Don’t worry about buying this..does exactly what you expect. Can cope with some tough shrubs and small trees. Pretty light, pretty good battery. Would recommend .
Didn’t realise how bad my hedge trimmer was until this arrived! Well balanced, not heavy but cuts beautifully with no snagging!

This Bosch cordless hedge trimmer is easy to use and performs its job with ease. I was a little concerned that the length of the blade might be too much to handle but it is in fact just the opposite. You can operate it in all sorts of ways and all you have to do is keeping your fingers out of the works. Nice one Bosch.
2 minute use only out the box because it is late. Very pleased but unable to register. The serial number is on the product but when entered I am told it is only a part number. I have shared personal details for no purpose.
Superb hedge trimmer. My garden is small but I have used the trimmer several times with around 2 hours’ use and the battery is still going strong without recharging. Easy to handle and cuts within its specified parameters easily with no fuss. Highly recommended.
Relatively light and nicely balanced hedge cutter, cuts cleanly. Anti-jam feature useful. Battery life quite good but an advantage is that it uses same interchangeable 18volt batteries as my other Bosch cordless tools so battery life relatively unimportant for me
Seems like a good gadget Not perhaps terribly robust but should be fine for medium hard branches etc I really want something that is just between this and a chainsaw [hence four stars] but am sure this will perform perfectly adequately for most none heavy garden cutting chores!

Cordless hedge trimmer just arrived didn’t even have to charge it, took it out the box an did the job ignore any negative reviews is amazing I was impressed how easily it but first cordless trimmer I’ve ever used an won’t be the last gets a 5 without a doubt I also bought the bosh lubricant for it I’ve sprayed it up an put it away for next use.
We have lots of hedges and have always used a large petrol hedge cutter. The Bosch copes well this amount of hedging and is lightweight and very quiet. Would thoroughly recommend it.

La poigne est ergonomique et comporte 3 boutons poussoir actionner par scurit en mme temps que celui du manche : je n’ai ressenti aucune fatigue de la main. Chaque bouton est adapt l’orientation dans laquelle vous tenez le taille-haie. Le travail obtenu est prcis, et pour mon premier essai, j’ai taill un nombre impressionnant d’arbustes. La batterie tient super bien et je ne suis pas arrive la vider en 45 mn (non continues) de taille. J’avais dj le taille-haie tlscopique de Bosch, mais je trouve celui-ci beaucoup plus pratique.

Light, easy to use, well balanced in your hands – recommend highly. The battery charges fast and lasts a long time, which is very impressive.
What else can be said. Its perfect for any trimming up to and including heavy trims but light enough to shape. It’s battery life is excellent and used properly incredibly quiet.
It’s very portable, easy to use, and gives a good cut. The charge lasts a good hour.

Does what it’s designed to. Bit of a challenge getting my head around the fact there’s no cable, but cuts the hedge in double quick time without the faff of cables/extension sockets.

This trimmer has replaced a cheaper make who only lasted a couple of years before it ceased to work.This feel much sturdier and is ideal for trimming work which is what I need it for.I would say it is medium weight. It trimmed my conifer hedge with one sweep so will do the job in half the time that my cheaper model took.I am pleased I bought it.

Just what the wife wanted to trim her bush. Come on dirty minds. She can manage it easily now better than the old electric one that she couldn’t lift up.
Super pleased with this trimmer. Really lightweight, easy to use and makes really quick work of trimming our hedge and weeping cherry. Not had to charge it yet after around an hour or so of use. Feel quite stupid for not ordering one much, much sooner – it’s well worth spending the money on!

This is an amazing hedge cutter, I read all the reviews before buying and can say they were all so right.
I have inherited a wretched Laurel hedge which is so difficult to keep in orderthis cutter sliced straight through without any trouble and the job was done in 30 mins!!
Light weight.I have arthritic shoulders but no problem, easy to charge and fit the battery, also the controls are easy to usein fact I enjoyed doing the hedge for the first time.

I thought I would get a break while cutting the hedge so that the battery could be recharged, but it kept on going. That’s 20m of 1.5m tall privet hedge cut on one charge. I’m really impressed.
Moving to battery power also means I no longer have to stay around an extension lead, nor move the value out of the way. It’s so much easier, and so much safer, I’m glad I’ve moved to battery power.

I found it a bit heavy, but I am only 4ft 9in and weigh less than 7stn.
Not had a battery powered hedge trimmer before, bought this to replace my old electric one. Wished I’d swopped years ago. Have just cut 3 sides of a 40m long mixed hedge on one charge. Plenty enough power to cut through decent size stems. Light enough for a 50+ woman (me!) to use. Delighted.

Great improvement over my previous corded trimmer. No wires to connect or keep out of the way whilst cutting. No problem with battery usage which lasted without recharge for over an hour and much longer than I was expecting.

I bought this Bosch which I immediately returned (the plastic cover was so flimsy I couldn’t get the cover off the blades – kept getting caught and would not remove (I was successful after about 20 attempts). Didn’t even bother firing it up, I’d used a Spear & Jackson before (which is great) so returned this and bought one of those instead

First impression you would think these cutters would not perform so well. Wow, was I surprised. Lightweight and robust. Got them because I have ill health. No cables, no fuss, no worries. Big bang for your buck.

We have an electric hedge cutter which I find very heavy to use and such a nuisance managing extension leads in every direction as needed, due to a very big garden.
So this was for me and I am thrilled with it! Went around the garden trimming overgrown shrubs and borders. Charge lasts for ages. Cutters go through thick branches without a problem and it is light to use.
Looking forward to autumn when I can really set to cutting shrubs back.

With a large garden( 1 acre) and a number of hedges a good hedge trimmer is vital.My petrol trimmer failed after 10 years so I needed another Having read the reviews I bought this as I thought it would do the job but not as well. I am well surprised – it cuts all the hedges I need cut without any problem, is half the weight of the petrol one and the battery lasts very well. Can really recommend
I have a very large garden, one hedge is a farm hedge thick blackthorn and holly. This is great for Privet, Holly, Buddleja and anything you will come across in a garden, I like it and you have no danger of cutting through a cable. However for some of the thicker Blackthorn and Sycamore hedging I have it gets stuck. For that I use the Bosch Hedge trimmer AdvancedHedgeCut, that beast will go through anything, but it heavier and you have to use a cable. Over the three years I have had it I have cut it twice, thankfully I have a safety thermal cut-out, on my extension lead.
I would recommend this, it will last for about 45 minutes of cutting on one charge, you can get a lot done in that time.
Overall a very good product. Could be lighter but the branch cutter blades are fab.

No cable is a great advantage. It is also quite light. For a long hedge do make sure it is fully charged.
Very pleased with this. Battery lasted longer than needed and i used it for about 45 minutes. Stong enough to cut at least 1cm thick hedge branches
Cuts quickly, thick hedging tackled easily. Clears any jammed branches at a press of the switch. Much sleeker than my last trimmers. Shorter blades but compromised to gain 20 mm cut capacity which I’m impressed with. The Bosch registration is a hassle, scan doesn’t work and Manual sign in was laborious as it’s unclear which numbers are which codes etc.
Bought this as a replacement for my old Bosch mains operated [with cable] trimmer which was too costly to repair. This one is lighter weight than the previous mains operated one and is easier to use as it does not have the trailing cable On limited trials so far it appears to work well.
I don’t write many reviews but my experience using the Bosch cordless hedge trimmer has moved me to do so. After two days of use I can reveal that it is quite simply – superb!!!
I have three sad corded hedge trimmers hanging in my shed and have a history of cutting through cables – my record is about 90 seconds. I ventured once into using a G-Tech cordless (having been very impressed with their vacuum cleaners) but found it jammed and cut poorly.
The Bosch cordless is, however, brilliant. I used it to cut an entire large privet hedge and its long blade and free cordless movement meant it was far quicker and far neater than all my previous efforts. Even my wife was impressed – words I don’t often write in that order!
On top of that, the battery technology seems to have come on in leaps and bounds as I completed all my work without the battery fading at all.
This hedge trimmer will go down as one of my best ever investments and I would recommend it highly to any prospective purchaser.
I was getting increasingly fed up of hand trimming a particularly large hedge we have, so I waited for the price to drop on this one. Thankfully it did, and I gave it a go on the garden this week! Absolutely amazing – I’m kicking myself for not buying one sooner.
Easy to use and with impressive performance. I like the shorter teeth at the end that can cut through thicker branches. Then it’s easy to sweep through the rest of the hedge with the full length of the blade. I got about forty minutes trimming on one battery charge and it only took fifteen minutes to be back up to 80% charged and ready to go again. Just time for a nice cup of tea in between trimming sessions. Since I did a full trim of all my hedges, there has been a bit of further growth, but I have been able to re-trim very quickly leaving a well-manicured look. I am so glad I bought this.
I’m pleased I didn’t go for a cheaper version with a smaller battery. The cutter is light, easy to carry, easy to use, quick charge and does the job efficiently.
However, if you have a lot of hedge e.g. in eccess if 50 metres, my advice would be to spend the money on a really good one with a large battery

I really am pleased with these hedge trimmers. They are both lightweight and powerful and cut with very little effort. Battery charges in about an hour and is sufficient for my two 20 ft hedges on one charge.
Have only used twice since purchase but would recommend. Make sure you lubricate the blade before and after use with the proper lubricant to maintain optimum performance and cutting ability.
Love this, it is fairly lightweight and has a good battery life. I am an 80 year old female who has recently had to take over hedge cutting from my husband and was finding the corded trimmer too heavy, this is brillian, does a great job.
Took a chance on another Bosch battery hedge cutter as my last one didn’t last thought it being Bosch would last a long time anyway this one I got recently is a much better cutter as my hedge has different shrubs and hedge together cut thru it no bother so very pleased with purchase also it’s not too heavy and no cables to go thru delivery was excellent came in a couple of days

This was revolutionary for me, it was so easy to use, lightweight and such a great tool. First time I’ve had anything cordless, no looking back. Everything in future will be cordless. It was a pleasure to cut the hedge and small bushes. Highly recommended and there was still charge in the battery after use.

A typical Bosch product. Robust, well put together, good cutting blades, and better than my previous Bosch because of the length of the blades which will cope with more than privets. The shears are well balanced, easy to manoeuvre, but does require stout pressure on the trigger before blades operate. Good value from a brand which is trustworthy.

Great weight and cutting – we have a really awkward few areas we need to cut and with a wire you spend most of your time ensuring it’s out the way. This is no more with this cutter and makes it super easy to charge and use lasting enough to take care of a standard front garden and back garden on two charges I’d say

Amazing power from a battery. I feel much safer using this than a mains-powered machine. Never used a trimmer before. Found it easy to use although I am an old codger.

I have had this for over a year now and remain extremely happy with it. It’s been put to good use trimming tons of hedges. It’s lightweight enough for a good, long hedge-cutting session. I am delighted by how long the battery lasts and the fact that I can just slot it in and get going even if it’s not been used (or recharged) for a while! I did buy a spare battery too but I rarely cut enough in one go to have needed the second one.
I love the extra tough bit at the end of the cutting blades that allows you to cut through slightly thicker branches. Because there are always slightly thicker bits, aren’t there?
The three-way hand grips make it easy to use in all positions and mean that I feel really safe – unless both hands are engaged it doesn’t start.
It also has a function whereby it stops working immediately if you get something stuck in it, so you can’t damage it. I always remove the battery before I start pulling the stuck bit of wood out (just because I’m very cautious) and I’ve never had a problem getting it working again immediately the jam is sorted.
Overall, a really excellent well-designed product.
Good battery life and ok for most hedges and the Bosh battery is interchangeable with all other Bosh products.
Not really any good for hard or thicker branches where I need to use my 2, stroke Stihl one
Combine the above with the Bosch X2 year warranty and the fact that this occasionally features as an Amazon deal of the day, then quite simply, even at full price nothing beats this in the 18v category for weight and power. The quality of the blades and the electronics that prevent it from jamming are the best on the market, period. Highly recommended.
I’m disabled and a lady with little strength and didn’t like my previous corded ones. These are so easy to use- wish I had bought them months ago. Did my firs at front of house and side of house too so battery life good.Longer than usual corded ones so took less time. I can highly recommend these.

Nutze die Heckenscheere vor allem im Berg. Habe diverse 18V-Systeme von Bosch, daher nie Strom-Probleme.
Fr Hecken, Strucher und hohes Gras super. Bin bisher durch alles bis ca. Daumen-Dicke auch gut durch gekommen.
Ist jetzt eine Saison im Einsatz und bisher ohne Beschwerden – hatte vorher eine vom grn-/trkisen Hersteller mit Kabel, die hat sich manchmal deutlich schwerer getan.
Much safer and and without cables no risk of tangles.,no need for extension leads! Cuts just as good as the old electric one.
Well its lightwight compared to the old wired version that I bought this to replace. And being cordless its easy to manage and manipulate to where you want to cut.
I bought it primarily for trimming conifer bushes and it went through threee bushes with ease and didnt seem to touch the batterly life. Only really need it to trim a maximum of 1cm conifer branches and the branch blade cutting feature saw these off with ease.

Easy to use – the battery is a bit fiddly to put in but that’s probably the user! I used it for the first time today and it’s great. Not too heavy and safe to use. It doesn’t like thicker branches but if you persist it will cut. Like anything , experiment and it will be fine.
Seems very good so far. Not too noisy and recharges quickly. A safety/lock switch would be a good addition but this is a relatively cheap model. I’d definitely recommend it for easy general maintenance of small to medium gardens
What a joy to use this hedge cutter. Having had to worry about cables, keep them out of the way of the blades, watch you do not trip on them, are they long enough, and then when the hedge is cut, all those cable to be picked up again. This Bosch hedge trimmer is wonderful, and one added bonus is that if you just want to cut a missed branch on the hedge, you just have to walk down to the problem branch, and with no cables to worry about, the job is done in seconds. I would recommend this hedge cutter to any gardener who has a hedge to look after.
This is an excellent hedge trimmer for a number of reasons. The first being that I can use it at a distance from the house without having to work out how to get a cable there or have to use a smelly, noisy, heavy petrol hedge trimmer. Secondly as a 62 year old woman, it’s light enough for me to use with ease. Thirdly it does what it says on the tin, i.e. it cuts hedges, including slightly thicker twigs/small branches. If it catches on anything it stops and backs up automatically to clear. The battery seems to work for ages too. Didn’t time it, however I got tired before it did so while I had a break I topped up the battery and finished the rest later on. Noise isn’t loud either. Best one I’ve ever had.
