Why did I not buy this item years ago
Have used a similar corded Bosch multi tool and it lasted a fair time until the tool change lever gave up. This battery version is so much easier to use and very versatile whatever the situation. Just hope the lever lasts longer this time

Awesome multitool
Felt compelled to write a review of this awesome Multitool. I’ve owned a Bosch 240v multitool for a number of years and it’s been a good tool to have around, but the old way of swapping blades and sanding discs etc with an Allan key really slows thing down.
Thought I’d treat myself to this 18v cordless multitool and it’s a game changer.
The Starlock system is superb, so quick to change blades between wood, metal or sanding. It also lockes thd blades tight, no vibrating loose like the old system. Incredibly versatile without a mains cable and the battery lasts longer than I expected. Quick to charge also.
The payments scheme through Amazon over interest free 5 months means you don’t even know your paying for it as it’s so little every month.
All in all, I recommend this tool to everyone in the market for one. You’ll wonder how you ever managed without it. 5 stars all around.
This is a great tool – super useful for hard to cut areas (like around skirting whilst laying laminate) and things like cutting a single tile out from the kitchen / bathroom it comes in a nice sturdy box and with plenty of attachments for different materials you’re trying to cut. The ‘bits’ are quick release which is incredibly easy. Vibration is minimal and I find the multi tool is easy to use. The slight downside I’ve found is that battery life isn’t great – the bosch batteries are only 1Ah (compared to something like Makita’s 3 or 5Ah). This isn’t a problem if you’ve got a couple of batteries but would be a pain with just one as charging isn’t especially quick. If you’ve got other Bosch 18v tools this is a no brainer – if you haven’t I’d go for something like a Makita or a wired one

The Bosch tool is v handy and I am v happy so far after 2 months of use.
Easy to use, esp with the 18V battery system, even if power is limited at this voltage maybe for larger jobs.

Das Multitool ist vielseitig einsetzbar. Leider muss man einiges an Zubehr dazu kaufen. Fr meinen ersten Einsatz (Schleifen) hat alles prima funktioniert und im praktischen koffer kann man alles gut und sicher verstauen. Durch den Akkubetrieb ist es berall einsatzfhig. Meine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Alles ok soweit. Werkzeuge sind schnell und einfach zu wechseln. Fr lngere Nutzung sind Ohrstpsel hilfreich.

Easy to use with some great features including light, battery indicator and quick release blade. The new starlock makes a huge difference with quick connect / release and removes the slip factor you get with other types of connectors. Only drawback is lack of 3rd party blades, but quality wins out.

I ordered this as I wanted a multi tool to have available to use and I already have a number of Power4All tools that share the batteries. I decided I would buy the complete unit with charger and battery as it came with a case that the bare unit does not seem to.
I notice that the battery that came with it has changed from the old battery shape and the charger is different. Old batteries seem to fit OK into the new unit and charger but the new battery does not fit into the old charger, so I have have lost some versatility. A little annoying that this doesn’t seem to be pointed out and slightly defeats the purpose of the all4one approach. Pointing out the change would explain the limitation and would confirm whether or not it is OK to use new batteries with old equipment and vice versa. I have not yet tested to see if the new battery works with all my existing equipment (that have used the old battery shape).
So I have knocked a star off for this reason.
I have not used the tool properly yet but it seems up to the usual high standard.

I purchased this for re-tiling in bathroom. All of the youtube videos say you need a removing tool. Got one of those – just in case.
This tool made short work of removing grout. Couple of minutes and I was being careful.
Decided to try the manual tool. What a load of tosh!! If you’re happy to spend hours on the job then get the manual tool and be prepared for scratches on the tiles. Otherwise cough up the extra and get this tool.
I’m a beginner diyer and was able to use tool easy, efficiently and got loads of grout removed.
Just spend the extra money for this and other uses for the tool.
Eine wahre Bereicherung
Ich hab mir das Multitool von Bosch zu Weihnachten gegnnt und bereue den Kauf in feinster Weise. Ich hab in der Zwischenzeit schon einiges damit erledigen knnen. Z.b. habe ich einige Dachlatten, Schrauben und Metallstangen gesgt.
Alles ohne Probleme.
Ich habe sogar den mitgelieferten Diamantaufsatz genutzt um Schlitze in Putz und Mauersteine zu sgen um so Stromkabel zu verlegen. Mit einer Flex wre das bestimmt schneller gegangen Aber ich wollte es einfach mal probieren. Positiv zu bewerten ist hier die geringe Staubentwicklung. Der Staub fllt nur an der Wand hinab. Das Diamantblatt hlt allerdings nicht sehr lange und wird stumpf.
Das Handling der Maschine empfinde ich als sehr angenehm. Man kann ohne Probleme lngere Zeit damit Arbeiten ohne dass einem die Hand weh tut. Die Aufsatz lassen sich sehr schnell und einfach wechseln. Man muss das Gert aber direkt ber einen Tisch oder Boden halten bevor man den Aufsatz wechselt. Die Aufstze werden beim entriegeln gerne rausgeschleudert.
Was mich etwas strt ist die extreme Geruschentwicklung. Auf kleinster Stufe ist es gerade noch ertrglich. Auf halber Stufe wird es allmhlich etwas zu laut. Ich musste mir dann einen Gehrschutz aufsetzen.
Der Akku der leider nicht mitgeliefert wird ( ich hatte schon einen) lsst sich etwas schwergngig wechseln und einschieben. Es ist auch schon passiert dass whrend dem Betrieb der Akku seinen Kontakt verliert weil er durch die Vibration etwas raus gerutscht ist.
Bei den Preisen fr die Aufstze darf auf jeden Fall auch nachgebessert werden. Fr einen so kleinen Aufsatz Teilweise 40 Euro zu verlangen finde ich eine Frechheit.
Dennoch bin ich mit dem Gert sehr zufriedne und bereue den Kauf keineswegs. Ein super Helfer mit sehr vielen Anwendungsgebieten.
Never thought I needed one until I used i
Used 2-3 times already for 2cm thick wood, straight cuts and also plung cutting for sockets. Very versatile and already bought extra blades (consider these a consumable unless you plan to resharpen them yourself). Battery life surprisingly long. I’ve been used to the battery life of the Bosch Pro 18v tools and would say this was comparible.

Wirklich tolles Gert, welches viele Mglichkeiten erffnet, fgt sich perfekt in mein vorhandenes 18v Bosch set ein, und habe damit schon einiges gemacht.. morsches Fubodenbrett vorm Fenster (leichter Wasserschaden) getauscht, teppichklebereste von Holztreppe abgetragen, Brett am Schuppen getauscht ohne den ganzen Schuppen abbauen zu mssen, wirklich sinnvolles Gert..

I’m glad I paid more to get cordless, it really has made it so easy for small jobs. The sander has been much more useful than I was expecting. I already have 2 different corded sanders, but cordless is so useful. There were bits of unsanded filler that have been waiting ages that I finally fixed.
The attachments are so easy to change. I haven’t used another to compare and it is true that you then need bosch replacements, but I’m not using it for huge jobs so I’m not sure that’s as much if a concern.
I like bosch for the quality so I’m happy to have others that will share the battery and then I think they will be better value.

well made quality tool

This multi tool is really effective on all sorts of materials (I recently used it to chisel the excessive ice built up on the inside of my freezer!!).
It certainly does the job on metal (screws), wood (I cut a channel for a door lock effortlessly) and the sanding attachment is also great.
Also to note is the easy changing lever which allows you to swap the tools easily without any tools.

5 star must have tool
Wouldn’t be without this tool, multi tool is a must for any diy’er. And this Bosch doesn’t disappoint. Comes with few blades and sanding pads. The quick release lock mechanism is great naked changing blades a doddle.
I’ve been building up a collection of the Bosch 18v ‘one for all’ battery tools and have been very pleased with them; the batteries last really well, charge quickly and the quality all feels excellent. I bought this tool to help with a couple of house projects and now that I have it I wonder how I managed without it. First off, as a sander its absolutely ideal….its light, a 2.5ah battery lasts for ages and because you can adjust the speed you can make it work for any job. I used it to sand some house fascias up a ladder and it was perfect for the job. Then the oscillating cutter tool has so many uses that you are best just looking them up on youtube but i’ve already used it a number of times for making notches in wood or cutting holes in surfaces that would be much much harder with a drill and jigsaw. If you are going to lay wooden floor and will be needing to cut the bottoms of some door frames then buy this right now! About the only negative thing I can say about this tool is that the speed adjustment is sometimes knocked by your hand, but there’s really no-where completely safe to put it on a tool like this, so its certainly not enough to knock a star off. Bear in mind that you dont get a battery or toolbox for some of these tools (i didn’t).

I am not much of a diy person but as I saw various trades people using multi tools at our house, I decided to look more into it.
I wish I had known about this types of tools earlier!
This is so easy to use and cuts are very easy to do. I have cuts skirting boards, pipes etc, with so much ease. The different angles make it possible to do cuts in hard to reach places.
I can use the batteries from my drill and hedge trimmer on it.
I find that it does vibrate quite a lot sometimes but this might well be normal for multi tools.
I knew this was a Starlock tool when I bought it, the attachments are more expensive, but they last ages and they’re super easy to change.
The 18v power is more than enough for DIY use. I turn the power down for sanding, but never need it on Max for any job. 2.5ah battery is more than enough, never run out on a job – but it’s so fast at cutting, I’ve only used it for 30mins at a time.
Nice case, good starter set of accessories and excellent quality as usual.

Ich hab das Multitool fr kleinere Holz und Schleifarbeiten gekauft. Da ich schon andere Bosch grn Akku Gerte (Home and Garden) hab, ergnzt das Multitool gut das Sortiment und kann die vorhandenen Akkus nutzen.
Eine Grundausstattung an Aufstzen ist dabei.
Zwar haben bei der Lieferung 2 davon gefehlt (Warehouse Deal), aber Amazon hat schnell und unkompliziert Abhilfe geschaffen.
Das Tool selbst liegt gut in der Hand und ist mit Akku halbwegs ausgewogen. Bei lngeren Arbeiten knnte es aber etwas ermdend werden durch das Gewicht (Vermutung, wird sich noch zeigen)
Die Starlock Montierung ermglicht es, die Werkzeugaufstze einfach mit etwas Druck einzuklipsen und hlt dann wunderbar fest. Ein Tiefenanschlag fr die runden Aufstze ist auch dabei. Einmal am Entriegelungshebel ziehen und das Werkzeug fllt einfach ab. Das ist super einfach. Bei anderen Multitools muss man hier teils arg feste Verschraubungen lsen, was hier deutlich entspannter gelst ist.
An Werkzeugem gibts alles mgliche von Schleifen, Sgen, Schaben was fr alle Materialien. Diese lassen sich in diversen Positionen montieren, um in alle Richtungen arbeiten zu knnen.
Die Verletzungsgefahr ist erfreulich gering, durch die Vibrationstechnik.
Fr dunkle Ecken ist vorne eine Lampe mit montiert, die allerdings nur nach vorne leuchtet. Wenn man die Aufstze zur Seite montiert ist die Ausleuchtung etwas eingeschrnkt.

Praktisches Allzweckgerä
Dieses Gert ist sehr vielseitig einsetzbar und dazu noch leicht zu verwenden. Vor allem der Schnellverschlussmechanismus machen das Arbeiten sehr praktisch und zeitsparend. Mit der vielfltigen Auswahl an Messern, Schneidblttern und anderen Teilen ist dieses Gert sehr vielseitig einsetzbar. Frt lngres arbeiten empfehle ich den Kauf eines Handgriffs. Besonders praktisch ist das helle Licht an der Vorderseite, das einem besonders bei der Verwendung in dunjklen Ecken eine groe HIlfe ist. Das Gert ist sehr robust gebaut, sehr handlich und gehrt zu meinem Lieblingswerkzeugen.

Prima stuk gereedschap, werkt erg mooi en stabiel. Het ronde zaagblad is enkel voor hout, deze n bijbesteld voor ijzer. Het uitwisselen van de diverse verschillende bladen is erg makkelijk en veilig. Aanrader !

Der Bosch Multifunktionswerkzeug AdvancedMulti 18V kam bei mir sofort zu Anwendung. Da ich mehrere Bosch Akku Werkzeuge besitze, habe ich ohne Akku bestellt. Liegt gut in der Hand und erfllt meine Erwartungen. Es bekommt ein Stern weniger aufgrund der geringen Schneid- und andren Werkzeugen wie Absaugadapter fr den Preis .

It is very good for home, not basic tool so do not buy it first if you did not have a drill or a circular saw or table saw of you like.
How did I survive without this tool?
I’ve been after a rechargeable multitool for years, but wasn’t sure I could justify one. But I was wrong, I use it for eveything. Precision cutting of plastic trim and plasterboard, floorboards, ceilings etc. etc.. there’s a blade to cut eveythibng.
Batteries last fine for home use, I’ve got two, to swith over while one is on charge (30 mintes).
It’s half the weight of a professional one, and half as noisey. But you will still need ear defenders.

Esta multiherramienta funciona con bateras de 18V, universal para la gran mayora de herramientas de Bosch, por lo que podremos intercambiarlas por las de otra herramienta que tengamos en casa.
Bosch tambin tiene un modelo que funciona con cable, dependiendo del uso que se le vaya a dar, podemos comprar uno u otro.
En mi caso prefiero la herramienta con batera por la versatilidad y movilidad que nos permite, sin necesidad de depender de una toma de luz para usarla.
Podemos usarla para un sinfn de trabajos, desde lijar, serrar, raspar o cortar, gracias a sus accesorios (ya incluidos de serie), tenemos una herramienta muy completa sin necesidad de comprar ms accesorios.
En cuanto a su manejo, es una herramienta robusta y manejable, por seguridad recomiendo utilizarla usando las dos manos.
Su uso es muy simple, adems incluye manual en castellano por si tenemos alguna duda.
Su manual, adems, indica con fotografas y de manera muy descriptiva cada una de las posibilidades que nos brinda esta herramienta.
Viene correctamente guardada en un maletn verde rgido, que nos permite guardar la herramienta y sus accesorios de manera segura.
Es perfecto para cualquier profesional que necesite este tipo de herramientas en su da a da, sin duda es un producto de una calidad impresionante, pensado para ser usado durante horas al mximo rendimiento.
Cambiar su cabezal o accesorio es muy simple, presionamos el cabezal para colocar el accesorio que necesitemos y para cambiarlo solo debemos pulsar una palanca situada en el mismo cabezal. Es algo que se hace en cuestin de segundos, mucho ms rpido que otras multiherramientas de otros fabricantes.
En resumen es una mquina increble para cualquier profesional, de una calidad excepcional que permitir realizar el trabajo del da a da con la seguridad que nos ofrece el fabricante Bosch.
Versátil, calidad, de batería, con accesorios... lo tiene todo!! No es mala opción de compra!
Hace poco prob la misma y esta simplemente me he dedicado a ver cada uno de los accesorios y fijarme ms en la impresin que en el trabajo.
Repecto al trabajo, ya os adelanto que funciona de maravilla, cumple muy bien su funcin, con un ruido muy poco exagerado, una vibracin nada molesta y unos resultados que son los que cualquier esperara.
Respecto a la impresin, he de decir que viene en una caja verde enorme muy bonita y diferente a las que estamos acostumbrados. En la caja incluye varios juegos de sierras oscilantes de diferentes formas y medidas y un adaptador para usar la multiherramienta de lijadora elctrica. El cambio de unas cuchillas a otras no me convence, pero bueno, se hace de manera gil.
Aparentemente, pensaramos que debe pesar mucho, pero nada de eso, se puede trabajar con la mquina por horas que no doler la mueca (bueno… esto es relativo).
La empuadura es muy cmoda, el color y la forma me encanta, es robusta y se nota la calidad desde el mango hasta la punta. Lo ms llamativo de esta mquina es que es de batera y no por ello han querido exagerar el precio, al contrario, si te vas a una marca como DeWalt, vers que por algo parecido y de cable, cuesta practicamente el doble.
Caja amplia, caben ms cosas si lo tienes organizado. Mquina buena y ms verstil de lo que crees.
No es mala opcin de compra! Yo, la recomiendo!
Endlich im Koffe
Was treibt Bosch nur um, wenn sie Gerte ohne Ladegert und Akku auch nur ohne Koffer anbieten? Hier mal ein positives Beispiel, dass es auch anders geht. Habe lange mit mir gerungen das Gert zu erwerben, allerdings nur mit Koffer. Zum Primeday dann die Amazon-Spezial-Ausgabe von Gert ohne Ladegedns im Koffer zum guten Preis. Sehr gut.
Una herrmaienta super versátil y de gran calidad
Ya hace tiempo que iba tras una multiherramienta de este tipo. Ya estaba harto de cargar con 4 o 5 tipos de herramientas, sabiendo que una sola mquina poda realizar las mismas funciones. Lo que me frenaba es que los modelos que haba visto hasta ahora eran de marcas o poco conocidas o ms bien conocidas por fabricar herramientas para un uso espordico, con lo que la vida til y posibilidad de una buena potencia eran poco halageas. Pero al tener la oportunidad de probar este modelo de multi herramienta de Bosch, finalmente he comprobado su utilidad, ya que la marca si que me transmite una garanta de producto profesional y de calidad. No me equivocaba, la herramienta es potente y robusta, pero a la vez sencilla y cmoda de manejar.
Literalmente esta multiherramienta sustituye al menos 4 mquinas, corta, lija, sierra y raspa.
Todo viene presentado recogido en sus respectivas y prcticas cajas de almacenamiento, desde la herramienta en s, como los accesorios, tambin en su propia caja.
Un elemento que no me esperaba, pero que me ha resultado de tremenda utilidad es su luz frontal. A diferencia de las herramientas usuales que en el mejor de los casos se limitan a incorporar un nico punto de luz que tan solo enfoca directamente al frente. Est Bosch incorpora toda una banda luminosa en el frontal, que nos da una considerable luz en un ngulo de 180 grados.
Usa una batera de 18 voltios (como siempre compatible con todas las herramientas Bosch que funcionan con batera de 18v) que me ha dado suficiente potencia de trabajo para cortar y lijar los marcos de las puertas de casa, sin ningn problema y sin utilizar ms herramienta que est.
A mi parecer una de sus puntos fuertes es su facilidad y rapidez para cambiar de pieza de trabajo, al mismo tiempo que se garantiza la seguridad, claro est. Simplemente desplazando una palanca, liberamos la pieza a cambiar y la intercambiamos por otra haciendo presin desde el cabezal. Seguro, sencillo, rpido y limpio, no se puede pedir ms.
Adems de las piezas y repuestos que se incluyen en el set, al ser un producto Bosch, no me ha sido nada difcil encontrar diferentes recambios compatibles, que es siempre una ventaja, al no tener que prescindir de la herramienta, funcionando perfectamente, por no encontrar disponibilidad de repuestos.
En resumen… Una completa y fiable multiherramienta de Bosch, que nos permite dejar en casa la sierra y la pulidora.

He adquirido el Pack que viene sin bateria y sin cargador, esta opcin esta muy bien pensada para aquellos que ya disponemos de otra herramienta de Bosch con bateria y cargador incluidos y compatible con esta Multiherramienta, es una forma de ahorrarse un dinerito en la compra.
La batera adicional compatible es una Power for ALL 18 V, es la misma que se utiliza en todos los productos de la gama verde Bosch Home Y Garden con sistemas de 18-voltios, incluyendo los aspiradores Bosch Unlimited.
ALGUNOS DATOS IMPORTANTES:
– La velocidad de giro en vaco es de 10.000 – 20.000 RPM.
– Para la oscilacin tiene un ngulo de 2,8″
– El peso con la bateria puesta es de 1,42 Kg
Me encanta esta maquina porque es una herramienta verstil y puedes enfrentarte a casi cualquier situacion o proyecto que tengas planificado, ya sea para el hogar o profesionalmente.

Muy buena herramienta para diferentes trabajos.
Se trata de una multiherramienta de la serie home, viene en una caja rgida, dentro se encuentra la mquina, una caja de plsticos con varios accesorios de trabajo, y un manual en espaol.
Este modelo en concreto, viene sin batera y sin cargador, de esta forma si tienes una batera compatible con esta herramienta, como es mi caso, es una forma de que su precio sea muy contenido.
Esta multiherramienta tiene un acoplamiento de accesorios que se denomina starloock con sistema autoclic, este sistema es muy sencillo de quitar y pone los accesorios de trabajo, solo tienes que apretar sobre la base del cabezal el accesorio y se adhiere muy fcilmente, para quitarlo, tiene una palanca que la accionas hacia delante y se suelta solo, es un sistema que me gusta mucho.
Muy sencilla de manejar, tiene arriba un botn de encendido y apagado y en un lateral una rueda con seis velocidades, delante tiene la palanca para quitar los accesorios y una generosa luz led que alumbra bastante para poder ver sin dificultad el rea de trabajo.
Esta multiherramienta est diseada para realizar diferentes trabajos, lijar y cortar diferentes clases de materiales (madera, plsticos, metales, azulejos etc.).
Como es habitual en la marca, la calidad es muy buena, y est recubierta alrededor de goma que se adhiere muy bien a la mano.
La verdad, que es una herramienta muy til para realizar trabajos de corte en casa.

Ich habe ein neues Lieblingswerkzeug. Bin eher durch Zufall auf das Gert aufmerksam geworden, weil ich etwas abschleifen wollte. Akkus hatte ich vom Akkuschrauber und der Heckenschere, so dass kein zustzlicher Akku gekauft werden musste. Leichter Werkzeugwechsel von Schleifen zu Sgen. Klappt alles prima, bin sehr zufrieden, auch mit der Aufbewahrungsbox.

A great tool for those awkward jobs
Good, solid Bosch product. A bit bigger than expected, but powerful – and cordless. Price kept down by selling without the 18V battery and charger – I have a spare battery for my PSR18, so the saving was real for me. So far only used to perform some small cuts in wood in very awkward places (wooden T+G wall cladding) but so much faster and neater than hacking away with a pad saw or chisel.
A bit like a Dremel, I won’t use it often in household DIY, but it will come to the rescue once in a while, so it’s worth it.
Great tool that’s saved me time of having to get a pro in to do same job, with a similar tool! BUT only came with two blades, so I bought at least ten extra blades etc. Good news: If this multi were to fail in my ownership, then those blades etc can be used with a replacement tool …

Brilliant! I brought this for my husband who wanted to expand his tool collection and who is a keen DIY-er. He has used this to sand, cut and scrap in a variant of DIY jobs and it hasn’t failed him yet.
Such a helpful tool
This was used but the marks were all over the light which was a shame Amazon should take another 10 off. And it’s so easy to use and change the tools.
Great multi tool, but blades are pricey.
Great multi tool – I have other Bosch products that share the same battery, so that makes charging/sharing batteries very easy. The tool itself is easy to use, powerful and the quick release mechanism for the attachment is great. However, having the quick release mechanism means that you are limited in the blades you can use. Not an issue for the sander attachment, as you can use any sander pad brand. But for blades you cannot use some of the cheaper generic brands out there. Not an issue really for occasional use, but big jobs where a lot of cutting is needed, it could get quite expensive.

So versatile, this can be used for all sorts of jobs. Today I had a rounded-off torx screw that wouldnt budge. Got my advancedmulti out and cut a slot in the of the screw, so I could drive it in with a slot screwdrive
The battery that comes with it is great, lasts ages. The older style batteries also fit in the new charger, and onto this tool. Tool itself is powerful enough for the job. Invest in extra cutting bits as not much comes eith.

It feels quality and has proven to be useful from the off – easily sanding down a rubbing door and shaving a few mms of another plus scrapping away some glue.
It comes with a few tools so you’ll almost undoubtedly spend a few more quid on extra sand paper and other little accessories but is worth its wait in gold. Battery life is excellent ( for the DIYer), at least .
