Well worth it.
This is just what I was after. Good sound quality and a decent battery life.
It paired straight away and sounds very good. Robust, well built and it looks like it will last.
It produces a faithful representation of what you are playing. Good bass response providing the music is of good quality, don’t expect heavy bass if the song you are playing, isn’t of good quality. Very pleased with this.

Not the latest Bluetooth version but works fine. Sound is very good for the money. Shame the strap can’t be removed without
cutting it off. All said I knew what I was getting and it’s great value.

Good build quality been trough som rigorous testing with me covered in cement, water, thick layers of dust and keeps on giving great sound, 4* on battery seems to last a full working day just about but working with it on a bit louder can see it running out before end of play

I purchased this speaker to use when I was in the shed making stuff and also wanted it portable to use on my quad when in the woodlands cutting trees. It’s much bigger than the photos give the impression of, it sounds great especially if you use it with a good android app such as Pro player which has full graphic equaliser control. Battery life is amazing for such a product, you would expect it do a few hrs and fizz out but this baby will run all day and most of the next day too. I gave it 4 stars in my overall rating for 2 reasons, firstly the shoulder strap is fixed on and can’t be just unhooked leaving tie down points, and secondly, while it is loud enough and the sound carrys well it just isn’t a 50w type Level, a 50w hifi would blow it away but all in all its a great item.

Haven’t had the pleasure of trying these out at high volume just yet so will update when I do, but at low to reasonable volume this is a very good piece of kit. Zero distortion, which I find can be a problem with cheap(er) systems that tend to compromise sound quality for the sake of sheer volume or are just too small to be able to handle the sound properly (especially the bass which is very well handled here). Hissing is noticeable but realistically not an issue unless you’re listening to something particularly sparse and/or quiet.
The ability to charge your phone etc from the battery is a nice idea for an emergency, but doesn’t seem all that practical given you’d have to have your charger on you anyway so you might as well just bring a separate battery (or even better just use a battery case for your phone)
Only serious negative is that the black rubber buttons have black markings on the top for their functions, so it’s actually quite difficult to tell them apart. Would it be so difficult just to make the markings white? Not that I bother using them much, as it’s a wireless speaker I tend to manage the volume etc from afar (kind of the point of wireless? Never really got why wireless speakers have so many buttons and wired functions).

You can charge it with regular 5v power banks too. Just one minus is an equaliser not having an indication of which mode is on. I love this little beast!

I truly believe you cannot get better for the price
I was so impressed with the first one I got a second, the sound together is ace. I have 3 story townhouse one works on bottom floor the other on 3rd floor flooding the house with deep sound. I have also set the pair of speakers up with with an outside cinema where the sound is also absolutely adequate…, I honestly don’t think you can get better for the price!

I was amazed by the sound for the money, however looks cheap, speaker has 3 lights for how much power u have, these lights flash when charging with 3 solid lights obviously meaning fully charged. I charge my speaker and it says it has 3 solid lights, unplug the charger and it goes down to 1 light so the battery isn’t charging so its getting sent back today for a refund.

Use it in my hot tub gazebo because it’s waterproof, the condensation doesn’t effect it, up to now one battery charge has lasted nearly a week, great sound can’t complain.

Honestly this speaker is so impressive and loud! For its price it is just brilliant – I purchased this along with a Bose Bluetooth speaker and although they have their minor differences, I would choose this over the Bose simply for the price point. Noise quality is very similar, and the W-King can produce a louder sound!! I used just this for a garden party and it was perfect, loud enough for a good boogy without too much distortion in the sound.

That button lets you select indoor and outdoor settings, 50 watts is indoors and 70 watts outdoors. It should have had a light notification similar to the battery indicator lights but doesn’t really matter. Other than that the sound quality is the best I’ve heard. It does not distort what so ever and the build quality is top notch. It’s quite a heavy speaker but the overall design and size is excellent. It’s loud and clear. A friend of mine has a 230 jbl speaker which sounds nice, but I didn’t want to spend that much. I have to say that the w-king really sounds as good as the jbl, ample volume and bass. The battery life is remarkable, I haven’t had to charge it a second time yet and it’s had a good few hours use. I really can’t recommend this speaker enough, it’s got all the features you need, without the frills you don’t. It’s great value, sounds awesome and looks pretty cool too

Great value, reasonably loud speaker for garden party/BBQ/camping
Better than the 30w version, not as loud as some say it is but loud enough for small gatherings, the low battery indicator cuts in at about 20% which is annoying could wait till 5 or 10% . Good features over the 30w version inc phone charging and better sound. I used the indoor mode as bass/low end is a lot clearer and less muddy. I think you can get a louder and bigger sound from a smaller unit but will cost you a lot more money so this is very good value not quite 5 stars for me but well worth considering as budget optio

Having bought this for a BBQ as my other wireless speaker is only 15watt I was very pleased with the sound quality and how easy it is to connect to it lasted all 8 hours and still had charge left at the end of the night may consider buying another so I can pair it up with mine highly recommend speake
Best portable speaker ive ever had
Fantastic speaker ive had an lg pk5 for a 2 years which I loved and thought was the dogs b*****ks until it went missing in work so bought this thinking at this price it will be just OK but good enough for work but my good its way better than the lg. The quality doesn’t dip even at full volume the bass is nuts for such a small speaker once you figure out what volume to have it on i went for half volume and full volume on my phone the battery lasts a full 9 hour shift and still has 80 percent left when I leave and if you keep it plugged in or on a big power bank have it at full volume if you want to piss of your neighbours as its so load.Great build quality sturdy as hell in other words get it you won’t be sorry

Fantastic speaker ive had an lg pk5 for a 2 years which I loved and thought was the dogs b*****ks until it went missing in work so bought this thinking at this price it will be just OK but good enough for work but my good its way better than the lg. The quality doesn’t dip even at full volume the bass is nuts for such a small speaker once you figure out what volume to have it on i went for half volume and full volume on my phone the battery lasts a full 9 hour shift and still has 80 percent left when I leave and if you keep it plugged in or on a big power bank have it at full volume if you want to piss of your neighbours as its so load.Great build quality sturdy as hell in other words get it you won’t be sorry
Nice speaker, better value and quality than some "big" brands.
Excellent sound and good volume, loud enough for my needs. The only thing some people may feel is that it’s a little heavy, but then if that’s what gives you the sound quality and bass then it’s a small inconvenience and with it.

Very powerful sound
Bought this for church as we can’t sing hymns at the moment. We can listen of course. This speaker created enough volume to fill a country church. The tone is clear and the set up with my iPad was straight forward. It is also a nice neat unobtrusive unit.

The battery life at max volume is closer to six hours, but this should also be plenty and you won’t need it maxed out in most cases.

If you want a loud economic speaker that’s rugged enough to be used outside this is a good purchase. If you want to use it linked to your phone or laptop for watching videos, find something else.

I’ve always been into ‘Bluetooth speakers’ and have had probably a dozen different speakers over the years I’ve been an Amazon customer.
They’ve always been ‘decent’ speakers but nothing fancy. The only problem with the ones I’ve bought to date, are that I’ve always been disappointed with them once you took them outside, where they just failed to be loud enough to be worth using.
Having just unpacked a pair of these W-King 50w speakers, paired them and tried them out, I’m blown away with the sound quality. I like my music with plenty of bass to it, and having given these a hard bass-orientated workout I’m more than impressed with them.
Even at full volume these barely threaten to distort, and even then the distortion is hardly noticeable. I’d recommend dropping the volume a couple of notches to get the best out of them. They are still ludicrously loud at this volume.
Can’t wait to get them out to the hot-tub so I can actually hear them over the sound of the hot-tub running, which was the main reason I wanted these.
well, where do I start, first off I contacted the sellers to ask a question before buying and their reply was fantastic and informative and proved to be right, so so pleased with my Bluetooth speaker just as good if not better than my grandson’s J.B.L Bluetooth speaker and as they stated the battery life when playing is true since purchase not needed to recharge for 3 days and sound quality is EXCELLENT and the BASS is EXCELLENT would recommend to everyone really ecstatic with my purchase
Didn’t like the massive graphics on the front so a quick 3 coats of Matt acrylic black spray for the grill and it’s looking a lot smarter. Sound quality is decent enough for the money and it hits the sweet spot between being portable and kicking out enough volume and bass, doesn’t sound brilliant when you have it maxed out with the EQ button pushed (this EQ button is basically a loudness button for when it’s at lower volume to boost the higher frequencies it seems) but at this price I’m not expecting hi fidelity audio. All round quality buy if your more interested in bang for your buck than all out audio precision.

Excellent product. Great design, lovely & clear music quality. Very loud and rounded sound. Long battery life, great for outdoor use. If you want something with great sound and heavy bass… without the bulk of carrying a large speaker box… this will do it! And the Bluetooth is very easy to connect. Good value for money.

At first I picked up the parcel and thought that’s a fair weight, then excited went to unpack it, packaged very well turned it on !! Very simple to use, and connected it to my phone a selected u tube ,and wow just wow !! The sound is incredible, clear great bass and precise ,the strap included adjusts real nice and feels string and secure ,I used it from delivery all day came pre charged, it charges your device as you use it ,banging for the money, feels strong and sturdy ,well recommend this speake

I can honestly say I am not disappointed in any way, as the reason I bought this speaker in the first place, was for the good quality and great bass sound. I bought the baby 1st Mini 8 ( Which is smaller in size but again not in sound ) then this one, treble is good to so you can still hear those acoustic cords to, and for a fraction of the price than its rivals it’s a steal.

Good Sound Quality
I bought the speaker so that i could have sound in the garden and it didn’t disappoint. It arrived in good quality packaging and the first task was to charge the battery. It took around 4 hours then was ready to use. I tried using a Bluetooth connection to my phone first and it worked very well. It connected straight away and the sound was very good, with a nice deep bass tone. The volume controls worked ok both from phone and speaker. I then tried connecting my IPod using the 3.5mm audio lead supplied. It took a couple of attempts as you need to hold the ON button down for a few seconds longer. But once connected it worked well. I found that the volume was slightly lower than with the phone and I had to use the IPod volume control as the speaker control didn’t seem to have a lot of effect with the Ipod. I suspect that the lower powered version would be OK indoors but might be a bit weak for outdoor use. The 50 Watt version is ideal for me. It had more than enough volume for my needs but was clear enough to play at low volume if I didn’t want to annoy the Neighbours. I would guess that the more powerful speaker would be a serious party animal. All in all I am impressed with the W-King. Bear in mind that this is NOT a smart speaker, its a good basic Bluetooth speaker.

As most people have mentioned, yes for the money, it’s brilliant. Some mentioned about battery life, so i drained mine and run a full mah test. It actually came out at 8236mah, which is over the stated stat. It’s a winner.
Quality product – very well made. Plenty loud enough. Easy and quick to connect . Really surprised at how well the bass comes across from this speaker. Great value for money. Considering buying a second one to hook up in stereo. You can’t go wrong with this. Top.

Fantastic. It sound quality is superb, never need to go anywhere near full volume, have to shout to talk if it’s on high in the house. Well built, good battery life, rain proof and again it’s sound quality is superb. I’m very impressed

We love this speaker. It is soooo simple to pair to my phone (which is good because I am a bit of a techno phobe) and the sound quality is fantastic even at high levels. We use it whilst sitting in the garden chillin and I know it will be perfect for when we can have our friends round again for BBQ’s. well worth the money. Thank you guys!!

We have it linked to a spare 2nd Gen Echo Dot for use in the garden and the Bluetooth range is excellent. Sound is very good for Bluetooth with a rich bass and fairly good detail. It feels as though it will last forever but cannot comment on long term reliability yet. (If you’re reading this next year then assume it is good or I would have edited the review :-))

The Bluetooth connection is very fast and easy on an Android device. I can’t speak for other operating systems because I don’t use them. My speaker was delivered with a three quarter battery charge so I was able to use it immediately without waiting for it to charge up.
So,how does it sound? This is not hifi nor would you expect it to be at the price. The device is set up for outdoor use so it’s very bass heavy. Indoors it can be a bit overwhelming. It’s fine at low volume but, hey, this thing was designed to be used outside at max volume and that’s when you realise how good it really is. Its sheer power will amaze you. It has its own equalizer but I prefer to use my phone app equalizer because I’m accustomed to it. As I indicated earlier you’ll have no problem with the bass response outdoors – it’s solid. It can get a bit muddy with older recordings but that’s why we use equalizers! Overall the sound is amazing at the price and loud, very loud for the size of the unit.
If you are planning a bbq or other outdoor party and want to provide music with good quality sound this D8 has to be your first budget option. I give it 5 stars for delivery, presentation, sound quality, ease of use and especially loudness.

incredible value for money
I read some reviews that said the “D8” is plastic-y and whilst it is made from plastic, it is extremely dense and robust. The build quality is amazing for 79 (or 58 on discount), quite how they can make it for the price is amazing (child labour, cough?).
The D8 is not designed for critical listening or enjoying acoustic music and without reducing bass between 63 and 150hz by 6db, increasing 4000 to 16000hz by 3db, it sounds muffled and stifled. With the adjustment, it is much more pleasant. Compared to my Doss Soundbox XL, the sound has little bass below 60hz and sounds a little lean in the sub bass. Without the eq adjustments, wood instruments and deep male voices sound a little resonant and muffled, 2000 to 4000hz is a little splashy and cymbals/spatial and out of phase tones between 6000 and 16000hz are recessed. Of course this is a matter of taste and your musical preferences may be different. Just experiment and remember the low price when casting judgement.
The volume boost button only increases volume. The “up” and “down” volume buttons seem to change the sound signature somewhat when you change the relationship between the D8 and your source. Also, with my iphone which has no adjustment to the number of volume steps, sounds too loud at minimum volume. My Samsung Note 10 has the ability to increase the number of volume steps and consequently is quieter at the minimum volume.
Unless you have a large suitcase and correspondingly large luggage allowance, you will not want to travel with this speaker. It’s like carrying an engineering brick on a shoulder strap.
For ironing and folding washing to Drum and Bass or gardening to Hip Hop it suits me well. If I was wanting something more packable, more balanced in the sound or going to locate the D8 in a corner or near a boundary wall, I would buy an Anker Soundcore Motion+ instead, albeit for 99.
Highly recommended but remember the low price before slating it too much.

Best bt speaker I've heard ...
Just had my new W-king speaker delivered by Amazon (thinking who thought of the brand name?), but who cares, it’s as good as the reviewers say!
Sound quality is the best I’ve heard from a bt speaker and there’ve been a few over the years, the second best being JBL, but it only managed about 10 hours play if I remember correctly, however it’s not in the same league this device is, although the price is similar when I bought the JBL.
Will I recommend this speaker, I certainly will. BRILLIANT sound and lots of it!
EDIT. Been using the amp for 2 days now as a pc speaker, at reasonable volume, while watching movies all day (except for having to go shopping, lol).
I gave it a full charge out of the box and so far it has only dropped one light of the three! Thinks it might well last more than 24 hours! The playtime is awesome.
