If near you’ll have to almost yell to say something to a person near. Speaker been under rain a few times with no problems. At first i connected it with aux cable to my phone. Sound was meh, not impressive. Then tried Bluetooth connection and volume level nearly doubled! Full volume will probably last for about 5-6 hours. Pretty good for such performance. You can charge it with regular 5v power banks too. Just one minus is an equaliser not having an indication of which mode is on. I love this little beast!

I ordered it by mistake, it managed to slip from my wish list somehow and I almost sent it back but it was lurve at first site when I saw it for real.
Brilliant sound quality, only used it as extension to phone at moment, not really experimented with other appliances. Comes with charge lead and a jack plug to jack plug lead, no charger tho. Quite heavy for size, due to twin internal battery set.
Oh yes… It also dials the last call on your phone if you aren’t careful, your call comes thru to the speaker, clever stuff.

Considering the price, sound quality and since I can connect the via the audio jack for movies, I decided to keep, rather than return them.

I was so impressed with the first one I got a second, the sound together is ace. I have 3 story townhouse one works on bottom floor the other on 3rd floor flooding the house with deep sound. I have also set the pair of speakers up with with an outside cinema where the sound is also absolutely adequate…, I honestly don’t think you can get better for the price!
I am pleased with the delivery, packaging and product, it does all that is expected.
I was amazed by the sound for the money, however looks cheap, speaker has 3 lights for how much power u have, these lights flash when charging with 3 solid lights obviously meaning fully charged. I charge my speaker and it says it has 3 solid lights, unplug the charger and it goes down to 1 light so the battery isn’t charging so its getting sent back today for a refund.
Everything!!! The sound is very clear and has great volume. The size is perfect, lightweight along with the handy strap means you can take it on the go. I bought for my husband for his birthday, he is such a music lover especially reggae and he is raving about the speaker every day (he’s had it one week now !!!) The battery life is fantastic too. Excellent product and I dont use that word lightly. Very impressed, if you love music and you’re looking for a bluetooth speaker then this is the one for you .
Honestly this speaker is so impressive and loud! For its price it is just brilliant – I purchased this along with a Bose Bluetooth speaker and although they have their minor differences, I would choose this over the Bose simply for the price point. Noise quality is very similar, and the W-King can produce a louder sound!! I used just this for a garden party and it was perfect, loud enough for a good boogy without too much distortion in the sound.

I’ve given this speaker a 5* review but I have one minor issue. It arrived on time and is actually a really nice size. The build quality is very good and pairing with my android was as simple as can be. A very very good speaker for the price… my minor issue is that to get that bit more treble from it you have to push it a bit. Really seems to come to life around 75% volume but having said that, I would definitely recommend this item… The treble issue could be my 50+ old ears lol. Going to enjoy this purchase.

Decided I needed a new Bluetooth speaker, with a bit more oomph, for our home beer garden. I looked at many different ones before deciding on this one. A friend of mine has a 230 jbl speaker which sounds nice, but I didn’t want to spend that much. I have to say that the w-king really sounds as good as the jbl, ample volume and bass. The battery life is remarkable, I haven’t had to charge it a second time yet and it’s had a good few hours use. I really can’t recommend this speaker enough, it’s got all the features you need, without the frills you don’t. It’s great value, sounds awesome and looks pretty cool too
Better than the 30w version, not as loud as some say it is but loud enough for small gatherings, the low battery indicator cuts in at about 20% which is annoying could wait till 5 or 10% . Good features over the 30w version inc phone charging and better sound. I used the indoor mode as bass/low end is a lot clearer and less muddy. I think you can get a louder and bigger sound from a smaller unit but will cost you a lot more money so this is very good value not quite 5 stars for me but well worth considering as budget optio
It’s loud, which is great if you want to use it outdoors but the sound is very bass heavy with no real option to control or tame the response.
This simply blew me away. The sound quality, ease of use, connectivity and total output and tone is exceptional. I have paid 4 times this amount and not been as delighted. Highly recommended
Great tone, loads of power. Really happy with it. Even 16yr old Grandson who is into rock music says it’s great for blue tooth portability
I bought this to play music from my phone in the garden and the house, as my music centre is not working anymore.
It has a lovely, full sound and a decent volume so I’m very pleased with it.
The carry strap makes it easy to carry around wherever you want and it connects without problem to the Bluetooth system.
Fantastic speaker ive had an lg pk5 for a 2 years which I loved and thought was the dogs b*****ks until it went missing in work so bought this thinking at this price it will be just OK but good enough for work but my good its way better than the lg. The quality doesn’t dip even at full volume the bass is nuts for such a small speaker once you figure out what volume to have it on i went for half volume and full volume on my phone the battery lasts a full 9 hour shift and still has 80 percent left when I leave and if you keep it plugged in or on a big power bank have it at full volume if you want to piss of your neighbours as its so load.Great build quality sturdy as hell in other words get it you won’t be sorry
Having bought this for a BBQ as my other wireless speaker is only 15watt I was very pleased with the sound quality and how easy it is to connect to it lasted all 8 hours and still had charge left at the end of the night may consider buying another so I can pair it up with mine highly recommend speake

Excellent sound and good volume, loud enough for my needs. The only thing some people may feel is that it’s a little heavy, but then if that’s what gives you the sound quality and bass then it’s a small inconvenience and with it.

Bought this for church as we can’t sing hymns at the moment. We can listen of course. This speaker created enough volume to fill a country church. The tone is clear and the set up with my iPad was straight forward. It is also a nice neat unobtrusive unit.
The sound quality is certainly good for what it is, obviously some distortion when you’re at full volume, but it’s more than good enough for any outside use.
The battery life at max volume is closer to six hours, but this should also be plenty and you won’t need it maxed out in most cases.
I bought two, as I work in a noisy environment having both means that all of us working together can enjoy the music. One of them came with a 10% off deal, and the other a limited time offer for 12 off, at that price, great value for money. Still worth it at full price though.

This is not an issue listening to music, but I often use my phone to watch Netflix and YouTube, and everything I watch using this speaker for sound umsyncs just a second or so. Enought to make it unwatchable. So in these situations I have to revert back to my other, smaller Bluetooth speaker as I’ve never experienced this with that one.
Such a shame as it adds another layer of effort in between switching forms of entertainment.
If you want a loud economic speaker that’s rugged enough to be used outside this is a good purchase. If you want to use it linked to your phone or laptop for watching videos, find something else.

I’ve always been into ‘Bluetooth speakers’ and have had probably a dozen different speakers over the years I’ve been an Amazon customer.
They’ve always been ‘decent’ speakers but nothing fancy. The only problem with the ones I’ve bought to date, are that I’ve always been disappointed with them once you took them outside, where they just failed to be loud enough to be worth using.
Having just unpacked a pair of these W-King 50w speakers, paired them and tried them out, I’m blown away with the sound quality. I like my music with plenty of bass to it, and having given these a hard bass-orientated workout I’m more than impressed with them.
Even at full volume these barely threaten to distort, and even then the distortion is hardly noticeable. I’d recommend dropping the volume a couple of notches to get the best out of them. They are still ludicrously loud at this volume.
Can’t wait to get them out to the hot-tub so I can actually hear them over the sound of the hot-tub running, which was the main reason I wanted these.
Excellent product. Great design, lovely & clear music quality. Very loud and rounded sound. Long battery life, great for outdoor use. If you want something with great sound and heavy bass… without the bulk of carrying a large speaker box… this will do it! And the Bluetooth is very easy to connect. Good value for money.
I can honestly say I am not disappointed in any way, as the reason I bought this speaker in the first place, was for the good quality and great bass sound. I bought the baby 1st Mini 8 ( Which is smaller in size but again not in sound ) then this one, treble is good to so you can still hear those acoustic cords to, and for a fraction of the price than its rivals it’s a steal.
I bought the speaker so that i could have sound in the garden and it didn’t disappoint. It arrived in good quality packaging and the first task was to charge the battery. It took around 4 hours then was ready to use. I tried using a Bluetooth connection to my phone first and it worked very well. It connected straight away and the sound was very good, with a nice deep bass tone. The volume controls worked ok both from phone and speaker. I then tried connecting my IPod using the 3.5mm audio lead supplied. It took a couple of attempts as you need to hold the ON button down for a few seconds longer. But once connected it worked well. I found that the volume was slightly lower than with the phone and I had to use the IPod volume control as the speaker control didn’t seem to have a lot of effect with the Ipod. I suspect that the lower powered version would be OK indoors but might be a bit weak for outdoor use. The 50 Watt version is ideal for me. It had more than enough volume for my needs but was clear enough to play at low volume if I didn’t want to annoy the Neighbours. I would guess that the more powerful speaker would be a serious party animal. All in all I am impressed with the W-King. Bear in mind that this is NOT a smart speaker, its a good basic Bluetooth speaker.
As most people have mentioned, yes for the money, it’s brilliant. Some mentioned about battery life, so i drained mine and run a full mah test. It actually came out at 8236mah, which is over the stated stat. It’s a winner.
For its size the sound quality is really quite good. I listen to a lot of bass heavy reggae etc, and while it’s maybe not up there with the top Jamaican sound systems, it’s really pretty good.
I have it blasting out in my woodworking workshop and it’s loud enough compared with my Makita job site radio.
Really like the tactile feel of the buttons and it generally seems like a quality product.
The name is….unusual, and obviously demanded customisation.
Had this a couple of months now and I’m loving it. Sat in the garden listening to music is a pleasure, quality is exceptional for the price and the build quality is awesome. Don’t just think about it……but it….you won’t be disappointed
This is a quality speaker, for those who want quality sound for their music or even to enjoy this speaker whilst watching a film. Baterry life depends on your usage of the volume with the speaker. Overall you’ll be purchasing pure quality for your ears. As I’m writing I’m looking at purchasing my second speaker so that I could pair both of them together.

We love this speaker. It is soooo simple to pair to my phone (which is good because I am a bit of a techno phobe) and the sound quality is fantastic even at high levels. We use it whilst sitting in the garden chillin and I know it will be perfect for when we can have our friends round again for BBQ’s. well worth the money. Thank you guys!!

The Bluetooth connection is very fast and easy on an Android device. I can’t speak for other operating systems because I don’t use them. My speaker was delivered with a three quarter battery charge so I was able to use it immediately without waiting for it to charge up.
So,how does it sound? This is not hifi nor would you expect it to be at the price. The device is set up for outdoor use so it’s very bass heavy. Indoors it can be a bit overwhelming. It’s fine at low volume but, hey, this thing was designed to be used outside at max volume and that’s when you realise how good it really is. Its sheer power will amaze you. It has its own equalizer but I prefer to use my phone app equalizer because I’m accustomed to it. As I indicated earlier you’ll have no problem with the bass response outdoors – it’s solid. It can get a bit muddy with older recordings but that’s why we use equalizers! Overall the sound is amazing at the price and loud, very loud for the size of the unit.

I read some reviews that said the “D8” is plastic-y and whilst it is made from plastic, it is extremely dense and robust. The build quality is amazing for 79 (or 58 on discount), quite how they can make it for the price is amazing (child labour, cough?).
The D8 is not designed for critical listening or enjoying acoustic music and without reducing bass between 63 and 150hz by 6db, increasing 4000 to 16000hz by 3db, it sounds muffled and stifled. With the adjustment, it is much more pleasant. Compared to my Doss Soundbox XL, the sound has little bass below 60hz and sounds a little lean in the sub bass. Without the eq adjustments, wood instruments and deep male voices sound a little resonant and muffled, 2000 to 4000hz is a little splashy and cymbals/spatial and out of phase tones between 6000 and 16000hz are recessed. Of course this is a matter of taste and your musical preferences may be different. Just experiment and remember the low price when casting judgement.
The volume boost button only increases volume. The “up” and “down” volume buttons seem to change the sound signature somewhat when you change the relationship between the D8 and your source. Also, with my iphone which has no adjustment to the number of volume steps, sounds too loud at minimum volume. My Samsung Note 10 has the ability to increase the number of volume steps and consequently is quieter at the minimum volume.
Unless you have a large suitcase and correspondingly large luggage allowance, you will not want to travel with this speaker. It’s like carrying an engineering brick on a shoulder strap.
For ironing and folding washing to Drum and Bass or gardening to Hip Hop it suits me well. If I was wanting something more packable, more balanced in the sound or going to locate the D8 in a corner or near a boundary wall, I would buy an Anker Soundcore Motion+ instead, albeit for 99.
Highly recommended but remember the low price before slating it too much.
The sound quality is really good, clean and powerful. Fantastic value, you would be hard pushed to find a better speaker in this price range. well pleased.
Just had my new W-king speaker delivered by Amazon (thinking who thought of the brand name?), but who cares, it’s as good as the reviewers say!
Sound quality is the best I’ve heard from a bt speaker and there’ve been a few over the years, the second best being JBL, but it only managed about 10 hours play if I remember correctly, however it’s not in the same league this device is, although the price is similar when I bought the JBL.
Will I recommend this speaker, I certainly will. BRILLIANT sound and lots of it!
EDIT. Been using the amp for 2 days now as a pc speaker, at reasonable volume, while watching movies all day (except for having to go shopping, lol).
I gave it a full charge out of the box and so far it has only dropped one light of the three! Thinks it might well last more than 24 hours! The playtime is awesome.
