Good kettle, so far works well, water taste good, like function of seeing the temperature and it makes a beep type noise to tell you when boiling has completed. Like can see how close to boiling it is with counting lines

We wanted a toaster that would do bagels. They are quite difficult to find.
We found this one, not alone does it do what we wanted, but a lot more – would definitely recommend.

    Marvelous
This kettle pours better than any I’ve ever owned. And that’s a long list!
Brilliant controls, easy to use, counts down so you know exactly when it’s ready at the selected temperature.

The matching toaster that I bought at the same time has now been returned TWICE.
The 1st one, the two right hand slots kept jamming and
the 2nd one caught fire, flames 6 inches out the top! Glad I was in the kitchen at the time!
Needless to say, that has gone back for a FULL REFUND!!

    Excellent kettle
I always go for a kettle now with variable temperature settings and this is a very good kettle.
Lost one star due to the following negatives:
Lid is stiff to pull off (not a flip type) so might be an issue if you have, say, arthritis.
Base is that silvered plastic which feels tacky and cheap, rather than steel.

    Looks good, boils quickly
So, from my experience, the kettle looks good, is great for different types of green tea as well as normal, boils quickly. Some say it’s noise but tbh I haven’t really noticed.

Good kettle but.... did not last a year :(
Kettle itself is excellent. However, the kettle failed after just under a year. Amazon were excellent and replaced it like for like. This review is written in the replacement kettle order.

    Stylish and Good Quality
Feels well made and looks good. Love the ability to have so many bread settings so I can get toast and other things done perfectly. Also handles frozen bread really well.

    Best option but not perfec
This is an elegant-looking appliance and doesn’t occupy too much space. I like the simplicity of the controls. Nevertheless, there are a few things to be aware of:
    (1) It’s practically impossible to pour all the water out of the kettle because some water runs past the spout when you tilt the kettle all the way. Some of this water then gets trapped at the rim of the main body. This means that there is always a small amount of old water left in the kettle. Furthermore, the flow splits into several dribbles as you reach the end of the pour, which can get messy.
    (2) The filter for catching limescale in the spout is quite coarse; the holes are about a millimetre wide. Hence, it would probably let some pieces through. My simple 1990s Russell Hobbs had a much finer mesh that is still intact after 30 years. Luckily I now live in a soft-water area so I hope not to need this feature.
    (3) The body does get scorchingly hot (again, unlike the trusty old Russell Hobbs). The only serious problem about that is that you need to shield your hand if you want to open the top to refill before the kettle has cooled.
    (4) You have to pour about 500ml into the kettle before the water level is visible at the bottom of the gauge. This is a shame because the minimum safe fill (according to the instructions) is 250ml, which is less than many kettles of this size. Hence, you would have to measure the amount of water externally to avoid wasting energy by boiling too much (or risk running short by guessing).
Despite these glitches, I still think I made the right choice.

Great kettle, limited measuring for smaller quantities
First kettle with temperature control. Works great.

The tune at the end is not too loud but also making it a bit pointless. Thankfully quiet enough not to be annoying. The water window measures from 4-8 cups so need to take the lid off to gauge one or two cups. The lid is stiff at the moment.

That said very happy with it. Very easy to use, not had issues with metallic water, just took a star off due to the limited water window.

    Best Kettle
This is the best Kettle I have ever used, it easy to use, quick & quiet to reach temperature. I also like the look of it in my kitchen. The only bit of criticism I have for the kettle is where the water level gauge is, under the handle so you can’t see level whilst filling the kettle from the tap, however I don’t have this problem as I fill the kettle from a filter jug so can see level easily so still 5 stars for me. Also saves money on descaling products plus electricity saved using the lower temperatures & quick turn off when temperature is reached until other kettles which keep boiling after high temperature reached

    Very nice kettle.
Best kettle i have ever bought. It helped it was on sale and i had a 10 voucher so only cost me 49 but still. Built very very well quality is amazing and boils super fast and has metal/steel filters so no more cheap plastic mesh rubbish. Best part is it boils at lower temperatures and i still have a hot brew while saving on electric because im not constantly reboiling to 100

If you have the money to spend and or have vouchers to use get this kettle. Recommended

    Love the temperature optio
I love this kettle and the temperature options are great, however I marked it down slightly as the lead is ridiculously short. I had to buy a short extension lead, as the lead was not long enough to plug into the socket.

Only complaint is cant tell from far how much water is in and cant tell if there is enough for a single cup (window starts at 4 cup capacity) but love the design and features too much that i dont really care anymore

    Really like it!
We’re pleasantly surprised with this kettle and really like it! It shows the temperature heating up and cooling down and how long it has to go to get to your set temperature. The lid is a little stiff to take off, but I think that will get easier over time. Overall, I think its a really nice kettle

    Smart smart kettle.
Nice looking and well made kettle. Clear easy temperature controls. The lid lifts off rather than hinges, so you can’t really fill it one-handed. Also, I would prefer a wider spout so you could fill it more easily without taking the lid off. But it works well and is quieter than some I’ve experienced.

    Smart - in both senses!
Replacement for a previous generation which finally dies. This is a smart, well-finished device. The temperature controls are good and operate well. Happy to recommend it, and would buy another.

Very smart looking kettle, plays a tune when it’s boiled. Handy temperature gauge. Lid is a bit fiddley so easier to fill it from the spout. Not as practical as a cheep kettle with a flip lid, but adds a touch of class to a kitchen. Pain & gain.

    Tiny figures on controls.
The build quality is excellent. The temperature range and slots will accommodate any bread product you care you put in it, and it will toast it to perfection. The overall four star rating is because you need a magnifying glass to see the numbers on the control knobs; they are TINY! If you look at them in bright ligjt, they are O.K. The moral of the story is, put the toaster where the light can shine on it!

Brilliant toaster with loads of toasting options
When our 10 year old Dualit lite packed up we looked at getting another one but the prices were a bit high.
We definitely wanted a bagel option and ideally able to use the toastie cages from the dualit we had purchased.
This one ticked all the boxes and even had copper accents to match our kitchen.
We always use warburtons toastie bread which is a big slice. These fit in length ways giving you a nice even slice of toast.
The dualit toastie cages fit perfectly.
The amount of options is brilliant and I would say we use the majority of them. We use this on a daily basis toasting bread, bagels, crumpets, pancakes, waffles and toasties. My Mum is gluten free and the option is brilliant. I believe it does a slightly lower heat for longer so really toast gluten free bread without burning it.
I initially thought the toaster was a bit expensive and the options a bit gimmicky. However I am very pleased with this toaster and would recommend it to anybody.
    Happy toasting!

    A great digital kettle
I like the fact it has different temperature settings, it would get 5 stars if there was a setting for 50 degrees (remove the 95-degree setting). If you want the water just warm enough for a quick drink 50 degrees would do it. There are other reasons 50 degrees would be useful.
See if anyone from Breville reads these reviews!

    Great kettle
This kettle arrived in super quick time, it works great, I love the fact it works by touch and that there is not a flimsy on/ off switch which I think always let expensive kettles down. Heats up to the required temperature quickly but doesn’t keep the temperature for very long. I quite like the mixed trims. The one thing that would improve this kettle is a mechanism to open the lid, rather than just having to yank it off which makes me a bit fearful of spilling water onto myself, it is stiff to get off.

This is a lovely kettle, simple to use with a polite sing-song trill to let you know when it’s ready (unlike my old Bosch that used to rudely bleep in competition with the fridge and washing machine). I couldn’t be more pleased…

I like the kettle ! Easy to clean but mine came with an imperfections on the paint around the control panel only noticed one had used it and thought it was a bit of mess.. when I looked closer it’s was where the painted surface did not take the paint.
No point complaining about it as the rest of it is ok !

Fast, simple, good looking, well made temp controllable kettle
Excellent kettle – fast, large volume, temp controllable. The lid needs to be removed manually, unlike my previous kettle but I soon forgot about that. Pleased I didn’t buy a designer kettle for 2-3x the price. I suspect this will be quite reliable, because they are no moving parts apart from the temperature switch. Don’t wet the base though – not sure how safe it is touching something quite so metallic which is connected to the mains and wet at the same time. Nice looking, if a little shiny for me. And it’s metal which I prefer for a kettle. Plastic and boiling water don’t go so well together in my mind, somehow. 5 stars.

    Setting do make a difference
Do all the setting make a difference? Yes they actually do. Toast the bagle on the bagle setting and it’s beautiful cooked, toast it on the white bread setting it’s horrid dry and hard. Fruit bead the same comes our crisp with the fruit still moist.
A gluten free setting also adjusts cooking duentobthe different density of gluten free bread.
If your only ever going cook white bread this isn’t for you.
Only 4 stars as I would have liked a one side only toast for burger buns.

Stylish kettle with useful temperature function and quiet boil
I really love this kettle! I was searching for ages to find a decent one to replace our failing one and even though this didn’t have as many purchases the reviews were so good they convinced me. It looks really stylish with the copper trim and the base isn’t too big so it’s still relatively compact. The buttons on the base are touch screen and mean you can control the temperature from 100-85 degrees and it tracks the temperature of the water as it cools so you know if you need to reboil it again. The boil is also reasonably quiet (compared to my old kettle which sounded like a plane was landing in the kitchen) and it has a pleasant short tune it plays when it’s reached temperature.
Would definitely recommend and really pleased I bought it.

Nice design, slightly let down by performance
First and foremost the design is great, love the whole aesthetic. This toaster is let down by it’s toasting performance, more times than not you will get an uneven toast regardless of what item you put into the slot; be it a crumpet, bread or waffle. The first few uses resulted in a very strong burning plastic smell, which over time has dissipated with more uses. I’d also like to note that most large slices of bread will result in the top side being untoasted and thus needing to be flipped over if you want browning on that part of the bread. I also attempted to turn the bread onto its side in an attempt to have full coverage of the slice which would jam the lifting mechanism as a result and is not recommended. Aside from the points mentioned it was a decent toaster although the price is on the higher side I think you’re paying for the appearance more than the performance in my opinion.

I missed the fact on the reviews that looking at the water gauge is not easy as it’s behind the handle. But you do get used to it.
