I was impressed by the write up on this bluetooth speaker and by the feed back comments.
The speaker out does all expectations. I have the 50w option; it is absolutely brilliant, as loud or quiet the sound is crystal clear with awesome bass.

The bass is nice and punchy without being overpowering like some more popular brands. The battery is long lasting and will be a great addition to our garden parties this summer. Well recommended to all.

It was brought for work (on site). The sound is great even at full volume, had it just over a week, it’s taken a few knocks here and there, but everything still works as good as when I first got it. Great value for money.
Happy so far only had it for 2 months, but can’t complain. One fault thow the charger plug should be included i would be happy paying extra for it, instead of purchasing separate!!
Great speaker and sound quality. Even at full volume it has nice bass and treble ranges. I bought this for outdoor party’s, but also when I am shooting Music Videos for Clients – I plan to buy another and use the stereo setup. Would recommend!
Punchy little speaker. Not to keen on the way it uses the same buttons for different functions but overall its quite powerful for its size and battery life is good on a full charge. Quite robustly made with a good weighty feel. The sound quality is adequate and the bass is better than i thought it would be. Good for the money.

I bought this on a whim, before I went on holiday last year and it’s more than paid for itself. It’s loud, rugged, water resistant and, for the money, got good sound too. Ideal for playing by the pool or in the garden. You can let your kids use it knowing they won’t break it and, if they do, you can just get another.
The only criticism? The name. W_king. What were they thinking!?

Battery life is particulary good, we use it on site as our radio, and it lasts 3 days before requiring a charge.

Good speaker. My only issue is I assumed itnwould be the same size as the mini, which is pretty substantial itself. Turns out this one is virtually double the size, which is a bit much
For the size it fills the garden with good sound, good high end clarity and deep low end that travels, battery life is plentiful, after 6 hours use the bettery still had plenty to go ( still showed 90%)

Ive had one for 4 years its out in all weather’s and still works like a dream bought a new one to give the old one a rest ,for the money there is not a better speaker on the market awsome.
Solid, loud and easy to use. This is to be used in the changing room at my daughters rugby games and I think it will be perfect!
Speaker got nice quality of sound, it’s easy to pair with phone and with another D8 speaker.
If you have another D8 older revision speaker (silver or green one) will require firmware update on both speakers, otherwise sound will cut alot.
It is not that easy to find it on internet, but there are videos on YouTube how to update firmware.
Wasn’t expecting much from this as its only the 50w version but I’m actually surprised it fills a room with music and even has half decent bass which doesn’t wash out at high volume

I bought one of these a couple of years ago, brilliant piece of kit. Recently bought another so I could pair them into a monster stereo rig.
But they weren’t compatible.
So first the good news: the customer service is excellent. Fast, responsive, and helpful. If I updated the firmware on the older unit they would match and the problem would be solved.
Well it was, they pair via Bluetooth and operate as a two amp/speaker stereo system.
The missing star is because the updated firmware has done away with the boost you used to get from the boost or loudness button. It was such a powerful part of this speaker, really enhanced the sound.
They have offered me the opportunity to roll back the firmware on both but I’m wary of screwing it up and maybe ending up with no working speakers.
So maybe a firmware update will fix this bug in the future. But this is still a very very good piece of kit.
Great for camping, connects to bluetooth on mobile (best bring a separate power bank for your mobile )
You could use the Speaker to charge your phone but it will take a chunk from your battery and if you are away for more than one night and are hammering the music it won’t last
I use the speaker in bursts of a few hours then some quiet time so can last me a couple of days+ easily – deffo worth the cash and best to charge up at home a good day before you leave, solid sound – has a bass boost you shouldn’t need
Speakers are great to listen to music on, especially paired, quite good sonics and audio quality. Dont buy if you want to use them for mixing (DJing, Beat matching) there is a delay that occurs when ur mixing with them. But in terms of a portable music listening product, these speakers are decent and pretty loud.
It’s a good piece of kit but does have some problems.
The dual use volume & tracks adjustment doesn’t work it just changes the tracks over. The equilizer function doesn’t do alot, there’s a slight change between the settings but not a lot. At full volume outdoors in a forktruck which is what I use it for it’s not that loud. Must be fitted with very low Watt speakers as it’s a little fuzzy but O.K. For somewhere like the beach it would be great as it wouldn’t have to compete with an engine. The bluetooth function is good. Means no wires getting in the way.
very good sound, little bit heavy but you have to take in to account the battery, good change time, only thing when you Bluetooth the sound is a bit quite, with a cable the volume is higher.
I liked the 50w because i have set up surround sound, the speaker fits in place and it has a nice aesthetic to it. I would definitely buy this speaker again. the only thing i would do to it is make the strap abit bigger since it is such a large speaker with a small strap.

This is amazing! This little speaker packs a punch@ ! 50w with my own added dolby and you won’t go wrong! I’ve been living in shelters for years and noisy ones at that. Put this on, add dolby, and Spotify or YouTube or Netflix etc and it’s not only worth the money, but you almost feel like it was a gem of a bargain in a sale. Don’t hesitate hesitate to buy this!

Great sound, bass is through the floor and the battery life is excellent but would be vastly improved with an app so you could turn it on remotely.

Absolutely love it. Currently us it to play back8ng tracks for my flugal playing and needed it to be loud enough so I could really hear it. It is Loud and very portable.

The sound quality is high and Bluetooth pairing very easy; and it easily fills a room full of 12-16 people if required or outdoors. I generally recharge once each week but in all honesty, even on full/high volume, I can’t say it’s ever gone flat during use. There’s no lag which can sometimes be present on cheaper Bluetooth speakers, so at least the first few seconds of the song aren’t clipped.
Compact enough to be carried in my gym bag or using the supplied carrying strap it’s easily portable. I haven’t used the in built USB charging function but it’s a useful addition.

Owned this speaker for around a year now, the sound quality is amazing. Quite a heavy speaker but not too difficult to transport around due to the strap attached to it.
Bought these speakers for the wife 3/4 months ago, to use when she is teaching her dance classes great in large indoor spaces and more then loud enough for home use. Seem very robust and durable, charge lasts ages, pairing was easy with apple device. Great value for money. Time will only tell on how long they will last as this has been less positivitly reported by other buyers.
Forget the building site radio, get one of these as it’s louder, better quality, will charge your phone and gives the you the scope to get all the radio stations in the world, through your phone.

Early days but pleased with the purchase. Good packaging. The unit’s carry strap is a little rudimentary; the unit itself would benefit from some kind of universal / versatile sockets or grill to enable mounting. Charging cables (USB connection, plug not included) are corded so may be more durable than plain rubber.
Bought with the Hermitshell hard EVA case which alleviates some concern over the durability speaker’s plastic ends.

I use this speaker when I’m working in my hotels kitchen. The quality of the sound is brilliant! You can really feel the bass if you turn your volume all the way up. When taking this home from work, I put it in my bag. The speaker is a little heavy, kind of like carrying a brick around… but it is what it is.

We bought this as a gift for our 13 year old son and I think it was an excellent choice!!! He loves it and takes it everywhere,, the sound quality is brilliant and the battery lasts a very long time! All of his friends are now wanting one!! Would definitely recommend

This is a really great speaker for the price. Definitely don’t get the lower output one. This one is loud enough because the bass is so good but you can’t make it too loud. Anything less would be insufficient for even a casual junglist.

I was looking at this speaker for about a year as was waiting until I could afford it. What a speaker, great sound quality, really long battery life despite being used for days I’ve lost count. From Hip Hop to Reggae to Pop, Jazz, Choral orchestral music, Beethoven’s Moonlight’s Sonata finally finished with Phil Collins “in the air tonight ” (you know the drum beat) this speaker never missed a beat. No negatives as thoroughly tested over a few weeks. I’m fussy with my sounds and have a number of sound systems in my house but this is great because it’s portable, I can just sling it over my shoulder and off I go.

I bought two of these outdoor speakers to use as a paired system. I found them easy to setup and once I had paired them over bluetooth to receive music from my small mp3 player, I was extremely pleased with the quality of the sound. I would remind users that the purpose of buying powerful speakers is not to achieve enough volume, which these speakers can produce, to annoy neighbours or others but to enjoy the quality of the music. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Easy to carry has a strap for over the shoulder, bass is great its LOUD!! the charge will do a party all night long and doesn’t take too long to charge up, plus its a lot cheaper than some of the well known makes
If you wanna go back to the times of when people was walking around with Boom Boxes blasting their music outloud, this is the one you should buy RIGHT NOW! This goes very loud… I’m not even exaggerating. The bass and sound quality is amazing.
Battery life is awesome as well, played it on max volume for 3 1/2 hours walking around and I still have lots of battey left over.

W-King has a range of speakers which offer varying degrees of sound quality. I originally received the IPX6, a 50w system that is small, waterproof, rugged and ver portable. Granted, you’re not getting a pair of studio reference monitors in this small package but you are getting a very rugged and portable little speaker.
I have since been upgraded to the T9-2 which is not only larger and louder but really shows what W-King can do with sound quality. Punchy bass, balanced mid and high end and plenty of headroom when you want to roll on the volume. This speaker really delivers. It has fun party light modes that can be turned on when you’re feeling festive but mainly this is a great solution for everyday sound in the home. It’s not waterproof but it is portable and seems carry the rugged W-King DNA. The controls are easy to access and the whole package is very impressive. I had the opportunity to run it side by side with a competitors (starts with B, ends with ose) bluetooth speaker system and it matches the sound quality, stereo width and is actually a bit louder.
W-King is new to the audio market but are pulling no punches about how serious they are to bringing affordable wireless speakers to the masses. I’m impressed and more than happy to recommend them.
