Effortless drilling in concreteThe pneumatic hammer mechanism generates its impact energy itself and thereby achieves extremely high impact force. The rotary hammer has been designed specifically for drilling in the hardest of materials without exertion of great force. It therefore allows totally effortless drilling in concrete, irrespective of the feed pressure. | Attach the chisel for easy tile removalThe PBH 2100 RE is equipped with a rotation stop for disabling the rotary motion. It can therefore be used with the chisel to remove old tiles, and even small wall openings are child’s play. Thanks to use of special retaining and power transmission grooves in the shaft, the chisel sits extremely securely and the force is transferred without any loss. | Precise work in various positionsThanks to Vario-Lock, it is possible to attach the chisel in 36 positions. This always guarantees the optimum angle between wall and chisel, while also preventing power losses due to unfavourable posture. You can therefore also use the rotary hammer to remove cable ducts. |

|---|---|---|
Easy drilling in wood and steelThanks to the rotary hammer’s impact stop function, the hammer motion can be deactivated for drilling in wood or steel. The Bosch Electronic also ensures that you can apply power sensitively using the trigger switch to prevent damage to sensitive materials such as tiles. | Optimum adjustmentThe corresponding mode can be selected simply by turning the switch. The following modes are available: Drilling without hammer function (impact stop), drilling with pneumatic hammer function, Vario-Lock for optimum adjustment of the chisel position or rotation stop for just the hammer function when using chisels. | Powerful, convenient and lightweightThe compact design and low weight, as well as the high impact force are what make the PBH 2100 RE the ideal companion for all drilling and chiselling jobs in and around the home. The adjustable auxiliary handle also ensures that you always have a good hold of the rotary hammer. Even overhead work is particularly easy. The use of SDS-plus means that the drill bits and chisels can be changed very quickly and tool-free. |

Waltzed through hard brick
Fantastic, it went through our hard brick wall like butter.
A real money saver !!.
This drill is way better than I expected for what I paid here on Amazon.
Bought to drill through wall of house to install cat flap. Completed today.
Just use with decent bits and by decent I mean something like DeWalt and this drill goes through brick like a knife through butter.
Spent less than 100 or so on tools to do this job including the drill. A builder would have charged that plus VAT….so basically the drill and bits are free.
Very happy.

Brilliant Hammer drill
I bought this when my old hammer drill finally dies after about 10 years hard labour.
Wish I had changed sooner: this Bosch drill is brilliant, especially the chissel function: I just used it to demolish a small wall in my garden and clean the bricks ready for re-building.
So quick and easy to use: I would recommend it to anyone.

Gets through granite quickly
My previous 14v cordlesss hammer drill simply couldn’t get through granite. With this mains powered rotary hammer, granite was a breeze. It doesn’t even feel like it’s vibrating much, and isn’t loud, but it cuts through quickly. Just remember you need SDS Plus bits, or an accessory to allow normal bits (but if using the accessory, don’t use hammer action).

Very powerful yet easy to use
Bought this as moved into a house with concrete walls and the old one just wasn’t powerful enough.
Very easy to use and no problems drilling holes into concrete walls.

Note sure what to say, it just works
It’s great tool any man should have. Bought it when we moved our house and drilled quite a few of holes to mount TV, sound speakers, secure wardrobes, etc. It just does what’s advertised. No complaints whatsoever.

Solid with plenty of power.
Drove an 18mm masonry bit all the way through my double skin brick wall like it was sand. Great bit of kit!
it cuts through steel or concrete lintels
Could see how to fit the drill bits had to ask my engineer at work for guidance now I know its great and easy to use.
A bit heavy when doing overhead drilling but not too bad overall
Better then my old one
Stepson borrowed my old one and just seems to not remember to return it so I bought this one and I like it better.
Lighter and easy to handle.
Does a great job
Quality powerful drill
So far so good, feels like a quality built machine with a whole lot of power.
My first SDS drill
Having had endless problems with hammer drills I finally decided to get an SDS. I was not disappointed.
What previously took 10 minutes between drilling and waiting for the bit to cool now takes literally seconds.
I have drilled red brick, slate, concrete, reinforced concrete (using Makita bits) and no hole has taken longer than 30 seconds.
The unit isn’t the lightest drill I’ve ever had but has better performance than all home drills I’ve tried.
I have sinces purchased an SDS to chuck key adapter and got rid of all my old drills. It even managed a 24mm wood auger through 8″ of pine like a hot knife through butter.
For a casual DIYer you will not be disappointed.
Robust and perfect for DIY
This has tackled every DIY task I’ve thrown at it with ease, from drilling through cinder bricks, to proper masonry, to wood, etc. It feels well built and professional. No regrets.

5 sta
This is the first time I’ve ever used a drill, yet alone a hammer drill. It’s easy to use and does a fabulous job. Plus it’s lightweight too which is useful.

Good drill, durable and powerful
Used it a few times now for drilling 15/25mm holes in masonry and brick. Plenty of power there. Its a durable product that should last many years.
Best drill I have ever owned
Goes through 4″ concrete like butter – massively impressed and cross with myself for not buying one years ago.
Excellent bit of ki
After realising my B&D Multievo electric screwdriver (with the correct drill bits) just wasn’t going to best brick walls, I opted for this Bosch. It’s an absolute breeze to use, really simple dials and does the job quickly. I’ve been putting up stuff left and right since getting it. It was really helpful coming with the SDS bits too, as I was unsure which size to go for.
I’ve only knocked off a star because it’s obvious the particular one I received was an unused return (sticker seal broken, no cable ties, etc)
I’m by no means a lover of D.I.Y but we had a fire place removed and the marble hearth ripped up which left a bit of a mess! To cut a long story short I needed to put new floor board down on a hardened concrete base, I bought some concrete screw and tried to do this with my trustee Makita combi drill in hammer mode……So that didn’t work out so well and after barely imprinting in the concrete the battery would die and my marvelous D.I.Y would be on hold. Until I saw this beast mentioned on a YouTube tutorial on drilling concrete….I received the drill plugged it in and literally within 10 minutes I had 8 pilot holes done and ready to screw down the boards!! There really is no substitute for using the right tool for the job in hand and this drill performed amazingly!

Top DIY drill
Excellent drill with the power to drive through most materials easily. Feels robust and should last a long time. Good price and fast delivery from the supplier.
Gift, waiting for feedback.
Most everything, but given as a gift. I haven’t had any feedback yet. I will have to get the appropriate drills, is it SDS? But I bought a keyless chuck to enable standard drills to be used.
Great drill
Good value, great for everything, easy quick drill change, perfect for the jobs I’m doing
It’s heavy!
It does what it says on the tin eg it’s a hammer drill. It is heavy, it’s not particularly easy to use but then what hammer drill is, and you have to buy special bits for it. I’ve only used it once to drill holes in a solid wall for shelving and it still took a lot of effort for it to go through the wall but it is easier than the standard drill.

Oh my god.i wish i had brought one of these last year.or even years ago. i spent a good long while last year drilling into a flag stone with a non sds drill.it was pointless the drill bit either burnt out or the drill wouldn’t have enough guts.so i gave up on that.then i tried drilling into a reinforced concrete garage wall.we all know these are all nuke proof.so i gave up on that.so roll forward a year.i finally succumb to buying a sds plus power drill.i settle for this one.i liked the price also had an extra 10 off thanks amazon prime.and this drill had some good reviews. the delivery was next day.so i get the drill i had already ordered some sds irwin drills.so i went out to the flag stone with my new drill.and drill bits plugged it in and started drilling.and oh my god the drill went through that flags stone like it was plasterboard.i was so amazed.i tried it on the garage wall.and same again the drill made short work of the wall.im so pleased with this drill.i may take it on holliday.

Powerful drill!
Powerful and very versatile. It really goes through brick and concrete like hot know through butter.
very good product.
Fantastic drill very good for any type of drilling, this is a very powerful drill, and I am very pleased with it thank you.
Good Price and Quality.
Makes drilling into concrete a much easier task thanks to this hammer drill ..
Grea
Works great, and it’s a Bosch so it will probably live longer than I will
Awesome
What a tool, it is probably the best drill I’ve used, even better than dewalt.
Grea
Really good drill. Drills straight into concrete with “hammer” on.
Value for money when on offe
Bought when on offer. Won’t need another in my lifetime as this will outlive me
Great drill, does what it says it will. Hubby’s last Bosh gave up after 14 years hard labour so I bought this upgraded version for him. He has put it to the test and is thrilled with it’s performance.

Absolute beast, 0-60 in 9 seconds. Great drill too.
This guy means business. I’m not a builder or mechanic, so don’t know my spirit levels from my oil levels (I drive a Ford KA).
So I can’t tell you if this is what a professional would use, but for home DIY projects-theres no stopping this beast. Took her all the way up to Scotland from Cambridge via the A1, only 40 In petrol, that’s why I keep the KA (it was my mums). Requires DFDS drill bits though, took me days to work out why my standard drill bits weren’t fitting, luckily Amazon sell those too, worth remembering too that KAs only have 4 seats, the middle rear one is just for your lunch box.
Five Stars
Powerful drill. Ideal for drilling into brick walls and concrete!
Nice drill
Excellent value for money. Amazing drill too. Used it straight away and it does the job in no time at all. Fantastic value and delighted with the purchase.
Five Stars
Great tool, so much better than a ‘hammer drill’ I wish I’d bought one sooner.
Four Stars
Good medium size SDS drill, with the build quality you’d expect from Bosch.
eally pleased I invested
Putting rawl plugs in masonary no longer an issue – powerful drill this, really pleased I invested. My cordless now relegated to putting screws in flatpacks
Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy. Makes mincemeat of concrete slabs. Enjoyed it so much, my patio looks like a colander now
MADE ME FEEL LIKE A
i drilled the fudge outta my house with this. MADE ME FEEL LIKE A MAN
Cuts through walls like butter. WATCH OUT it doesn’t fit normal drill bits though without buying an adapte
Not Boring at all
Zapowee! It does all I can ask of it and a bucketful more
Four Stars
It’s a Bosch drill that does what it says it does.
Check prices elsewhere before you buy , you can get this much cheaper… That being said great product delivered on time and as stated.
used it to chisel off 20 meters of plaster work no problem at all for this unit.
Love this Drill
Love this drill. Drills masonary with ease. Yet to try the other functions.

Very pleased with this drill – first time I’ve had an SDS type – will certainly go with this type again if needed. I recommend getting the extra accessory of a chuck to take normal (non-SDS) drills, so you can use any existing non-SDS drills you might have. NOTE: I understand that you can’t use the hammer function with this chuck accessory. Only slight concern is that the chisel function is not very string – it will only chisel light stuff like tiles etc, not hard concrete.

I’m writing this review quite late, after having used it for two years. I must say it’s a very powerful machine. It didnt disappoint me at all
Great drill!
Fantastic drill, chews through anything i throw at it, done a few little projects with it so far and just makes things so much easier.
gone are the days where drilling into brick takes ages, this thing goes through like butter.
Good product.
Grate drill. Very powerful and perfect for almost
all types of drilling work. Higher performance than a competitive product returned before.
great drill and can handle any job
great drill and can handle any job, brilliant compact size also. would definitely recommend to all looking for a SDS drill
Drilled into an extremely hard lintel as though it was butter. I had previously tried a corded Dewalt impact drill but it struggled. This drill had no issues at all and I could not believe just how simple it made a previously hard job. The speed control is also very useful since you want to be careful when drilling in an older house. Also very light and not too noisy. Feels like a high quality tool.

A great drill!
So far I am very pleased with this drill. The hammer action and chiselling was perfect for cleaning old bricks. As yet I have not used all the functions.
I would say it is very good tool for home
I would say it is very good tool for home, as it is not very powerful it is not that easy on concrete. But from time to time to make some holes at home it is more than enough !
A Quality Drill & Packs Some Mega Punch
A superb piece of kit yes it is not a battery operated one but a mains lead drill but it packs a lot of punch and the support handle at the front is great simply well pleased with this purchase
Grand drill for the price
It has done all have asked of it so far. The max dill bit I’ve used is a 16mm bit it drilled into poured concrete with no issues.
Highly recommended for the price
Does the job very well. Drills into concrete wall effortlessly. Highly recommended for the price.
Top Notch
Lovely piece of kit. Extremely happy with this product, and well presented too. Good solid piece and well known brand too, very happy overall.
had it for sometime now and I am happy to report that it works very very well
had it for sometime now and I am happy to report that it works very very well. I had to buy and adapter for my old drill bits (which came at around 5) but for the rest the drill is great.
Problem for me with the cordless battery ones is price and they seem to break down too easy.
A lot of power but heavy with it being mains…Problem for me with the cordless battery ones is price and they seem to break down too easy.
You'll never need another drill.
Great that this fine drill is available on the amateur market as it represents excellent value for money. Buy a chuck adapted as well, you’re bound to need it eventually. Plenty of power and not too noisy. Wish I’d had one years ago.
great replacement for my old ailing Wickes pneumatic hammer drill ...
great replacement for my old ailing Wickes pneumatic hammer drill that lasted 30 years hopes are pinned on this one lasting at least half as long also a very good price for what appears to be a very good piece of ki
Four Stars
This is really good, great power and ideal for the jobs I needed to do, very impressed.
Fantastic bit of kit.
This fantastic bit of kit. Bought this off amazon because b&q put it up by 30. Drills like going into butter. Would highly recommend it. I’m very very happy with it.
Bargain drill
Really good drill easy to use and no had a problem at all really good value for money.
This tool does exactly what it is advertised to do ...
This tool does exactly what it is advertised to do and makes my husband feel EPIC !! It makes jobs around the house much easier.
Quality you can take to the bank. Made light work of removing old tiles and plaster on a bathroom renovation job.
I bought this to use as a chisel to remove old plaster/mortar and tiles from my bathroom. On the plaster/mortar it worked very well but the tiles had been stuck on with cement and this drill was not up to it. The chisel just bounced off. I ended up buying a much heavier drill also which did the job, but that was far too heavy to reach the high bits. I needed both types of drill as it turned out.
Overall, it’s a very good drill/hammer drill/screwdriver but it’s chisel capabilities are limited. Nice light weight for prolonged use.
This is an excellent tool for drilling holes in hard masonry
This is an excellent tool for drilling holes in hard masonry. My old conventional hammer drill just bounced off the extra hard brick my new house is made of. This makes neat holes for wall plugs in double quick time.
Be aware that an sds drill is useless for conventional drilling wood etc. It’s for hammering. Also be aware this is a lightweight. That’s no bad thing if you want to use it perched up a ladder. Its good for chiselling for elecrrical boxes and wire conduits. But if you want to break up a concrete path you’ll be better hiring a heavyweight wrecking drill.
Don’t forget to buy some ads plus bits as well!
Lovely SDS drill.......
Only used for drilling into masonary so far which it does with no effort whatsoever, much nicer than a conventional hammer drill while being quieter and significantly quicker in use. Have used 5.5, 6 and 7mm bits both long and short, all resulting in clean, straight holes every time, (the walls are hard in this house and using a cordless hammer tended to result in the bit wandering). I do have some tiling to remove sometime soon so look forward to trying the drill with chisel bits as opposed to wielding a lump hammer/chisel for hours on end. Some have mentioned the price, I bought mine when a little over 60 delivered, for that price it’s a great tool.
Very well made, much lighter than the cheap budget ...
Very well made, much lighter than the cheap budget SDS drills that I upgraded from and so is readier and more accurate to use.
It arrived in 48 hrs which was great service. The drill copes well with the removal of old plaster against brickwork, it does get hot after about 15 mins though so i would suggest taking a break and letting it cool down. It is ideal for jobs around the house, but if you intend using it for long periods on a daily basis buy a bigger drill.

Only used it a few times so far, but it is what I wanted. Not big and heavy but easy to use. Although it may be too light weight for the heavy end of business, this works for me and serves my purposes. Not sure it is a capable screwdriver, in truth, but again that is not a concern for me but could be a real issue for others. I bought the adapter chuck as well and that really compliments nicely. Almost essential (why not part of the kit I wonder). All comes in a good sensible plastic case and of course, it’s a Bosch.
Bought predominantly for drilling into solid granite. Have a cordless deWalt which is good but can’t touch this Bosch for this specific job along with good quality bits. Also bought the adaptor which enables the use of all my existing bits. Very impressed wondering if there is a stand this will fit into…..
Excelle
The best drill I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a few!). Easy to use and no job seems too tough for it.
Bosch hammer it home
Top quality drill. I had put it through its paces on brick, concrete and stone and it passed with flying colours.I would definitely recommend this bosch drill.
Quality SDS Drill
PROS
* Quality SDS drill
* Had 2 years’ heavy use out of it and it’s still going strong
CONS
* Doesn’t come with any drill bits
* No space in the case for anything except the drill
Very good
Very good drill and goes through the toughest of walls with ease the only downside is that you have to buy an extra bit for the drill bits so comfy in your hands not much vibratio
get sds
you will never go back. old hammer drill used to wander over the wall on old plaster, making very heavy weather of any job. this one is like hot knife through butter. should have bought one years ago
Well Made
A great tool for DIY. Well put together and makes drilling into very hard walls a breeze. Hope it lasts as long as my last Bosch drill.
The usual Bosch quality
This is a solidly made and ergonomic drill, but you have to remember that you need special drill bits for this type of drill.
Bosch Drill
Does the job it was designed for. Not too heavy compact and in a useful case. Could have come with a few standard bits
Do the job
Well made however I do expected be made in Germany but its not …made in China… But will see if …do the job … I have check it it’s heavy duty and heavy too… So it might be good… I am not a builder or a carpenter but I do love DIY ….
I love the drill but have some issues with Amazon, read on.I have used one of these (belonging to my son) for several weeks now. It is a solid and very easy to use piece of equipment. Robust and pretty well made, certainly much better that all the easten rubbish about in this day and age. An SDS converter attaches easily and allows ordinary drill bits to be used so no need to restock all those bits you already have. The drill, particularily for a fairly powerful SDS type is quite compact. The weight is nice and the feel of the drill is comfortable. Being an SDS also elliminates the need for a chuck key as the SDS drill bits just insert and a simple twist holds all in lpace. A word of advice / warning. Keep this well lubricated or a drill bit will either not be able to be engaged or as an alternate will be all but not capable of removal. PRICE, Being 85.95 I accepted the price on face value as being fairly average, I took the lazy route (being a member of the Prime delivery service with Amazon) and ordered without pricing elsewhere. Whoops, bad idea. The Prime next day before 1pm was not met. I have noticed that Amazon prices have been getting less compeditive and customer service standards falling. I belatedly typed the model number in a search engine to discover this drill not just cheaper elsewhere but massively cheaper in some cases. (49.99 at homebase at all places, reserved through cashback site plus nectar points takes another 7.00 off) The moto, check out the prices elsewhere. Amazon are charging me for the return postage as it is being returned in the cheaper, elsewhere circumstances. The price difference is so huge it would be silly not to do so. If they offered a pricematch, I would not return.
Fantastic drill!
Needed a powerful drill for getting through metal and masonry lintels and this fits the bill perfectly. No loss of power like some cordless drills either!
Needed to put up a curtain rail above me back door and my long suffering cordless was not up to drilling into the lintel above the door. Drills go hot but made no impression on the concrete. With this baby it was like using a hot knife on buter. A joy to use and more jobs looking more possible. A great buy although dont bother paying for express delivery – bought this at Christmas with normal delivery and it arrived 2 days after my order.
Have turned my attention to outside walls and again this could turn me into a DRILL bore – its a joy to use.
A great drill and rapid service from Amazon.
Just need them to start paying tax in this country and they would be perfect.
As you would expect from Bosch, this drill does exactly as you would expect. Plenty powerful enough for DIY job I can envisage, yet not too heavy either! And very good value in my opinion.
Got this in the morning and already managed to take over square metres of old plaster. Goes through it like butter. Lightweight for the size. The sds bit is fantastic and some much easier than before. Bought the adapter to use my old drill bits and this installs really, easily As well. Highly recommend to buy. Worth the money.
