Excellent little piece of kit for the price.
Gets into all the tight corners and is a really powerful little sander.
The dust collector is so efficient that you need to keep checking it as it fills up so quickly! It’s the first sander I’ve had where this actually works.
It doesn’t eliminate all dust in the room of course, but I’d say 95% of it.

Works well but doesn't collect all dus
handy but makes dust clouds using on sanding filler. Took lot of cleaning so best use on wood.

Bosch are quality DIY appliances, mind the lead, but excellent and easy to use.
Very effective tool
This is easy to set up and use. Emptying the integrated dust collector required a bit of effort and a you tube vid because instruction needs to be clearer.
Only thing that stops five star rating...
… difficulty opening dust collection box and filter easily detatched so has to be re-glued. Otherwise excellent little tool, perfect for sanding right into corners of old window frames.

I wanted a lighter one after my one broke down. Having to use with one hand and have to be careful with arthritic hands

Fits in the corners with ease, good powerful sander, worth buying the pack of sheets as they velcro on nicely.
Good overall
Struggles with some fillers, but infinitely easier than a sanding block. Has found a happy home with small woodworking projects after being bought to sand repairs to damaged walls
Just right for smaller tasks
The Bosch multi sander is ideal for those smaller jobs, i purchased this specifically to sand my stairs and it completed the task easily. It is a bit noisy but I guess that’s to be expected with a powerful motor. I found it easy to hold and manoeuvre as well.
Good little sander.
Used for over an hour continuously without any problem. The on/off switch is very stiff but I may have a dodgy one. Bosch kit is generally great. I’m happy enough with this sander. If switch gets worse I’ll send it back.

Excellent little sander which was perfect for sanding doors and architrave around the house in preparation for painting. I was anticipating it being a loud high pitch sound, but it wasn’tsanding was actually made quite bearable
A damn fine little sande
I’ll never go back to manual sanding with a cork block and regular sheets of sandpaper after using this.

Great Produc
Only used this once to sand down an old piece of solid timber to use as a mantle piece. Does the job very well although it’s on the small side. The dust catcher is a little tricky and you just need to be firm and rotate it to get it off and on – you can look online if you get stuck. Perfect for small to medium jobs and will certainly handle the bigger jobs but will take you a little more time because of it’s size. I would buy it again, very happy

The body of the sander is quite bulky to hold for smaller hands, a handle would be better. The sole plate of the sander does wear out at the tip leaving the sanding pads not properly attached after heavy use. The sole plate is not easy to replace by all accounts, but at a total cost of 32, it is not too expensive to replace. However, I found I could not complete a whole project with one sander – ie sanding three doors with architraves and door casings. Will probably need to purchase another sander to complete sanding my windows. sanding pads do stick very well until the nose becomes worn. The dust collector is ridiculously difficult to disengage – needs a clip type fastening.

It works well
Well impressed it works very well.
The reason for a 4 star and not five is for two reasons,
1) The pads took nearly a week to come after the sander, frustrating when you have the sander and cannot use it.
and 2) the instructions on how to remove and open the dust collector is, to say least, poor and when it’s full of powder it is somewhat messy and possibly a health hazard, until and when, you figure out how to open it. Second time it’s OK.

Fantastic quality for such a low price
It’s a pleasure to use – maximum power, minimum vibration. Even just holding it without even turning it on is pretty good ! The dust collection compartment is a little stiff to remove initially but it quickly gets easier with use. The Velcro attachment for the sandpaper works well – it comes with just a few sheets so buy some additional ones, available of course on Amazon. I’ve seen a few negative reviews of this product but I can easily see why they are massively outnumbered by the 5 star reviews. And it’s a Bosch after all, so it’s bound to be good. Just fantastic value for money.
Great Sander high recommend
This is a great little sander to get the DIY jobs done I need. I have used to prep my outdoor bench for staining, drawers for painting, and other smaller jobs so far. I am disabled and do find it easy to use.

Great little sande
Great little sander, feels solid, the sanding sheets are attached by a velcro type material which makes changing them easy. It does a pretty good job of sucking the dust up although inevitably it doesn’t capture it all. I’ll only be using it occasionally for DIY jobs. I know some have reported the velcro fails fairly quickly resulting in there being no way to attach the sanding sheets but i’ll update this review should i experience that. Even if it does fail after a while, can’t complain for the price.

Very happy with the purchase only 3pads wit it l ordered some replacement straight away certainly does the job.I attached my hover to it which got rid of some dust,it is not easy to remove the dust box on the sande

I am so glad I made the upgrade. The difference between this and my previous B and Q special cheapy is broad, but the price difference isn’t. I got this on a good deal at 30 (Feb 2021) when a cheaper in a DIY store is about ten quid less. That small extra cost gets you alot more. More manoeuvrability, smoother flow, drastically less vibrations and less mess. Oh and the hardcase, dead chuffed with the hardcase.

You give the details online about your purchase, Amazon is an accepted retailer, and they email you out the warranty certificate and you have a profile on the website. Ideal if you get more Bosch tools.
So the most outstanding bit about this product is the amazing sanding ability, but without the severe pins and needles inducing vibrations. It glides effortlessly and whilst undertaking long winded sanding tasks it really doesn’t cause that horrible sensation in your working hand nor fatigue.
The quality is outstanding. Like I said the difference between a generic cheap one in a DIY store and a low priced Bosch one is huge.

The sander benefits from a dust extraction and storing canister. It is extremely effective. Sanding is normally messy but this sucks it up really well and makes the whole task a lot less messy. Conveniently it stores all the dust in a removable cannister at the back which makes the task even easy. The capacity is acceptable to me, best for small to medium tasks, you don’t have to keep emptying it that often.
Overall, I’m a extremely impressed with this. Whatever the next power tool I buy will be, I am highly likely to get a Bosch one based on this sander alone. Like I said, normally I’d buy budget power tools and hand tools.

Great value small job sande
Great for small diy jobs. I sanded a small table and also a window ledge. I then sanded a larger table which was covered in varnish. The first two were ideal jobs. The larger table it worked very well on too but required several changes of pads. Excellent little sander for smaller jobs. It sucks up most of the dust too and yes, the dust collecting compartment is a bit tricky to remove but it works well.

Great wee sander I’ve used it lots and it’s still as it was when I purchased it I did notice when you sand onto plaster board you get a shock every ten seconds I presume it’s static building up from the paper on the board as it doesn’t shock when I sand anything else only plaster board

This is an awesome little tool. I was helping my daughter to sand down some cupboards and so bought this. We also bought some aftermarket sanding sheets too in various grades. It does exactly what you’d expect.

Feels really nice in the hand like most bosch tools and though I’ve only used it a couple of times, I don’t foresee any problems. The micro filter system works really well with dust at a minimum. The dust collector is a tad stiff to remove but I imagine this is to stop it vibrating loose as with other brand Sanders that I have. It’s not a complaint as I’d much rather it stayed in place, which it does. I did notice that a few of the poor reviews were using this to sand fence panels and such which really is the wrong tool for the job. It’s a detail sander. Using this for major sanding jobs is like trying to mix concrete in a juicer. Something’s gonna give. If you want to sand small areas, patches and into corners then this is the tool. But if you intend to sand down the side of a barn you need a belt sander or at very least a large plate orbital sander.

Easy to use, bought to restore furniture and didn’t want to buy industrial sized tools so this was perfect! Great size too which makes it easy to store.

I love it when it was new bit as i have had it longer it no longer holds the sandpaper securely which is mighty annoying. also emptying it is very difficult. You have to really poke at all the bits of sawdust to get it out.

Very easy to use with a powerful quiet (for a sander) motor. The built in dust collector works very well but is extremely difficult to remove for emptying.

Bought a new Bosch to replace an older one. I find these so handy for DIY. It does the job very well, not too noisy and comes with a box to keep it together and safe. No issues at all.
The sander itself is o.k., but the dust collector is too small. I bought an attachment gadget to fit on in order to use a vacuum cleaner as someone suggested, but that did not fit on the vacuum cleaner. So I used a couple of carrier bags and taped them onto the attachment, which partly did the job, but a lot of dust got through. Why don’t they provide a suitable bag to fit on sander, which would make more sense, instead of that too small dust collector, on top of which I couldn’t get it off, and had to get the help of a neighbour.

A Good Sande
There’s nothing to dislike about this sander – it performs well and is easy to control.
I do have an issue with the robustness of the sanding plates. They do seem to damage relatively easily and I’m not sure if this is a good or bad thing – maybe a softer material is less likely to mark/damage what you are sanding. I’m a DIYer and after a good few days sanding, it looks like it’s been with me for a decade.
Nonetheless it seems to do the job but there is a doubt in my mind that at some point i’ll be purchasing a new plate for the thing

Had an old JCB palm sander ,and so glad I purchased this one , so much easier to use ,with the Velcro sanding pads and dust compartment . I had lots off glossing and sanding down of my walls and this saved hours of my time . Highly recommend from a quality manufacture

It was out of the box and being used within minutes of arriving. Easy to use, and the finished job was excellent. 4 large window frames and a door sanded and varnished in very quick time.

I had a quick read of the very clear instruction pamphlet and set to work on sanding and smoothing down the woodwork in my kitchen,that needs painting! An excellent product,’nuff said!
Quick and easy
Easy to use. Can be held easily at any angle and the small dust collection box allows for hassle free manoeuvrability. I bought this to do my hall, stairs and landing and it took hours off doing it by hand the traditional way. I didn’t even break a sweat as the sander does all the work. Value for money and well made.

I do a bit of DIY and these tools are great for that but I would spend more if I wanted to use this sander everyday or for a series of major projects. It is great for jobs like smoothing down a door before painting or removing flaking varnish (the 2 jobs I have used it for so far). You have to be careful not to push too hard when sanding as this destroys the foam backing plate – just accept that you have to use a couple of extra sanding sheets to do the job. All in all I would recommend for general DIY but not for bigger projects.

This Bosch sander is a superb bit of kit. Only used it once but so far I am very pleased with it. It is easy to handle and provides excellent results.

It works & collects the dust!
Works quite well, I was surprised how much dust it collected in the container built into the back of the unit. However it is quite hard to get the container off the unit and remove the lid to empty and clean the filter.

Easy to use. Easy to swap out the sanding pads. Didn’t realise how many would be needed as it goes through pads quite quickly but I blame that on the wood being sanded! Gives good enough results when making a pallet bar. Can be a bit dusty but only used it outdoors so not really a problem

Superb little tool
I used this sander for sanding down an old dilapidated bench and seat unit which was in a very poor state and I set about the task with this sander and the first thing I noticed was how quiet it was. To totally sand down the bench and seats took two hours and I went through 5 sheets of sanding paper from very coarse to mid coarse and eventually, it looked great. I then set about staining it with antique pine varnish and the finished job is superb (even though I say it myself) I think this little sand is well worth the money and the 3 year guarantee is very comforting also.

All good just what I needed
Blew up my previous different brand mouse, trying this one instead. Easy to hold, on/off switch easy, emptying dust collector not easy but not too bad at all. NB black and decker mouse sanding sheets don’t fit slightly too small, need Bosch sheets.
Not really suitable for bigger projects.
Not the best if you’re sanding requirements are quite a big job.I bought it to sand my stairs which had some paint on them and it struggled.I ended up buying an additional orbital sander which was up to the job more than this.i had to use paint stripper then scrape it off.if you’re using it to take a thin layer off of wood then I think this will be fine,but that being said if the job is a lot bigger invest atleast another 40-50 into just buying one sander.

The dust compartment is hard to detach and hard to reassemble
It’s an excellent sander. I used it to prep up my wooden staircase before painting, and it’s a real joy to handle.
When I bought this I thought there might be problem maneuvering around the cable but it was not an issue.
The dust extraction is also a great function and works better than I thought.
The only problem I see is detaching the dust compartment for cleaning is hard and somewhat fiddly. Then there is the inconvenient opening its lid. re-assembly is also not smooth, and if it doesn’t sit right the dust extractor becomes a dust sprayer (watch your eyes).

When I bought this I thought there might be problem maneuvering around the cable but it was not an issue.
The dust extraction is also a great function and works better than I thought.
The only problem I see is detaching the dust compartment for cleaning is hard and somewhat fiddly. Then there is the inconvenient opening its lid. re-assembly is also not smooth, and if it doesn’t sit right the dust extractor becomes a dust sprayer (watch your eyes).
Nice sander but for the case...
The sander is lovely. Gets the job done. Easy to hold. However, the clasps on the case the sander came in don’t hold the case shut. Strange that everything should be perfect but something simple, such as providing a case where the clasps work, is badly executed.
Good value for money.
I like that the size and shape of sander has two different ones. The sheets are a bit expensive but last well.
Ideal small job sander!
This is the ideal sander for smaller jobs, it is easy to use and does a grand job. However recommend you only use Bosch sanding disks as the cheaper on offer do not fit as well!
Great little sande
I bought this sander to use for light furniture restorations. For the price this is a great piece of kit! Well made, with a good quality plastic box, and detachable dust catcher/filter. Really easy to use and gives a good result! I’m not an expert in sanders but I really like this and am very pleased with it.
Great small sande
Bought this sander as my 10 year old sander had given up the ghost and I had loads of jobs to carry out around the house and garden.
So far, its performed brilliantly, sanding all manor of items, from wood to car body filler. Cant fault it in any way …..
